Clydesdale Bank (CBonline.co.uk) offers one of the lowest representative APR loans currently on the market at just 4.9%, with the loan available to both new and existing customers. The loan can be used for almost any purpose, and is fixed for the duration of the loan enabling you to plan your finances better.

While Clydesdale is a Scottish bank with few branches outside of its region, the loan is available online to anyone in the United Kingdom no matter where they are based. Better yet, a decision is made instantly based on your circumstances and credit profile meaning that you do not have to wait days to hear about the decision. If you are approved you simply need to sign and post paperwork, and the loan could be paid into your existing bank account from any bank in a matter of days.

Clydesdale offer fixed interest rates on their loans, meaning that even if the Bank of England increase their base rate substantially you’ll still be paying the same amount back each month. This is great for financial planning and removes much of the risk of taking out a loan.

If your financial circumstances improve, for instance if you receive an inheritance or you are simply taking the loan out to cover home improvement work before selling your property, then you can take advantage of Clydesdale’s early repayment options. This can be a full or part repayment, and you will be charged only an additional 58 days interest.

The loan is available for anyone aged between 23 and 74 who earn £15,000 or more per year, while Clydesdale customers can take the loan out from age 18. You can borrow between £1000 and £25,000 for between one and five years. The loan is unsecured, so your property isn’t used as collateral and you do not have to be a homeowner to take out the loan.

I was skeptical that I would be accepted for a loan from the Clydesdale given that I'm not Scottish and I've never even visited Scotland. I know they claim to offer loans to everyone in the UK, but I felt certain this was just a legal requirement. After applying on the off-chance I was delighted that I was accepted, and at the advertised APR rate. I quickly sent off the forms and the money was in my account by the end of the week. Good thing too, as I needed to pay the builder!I've been doing up a flat I bought at auction. Kind of like homes under the hammer, I purchased a one bedroom flat in a converted house formerly owned by the council. The price was substantially cheaper than I would have paid on the open market, but still took up my entire savings. The property was uninhabitable and unmortgagable - it didn't even have a kitchen or bathroom - so to sell it I needed work doing. Thankfully the Clydesdale loan covered the cost of getting the property up to scratch and thanks to a super efficient estate agent I was able to flip the flat in less than three months. The profit made would have paid back the loan several times over even if there wasn't early repayment options, but thankfully Clydesdale allowed me to pay back the entire loan with just a 58 day interest fee. In total I only had the loan for three months and paid five months interest, but it really enabled me to get started in my new career as a property developer. For that I'm eternally grateful, and will repay Clydesdale by visiting Scotland - although probably not the Clyde!

I tried Clydesdale first as I’m Scottish and wanted to show the love. I’m glad I did. You can do the whole process online, and that’s where I started, but going in to their branch is another option and when I had a few questions, I popped in during my lunch hour and was very pleased with their customer service. I did fill in the form online later as this was better for me. I got an instant result, which surprised me, and had the money in a few days from when I started the process. It couldn’t be better. I’m not even a Clydesdale customer but got a great deal, I think. I am over 23 so had no issues on that score but I don’t own my own home so I wondered if it was going to be a problem. Not so. They had no worries about that. Of course, they checked my credit score, but that was fine- I expected they would. I like the fact, too, that I can pay back the whole loan early if it turns out I am able to do so. I’m not borrowing a great deal of money so this might be possible and it’ll mean it’s even cheaper. In fact, I’m pleased about every aspect of the process.

I am 32 years young and do not yet own a home, which is almost always a bit of a problem when you are looking for a personal loan. I did my homework and got some advice from people I know regarding personal finance companies, but I chose Clydesdale Bank because of the fact that I did not need to be a homeowner in order to qualify for a personal loan. What I needed my loan for is besides the point, the point is that I was able to get an unsecured personal loan from them at just under 5% interest and with no security. The only thing that I needed to really prove was that I did in fact earn in excess of £15,000 per year.Clydesdale Bank is a great option for young people who are not homeowners yet.If you are like me, take my advice and join up with Clydesdale for your personal loan. They will help anyone in the UK, no matter where you are situated. You owe it to yourself to give it a chance! You are only young once and you deserve the opportunity to explore your hopes and dreams.

This Scottish bank faces much scrutiny from the UK residents who look to take a loan out there but there really is nothing to fear when taking a loan out with this bank. The competitive interest rate of just 4.9% is available to both new and existing customers, which is something that many banks don't offer. Often, the interest rate may be much higher for somebody who does not have a bank account but not at Clydesdale. The majority of occasions see that the representative APR advertised is the APR that the loaner will receive which is something which is not as common as you would like to think when it comes to personal loans. The loan is hugely flexible and available for terms starting from 12 months and ending in 60 months which is very similar to many other personal loan company's or banks out there. The amount that you can loan is also very similar, ranging from as little as £1,000, all the way up to £25,000. The loan also has a fixed interest rate which means it can't change due to the economical climate, which can effect other loans from different banks. The loan can actually be paid off at any time if there are significant changes to your finances. This can even happen before the spell of your loan is exceeded. So if you club together enough money to pay the whole thing back after six months, then you can. You can do this with a small additional charge of just 58 days interest which is common in other banks for early repayments but most do not allow you to pay the whole thing back before your borrowing period is up.

I had seen a very positive review of Clydesdale Bank's loans on a money website so took a chance and applied to them when I needed a loan for building works at my home. I was pleasantly surprised to find the whole loan process quick and simple. While I was completing my loan application online I opened a chat window to speak to a customer service representative. Lynne was really helpful and gave me answers to a lot of my queries. She told me the quickest way to access my funds would be if I printed my loan application off and posted it direct to the bank. I did this and the funds were deposited into my bank account a few days later.Really I don't have anything negative to say about the loan application process with Clydesdale. I thought it would be difficult to access a loan as I am not a customer of the bank, but I was approved and my repayment rate is just 4.9%APR which is a great rate of interest for an unsecured loan, in my opinion.

Clydesdale Bank are another high street lender that offer a 4.9% APR representative rate for loans of £1,000 to £25,000. Loans can be taken out over a period of 12 to 60 months. Suppose a loan of £8,000 was taken out over 2 years, then 59 monthly repayments would be £140.99 and a final monthly repayment would be £140.73. The total amount payable on the loan would be £8459.11. Clydesdale do seem to offer a very competitive interest rate if you are accepted. Online reviews of Clydesdale's loan mention that the advertised rate of 4.9% was secured by numerous customers who applied for a loan. Thus, their online presence as a loan provider appears to have grown because of positive reviews. Customers should be aware of an interest rate fluctuations if they have a poor credit or they are unsure if they will be accepted - the rate of interest advertised is not always the rate of interest secured. Clydesdale appear to be a good option if you are looking for an affordable personal loan and their customer service appears to speak for itself.

We decided to use the Clydesdale bank after completing a search engine search. We already have a current loan with our bank that we do all of our banking with, so needed to use a different one.We wanted to try and get a good interest rate to consolidate all of our other debts, and have a little bit extra to treat ourselves to a weekend away. We were surprised to be accepted, as we wanted to borrow quite a large amount, and although we have always been excellent payers we do have quite a lot of credit in our names. The money was paid to us really quickly after the initial application, it couldn't of been anymore than a working week. Not only did we get all of our consolidation sorted out quickly, we booked our weekend away the evening we received the loan into our bank.

I was initially attracted to Clydesdale Bank because of their APR, which was supposed to be the lowest available on the market. But when I got my quote I wasn’t that impressed at the rate, although it was what I was expecting so I accepted it. I got a rate of 4.6% APR for a 5-year loan on a £15,500 used Range Rover.I’m a forestry volunteer and need the vehicle to travel around the back roads and woods, so it was essential I get this for business, which is why I was not too excited about getting the loan in the first place. I was also pleasantly surprised because most people think they are a Scottish bank, but even in Surrey I was able to deal with them. They serve everyone in the UK apparently so it’s good for all.No collateral was required and they did not even want to see proof that I was a home-owner (although I do have a home). They made the decision almost instantly over the phone after checking my credit records and if I repay early I only have to pay about 2 months of interest as a “penalty”.Average service and does what is expected. I would neither recommend them or advise against them; what I recommend the most is researching providers for yourself and finding one that matches your needs and situation perfectly. Most providers are happy to provide information and advice over the phone, so knock yourself out!

My wife started working before she got a college degree. This was not because she wasn't interested in college education but because she had to support her two sisters after both of her parents died in a road accident. She continued working even after we got married. However, she has always wanted to be a teacher. Getting a college degree and moving to the job of her dreams has always been her top priority. After two years of saving, I finally managed to get her to a local university. I cannot describe how excited she was. Finally, after long delays and tragedy, her dreams seemed in sight. Unfortunately, the excitement wasn't to last long. It didn't take much time before I realized just how expensive college education is. I don't earn much from my job and with my wife busy with her studies, I became the sole breadwinner. Worse, the savings were just not enough for all her tuition. It turned out we had not made adequate preparations. The college we had chosen was too expensive and our savings were not enough to cater for the full tuition costs of her education.Desperate to enable her finish the course comfortably, I decided to take a personal loan. I made enquiries in four banks before finally settling on Clydesdale. I found their low interest rate attractive and suitable for my financial situation. The application process was quite fast and was relieved when they accepted my loan request on the same day. A week later the money was in my account. I immediately paid out the tuition fees of her final year. Then in an amazing stroke of luck, I got promoted. With a higher salary, I decided to take the early repayment option. I paid a small fine but was able to clear the whole loan in the following three months. Meanwhile my wife has graduated and has already got three teaching job offers! I cannot thank Clydesdale enough enabling her dreams come true.

If you are looking for very low APR, then you need to think of Clydesdale. What makes the deal even better is that, the loans are available to anyone living in the UK, regardless of whether the individual is their client or not. Any person aged 18 and above and is a client of the bank can get the loan. For non clients, you have to be at least 23 years of age and not more than 73 years to qualify. The choice of what you can do with the loan is all yours without any limitations.Immediately you apply for the loan online, you get instant decision on the application. The next part is to fill paperwork and sign it. You then send to them and in a matter of days, your money will be available in your bank account. This makes it a perfect loan in case you are in an emergency and need cash immediately. They give loans of between £1,000 and £25,000 with a repayment period of up to 5 years. The loans are unsecured and will only need the applicant to be earning at least £15,000 a year, which is relatively small, making it available to many people. You can repay early with only a charge of 58 days interest as the fee.

I applied for a loan of £5000 from Clydesdale bank. This was 6 months ago and I am now well into my repayment period. I made my first contact and inquiries over the phone. The gentleman I dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. He listened to my circumstances and informed me that there wouldn't be any issues with me securing the loan.I made the application by printing out the forms from the website and posting them in. I don’t remember the exact timescale but the turnaround time was remarkable. The funds were transferred faster than I expected. The loan amount was fairly substantial to me and I was a little hesitant in taking it. It may be down to pessimism on my part but it seemed too good to be true at the time! There were no unexpected costs though and the outcome has been a good one. Thanks to a change of circumstance, I will be paying off the loan ahead of schedule. I am glad to say that early repayment is an option with Clydesdale. Thanks to the rates, service and payment options, this has been a pleasant experience all-round. It's really helpful to not be stuck in a contract that you can't get out of. It's impossible to say what your situation will be like in 5 years time.

I needed to borrow money for the biggest day of my life – my wedding! After literally a life time of planning there was only one key ingredient missing – money! Id raised as much as I could but was still falling short of what I needed and I certainly wasn't going to scrimp on anything, this is a once in a lifetime event (hopefully!), so I decided that a personal loan was my best bet to come up with the rest of the funds.I'd already been making wedding arrangements at this stage and as such had spent a good proportion of my existing savings on the venue, catering, bridesmaids dresses, flower arrangements, wedding cars... the list goes on, I'm sure you get the picture! I knew that it wouldn't be long before my finances dried up so needless to say I needed cash quick! We had a few major expenses left including our honeymoon so we needn't to borrow a fairly large amount, at this point we were particularly worried, after a few hours of searching and going through quote after quote we came across a loan that was just perfect. A fixed rate personal loan with a great APR to boot, all this didn't really matter though the main factor was getting the loan accepted. I was really impressed with the responsiveness of the Clydesdale bank; we were informed that we were successful within minutes. In the end it turns out we needed every penny we borrowed (weddings are so expensive), I'm just thankful our big day was a success and that with the help of the Clydesdale our dream wedding became reality.

My wife had been hassling me for years about renewing and modernizing our kitchen but I don't think she quite understood just how much it actually costs to upgrade. To please my wife I had given in and decided to apply for an unsecured personal loan from Clydesdale Bank to help fund our little redesign. I had been banking with them for quite a number of years and I felt reassured in choosing to apply for a loan with them. I managed to get a decent rate and the amount I wanted to borrow, but then I've always had a pretty good credit rating so I wasn't really bothered about it that much. I originally went and visited my bank in person to get an idea of what they offered before finalising what I actually needed to borrow and the repayments I needed to make every month. After some careful planning on my part I ventured and applied online in the comfort of my own home. As I'm not overly tech-savvy I was very surprised at how intuitive the online application was to complete. They said I was approved and was also given a quote. I signed the contract and swiftly sent it back only to find the money in my account just days after. The rest is history really. The wife has her new kitchen and is delighted with it, and I'm left paying the bills. I'm very pleased with how smooth and diligently Clydesdale Bank handled my loan application. Thanks a bunch! I'm over the moon because I have to pay less than I was before per month and now I can actually envision a future where I will be clear from debt. Thankfully, applying for a personal loan at Hitachi has made my life so much easier. So all what's left to say is thank you Hitachi for being so helpful and supplying a service that has been so valuable to me.

