Company Information

NatWest (Natwest.com) has a variety of loans, many of which can help you manage your finances more effectively. Many people struggle with debt, and find that their monthly repayments and various debts have become overwhelming and difficult to manage. Consolidating your debt with one loan can be an effective way of minimising this problem and organising your finances. NatWest offers personal loans that can help you to consolidate your debt without spiralling into bigger problems.

Generally, it is more cost effective to use personal savings to pay off debts, but sometimes this isn’t possible. In certain cases, taking on a debt consolidation loan is the easiest way to pay off existing debts from credit cards, loans and bills, as it moves all of your debt into one place. This larger NatWest loan can also be extended over a long period of time, which allows you to deal with smaller monthly repayments. However, a debt consolidation loan will probably eventually cost more, as higher amounts of interest will be accrued. You should talk the decision through with a financial adviser at your local NatWest branch to ensure that it’s the right choice for your financial circumstances.

If you do decide to take out a debt consolidation loan, NatWest can offer a loan between £1,000 and £25,000. This loan is available to NatWest current account holders who are over the age of 18 and have a qualifying annual income. The rate offered will depend on your personal circumstances and the amount of the loan.

If the loan is under £15,000, you can repay over a maximum of five years. Higher loans of £15,000 to £25,000 can be repaid over a maximum of seven years. The minimum loan term is one year.

You can apply for a NatWest debt consolidation loan online by registering for Internet Banking. You should be able to get a quote and an instant decision, and could receive the money in your account the following day.

I am always open to good advice even at my age so when a friend advised me to do something about sorting out my debts before they got out of hand I heeded her advice and approached my bank for a suitable loan to help me clear some of my debts. I was able to do the application online and get an instant quote which really helped because it spurred me on knowing that I could easily afford the loan and would be so much better off each month with just the one affordable loan to repay instead of several credit and store cards. My loan money has just come through now and before I start clearing those debts I just wanted to say a huge thank you to NatWest for being so helpful in giving me this affordable loan and so quickly too. I only had to wait 24 hours after the loan was finalised for the money to reach my account which is just in time for me to start making those first full repayments and say goodbye to those credit card bills for ever.

Getting a debt consolidation loan from NatWest has been one of my better decisions and I am glad I did it now instead of waiting until my debts started to become a problem for me. I still have a very good credit rating and I haven't defaulted on any other loans I have taken out over the years so that stood me in very good stead when NatWest were assessing my application. I ended up getting a very agreeable APR for a 3 year loan of 6K and the monthly repayments will be a fraction of what I am currently paying out each month. Yes, this NatWest debt consolidation loan really has been one of my better decisions and I'd recommend other people in the same position as me do the same before it's too late.

It was a sudden realisation that I needed to get my debts under control before they became a problem for me. I was managing them but it was a bit of a juggling act each month and I really didn't like the stress it was beginning to cause me and my wife. So I got straight on to NatWest via my internet banking and applied for one of their debt consolidation loans. I got an instant decision with a quote that was very reasonable indeed and so without further ado I applied formally for the loan based on the rates in the quote. I maybe should have looked at other lenders first but the fact is my bank have always been good to me and being able to get this loan through them and manage it online is going to be so much more convenient for me. I know their rates are competitive enough because I do keep an eye on this sort of thing in the financial pages of the newspapers so I wasn't going into this loan blindly. Once the loan was finalised I did check out the loan comparison websites just out of curiosity and I am glad to say I wasn't able to find a loan any better than the one NatWest have given me.