You'll be forgiven for blinking and missing this company. Admittedly, they are not a major name on the high street, being based in Scotland, but this has actually helped them become a more customer focused bank, looking after their smaller customer base. One of the most positive pieces of feedback about Clydesdale bank actually offer loans at the advertised APR, rather than taking the opportunity to hike the APR to desperate customers or those wishing to borrow over a shorter term. So, the slightly higher than average 4.9% APR really is an investment in great customer service and a company that really appears to value those who borrow from it. Their turnaround times have been praised as being quicker than average; they pay out generally within the same week as the paperwork is signed and the customer is accepted, and for those who suddenly find their financial circumstances improving, Clydesdale have been known to only charge a fee of 58 days' interest. Their staff are also very accommodating and will generally lend the money for pretty much any reason; as long as the payments look viable and the customer can afford it, they've lent money for everything from home improvements right down to debt consolidation. This is proof that sometimes the little guy is worth a look in, and none more so than with Clydesdale.

Clydesdale is one of the leading providers of personal loan in the United Kingdom. If you are a UK resident and you are 23 years and above, you can apply for their loan. Anybody, 23 years and above is entitled to the loan. The bank demands an APR of 4.9 percents, which is a good rate. You will not be put under any limitation of what you can do with the money because you are in total control when the money is given to you.I learnt about the bank three years when I was looking for money to pay off my mortgage. I was not a customer of the bank, but a friend of mine told me about their loan facility. I am happy with the application processes because everything is done online and it is simple. I browsed through their websites and read their terms and conditions. The loan application was done online after which I got an instant approval as soon as I submitted the form. The paperwork arrived a few days later, which I also filled, signed, and submitted to them. The money arrived at my account 72 hours later. You can rely on the bank for quick money if you have an emergency. Apart from their good APR, the customer care is efficient. The application process is also simplified. You do not need to call them on the phone or to visit any of their branches to get any information from them. I have a true value for their money. The repayment period is spread for up to 5 years. If you want an early repayment, you pay an interest rate for 58 days. I recommend the bank for the efficient personal loan services.

Before I applied for a loan with this bank, I was worried because there were several negative reviews online. I still gave them a try and they surprised me. I kind of expected to be offered a higher rate than the advertised one. I needed money for a new car, and had been paying the previous one still. I heard that people with good credit rating were let down or offered a different rate. I was given the advertised interest and my application was handled professionally. Even though the bank has a bad reputation overall, the loan department is very good. People working there really know their trade, and I trusted their recommendations.I would recommend the company for people who have a good credit history, and I can confirm that the advisors are very helpful. Some people with less than perfect credit rating might have been turned down, but I am happy with the loan and the terms.

I applied for a loan after agreement in principle for £23,000 to refinance a mercedes car. The original offer was for 5% APR. We have excellent credit rate/scoring and earn very good money, the most straight forward case possible for a bank. The day after application an offer came through for acceptance stating an interest rate 25.9% APR, which puts them far worse than sub prime lenders? I am absolutely disgusted as I feel a carrot was waived to encourage my application and then an offer arrived with totally different APR which in addition was only valid for 4 hours after which I would have to apply again. It also made a point of stating the adverse affect on my credit rating of reapplying, obviously a hard sell tactic to encourage me to accept the extortionate rate of 25.9%.Avoid this bank at all costs it is a rip off.

A personal loan is not for me, I thought. With my small income of £15,500 per year I wouldn't make a chance to buy the new fishing gear I liked to put my hands on as my own gear was stolen out of the storage.'Why don't you try?' my wife asked me, while she knows in what position I'm in. She kept on hustling me all the time so I went just to talk, nothing else. The guy at the Clydesdale branch where I have two accounts listened patiently, hearing my story as if it was in the pub I was sitting. He knew what it meant to be chronically ill he said, as his dad was in the same situation as I was with lots of time during the day and nothing to do.Our conversation didn't last long, but long enough for him to promise me to see what was possible and what he could do. All to my surprise he called me by phone the other day, asking if it was possible to come to the branch's office which is just blocks away.Expecting nothing but still nervous with a heart full of unfulfilled pleasure I went off, returning home less then an hour later. My dream was fulfilled and my loss was settled.Even with my modest monthly allowance the Clydesdale gave its 'green light' with a loan of £1000 to be payed back in 24 months with an interest rate of only 4.9%. Not a bad deal at all. My thanks to the people from Clydesdale Bank who showed their respect for the sick and disabled among us in this society.

Yet me and my wife decided to take a vacation this time, after the birth of our first.Clydesdale Bank seemed to have the best offer for us taking our personal circumstances in consideration. For years it was our plan to go to the Dominican Republic as so it happened. We only needed a 3000 quid to make our dream come true. I am Zoyouff from Maroc. I'm 27 and live for six years in the UK as a permanent residence and I work in the restaurant of my father. In the beginning it was o.k to live in his house, but some years ago I started to long for my own place, preferably not in the same street as where the work is located, as this brings too much stress knowing that he, my father will call me for any occasion.Three weeks ago I found an small but suitable apartment three blocks away in the same city (London). The place turned out to be only two rooms, a kitchen and a living room, nothing else. After I quarreled with my father whom I respect very much I'd pushed through and decided to rent the place. Not much choice than to renovate I called some friends to show them my new home. Great, they said, but not so very useful in the way it was left behind. It needed an separate bedroom.None of us knows how to construct things, which means I need to hire someone to do it. Besides that I needed cash for the materials and such.It turned out to be that my father's bank (Clydesdale Bank) which I know, brought a solution. Thanks to my father who had a great contact with this bank it was relative easy for them to allow me a loan to improve the place, even knowing the apartment wasn't my property at all! The loan became quickly available, and within a week a handyman started to build a wall. He also changed the electricity and such to make things fit.Even I wasn't a customer already I am grateful for using the Clydesdale Bank's services. Now I live on my own I noticed some relief as I'm not so stressed anymore at night and have more energy during the day. Therefore I like to give the bank a positive rating.

After inheriting a substantial sum of money when my grandfather died a few years ago I resisted the urge to buy a Ferrari and did the more sensible thing by buying my first property which was a run down little terraced housed on the outskirts of Glasgow. With the couple of thousand pounds left over from the purchase I did a bit of a makeover on the place and sold it on just six months later for a nice little profit. Well I am now in the process of doing up my third property with a view to selling it on and I am only able to do so because of the personal loan from Clydesdale Bank. Up until now I have been able to rely on the profit made from the previous sale but this latest project needed more work than I had budgeted for due to unforeseen structural problems which sometime happens when you buy a property at auction. If I hadn't got the loan I would have been in a difficult situation so I am very grateful to Clydesdale Bank for processing the loan so quickly and getting the paperwork to me so that I could sign the loan agreement and get the finance I needed.

I moved to Scotland with my mum and her new partner when I was just ten years old and so I consider myself Scottish in many respects and when I got my first job and needed a bank account I just went with the same bank as my mum which was Clydesdale Bank so it was just natural for me to apply for a personal loan with them when I recently decided to get married to my long term girlfriend. We are planning to move to England with my job after the wedding but I will continue to bank with Clydesdale even after the loan is paid off as I am very satisfied with the service I have had over the past few years and in particular the way in which they handled my loan application.

When I was looking for a competitive loan company so that I could get the money to replace the windows in my flat I asked my boyfriend for his advice and he said to check out the personal loan comparison website and then narrow my search down to 3 and then shut my eyes and stick a pin in one. I thought he was joking but he was actually being serious. Anyway I took his advice as far as the comparison website and narrowing the search down to 3 but I made my final decision based purely on the lovely Scottish accent of the guy in the Clydesdale Bank customer services department but don't tell my boyfriend that!

My parents are Scottish but I was born and have lived all my life in Kent. My regular banking has always been with Barclays and it has been a reasonably satisfactory relationship. However when I started looking at personal loans I soon realised I would have to go elsewhere if I wanted the best deal and that's how I ended up with a personal loan from the Clydesdale Bank. It really had nothing to do with my Scottish heritage but in a way I am pleased because I didn't realise how patriotic I really was until Andy Murray won Wimbledon.

When I moved back to Scotland last year to be nearer to both my kids who are married and have young kiddies of their own I didn't feel the need to change my banking facilities as I had been very happy with the bank I am with and most of my banking is done online anyway. But when I decided to take out a personal loan to help my kids with some financial problems they were both experiencing I ended up choosing Clydesdale Bank over my regular bank because they were a wee bit more competitive with their interest rate charges and that's not something to be sniffed at. As any true Scotsman will tell you "Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves".

I run a little bed and breakfast place near Loch Lomond and when one of my guests left a not too flattering comment about the general decor of the bedrooms in the Guest Book I was a bit upset. However it did make me look at the place with a more critical eye and I realised the place was starting to look a bit dated and shabby and so I decided to do something about it now the Summer season is over.I applied for a personal loan with Clydesdale bank even though I wasn't a current customer of theirs but I needed to get the loan quickly so that the work could be done before my Winter guests started arriving and Clydesdale were the first to approve me a loan at a competitive rate even better than my own bank and so thats why I went with them.

I applied to the Clydesdale Bank for a personal loan to pay for some much needed home improvements. I moved to Glasgow 3 years ago with my job and still have my regular bank account with a main High Street bank in London but when I decided to get a loan I didn't bother with them after checking out the comparison website and discovering that I could get a much better deal with the Clydesdale Bank. The whole application process and approval was really fast and within a week I had the money in my bank and we are able to start our home improvements immediately thanks to the Clydesdale Bank.

I have been banking with Clydesdale Bank for many years but this is the first loan I have ever had with them. I don't have any debts so to speak and always like to pay for things as I go along and I never go overdrawn with my bank account so taking out a personal loan to help pay for my mother's care home costs was a very big thing and I was careful to get the best possible deal as I didn't want to find myself struggling with the repayments. After comparing other loan companys I realised my own bank were just as good an option so I applied to them.Clydesdale Bank were marvellous and I felt they were going way further with their efforts to get the best loan for me because of my circumstances and I just want to thank them very much for all they did in getting my loan for me.

For our forthcoming 25th wedding anniversary I wanted to surprise my wife with a trip to New York. She had always wanted to go there but our money was always being spent on the kids and the home.I don't bank with Clydesdale Bank but a friend of mine got a personal loan with them recently after finding them on the loan comparison website and he suggested I give them a try if I didn't have any luck with any of the other loan companies. After comparing Clydesdale Bank to the other main loan companies I decided they were just as competitive as the others and so I applied for the loan with them. Not only were they competitive but they were extremely fast and efficient in dealing with the whole process and I had my loan by the end of the week and was able to start planning our trip to New York.

I am not Scottish and live in the north of England and a short while back found myself in dire need of a personal loan to get my vehicle back on the road. It's a collector's piece and the workshop's quote which I found to be very reasonable was about £5000 which included the labour and the parts. I shopped around a bit and liked the look of Clydesdale Bank and thus applied online for their personal loan. The credit check was really quick and the loan was approved. The loan agreement was soon posted off and within a few days the money was put into my own bank account. Really professional. The interest rate is fixed so the 36 monthly payments are constant.Clydesdale Bank is Highly recommendable.

I was rather nervous at the thought of borrowing such a large amount of money but the package that Clydesdale Bank put together for me was very straightforward and I knew I wouldn't have any problems with the repayments which had been my main concern. Until I had checked out the personal loans comparison website I didn't realise that there was such a wide choice of loan options and I am glad to say my choice of Clydesdale Bank is the ideal one for me.

I don't bank with Clydesdale Bank for my day to day banking needs but after the superb service and treatment I received from them when I applied for a personal loan recently I am seriously considering a move to them for all my banking requirements. Over the years I have had several disputes with my regular bank and I have never really felt they were sympathetic to my occasional cash flow problems and it is for that reason that I looked elsewhere for a personal loan when I wanted to borrow several thousand pounds to pay towards my daughters wedding. Clydesdale Bank were offering just the right deal for me and they were very helpful right from the start. Customer service is a very important part of banking and Clydesdale Bank seem to appreciate that fact.

Clydesdale Bank have just approved my personal loan and I am very relieved as I felt sure my past credit history would go against me as it had done with previous loan applications over recent years. I was beginning to think I would have to resort to the less favourable loan companies to be able to borrow the money I needed.Like a lot of people i had got into a bit of debt with credit cards and it took me several years to get myself back on track and Clydesdale Bank seemed to understand my circumstances and were very good in advising me on the best loan package for my needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

When my husband was alive he did a marvellous job of keeping our little bungalow well maintained and in good decorative order but sadly since his death 5 years ago the place had become a bit neglected and I didn't have family nearby to help with the work that needed to be done. My neighbour suggested getting someone to come and do the work but I explained that I only worked part time and didn't think I could afford it without getting a loan. So she said she had just got a loan with the Clydesdale bank and she explained that I fitted the requirements as I earned enough. So thanks to her and Clydesdale Bank I have my little bungalow looking very smart again and the loan repayments are very easy for me to manage.

But they also know that when it comes to borrowing money I am very responsible and will always do my research before committing to any loan agreement. Which is why my current loan is with Clydesdale Bank who were simply offering the best deal for my particular requirements and that is the beauty of being able to go online and check out all the loan options before making your choice. So with our daughters help we went online and looked at the personal loan comparison website and that is how we arrived at Clydesdale Bank as our choice. I have been banking with the Clydesdale Bank since leaving university and so it made sense to go to them first when I needed a personal loan. I have used other banks and loan companies for smaller loans over the past few years but when I wanted to borrow a much larger sum of money I felt happier going to the bank that knew my personal finances better and would therefore be able to approve a loan for me that would not stretch my finances too much each month. The last thing I wanted was to be struggling with the repayments over a long period and Clydesdale Bank made sure that would not be the case. Sometimes it is better to stick with the bank that you know best and who knows you as well.

Now that most loan companies provide an online application service it has become much easier to find a competitive loan for your particular requirements. Most people who are computer literate will have have done some shopping online and so shopping for a loan shouldn't be any different.I am glad we have that option because as I live in Cornwall I would be pretty much limited in my options for a personal loan without the internet and the loan comparison website in particular and I doubt I would have ended up with my very competitive personal loan from Clydesdale Bank had it not been for their website.I will always use the comparison website first before choosing a loan company but for the moment Clydesdale Bank have ticked all the right boxes for me and that is why I chose them.

I dread to think how much longer it would have taken without the help of this facility.Clydesdale Bank isn't a million miles away from where I live but I certainly wouldn't have considered them for a loan with the benefit of reading their online profile first. In this day and age there is no excuse for limiting yourself to local banks or high street stores for your loan when the internet makes it possible for you to end up with a loan that is right for you regardless of where they are based in the UK.I am very satisfied with my loan from the Clydesdale Bank and would certainly give them a thumbs up for their great service and speedy application process.

Gone are the days when you just went to your local bank for a loan and hoped your bank manager was in a good mood that day.I have had several loans in recent years and the Clydesdale Bank loan is the first one that I did without my husband's help and that was because this loan was for me to be able to buy him a very special 60th birthday present and I didn't want him finding out about it until the big day.

I didn't just choose to apply for a loan with the Clydesdale Bank because my parents have been customers of theirs for many years but it did help me to make my final decision after comparing several loan options on the loan comparison website and then narrowing it down to 3.The fact that I live and work in London was making me think that I should go with a London based loan company but then I realised that the loan application was pretty much the same for all the loans I was considering as most of it would be done online anyway and the only difference was I would be returning the signed paperwork to Glasgow instead of London. So in the end I went with the Clydesdale Bank loan and told my parents it was because they clearly had more of an influence on my judgement when it came to money than they realised.

We have three children and every time we thought about tying the knot we would get as far as choosing a suitable venue and then something would crop up and we would have to use the money for other more pressing things, usually to do with children.Well this time we are definitely going ahead with it and the loan we have just got from the Clydesdale Bank came about when we decided on a Scottish castle for our reception and then spotted the Clydesdale Banks profile on the loan comparison website. So we will be celebrating our wedding and seeing in the New Year or hogmanay as the Scots like to call it, in a beautiful castle in the Highlands of Scotland and I am so pleased we got our loan from the Clydesdale Bank which kind of makes it an all round Scottish affair I think.

I have found out with my recent experience of getting a personal loan that it is a bit of a swings and roundabouts kind of thing, and if you get a loan that appears to fulfil all your requirements the chances are you have compromised something along the way.My recent loan with the Clydesdale Bank isn't 100% what I was looking for but the most important thing for me was I have been banking with them since I left school at 16 and started college and I am still only just 18. So to be able to borrow the money I have just been given by the Clydesdale Bank was without a doubt the best reason for using their loan facility and I do think that being an existing customer of theirs means they have my best interests at heart when they approved the loan.

I am so glad that modern day technology allows us to do a lot of things through the internet and in particular, I am grateful that I was able to apply for a personal loan online instead of having to go cap in hand to my bank or worse still some other kind of loan company that would make me very nervous as I am not very good at dealing with people I haven't met before and would probably make a mess of things. So by looking at a loan comparison website and giving a few loan options considerable thought I eventually decided on the Clydesdale Bank and proceeded to make my online application. I was delighted and somewhat relieved when they gave me an instant online approval but was still anxious until the paperwork arrived in the post a few days later. I needn't have been too worried because within 2 days of returning the paperwork my bank account was credited with the loan amount and I was able to go ahead with the reason for the loan which was to pay for a splendid cruise for me and my elderly mum who is still active enough to want to go on cruises at the ripe old age of 89.

I live in Yorkshire but I have had previous dealings with the Clydesdale bank when I was younger and working in the hotel industry.I am semi retired now but still like to keep busy and my part time job at our local pub sees to that and so does my wife who has been nagging me for months to get some DIY jobs done around the house. I have done most of them but there are some jobs that I don't and won't touch with a barge pole and that is anything to do with water or electrics. So you can see why I needed to get a loan to pay someone else to fit our new bathroom with it's fancy state of the art electric shower. One of the regulars at the pub where I work is a canny old scotsman and he recommended the Clydesdale Bank and because I had had dealings with them before I decided to give them a try and they turned out to be a good choice for me for various reasons. The money has just been transferred to my bank account and work on the new bathroom starts next week but I shall be keeping well out of it and its down to the wife to keep the builder on his toes.

My job as a sales rep takes me all over the British Isles and so for that reason I don't really feel too much loyalty to any particular area especially as my extended family live all over the place which makes getting together for Christmas and things a bit of a nightmare.I happened to be in Scotland at the same time as my brother when we arranged to meet each other outside a branch of the Clydesdale Bank and that's when he told me about the great loan he had just got from them. He explained that he had made the initial application online but as he was visiting Glasgow for a business conference he thought he'd just check out one of their branches to see what they were like in the flesh so to speak.Well he still seemed fairly impressed with Clydesdale Bank so much so that when I told him I was looking to get a personal loan too he insisted I give them a try. I am not sure if we have a future together but for the present time I am really enjoying being with him and when he asked me to move in with him I said yes.So my loan with the Clydesdale bank is to basically make my boyfriends disgusting bachelor flat more habitable and that means a complete makeover if I am to ever feel relaxed and comfortable enough to invite any of my friends over for dinner. My boyfriend banks with the Clydesdale and so I took his recommendation to get a loan from them as despite his chaotic living conditions he has quite a good business head on him. I was desperate to get a personal loan to help my daughter when she split up from the father of her little boy who is only two and doesn't really understand what is going on with his parents at the moment. My daughter had tried herself to get a loan to pay the bills that were mounting up but unfortunately her credit history is very bad and her part time job isn't paying enough for her to be able to meet the requirements of the majority of the banks and loan companies. I made her promise me not to get any more payday short term loans because they would just create more problems for her in the long term.So as a single parent myself albeit with all the children grown up now, and a well paid job it was down to me to get a loan to help her out and because I have banked with the Clydesdale Bank for several years I just felt happier going to them especially as their interest rates are amongst the lowest of all the loans I looked at online.I borrowed just enough to see her through the next few months until Christmas and then we will have to see how things go but at least I know I can rely on a loan from the Clydesdale Bank as long as my own financial position doesn't change too much in the near future.

At the end of the day a loan is a loan regardless of how it is advertised and marketed. So when I needed the money to buy a new car I didn't go straight to car finance when I was looking on the comparison websites. I just decided how much money I needed over what period of repayment time and who could lend it to me the quickest at a rate of interest that I was prepared to pay and that is how I ended up with a personal loan from the Clydesdale Bank.I am not suggesting for one minute that this is the best way of approaching the task of getting a loan but it works for me and the great deal I got with the Clydesdale Bank is proof of that.

After my parents divorced I moved back to Scotland with my mum as that is where she was born and most of her family still live there. However I still like to visit my dad as often as I can and up until he retired last year he always insisted on paying my fares when I did visit.Well Dad retiring has meant that he doesn't have quite so much spare cash and that means that either I don't visit so often or I pay for my own fares and after working out some figures I decided it would be better if I bought myself a car and drove down to see my dad each time.So with mum's help I applied online for a personal loan with the Clydesdale Bank as both me and my mum bank with them and I was really happy when the approved my loan. Every year at this time I take out a personal loan to borrow enough money to give my three daughters a nice little sum of money to help them with expense of Christmas. All three of them have children of their own and I know only too well how much it can mount up to when you are shopping for food and presents.Initially I gave them the money just before Christmas but by that time they had done most of their shopping and their credit card bills were proof of that. So now I let them have the money after their summer holiday is over with but in plenty of time for them to start Christmas shopping.Maybe it is my Scottish upbringing that made me choose a loan with the Clydesdale Bank but the fact that they have one of the lowest interest rates is probably the real reason and you don't have to be Scottish to appreciate that.

I borrowed £7500 from Clydesdale Bank last month to buy a lovely boat to go fishing in the dam with my kids. Its something we all enjoy and we spend quality time together when the weather is good. I have wanted to do this for a few years now, so I applied on line and was happy to see that the repayments did not cripple me, in fact I can afford them with ease. Not even £150 over 60 months! Its worth it, considering all the fun we will have. I felt it was better to stretch the payments over a long period of time so that I don't feel it at month end. As I am 33 years old and earn a very comfortable salary I was entitled to the loan and it was approved with no delay. I can't say anything against this bank so far and hope never to in the future.

My best friend was refused a loan by Clydesdale and she was most upset as she earns more than£2000 per month. She is an air hostess and therefore has a good solid job, just like I do, as we, in fact, work together for the same company. When I decided to take out a loan of £6000 to buy myself a car, the loan was authorised over a 36 month period and in no time the yes answer was given. At first I felt they were inefficient as it made no sense, but then I realised why she had been denied and not I. The reason was that I'm 25 years old and she is 22. Clydesdale only lend to people older than 23 years old...so no point even trying if you are younger. Very strict and unfair I think...but its their rules I guess... Personally I have no complaints but can understand other having them!

I'm a retired business man and I've earned good money most of my life. I'm now on pension but the money I receive allows me to enjoy life and travel. I also have savings but like my money to work for me, so feel that sometimes its better to borrow than to touch your capital. This is why, when we decided to go travelling for 2 months across the USA, I made the choice to get funds from Clydesdale. I borrowed £7000 from them and agreed to repay them over 5 years so that the instalments are low and easy to pay back. I am 66 years old so have plenty time, I hope , to pay it back. Good bank and fair interest rates. With the help of my daughter I applied on line as that part of technology is not my strong point.

My car was paid for in cash so I have no debt. This is why I accepted to go on a 3 week cruise with my flat mates and let my hair down. The easiest was to borrow the money so not to touch my own. I applied on line with Clydesdale for £3000 and offered to pay the loan back over 36 months. Being 28 years old and earning well above what Clydesdale requests, I guess I was a candidate to receive the loan. Indeed they approved it and the best part is that at anytime I can pay it off before the time, provided I pay the 58 day interest charge, which is understandable.

The only drawback to the loan I got from the Clydesdale Bank was the whole signing and posting the paperwork. But considering the fact that I got a very competitive deal with the Clydesdale, 4.9% APR to be precise, I suppose it was a small inconvenience in comparison to not getting the loan at all!Thats the sort of stuff my wife would normally do for me but because this loan was to pay for a surprise holiday for the wife and myself to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary I couldn't ask her to post the paperwork without arousing her suspicions.Once the loan was confirmed and the money was in my account, the next covert operation was booking the holiday without the wife finding out. That wasn't as difficult because I am one of those old fashioned people that still like to use the services of a traditional travel agent and we have a very good one next door to where I work so problem solved!

Without the loan from the Clydesdale Bank I would not have been able to get over to America to see my brother before he passed away. We hadn't seen each other for several years and when he became seriously ill a few months back I had no idea it was so bad until the dreaded phone call in the middle of the night to say he was deteriorating fast. The next morning after that call I got straight on to the Clydesdale who had been my bank for the passt 10 years and applied for a personal loan. I don't know if they made a special effort just for me, but within less than a week I had the loan and was booking my flight to the States.I managed to get to spend a few days with my brother before he finally passed away and I just want to thank the Clydesdale Bank for helping me out at such a sad and difficult time.

This is the second personal loan I have had from the Clydesdale Bank in the past 5 years and even though I don't remember what the APR on the first loan was back then, I do remember that it was the right loan for me personally at that time.I did look at a few other loan options this time before going back to the Clydesdale Bank and they were as competitive as the Clydesdale Bank with regards to the APR but they just didn't seem to suit my personal circumstances. I just wanted another loan like the first one, albeit at today's APR of 4.9%, which may or may not be better than 5 years ago but the terms and conditions were the same and that's what suited me then and suits me now.

As I wanted to make some home improvements I thought getting a personal loan would be a good idea. I did some research and looked on the Readies comparison website to help me decide which loan company to apply to. There are so many options out there the comparison website was very helpful in making my decision.Being able to make early repayment was a bonus I thought and the fact that, if approved, the money would be in my account immediately. So I applied on line and did the paperwork. Sent it off signed and completed and the money was paid into my account in a couple of days, pretty cool process.

I applied for a personal loan so that I could replace some electrical equipment in my home that was old and worn out, things don't last forever. I didn't want stuff going wrong all at the same time. I looked on line for information and where to get the best deal. I found the Readies comparison site great and helpful and decided upon Clydesdale Bank. The process for applying for the loan was pretty simple and I was able to see what interest rate I would receive and what the repayments would be. Both the interest rate and repayments suited my budget so I processed the application and after being accepted, signed and mailed the forms. It did not take long for the money to reach my account so I was able to go shopping and hit the sales without using a credit card.

After years of being content with the house we bought and raised our children in my wife suddenly decided that she was fed up with it, mainly the kitchen and said she would give up cooking altogether if I didn't do something about getting her a nice new one.I knew I wouldn't get another minutes peace until she got what she wanted and so I got straight on to my local Clydesdale Bank branch and asked to speak to someone about getting a loan. In the meantime the wife was busy looking at new kitchens on the internet. The loan adviser was very helpful and once he had all my personal details he was able to give me an immediate quote based on the amount I wanted to borrow but at a rate he felt was within my affordability. By the time we had finished our call I was able to give the wife the go ahead to start looking at kitchens within the price range of our new loan and as soon as the paperwork is signed and delivered back to the Clydesdale our money should be in our account within 24 hours. So hopefully we should have the new kitchen before Christmas and I will be getting peace and quiet again which will be the best Christmas present ever.

I felt I should post a review to say how happy I have been with the recent dealings I had with Clydesdale Bank regarding my application for a personal loan. It had been quite a while since I used my bank for anything other than the usual withdrawals and bill paying so I was a bit out of touch with how to go about taking out a personal loan for this sort of money. After making use of the loan comparison website to get an idea of what is the current average APR rate I decided to deal directly with my local branch and see if they could offer me a loan with a competitive APR., ideally the 4.9% they were advertising on their website.I am very pleased to say they were able to offer that rate and also work out a repayment plan that was very convenient and affordable for me and now that my loan is up and running with the money in my account I just wanted to say thank you to the Clydesdale for a very good personal service.

I took out a personal loan with the Clydesdale Bank so that I could do some much needed repairs on my house before selling it and downsizing to a property more suited to my needs now that I am widowed and my children are all grown up and off leading their own lives. On the advice of the Estate Agent I needed to get the kitchen and bathroom modernised in order to get the maximum asking price and the Clydesdale Bank were more than happy to give me the loan for that purpose. They also pointed out the benefits of being able to make a full or part repayment of the loan should I sell my property sooner rather than later. As I have already had a lot of interest in the house I think I may well be taking up that option. But in the meantime I am just glad I can get the work done and sell my house for its maximum price which will be much more than the cost of the loan which means it was a very sensible thing to do.

My husband left me for another woman after 5 years of marriage but as he had turned out to be a bully and an alcoholic I decided he had done me the biggest favour of my life.I wanted to make a fresh start and that meant renting a different flat and furnishing it with new things as I didn't want anything that reminded me of him. So I had to get a loan and because I had been with the Clydesdale Bank long before I ever met my husband I felt confident approaching them for the loan.Being able to make the application online helped because it meant I could avoid any awkward questions from the staff at my local branch. So now it has been 3 months since my husband left and 2 weeks since I applied for my loan and I have just put down the deposit and first month's rent on my new flat and I am busy looking at new furniture with the bed being top of the list.I have my new flat, a great job and great friends and life couldn't be better for me so I just wanted to post this review to say to everyone in my situation that every cloud has a silver lining and I'm proof of that.

I never would have thought that I would get a personal loan from the Clydesdale Bank because I thought living way down south in Hampshire might go against me. But of course I was just being a bit paranoid because the Clydesdale Bank website clearly states that their loans can be available to anyone in the UK.Then I thought I wouldn't be approved the loan with the Clydesdale because I had only just turned 23 but that was just my paranoia kicking in againWith all this doubt and paranoia I'm not sure why I continued with the application for the loan. But I am so glad that I did because they have just approved my loan at an APR not to be sniffed at and the repayments are not going to be a problem for me at all unless my boss decide's to reduce my salary or worse still give me the sack. But that's just my paranoia again and I really should try to do something about it.

England had just got knocked out of the Rugby World Cup and Scotland were still holding on in there so I didn't think it was a good time to tell my husband that I had just got us a very competitive loan from the Clydesdale Bank.I had been left with the task of finding us a suitable loan to pay for the new kitchen and because I really wanted a new kitchen in time for Christmas I was prepared to ignore the very obvious sexist thinking behind my husband's request.Well I am fairly sure my husband has recovered from England's humiliating early exit from the rugby and so I have told him about the loan and he said I should have told him earlier so that he could have cheered Scotland on a bit more. I have a brilliant/excellent credit file according to experience and Equifax. Clydesdale offering loans at 3.7% APR. I was offered 8.4% APR was advised this was because they couldn't see my everyday banking habits! To which I replied that your advert doesn't stipulate that I have to bank with you to receive that rate. Then I was told that the rate was deter end by underwriters; at 11pm at night! Will be submitting a complaint about the interest rate decision to Clydesdale as it is completely unfair. It's about time the loan system changed in the UK. If banks can't gaurantee rates on the information you provide before a search is completed then it should be able to complete an application. Representative APR should be abolished.

I needed a loan to payoff my divorce solicitor, the court fees and everything else, what a chore. Life is never simple but fortunately when I decided to apply for a loan with the Clydesdale Bank, I started to see the wood for the trees and life got better. What a great lender to work with, very professional and understanding. The application process was not stressful. I applied on line and based on my circumstances and credit was offered an instant decision. The interest rate and terms of repayment were pretty good and my budget could handle the plan. I signed the documents and sent them off immediately. Within the week, I received a response and was informed the money was in my bank account. Fantastic, life was turning around and I could put this issue to bed.

Although I am based in London, I was not sure if I would be successful in applying for a loan with the Clydesdale Bank. From the information I read on line it seemed it was not a problem so I figured I should try and borrow the money I needed to finance the trip I had promised the wife for her birthday.I went on line and looked at the criteria I needed to meet, that seemed to be okay. I filled in the forms and was pleased to see the interest rate was pretty reasonable, the repayment amount was doable and the term over which I would pay it back. So accepted the proposal and waited for feedback. The process for this loan was fairly simple and not mind-bending, the decision came back pretty quickly. All I had to do was sign the paperwork and send it off in the mail. Within a few days the money was paid into my bank account. I am a very happy customer.

The most important aspects of a loan for me are a competitive APR that is fixed for the duration of the loan and, of course, easily affordable monthly repayments. As I spend most of my working life on the computer and do all my banking online, it really didn't matter what lender I got the loan from. They could be as local as my own high street or in Outer Mongolia so long as they could provide those important loan requirements. So I don't know why all my friends, who really should know me better, are so surprised that I got my personal loan from Clydesdale Bank. I simply told them that the Clydesdale Bank gave me a very competitive loan that fulfilled all my requirements and because it was all done online it required no more effort than if I'd just gone to my regular high street bank. My friends really do need to start learning to think 'outside of the box'!

I don't know what it is about banks in general that make me nervous but the fact is they do and that is probably why I have hardly ever stepped foot in my local branch of the Clydesdale even though I have had an account with them since leaving school 4 years ago.Like most people of my age I am far more comfortable with the internet when it comes to banking and stuff that involves my money. So when I needed to get a personal loan I didn't even think about going to the Clydesdale for it. I went on to one of the loan comparison websites and started searching there. In the end I actually ended up getting my loan with the Clydesdale Bank at a really good rate and affordable repayments so I just wanted to say thanks to them and maybe I will pop into my local branch one day just to see what I have been missing all this time.

The Clydesdale Bank have just approved my personal loan and I thought I would take this opportunity to comment on the service I received when applying for the loan.Firstly, I had a few problems with the online application but after a call to their Customer Services department a very nice lady helped to sort the queries out and then processed the loan for me. She also explained that I would need to print and sign the paperwork before returning it to them. I hadn't thought about that and was grateful for the reminder. The second and most important point of my review is to say that I am delighted with the overall loan and in particular the very affordable monthly repayments. If I could change one thing about the whole experience it would be avoiding the use of my printer which was a very frustrating experience because it ran out of ink halfway through the process and its my own fault for not getting one of those new laser printers my son keeps going on about.

Thanks to the personal loan I have just got from the Clydesdale Bank I can make a long standing wish of my wife's come true.Courtesy of the Clydesdale Bank we are flying to Australia and to Sydney in particular so that my wife can visit the opera house and more importantly do the amazing walk along the top of the harbour bridge. It is something she has wanted to do for several years and as we are both not far off our retirement I thought she should do it while she is still young and fit enough.Personally I have a terrible fear of heights and so I shall be very much on ground level taking pictures of it with the zoom lens of my camera but I am just delighted that my wife will be living out her dream at long last.

In the Uk there are many loan companies, so much so that it is not an easy choice to opt for the fairest one, this I found out when I needed £5000 to make home improvements. I went on line to readies.co.uk at the recommendation of a friend and used the loan calculator to compare all the different deals offered. Clydesdale Bank caught my attention as the interest was one of the lowest, it was a well known institution and thinking back I remembeted my brother praising them for some dealing he had had with them previously. The application process was simple, and their decision quick. Up until now everything has been as stated so Im happy with my choice.

We know that our parents told us all , that this Xmas they could not afford it...and we should forget it, but last night we overheard them chat in the kitchen with our aunt, bragging about how great it was that Clydesdale Bank had given them the loan and how impressed they were that the decision had been instant and the interest so low. They were sipping wine and really happy to be able to surprise"us. We know its the first time they take out a loan so we are very touched that they would do it for us. Thank you Clydesdale for giving our parents a good deal. We will pretend to be surprised !

I filled in an online application to borrow £3000 from Clydesdale Bank, as I needed it to help my sister who was getting divorced and wanted to move into her own apartment and buy some furnisher. She has no credit history as has never needed to ask for credit, due to the fact that her husband provided for everything and she only ever worked part time.Until the divorce settlement came through she would be pretty much broke.I opted for Clydesdale as I did read that if possible I could pay back the loan before the time, paying only 58 days interest.I knew this was bound to happen, when she repayed me, after she received the settlement and as this option was not available with most banks, I decided to use Clydesdale. They were very efficient and helpful. The loan was approved and within 4 days the cash was in my bank account. No complaints.

With winter around the corner and the cold weather making itself felt, it was time to buy a closed fireplace. The cost was just over £1000 and as Xmas is upon us, I wanted to keep my savings to buy Xmas presents. This meant I was in need of a loan. I compared various banks but liked the sound of Clydesdale Bank and what they offered. The interest rate appeared to be one of the lowest around and it was fixed, so these 2 points combined, convinced me to apply with them. The application was straightforward and simple. I am 26 years old and therefore although I did not have a current account with Clydesdale, I qualified to apply with them. My loan was given and I am grateful that they were so helpful.

Im a 19 year old young man who have been working for the last 18 months. I earn very good money as I work as the floor manager for my uncles company, and do manage to save a good 10% of my wages. I had my first holiday in September this year and wanted it to be special, one I would never forget. I decided to go to Brasil on my 2 week holiday and take my younger brother with. The holiday would cost close to £3000, so as I only had £1500 saved up I felt I should apply for a personal loan, rather than borrow from my parents. Clydesdale seemed a good institution to apply with and considering I bank with them, I did. I took out the loan over 24 months, understanding that at anytime I can pay it off with only a small early payment fee. I would like to thank Clydesdale for approving my application, athough I´m young. I will not let them down.

A couple of years ago my brother took out a loan with a well known bank. He paid them back the loan over 48 months, but I remember him being annoyed often as he claimed that his installments were forvever changing. This summer when I needed to take out a personal loan of £4000, I went and speak to him, to know which bank NOT to approach. It is obvious to me that if I take out a loan, I need to know excatly what my monthly commitments are, so I can organise my finances. I wasn´t going to make the same mistake my brother did, borrowing from a bank that base their interest rate on the Bank of Englands rates, as that way it can go down but also up, from month to month. This is the main reason why I applied with Clydesdale and also because the rates were lower than most banks. I think these 2 points need to be considered when borrowing.

I am a 24 year old lady and I live in Dublin. Im therefore not Scottish, so one wonders why I should apply for a loan with a Scottish bank. To be honest all that is unimportant to me! I would apply for a loan with a Japanese bank if I could and if the benefits were good. So Clydesdale is the bank I chose, due to the lower interest fixed rate and their early payoff policy that comes with only a 58 days interest fee. I was happy enough with the way they work as they granted me the £2000 in a few days with absolutely no burocracy. I will be paying Clydesdale back over 24 months and just wanted to share my experience with others.

I am a receptionist for a lawyers firm and earn more than £2000 per month so I can not complain. However easy come easy go. I admit I have expensive taste and buy the best of clothes and make up. It was decided by most of us at the office to go to the Portuguese island of Madeira to spend 1 week including New Years eve, as we had heard the firework displays at New Years eve are really impressive. My work colleagues booked into a 5 star hotel and of course I did too. The hotel and trip was more than £1500 and I didnt have the cash. I was against using my credit card, so I applied on line with Clydesdale for £2000. On the application I offered to pay it back in 12 months, but was advised to pay over 24 months, so as not to be under any stress. As it was a possibility to pay the loan off at anytime, I accepted. The loan was approved. I signed the documentation, signed and posted back to Clydesdale and 4 days later the cash was available. It all went smoothly.

I am a 22 year old male who live in London. I have a steady well paid job and recently felt extremely offended as I applied for a personal loan of £3000 with Clydesdale and it was refused. Why would they? I wondered? The answer to my question was soon answered...I was not 23 years old and did not bank with Clydesdale! Their policy states that if you are younger than 23 and not their client you cannot be given a loan. I therefore opened a current account with Clydesdale and re-applied. Lo and behold the loan was approved and upon signature and returning the agreement I received the cash. So now the cat is out the bag. Before we get annoyed we should read the rules of the different banks. My fault. I apologise Clydesdale.

I realised this as my cousin banks with them but I dont, so was concerned that I would be knocked back for this reason, but fortunately they treated me well and considered my application. I only opted for them as my cousin likes how they work and what they offer. I requested £3000 to go on a 2 week holiday with my girfriend and after applying on line, they approved the loan, I then signed the agreement, posted it to Clydesdale and soon thereafter received the cash. They were quick in their decision although Im not a client so I guess they must be well organised. They were professional.

I´m not Scottish but I like to work with Clydesdale. They have been my bank for the last 6 years and so far I have no fingers to point at them. It was the first time that I approached them for a loan, as this far I´ve not needed any financial assitance. Sadly my car broke down and the engine ceased, so I had to pay a huge mechanical bill. This meant asking for a personal loan of £3000, which was heartbreaking, but no other choice. I can thank Clydesdale, as. in the middle of the bad luck they were very fair, giving me a good fixed interest rate and allowing me to pay over 5 years. I will however try to pay it before the time as I understand that I´m allowed to, and will only be charged with 58 days interest charges. They are probably one of the fairest banks around to borrow from.

I know how frustrating it can be when one borrows money from a Bank who is linked directly to the interest rate fluctuations of the bank of England, as your installements go up and down like a yo-yo.Very bad as one never knows exactly where they stand. It happened to us with our mortgage. When we decided to take out a personal loan this summer, we were careful to find a bank that offered fixed interest rates.Clydesdale Bank was one of the 3 banks we found offering this.We read some comments from other borrowers and it sounded like they were OK to work with, so we took a gamble and applied for the £5000 we needed with them. They didnt ask for our house as collateral but just verified carefully all the information we gave them as well as our credit history. As we are not black listed, are good payers and earn more than the £15000 per year that they require, our loan was given in a short period of time. The installemnts so far have been exactly the same over the last 3 months, so it appears that they are on the level. Good to see.

A couple of months ago I needed to apply for a personal loan. I went on line and did some comparisons on the readies.co.uk website to try chose the best bank for me. It was a hard job. I´m a 25 year old lady who had never applied for credit, so felt that I was a little out of my depht as this was so new to me. The procedure was simple enough but chosing the best suited bank was not. Eventually I went with Clydesdale because I saw that they did not use flexible interest rates. They did not link the loan to the base interest rate of the bank of England, thus it was a fixed rate, which interested me. Also I could, If the possibility arose, pay the loan off before the due time, with a small interest charge. Based on this, I applied for the £3000 I needed over 36 months and hoped for the best. The good news came soon. My loan was approved. I have no fingers to point at this bank.

It is Xmas time and I want to buy my girfriend a small car as a Xmas present. Not willing to spend my savings, I made the decision to apply for a loan. Clydesdale Bank seemed to offer an acceptable interest rate, fixed and with the possibility of one paying off the personal loan before the time, so I gathered that this would be a good bank to apply with. The loan of £6000 was approved instantly. I signed the paperwork after reading it carefully and posted it back to Clydesdale. The funds were made available within 4 days. Good bank, I think. I guess not many people apply for a loan to then go lend that money to someone else...but that is the reason why I applied for £2000! My best friend was in some financial trouble and is blacklisted so can´t borrow at the moment. As I trust her, and know that she actually can afford to pay the loan but no bank will help...I decided to apply myself and she pays me back. Clydesdale seemed like a good enough bank to apply with, so I went on line, filled on the application ,answering al the questions and was rather taken aback when they approved the loan instantly. I guess the fact that I have a good credit rating and earn more than £1800 per month, helped. Im paying them back over 24 months. I´m impressed that it was so easy and uncomplicated. I recommend this bank. Hope everyone is as lucky as I was. Tks to Clydesdale I was able to help my friend.

After much consideration my wife and I decided to apply for a loan to help our son and his wife get their foot on to the property ladder before their first baby is born next year. they have been living in rented accommodation since they got married 2 years ago and they have been struggling to save money for a deposit to buy their own place.Being canny Scots we didn't like the idea of them wasting their hard earned money each month on paying rent so we decided to give them the money for a deposit to buy their own place. He is our only son and we have no one else to spend our money on so we are happy to do so.Thanks to the Clydesdale we have been able to borrow enough money for the deposit and the monthly repayments for us are well within our affordability. It wont be too long before our loan is paid off and hopefully by then our son and his 'family' will be settled into their own wee home.

In my opinion borrowing money from the Clydesdale Bank on a fixed rate basis is the ideal way for me to afford some of the things that would otherwise be out of my reach.I like to change my car regularly and take my wife on the occasional cruise holiday and that is why I prefer to take out the occasional personal loan rather than have to save up for things. Life is too short as I am continually telling my wife and I have to say she does tend to agree with me.We are very happy with the current personal loan we have just taken out with the Clydesdale Bank and thought it would be nice to say so publicly. I wasn't in a particular rush to get the loan but it would have been ideal to get the loan sorted before the new year.I have to say I was very impressed with the speedy and efficient way that Clydesdale Bank dealt with my application and that in itself deserves to be commended. Furthermore, they gave me a very competitive APR on the loan and also set out a repayment plan that was affordable and convenient for me.I don't think I could have asked for more from any lender and I would most definitely recommend Clydesdale Bank to others looking for a similar loan.

I haven't lived in Scotland for many years but I know all about the Clydesdale Bank and their excellent reputation and so it didn't take much to persuade me to apply to them for this current personal loan. Lots of my family in Scotland bank with the Clydesdale Bank and that's as good a recommendation as any in my book.As I am using the money to renovate my late father's home in Glasgow it seemed appropriate to borrow the money from a bank he would have been happy to recommend himself, fine praise indeed if you had ever met my late father! My journey up to Scotland this weekend is not just to finalise the paperwork and get the loan up and running but also to see family and old friends and it is nice that I can combine the two.

My boyfriend took out a personal loan last year to pay for our holiday in the Seychelles and this year it is my turn and I don't mind admitting I had everything crossed metaphorically speaking when I applied for this loan in case I didn't get it. I had a couple of other loan companies in mind if this loan with Clydesdale Bank didn't come off but i am delighted to say they weren't required because the Clydesdale have done me proud yet again and approved a great loan for me. We are off to the Seychelles again in a few weeks time to soak up some much needed winter sunshine and I wanted to say thanks to the Clydesdale for making it possible yet again.

Deciding to propose to my girlfriend on Christmas Day was a dumb idea, not the proposal but doing it over Christmas. The few friends I told about my plans were quick to warn me that the aforementioned girlfriend would still be expecting a nice little pile of presents under the tree and as I had all but emptied my bank account buying the engagement ring I had to resort to getting a small loan to be able to buy several more presents than I hadn't originally budgeted for. I didn't get much sympathy from my parents when I confided in them about my dilemma and they once again took the opportunity to remind me that when they were young all they got from Santa was a an orange, some nuts and small toy in their Christmas stocking. I can just imagine my girlfriends face if I gave her that and it really doesn't bear thinking about!

No amount of willpower was going to help me save enough money in time for the all important annual ski trip that I go on most years with my pals. Even though I earn a very reasonable salary I just can't seem to save any of it each month. However, what I can do is afford to take out the occasional loan and that is what I have opted to do this year. The Clydesdale Bank have very kindly allowed me to borrow enough to pay for the ski trip and clear all my credit card bills. That means I will be seeing in the New Year with just this one loan which has been tailored to suit me nicely. Once that monthly repayment is made I shall do what I have been doing all my working life and that is enjoying myself with what's left of my hard earned money each month.

What I like most about the Clydesdale Bank is that the personal loan I have just been approved doesn't come with a whole load of provisos. Unlike a lot of the lenders, the Clydesdale Bank aren't really bothered about what you want the loan for. Their main concern is that you are able to afford the repayments without compromising your regular financial commitments and that is as far as their responsibility as a lender needs to go in their opinion and I wholeheartedly agree with them on that point. I think we have more than enough, red tape and bureaucracy in life without adding to it unnecessarily. So, if like me you are looking for a competitive loan without a load of unnecessary terms and conditions, then I would recommend the Clydesdale Bank.

I took out this loan with the Clydesdale Bank as it was the only way to solve my current predicament which was lots of family to buy Christmas presents for and not a lot of cash to do it with.I earn a fairly decent salary and I would be able to afford all these presents if I didn't pay my bills and eat for a couple of months but that would just be silly. So I have taken the sensible route and asked the Clydesdale Bank for a loan and they have very kindly said yes. I wonder if there was a bit of Seasonal Goodwill behind their decision?Anyway, one good thing that has come out of this is that I have borrowed enough to pay for my next summer holiday and I have also made up my mind to inform all the family that after this Christmas I shall be buying all next years presents from the Pound Shop.

Even though I am in full time employment with a job that pays quite a bit above the average wage I still need to rely on the occasional loan. Every 3 or 4 years something crops up that requires a bit of financial input from me that is way beyond what I can spare from my monthly salary.Fortunately, as well as having a well paid job I also have a very understanding and obliging bank who have been able to facilitate me with several competitive personal loans in recent years. My car, my new kitchen and now my holiday of a lifetime to Australia to visit friends and family are all due to the loans the Clydesdale Bank have given me.I have been a customer of Clydesdale Bank since leaving school and getting my first job, but you don't have to be a customer of theirs to apply for a loan. I have recently recommended them to a number of friends who were looking for loans to get them through financial difficulties. I certainly wouldn't recommend Clydesdale Bank to anyone if I didn't think they were up to scratch when it comes to competing with the vast number of other lenders that are available.

I had been shopping around for a newer car and did not want to use my savings. I did not like the interest rate that the car dealerships were offering from their lenders so decided to ask the bank for a personal loan. I am not a customer of the Clydesdale Bank but after I read a few reviews about their services, interest rates and process, I thought they would entertain me for a loan.I had been looking on line at many lenders and Clydesdale Bank just appealed to me so that's why I decided to go with them first. I completed the application on line and waited for a response. I knew they had to do some checking on my financial background, credit rating etc., but was surprised at how quickly they made a decision. I was asked to complete and sign the documents I downloaded and sent them off. I was happy with the interest rate and how much my monthly payment would be. By the end of the week the money was in my account, marvelous, now I could really go car shopping. Thanks Clydesdale, that was easy.

Remodeling your home can be an expensive venture and I was not sure that I really could afford to make the improvements I wanted. I considered getting a loan to do the project but was a bit skeptical about getting into debt. I got the computer chugging and looked at various lender websites. The interest rates were varied and the lenders offered different options. The one I liked the best was Clydesdale Bank, although I am not a customer of theirs. They said on their website that UK residents could apply so I gave it a whirl. The application form was not too difficult, it did ask for lots of information. This was understandable as they do have to check you out. Anyway, an instant decision came back and they offered me a personal loan with a pretty good interest rate and a doable payment each month. So I signed the paperwork and sent it off. I was able to start my remodeling the next week as the money was deposited into my account within a few days. Pretty cool Clydesdale Bank, thanks.

I was struggling with my student loans as the interest just kept piling on, and the two different institutions I had borrowed the money from, had high interest rates too. I wondered if it would not be a good idea to get a personal loan from my bank to payoff both of these student loans and just have one payment, and at one interest rate. Seemed like a good idea so I inquired at my bank, the Clydesdale Bank.I called their customer service line to explain my predicament and confirmed that I was now working with a pretty good salary, I could afford to make the payments. I decided, after chatting with a lady, that I would actually go into the branch to file an application. So I visited and spoke with a loan officer who was very helpful. We completed the application and his computer acted immediately with a response that I could get a personal loan. Great news, big relief, I signed the documents there and then, and the loan officer said the money would be in my account within a day or so, which it was. What a super deal, and quite painless.

When I was reading up on loan companies and banks I came upon Clydesdale Bank and was interested to see that they allowed you to make early repayments with some days of interest. I wanted to get a short term personal loan to finish the house I was remodeling. I had a buyer lined up and just needed some additional money to make the changes he wanted. You have to shop around these days as interest rates vary so much, but I liked what I read about the Clydesdale Bank no hidden charges and early payoff, instant decision, this all sounded pretty good to me. I pulled up their application on line and filled it in. It was pretty straightforward although they needed a lot of information, well you can't blame them they have to check you out. Anyway, the instant response was amazing and they offered me a good deal. I signed and sent off the paperwork and it was literally a few days when the money was deposited into my account, Very good people to work with.

As my daughter had graduated from college with flying colours, my husband and I decided to get a personal loan and present my baby girl with a decent car. The one she was driving was a old tin can and not very reliable. Her safety was paramount to us and so we decided to look into a loan. We did not want to touch our savings and if we could get a decent interest rate from a bank, we would not have to rely on a car dealership's lender to give us a good deal.We had been with the Clydesdale Bank for a number of years and when we pulled up their website to see what they could offer, we were impressed with their statements and options. We stayed on the website and made an application. It was not long before they responded and they offered us a competitive interest rate with payments we could afford, until we could pay it off. We signed on the dotted line and mailed the forms. The money was deposited into our account within a day or so, so they were true to their word. Good bank to deal with, but then we are biased.

Thanks to my loan from the Clydesdale Bank I can celebrate my first Christmas in my new flat. I have been sharing a flat since leaving university and getting my first job but because I wasn't earning much as a junior doctor I couldn't afford to go it on my own.My financial situation has improved considerably although I still wouldn't mind a bit more in my bank account each month. But it does mean I could afford this loan and so I didn't want to waste any time in putting my extra money to good use.My loan not only means I can pay the deposit and two months rent but it gives me a bit extra to help with the furnishing as having been in furnished accommodation up to now means I wont have much need for a removal van and I think all my worldly goods will fit in my dad's old Volvo estate.

My wife and I don't have expensive tastes but our children do and we can't for the life of us think where they get it from. We tend to blame the TV programs they like to watch for most things and so that might be the cause of their obsession with having to have all the latest gadgets and designer clothes. So I am sad to say that once again our occasional personal loan from the Clydesdale Bank is not for me or the wife to indulge ourselves but to make sure all three of our very demanding teenagers are happy with what they find under the Christmas tree this year.We can't wait for the day when they are all out earning a wage and perhaps treating their long suffering parents to something nice for once, but we won't be holding our breath just yet!

I am delighted that my personal loan with Clydesdale Bank has finally been completed and all the necessary documents have been signed, sealed and delivered! I have just been informed that the funds are being transferred to my bank account today and so I thought I should just write and say how very happy I have been with the overall experience. My only gripe is that we no longer have a local Post Office and it meant I had to go all the way into town to post the documents back. However that is not really the Clydesdale Banks fault but maybe they could consider offering some sort of courier service which would be a great help to someone like me who finds it a bit of a struggle to get out and about especially in the winter time.

I was worried my loan from the Clydesdale Bank wouldn't happen before Christmas as I had left it late to apply and in my experience the wheels of commerce tend to slow done a bit in the run up to the festive season.Happily that doesn't appear to be the case with the Clydesdale Bank because they have sorted out my personal loan in no time at all even taking into account the slight delay in my returning the paperwork. In future I would definitely pay that bit extra and use a courier service so maybe it would be a good idea if they recommended that on their website as I am sure it would prove to be good advice for a lot of people like me.

Apart from the slight inconvenience of signing paperwork and posting it back, I found the loan application very easy and straightforward. At the end of the day it is a much easier way of acquiring a personal loan rather than going to the bother of taking time off work to speak to your bank manager or loan adviser face to face. Maybe if I had had some problem with the online application I might be posting a different review but the fact is that within less than a working week i had applied for and been approved my personal loan and the money was in my bank account within 7 days. I think that deserves a positive review from me and I am happy to submit this for other potential borrowers to read about my experience and perhaps choose the Clydesdale Bank for their personal loan too.

Clydesdale Bank have given me a very competitive interest rate on the personal loan I have just taken out with them and I wanted to say thank you to them for the help and advice they gave when I was applying for it.I can mange quite well when just borrowing small sums of money but this loan was for a substantial amount and I didn't want to get it wrong and end up with an unaffordable loan that was going to cause me serious problems. The Clydesdale Bank's responsible attitude to lending money shone through right from the word go and I knew they wouldn't be lending money that they felt I couldn't afford to repay easily and so I am very grateful to them for that and of course for the loan also. I will most certainly recommend them to my friends who may not have heard of them but who may need an affordable personal loan just like mine.

All my nieces and nephews got very expensive presents this Christmas because I don't plan on doing it again and thought I should make their last presents from me memorable. It's not that I am going anywhere or planning on dying any time soon but I really hate the whole commercial side of Christmas and no longer want any part of it.So my nieces and nephews can call me Scrooge if they want but I know they are thrilled with their presents and maybe it will be their time to buy the presents from now on and so I suppose I should prepare myself for plenty of socks and awful ties in the future. One thing's for sure, they won't be getting a personal loan from the Clydesdale Bank to do it but then that's why I am the best uncle in the world and they just haven't realised it yet.

Thanks to the loan Clydesdale Bank have just given me I can get a start on the new kitchen and bathroom I have been promising my wife for over 10 years. We have been talking about doing this work for so long that the kitchen and bathroom fittings my wife has chosen each time are no longer fashionable and so the first thing we will have to do is get up to date with what is 'in vogue' as my wife likes to put it.Personally I don't care what she chooses so long as I don't have to spend too long in the kitchen but can spend as long as I like in the jacuzzi bath that we are both looking forward to the most.

Guys maybe its because I have some Scottish blood in me from way back when my grandparents were born in Glasgow, but I have to say I just love how the people at Clydesdale Bank have treated me since I applied for a personal loan recently.I'm not being sentimental, the staff really couldn't have been more helpful and friendly when I called them to sort out all the problems I was having getting the paperwork signed and delivered back to them. I work unsociable hours and I'm never at home when the postman tries to make a delivery but with the good advice from Clydesdale Bank and a very reliable courier service I managed to get the paperwork signed and delivered back in time for me to get the loan money in my account before Christmas. So I am starting off 2016 on a high and I just might throw caution to the wind and take a little trip up to Bonnie Scotland one of these days and visit where my grandparents were born and grew up.

This is my first experience of dealing with Clydesdale Bank and I'll be honest and say that I had never heard of them until I went on to the loan comparison website recently. I just glanced past their name the first time round but then went back to do another search and that's when I realised that you don't have to be a current customer of Clydesdale Bank to apply for a loan. The 4.9% APR they were advertising appealed to me and so I decided to give them a go. My only issue was the inconvenience of getting the loan documents signed and returned but apart from that everything else was straightforward.Once I knew the documents had arrived and that the money was going into my bank account shortly I was absolutely elated because the loan was going to enable me to do something that I had been putting off for ages, which is propose to my girlfriend.

Me and my husband are delighted and somewhat relieved to have been approved this loan because we really don't have a lot to so with the Clydesdale Bank even though we have been customers of theirs for many years. We tend to just use them for our salaries to be paid into and the couple of DD we have set up with them for our mortgage and car insurance. All our other bills get paid over the counter as and when they come in. That didn't matter to the loan adviser at our local branch who seemed very aware of our financial situation and I suppose that is what is important to them when they are deciding on whether or not to approve a loan.We seemed to have passed with flying colours because they have approved a loan for the full amount we were hoping for and on top of that they have set up a repayment plan that is very affordable for us. We couldn't have asked for more and they seemed genuinely happy to be of service to us and thats why we wanted to say thank you to the staff that we dealt with and in particular the loan adviser at our local branch who went out of her way to help us get the right loan for our needs.

My personal loan from the Clydesdale is the only way I could afford to pay for both daughter's weddings who saw fit to get engaged and married within months of each other. My wife nearly had a fainting fit when they both announced their plans and did her best to persuade them to rethink the dates to no avail. Now we have no savings left and will be paying off this loan for the next 3 years but the look on both our daughters faces when we said we would pay for both their wedding receptions was worth it and we wouldn't have had it any other way just maybe a couple of years in between each one.I suppose the real plus to all this is that they both plan to start a family straight away and we are both looking forward to being grandparents before we get too old to enjoy them.

I could never accuse the wife of wanting to keep up with the Jones but she was having serious kitchen envy when we got back from our neighbours after being invited over for drinks on Boxing Day.After a week of wearing me down I have just given in and applied for a loan with Clydesdale Bank to pay for a new kitchen. In my opinion our current kitchen is perfectly adequate but I know when I'm beaten and peace would not be restored to our home until the wife gets her new kitchen.Having been told the loan is approved in principle has set my wife off on a frenzy of looking at all the online kitchen companies and I have insisted the least she can do is to relinquish the laptop for a few minutes so that I can post this review to thank the Clydesdale Bank for satisfying her kitchen envy with this loan. I might have to tell a big white lie and say the builder wants paying up front. But seriously, she knows how much we have had to tighten our belts to be able to afford this loan and I know she is as relieved as I am that we got the approval from the Clydesdale and at such a competitive interest rate too. My only issue was having to deal with the paperwork because I was hoping that the whole process could be achieved entirely online but the really low APR I got on the loan made up for that minor inconvenience. In spite of that I still had the money in my bank account within a little over a week which was fantastic for me.I would definitely recommend Clydesdale Bank to others but unlike my colleague at work I would warn them about the issue of the paperwork.

Having to sign and post the loan documents was a minor irritation for me for obvious reasons and if there was one thing I would change about Clydesdale Banks online loan service it would be to make it completely paperless and for all the procedure to be completed totally online.Apart from that I really don't have any other complaints. Once we got Christmas out of the way and had a good look at the state of our bank account we decided to go ahead with our plan to take out a personal loan to pay for this Summer holiday. We'll be celebrating our silver wedding anniversary in June and we wanted to hire a nice villa in Spain and invite our children and their partners to join us. There'll be 10 of us in total, with two new little grandchildren so we needed a big villa.Getting the loan from the Clydesdale now meant we could book the villa straight away and get a good discount on the rental. We are also paying for our youngest son's flights because he is still at college and money is always tight for him and his girlfriend. Our friends think we are mad and that we should just go off somewhere on our own for a break but we love all our children and get on great with them and we know we'll have a brilliant time so long as the sun is shining and the pool is big enough for all of us!Thanks to this affordable loan from Clydesdale Bank we have been able to book a villa with what looks like an Olympic size pool and there's even a nice little children's pool next to it so the little ones will be happy too.By the time June comes around we will have paid off almost half the loan already so it really was the easiest way to go about affording this very special family holiday which may not happen again for a few years so we are going to make the most of it.

Clydesdale Bank have played a big part in my recent foray into property developing. With the loan I took out last year I was able to renovate a couple of run down terraced houses that I bought at auction and they are both now giving me a nice rental income which has almost paid off the entire loan. I plan on selling one of the houses once the loan is settled in full. Clear one debt before taking on another one, that's my motto!I will be at auction looking for further properties to buy with the proceeds of this sale and when that happens I will be getting straight on to Clydesdale Bank to see about getting another loan and I hope we can do business again in the not too distant future.

With our loan from Clydesdale Bank we have been able to put most of the money forward to pay for our daughter's wedding in June. Her and her fiance had saved quite a bit and were willing to meet the costs of the wedding themselves but we didn't want them starting married life with not much in their bank account and so we offered to pay half of the overall wedding costs which will leave them with a nice little sum in their bank account for emergencies and the like.We have a nice comfortable income and don't want for much. Our biggest outgoing is our summer holiday each year, so the loan repayments won't be a problem for us at all and as she is our only daughter it is not something we will have the pleasure of doing again so we want to do it in style and make sure she has everything she wants.I do hope the men will be wearing kilts as my husband still has a fine pair of legs on him which only ever see the light of day when we're on a beach somewhere hot!

Having to sign and post back the loan documents was the reason for the delay in us getting the loan from Clydesdale Bank before Christmas. We were caught up in the chaos caused by the floods although mercifully our home wasn't one of those flooded. But as you can imagine, the whole community in general was badly affected and that included the postal service. The reason for our loan was to pay for a trip to Canada to visit family for Christmas and see the new year in with them. Unfortunately we weren't able to do that and even now that the money has arrived we are really giving considerable thought as to whether we should be going at all. Leaving our neighbours and the local community as a whole to deal with any further floods just doesn't seem right. So for the time being we are holding off on booking our flights but the money is there if and when we feel happy about going. I hope its soon because I don't think the community can take much more of this awful devastation the flooding has caused.

My wife's 60th birthday is the reason for me taking out this loan with the Clydesdale Bank. She doesn't want a big fuss made and has made it quite clear she doesn't want a party. I really don't know why because under normal circumstances she loves a good old shin dig. However, our daughter informs me I have been missing a lot of subtle hints about what she would like for her 60th birthday and apparently this particular item is supposed to be a girls best friend and my wife has her heart set on a pair of them in the form of earrings. So I've gone against the habits of a lifetime and spent more than I can bare to think about on a pair of earrings that you'd need a microscope to find if you dropped them on a shag pile rug. Well at least I won't have trouble hiding them from her until her birthday!

Very happy with this loan from Clydesdale Bank. Got another great APR since the last time I took out a loan with them so it seems they are keeping ahead of the game which means their customers won't have to look elsewhere for a competitive loan.My first loan with them was nearly 8 years ago but I still remember being very satisfied with the interest rate at the time and whilst I didn't have the benefit of looking at loan comparison websites then I still knew I had got a great deal.It is much easier to check on these things nowadays which I have done but I still went with Clydesdale Bank for the loan. I don't recommend this sort of thing to people because I think they should find out for themselves with all the research websites that are available. That way they only have themselves to blame if they end up with the wrong loan.

I am a Clydesdale Bank customer so I am not sure if I would have gone to them for my loan otherwise. There are dozens of lenders out there and many of them are offering similar loans with competitive interest rates.I wouldn't have gone with Clydesdale Bank if they were not equally competitive as the other main players. But thankfully they were because it was much more convenient for me to apply for the loan through my local branch and be able to speak to an adviser before choosing what loan option was best for me.I know all this sort of thing can be done online without even having to speak to someone but if like me you need a bit of professional advice first then its nice to be able to talk to somebody face to face and get the help and advice you need.

The online customer service people were fantastically helpful and assisted me in completing the application form. They were very professional and knew their business in banking, I was very impressed with them and glad that I took up the recommendation from a friend of mine to try them. The process was made easy by their representative and after they did the necessary back ground checks and credit ratings, I was offered a loan at very good terms. I would urge other folk to try them, they are a good outfit.

I heard that the Clydesdale Bank was a pretty good bank to deal with when trying to obtain a personal loan. Some relatives had applied to them and said how easy their process had been so when I was considering consolidating some debts, I thought I would also try them.It made sense to have just one payment going out to cover the debts I had incurred, especially as some of the interest rates were higher than I would have liked. I went on line to the Clydesdale website to look at what they were offering and was pleasantly surprised. I submitted an application and an instant decision was forthcoming. I was approved within a matter of days and when the paperwork arrived I swiftly signed and sent it back. I had access to the money right away.

The Clydesdale Bank came up trumps for me and I definitely had to write about them. They are an easy bank to work with for sure. I was impressed with the way they treated me.I needed to pay-off my student loans and when I discovered them in the list of lenders I was researching, decided to give them try. I chose them because I liked the explanations they gave and the information they provided. I was not disappointed, I received an instant decision after submitting my forms on line and within a short time, I was also approved. The money appeared into my bank within a few days.

The Clydesdale Bank helped me finance a home improvement project I set myself. I did not have the necessary cash or savings available but was determined to get this project underway. They were easy to deal with and I was impressed with the speed with which they came back to me, offering me a personal loan. The on line application was simple and I could understand the process they would be going through.Their terms and interest rate were acceptable and I think better than most lending institutions - I had researched a few. So I wanted to report that for anyone contemplating a personal loan, you can't go far wrong applying to the Clydesdale Bank.

I applied to the Clydesdale Bank for a personal loan a few months back as I wanted to pay off my credit cards and do away with those horrible interest rates. I had researched several loan companies and after reading the criteria that the Clydesdale Bank required, decided they were the bank to go for.I was anxious to lower the interest rate on the money I owed and the Clydesdale Bank appeared to be a good bank to do just that. So, I went onto their website and filled out the loan application. It was an easy task, the form was not complicated. They came back with an instant decision and I was pleased to see the terms, interest rate and repayment amount was within my budget. I finished the process and sent back the documents. Within a few days, the funds were deposited into my bank, a very swift and pleasing process.

Clydesdale Bank offer loans to anyone, not just their current customers. If that means they are popular because they are competitive then so be it but as long as their loyal customers are getting the best deals then that is fine by me. I've been with Clydesdale Bank for many years and they have had my money going through their books long enough for them to owe me something extra when it comes to preferential rates on a loan.Well of course I don't know what they are giving their other customers so it is just speculation on my part. But I am very happy with the interest rate they are charging me for this current loan and it does seem to be a lot better than what a lot of other banks are advertising. So I suppose I should just be grateful for it and say something nice about Clydesdale Bank in this review.Clydesdale Bank are a friendly bunch of people to bank with. There, I've said something nice!

During that strange little period after Christmas but before New Years Day I set myself to thinking about getting a loan and spent hours on the internet looking at practically every lenders website. It wasn't a waste of time as such because even though I ended up getting my loan from my own bank Clydesdale Bank, I was able to see for myself what was available and how competitive they were compared to what Clydesdale Bank were offering. There really wasn't a lot in it and even the lenders advertising slightly lower APRs weren't able to follow it through with their online quotes. In the end I decided that taking a loan out is a bit of snakes and ladders game and after a few ups and downs during the loan process with Clydesdale Bank I ended up on top so that means I win this time.

We're paying for our daughters wedding with this marvellous loan from Clydesdale Bank. We had been thinking about this ever since our daughter got engaged last year and decided we would wait until after Christmas before approaching Clydesdale Bank for the loan.We are very pleased with the loan they have agreed for us because it is for the amount we think should cover all the expense of the wedding with a little bit left over hopefully which would pay for our summer holiday in September. We have been with the Clydesdale Bank all our married life and we always knew we would use then for this sort of loan and we are just delighted that it has turned out to be such an affordable one.Being able to pay for our daughter's wedding and have a nice holiday as well is really a rather nice feeling so we'd like to thank Clydesdale Bank for that.

We're having a very nice extension built on the back of our cottage which will give us a lovely big kitchen diner. That means we can convert the small existing kitchen into a utility room and the old dining room will become my study. We had the plans drawn up and approved last year after we decided against moving to a bigger house and it all hinged on us getting an affordable loan to pay for the work.Clydesdale Bank have made all this planning worthwhile by approving a loan that will give us more than enough funds to do the work and even though we have no intentions of moving once the work is completed we have already been told by a local estate agent that the increased value of the house once the work is done will be over and above the cost of the loan. So we are delighted with this news and are eager to get started on the work and who can blame us. In more ways than one we are going to be much better off once the work is completed.

This is my first loan from Clydesdale Bank and in fact its the first loan I have taken out in many years so things have changed a bit since I got my first loan to buy a car over 30 years ago.Clydesdale Bank have moved with the times but what I like about them is that they haven't lost that traditional, personal touch that old style banks were renowned for. I didn't quite get the cup of tea and a biscuit but what I did get was good advice and help with the loan application which ensured that I ended up with an affordable and convenient loan.Within 48 hours of signing and returning the paperwork I had my funds which I thought was brilliant. I have absolutely no complaints about the whole experience and I want to thank Clydesdale Bank for such a good service.

Had I not been a customer of Clydesdale Bank I might have had a problem getting a personal loan to buy my first car.I have just turned 21 but have been a customer of Clydesdale Bank since I was at college. They probably know my financial situation as well as I do because every penny I have earned since my first part time job as a waiter has gone straight into my bank account. I have had it instilled in me by my parents that you pay your bills first and then what's left is yours to spend or save. They always put the emphasis on 'save' but I wasn't very good at that. Which is why I needed this loan to buy my car but I have been careful enough with my money each month and I can easily afford this loan that Clydesdale Bank have given me. I think that is why I got the loan without too much trouble and I will be repaying it without any trouble and that's a promise. I am just grateful that Clydesdale Bank had faith in me that I would be responsible borrower and not a risky one.

I was looking for a short term loan and came upon the Clydesdale Bank during my research. I liked what I read about them and that I could pay off early with the obvious interest charge, but still that would allow me to use some money that I needed for a project in the short term.I pulled up their website and learned more about them, what they needed from me and I believed I would fit the bill. So, I filled out the application which was pretty easy and they were really fast at coming back to me. They made a decision in my favour and I signed and sent off the paperwork. This was a really easy process and within a few days, the money was deposited into my bank account. Pretty slick outfit the Clydesdale Bank.

I needed to report on behalf of the Clydesdale Bank what a great experience I had with them when applying for a personal loan. I wanted to consolidate some debts and after I read about them on line, when looking for a lender, I was impressed with what they had to say.Their application process was very swift, the forms were easy and understandable. They did ask me for more information, which was no big deal, I know lenders need to find out all they can about your credit history, but I did not have a problem with this. The money was made available to me within a very short time and I could not have been more pleased with their efficiency.

I wanted to consolidate my student loans and could take on a personal loan as I had acquired a good job after university. I decided to give them a try and went onto their website.I did not know how this would work as I did not have an account with the Clydesdale Bank, but having read that you did not have to live in Scotland or have an account with them, I filled out their application. I did ask a few questions when I was not sure on some parts of the form, what to put, their customer service people were really helpful. Without this loan from Clydesdale Bank my wife's 60th birthday surprise might not be happening. She had always wanted to go to Las Vegas and whilst it is not something I particularly fancied doing myself I wanted her to experience the thrill of it all before she got much older.I have had to go behind her back and organise everything but the one thing that was relatively easy was getting the loan. The staff at our local branch were marvellous and were in on the secret. I really couldn't thank them enough for their help and for entering into the spirit of it all. They have even sorted out our currency for us and the travel insurance.Aye, I'd say thats what a good bank is when they can give you the complete package on a good loan and a bit more on top of that without even having to ask for it.

Although I'm Scottish born and bred, I have lived in London since graduating from medical school and taking my first job in a London hospital. I think that is why I was drawn to the Clydesdale Bank website when I was looking for a personal loan. A bit of nostalgia one might say. However, nostalgia played no part in my decision to get my loan from Clydesdale Bank, it was all down to the APR they were charging for the loan. It was such a good deal and as I was borrowing rather a large sum of money, every pound extra in interest charges was going to have an impact on the affordability of the loan.It didn't take long for the loan agreement to come through and once I had read the documents several times over I then signed them and returned them by courier to ensure they got there in as short a time as possible. That was Monday and here we are on Thursday and I have just been informed that the funds are being transferred to my account today.I am delighted with the entire service I have received from Clydesdale Bank and would definitely recommend them to some of my friends even the ones who aren't lucky enough to have been born in Bonnie Scotland!

I moved down to the south of England with my wife and children several years ago but kept my bank account with the Clydesdale Bank. I don't use the account for our day to day banking needs but we have a bit of money in it for emergencies. When we decided to take out a personal loan to have a small extension built on the back of our house, I immediately thought of approaching Clydesdale Bank because I thought it would be easier to keep the loan separate from our other monthly outgoings. It has worked out really well and we are hoping that if we are careful enough with our budget for the extension we might be able to leave a bit more in that account once the work is done. I know most building projects have a tendency to go over budget but I am hoping we can keep a tight check on the spending for materials etc. and maybe even end up being under budget at the end of it.

With the help of our daughter we applied for our loan from Clydesdale Bank by way of the internet. Our daughter insisted it was the way things are done these days are who are we to argue with the youth of today! What she didn't tell us was how to get around the problem of printing, signing and posting back the paperwork. Our printer had run out of ink and we were stuck waiting for a few days while our daughter eventually sorted things for us. I think that is the only thing I could find fault with. Surely not everyone who has a computer has a working printer as well, or is it just me being a bit behind the times?Anyhow, we ended up with a very favourable rate on our loan and once the paperwork was sorted we didn't have to wait any time at all for the money. It was in our account within hours of being notified that the paper work had been received. My wife and I are very pleased with the outcome and I shall make sure our printer is up to scratch from now on!

I'd give Clydesdale Bank a 9/10 score for their overall service when I applied for my personal loan. I applied online but found I was having problems with the application for reasons that I still am not sure about. However I called the helpline number and spoke to a very helpful young lady who dealt with my application there and then. There was a few days wait while the paperwork was being sorted and then I simply just had to sign the paperwork and post it back. I used a courier service to ensure next day delivery and it was worth doing it because within 48 hours of that I had the funds in my account.

Clydesdale Bank rang me to say my loan had been approved and I was in the middle of my lunch break at the time. My coffee went all over the place and my sandwich ended up on the floor. I was that delighted to have got the loan that I could have jumped for joy. Well actually I did which is why my lunch went everywhere!I applied for a loan with Clydesdale Bank so that I could pay for my daughter and I to go to New York to celebrate my 50th birthday. I'm divorced from her dad and I wanted to go with her rather than any of my friends much as I love them all. This 50th birthday was going to be a mother and daughter bonding holiday and I couldn't think of a more fun way to do it.I am a long standing customer of Clydesdale Bank and I have always had a great relationship with my local branch so when they approved this loan over the phone I think everyone in the branch within earshot could hear me screaming with delight so I might have a bit of a red face next time I pop in there.

I have my loan now from Clydesdale Bank and I wanted to say how happy I am that I have been given this loan. Before I moved down to England I had a bank account with Clydesdale Bank but I closed it and opened a new account with another bank. I'm not really sure why I did such a thing because I've hardly stepped foot in any of their branches and most of my banking is done online. I might just as well have stayed with Clydesdale Bank. But it was nice to be able to go back to them for this personal loan and I am pleased that they didn't hold it against me for switching to another bank. They have given me a much better deal on this loan than I could have got from my present bank so for that reason I chose not to use them for this particular loan.

We'd like to thank the Clydesdale Bank for giving us yet another great deal with our second personal loan from them. We took out the first loan about 5 years ago to pay for a car and we were given a very good interest rate and the monthly repayments suited us fine. This loan is for a bit more money because we are building an extension on our cottage which was originally bought as a holiday home but we now plan to live there permanently when we retire in the next couple of years. This loan will allow us to do a few adjustments to the place to make it more suitable for permanent residency and it will be money well spent because it will be a really lovely home with the most amazing view that some people can only dream of but for us it will be reality. We shall be spending most weekends doing as much of the work ourselves as is possible and paying the experts to do the rest and that's only made possible because of this loan from Clydesdale Bank for which we are very grateful to have got another great deal on.

My business is not doing too bad and we hadn't taken any time away from it for quite a few years so I decided to surprise my wife with a cruise to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I couldn't afford to pay for it outright but I could afford to take out a loan with my bank to pay for it. My daughter warned me that these cruises can be fancy affairs and not only would her mother need some new dresses but I would have to splash out on a dinner suit and bow tie.So it wasn't too long before the amount I wanted to borrow had almost doubled and I was beginning to have second thoughts about it. But with my daughter's encouragement I applied for a personal loan from Clydesdale Bank and it turned out to be much more affordable than I thought. She made sure I signed the paperwork and she posted it off before I could change my mind.Well the cruise is booked now and the wife and daughter have been busy shopping for clothes and I'm not too bothered about the dinner suit and bow tie because I've always fancied myself as a bit of a James Bond lookalike but I won't say exactly which one in case the wife and daughter read this and I'll never live it down!

As loans go this loan from Clydesdale Bank isn't the most competitive as regards interest rates but it is still competitive enough for me and that's because everything boils down to whether or not I can afford the monthly repayments and with this particular loan that is not going to be a problem at all.I'm taking the loan out over the full five years and it's enough for me to know that the rate isn't going to change in those five years and that the monthly repayments are only going to get easier with my annual salary increase that I am pretty much guaranteed with my job.Everyone's loan requirements are different and it is not always just about getting the lowest APR. I have got a loan agreement that suits me and should remain that way for the next five years. Also, I will have the option to repay the loan in full if my circumstances change during that time and I win the Lotto!

I had a really good experience with the Clydesdale bank and it was worth writing a quick report for other readers to see.I was going car shopping and knew I would have to put some money down as well as trade in my existing vehicle. I did not want to touch my savings, or go with the dealerships credit company, so I figured going in with cash might even get me a better deal.I went on line to the Clydesdale Bank website and looked at the statements and terms and conditions they had posted. Clydesdale Bank came up in conversation with some colleagues so that's why I decided to try them for a personal loan. The application forms seemed simple and straightforward so I filled them out and submitted them for review.I received an instant decision so I guess they thought I would be a good customer. I was well pleased that I had tried the Clydesdale Bank for my financial needs.

I was having a conversation with some fellow graduates from college and expressing how much I would like to be done with my student loans. One suggested that as he had been successful in getting a personal loan to pay them off, that I might do the same. I thought that was a good idea and started to look on line at lenders to see where I could get the best deal.I found a website called Readies and they give a listing of financial institutions that provide difference sorts of loans with some information on their terms. This site saved me a lot of research. I went down the list and decided upon the Clydesdale Bank as I liked what I read about them.I pulled up their website and studied the criteria they needed to apply for a personal loan, I believed I qualified so I filled in the forms. The Clydesdale Bank helped me consolidate some small loans I had down to one payment with them. This was such a relief, I was paying different interest rates and it was over and above what I thought the market rate should be. I had seen an advertisement in the local paper for them and decided to go on line and apply. I had been thinking about doing this for some time, but did not know where to start. Seeing the ad put me in focus.I was so glad that I decided to do this, they were very receptive and when I called their customer service with some questions, they were helpful in completing the forms with me. Our daughter's wedding will be a grand affair and it has to be because we have family coming from practically all four corners of the globe to attend it. But we couldn't put on such a wedding without some financial help and that has come in the form of our personal loan from Clydesdale Bank.Rather than use our personal savings, we decided on the option of a loan because we can afford to pay quite a hefty monthly repayment and that suits us better than using up most of our savings in one fell swoop. Its nice to keep that money in reserve for any emergencies. We are Clydesdale Bank customers and have been since our daughter was a bairn so we wouldn't have thought to go any where else for this loan. I am quite happy with this loan arrangement with Clydesdale Bank. I wouldn't have agreed to it if I wasn't. There are far too many other lenders for me to go to if Clydesdale Bank weren't offering me a competitive deal and they know that. They were very accommodating with this loan and did their best to make the terms and conditions fit in with my personal circumstances. We discussed the matter over the phone rather than me using their online facility because my requirements of the loan weren't straightforward and I needed to speak to one of their loan advisers in person. They couldn't have been more helpful and co-operative and that's how we finally arrived at the agreement I have just signed. Now all I have to do is be patient and wait for my money which they assure me will be in my account the same day the paperwork is received by them. So it's all down to the postman now!

We found them on the Readies loan comparison website. This loan is going to enable me to move to London and that will be cutting my journey time to work by half. The money I will be saving on travel fares will go towards paying off this loan so it won't be too much of a struggle to make the monthly repayments.Having just a short bus ride into work or even a brisk walk if I'm feeling up to it will be great and a few extra minutes in bed every morning especially during the winter months will be great.

The printer at home isn't working at the present time and I had to use the works one which got me a reprimand from my superviser. But apart from that I can't complain about the rest of the process. It started with an interest rate that was better than I expected and together with the monthly repayments working out at a more than affordable amount I couldn't have wanted more from this loan. Aside from the printer problem I would say I am very satisfied with my Clydesdale Bank loan.Note to self, get the printer fixed or buy a new one!

Clydesdale Bank were advertising 4.9% for their personal loans. I hoped that wasn't just to entice people in before hiking it up. Because if that was the case I would have gone with one of the other lenders. They kept their word with my loan and gave me 4.9% but I had wanted to take the loan out over a longer period but that would have meant the rate going up a bit. So I kept to the loan period they were stipulating because it was still affordable for me. And in the long run I will be pleased I did because the loan will be paid off quicker and I can always take out another one if I need to without having to wait twice as long.

My local branch know me quite well as I often pop in to pay in cash and more often than not I pick up one of their leaflets to see what they are offering in the way of interest rates for various loans. This time I was actually talking to their loan adviser who happens to be a client of mine at my hair salon. He gave me some good advice about getting a personal loan to pay for some work I wanted to do on my new flat and I went ahead and acted on that advice. The result is I have a great deal on a loan for the amount I need and it helped going through my local branch instead of doing the application online because I didn't have to worry about signing and posting back the paperwork. We were able to do the whole thing at my local branch which was much more convenient for me.

We've signed and posted back the paperwork for our loan with Clydesdale Bank and we are eager to get the money in the bank. We won't really believe we have been lucky to get this loan until we see the money is in our bank account. We chose to get a loan from Clydesdale Bank because we found them on the loan comparison website and were pleased to see that they weren't restricting their loans to people north of the border. My wife was born in Scotland so we have a certain fondness for a lot of things Scottish and why not add a good Scottish bank as well. We'll definitely be partaking of a wee dram once we see the money in our account so we hope we won't have to wait too long.

When I moved from Glasgow to Perth I kept my Clydesdale Bank account and I am glad I did because they are still offering great deals with their loans and I need a great deal on a loan at the moment. My other bank is a joint account with my wife and we like to keep that separate so that we can keep an eye on our monthly spending. We use my Clydesdale Bank account as a sort of savings account although to be honest there's not much savings in there at the moment. There will not be much either once we get the loan because its going to be spent on a new kitchen and a few other home improvements. If we are careful we might be able to save a bit of it, that will depend on how fancy a cooker my wife wants in this new kitchen. some of them can cost the price of a small car!

This is a good deal I have got with my loan from Clydesdale Bank. I just had a quick look at some of the other loan companies and I hear they aren't all they are cracked up to be when you get down to the nitty gritty. With the Clydesdale Bank you basically get what they are advertising, no dangling of carrots and then letting you down when you make a formal application. This is my third loan with them so I can speak from some experience. Each of my loans have come with a competitive interest rate and I've always been able to negotiate an affordable monthly repayment plan. What more could you want from a personal loan. Not much more I don't think.

Have just passed my driving test and can't wait to get behind the wheel of my new car that has yet to be bought but now that Clydesdale Bank have given me a loan that shouldn't be too long now. I've just signed and sent the documents back to them and hopefully it won't be too long before they transfer the money to me. I have a good idea what sort of car I want to buy but if I hadn't been able to get this loan I would be driving around in my dad's old Ford Fiesta which he so kindly offered to let me have now that he is upgrading to a swanky BMW. No thanks Dad I said you can leave it for Jamie, my brother to learn to drive in and I think I just might try getting a BMW myself, although it would have to be a second hand one. Clydesdale weren't that generous with my loan!

Once the paper work had been signed and posted back I really didn't have to wait too much longer for the loan money to be deposited into my bank account. Clydesdale really seemed to have pulled out all the stops to get my loan processed and finalised in time for me to make an offer on a piece of jewelry that was being sold at our local antique shop.I wanted to buy it for my wife for her 50th birthday and I knew it was something she had expressed an interest in any time we passed by the shop. It's a beautiful piece of jewelry with a bit of historical background so that makes it an even more special item and I know she will be absolutely shocked and delighted when I present her with it on her birthday next week.

We got the decision on our loan very quickly so we didn't mind waiting after we had signed and posted back the paperwork. Just knowing that the money would be coming to us eventually was enough for us.We were not sure if we would be accepted for this loan because of problems with our credit in the past but fortunately that wasn't a problem. We had somehow managed to get ourselves back on track and my credit score is good which is what we needed to enable this loan to be approved in my name.We have some very important things we want to do with this loan money and we are starting the ball rolling by clearing all our credit card debts from Christmas. The last thing I want to do is mess up my newly regained good credit score.

Clydesdale Bank are really coming to the fore at the moment. I had never heard of them before I took out this loan after finding them on the loan comparison website. But they are all over the TV now, being mentioned on different money and finance programs. You don't have to be a customer of theirs to get a great deal on the loans they are offering and I don't live in Scotland but I would definitely consider opening a current account with them. These days most people do their banking online so what's the difference where you live. You can take advantage of good deals from banks like the Clydesdale no matter where you live. I am proof of that!

Clydesdale Bank offer loans to people from all over the UK so I didn't feel at all strange applying for my personal loan from the comfort of my home in Cornwall. Not quite Land's End but not too far off!I like to shop around for anything before buying or committing myself to it and this loan is no different. I think a lot of people may have dismissed the Clydesdale Bank loans because of them being based in Scotland but with the internet these days nothing is out of our reach.I only had to deal with the slight inconvenience of posting the loan documents back but after that it was just a matter of a couple of days before they contacted me to say they had completed the loan agreement and that the funds were going in to my bank account within 24 hours. Excellent service from an excellent bank in my opinion.

I contacted my local branch of Clydesdale Bank to enquire about taking out a personal loan with them. They were very helpful and suggested that if I felt comfortable with it I should use their online loan application form to get some idea of what it would be costing me. It was good advice because I found it helped me having it in black and white in front of me. I could get a good idea of what I could afford to borrow before taking it any further.I finally ended up with an even larger loan than I originally thought about and that is because I had over estimated in my head what I thought I would be paying back in monthly repayments. Far more than I will actually be paying. Oh well I am not complaining, my maths were never my strong point at school so thank goodness for the online calculator.

We have been thinking about converting our second garage into a small guest bed room downstairs. We have a fairly large parking area outside that can easily fit three cars parked there so we don't always use the double garage that we have inside. It has been a ides that's has been tossed back and forth between me and my boyfriend for about 3 years now and we finally got someone out to give us a price of all the renovations that would need to be done and so that the garage area is up to code to live in as a room of the house. There is alot that I didn't know and it turns out there was alot more to making a out door room to a in door room and it's a little more costly than we would have liked it to be. I wasn't to worried as we have a little bit saved but my boyfriend was more worried about the money side of things so I told him I would apply for a loan.He told me to go with RBS and he had a loan with them but I wanted to stick to what I know best and this is my own bank , The clydesdale bank. I have been with them for more than twenty years now and I have had no problems or I would have changes banks by now. I know people in the local branch by name I go in person to pay my bingo winning or cheques and they are nice people. Also they helped me get the hang of this online banking and that is how I ended up applying for a loan to get the work at home done.I'm really glad I did stick to my own bank as they got me the money quick so I can get the work men in and start this big change while the kids are still at school so it's easyer hopeful it's done before the holidays come. Also my own bank gave me a good rate , they approved me at rate of 4.1 % on 7 thousand and I was glad it was so low as most company's can't offer you a loan rate this low these days.

Clydesdale offers fixed interest rates on their loan and fixed terms once you decided and apply then it's done. Nothing will change on the rates no mater what the market does and I am glad as I had issues with my morgtage payments with the clydesdale bank and had to change to a fixed rate and it was getting beyond crazy the changes they were making. I wasn't sure about coming back to clydesdale bank for a loan but I was looking to consolidate all my debt into one monthly payment and my debt was with the clydesdales so why go threw the hassle of getting money else where and going to back and forward to get so many things paid off with the money and I didn't want to do all that. So going back to clydesdale bank was the best idea with this station to handle everything more easy. So that was the only reason if I am honest i came back to them. The Apr rate on this one loan is alot less than a 19.75% credit card and a 12% overdraft on a old account still in the red so I am saving money and paying of my debt now thanks to them accepting my loan.

This winter I needed to take out a personal loan of a couple of thousand pounds and i have had my last loan 3 years ago with the clydesdale bank I decided to go back to them. One of main reasons going back to them is because I know how they work and haven had no problems with them I see no reason not to go back to them. Also another reason is there rates are good and very competitive and rhey are fixed also. There was only a few things I needed to check before I applied for this new loan. I need to know excatly what my monthly commitments were going to be cost wise and how long I would need to take the loan for in order to pay it.The Clydesdale got back to me with a 4.1 % apr rate and I found that to be reasonable and affordible so I decided to go ahead with the loan threw them.

I work for a company and i have been the last 11 days working in belfast and staying in a BnB and i have been offered to stay another 3months and work in this City. The place i am looking at renting is already furniture so i shouldn't have to buy too much except a tv and maybe some new bed sheets and it's 3 minuets walk to my new office. My work are happy for me to claim back my expenses once I have returned back to my office in London so I need to keep hold of bills and rent payments untill then.Clydesdale bank done everything online and we're happy to send me the paper work here in Ireland as I don't have a clue if or where a branch would be I have not seen one.

The whole situation is upsetting and my parents have offered me help but I have taken enought from them all ready and this was my mistake. I need to get new tenets in as soon as possible to pay the morgtage I can't afford.I applied for a £2000 loan over 12 months with the clydesdale bank to get everything done and I can start to advertise the house again once I fix the house up. The clydesdale approved me loan and with there £2000 and with the £600 deposit I kept from the last tenets the place will look good once again.

Our house sale fell threw little over one year ago this week and it has been sitting empty on the market till recently there has been some interest. At the time we needed money as we had all ready made other commitments and we didn't want to back out just because the people who didn't buy or house did that to us. We are not that type of people we honour our comitment s. Inorder to do that I needed to borrow quiet alot of money or we wouldn't have been able to move our family with out the sale of the house. The clydesdale bank offered me the money our family needed to make this possible and in doing so the offered a repayment early option at the time I took. So that when the house did finally sell I could pay the loan off once we had the money.Great news for us this has finally happened and the money is in my account from the house sale and the clydesdale promised to let me pay off my loan. It was not as easy as the made it sound last year , I still needed to pay the interest on the loan till the end and this annoyed me. I still paid it all off today with a direct debit payment for £18,962

When looking to buy another car i did not like the interest rate that the dealerships were offering me and they gave me some bull that it was due to my age but that would be a insurance issue not a loan issue. So i told them what they could do with there finance and turned my sights else where for a loan lender. So i decided to ask the clydesdale bank for a personal loan. I was not a customer of the Clydesdale Bank at the time but after I read a few reviews online about their loans and low interest rates It was easy to apply with them. Now I am a customer with the clydesdale bank and I was impressed with there services I even open a bank account and online savings account with them. The loan agreement has arrives but I am still waiting on my bank account card and I have all ready tranfered £25 into my online savings account from another bank to keep it open.

I can't even begin to tell you how many problems I have been having trying to get a personal loan before I applied with the clydesdale. Searching for a loan brings up hundreds of company's and so many options that the more I looked the more I was stressing myself out over something as simple as borrowing money. Applying for a loan should be easy and with so many options let me tell you it is easy to confuse and lose sight of the important things. For me that is borrowing the money I needed at a ok rate , and with a bank I could trust and as fast as possible was important too. I ended up applying with the clydesdale bank as they offered me everything I was looking for and more so.

I didn't want to waste my time setting up an online account if they were going to say no to me. So I spoke with a customer service operator over the phone who was very helpful. Together we completed the application and i was immediately with a response from him in no time. I could get a personal loan that I needed and this was great news. I know she has been letting bills pill up and it's getting bad on her part so its time i stepped up and helped her. I made her a promise that i would get rhe money she needs if shw promised me not to get any more short term loans and to give me all her credit cards as she can't use them now I am paying them all off. I will need to keep a closer eye on her in future as I had no idea things were as bad as what they are and I'm glad she came to me before they got worse any worse.Myself I have a long standing history with the clydesdale bank and I had no trouble what so ever getting a loan with them to help out my daughter.

My mother and father are very worried and have asked me to come home for a few months when we have summer vication to visit them so I will go. I opened my account with Clydesdale when I came to the Edinburgh so I asked them for some money so I could go home. I told them about my family and the time I will be away but I will be back as I still have 2 years left before I am a doctor. The clydesdale was very good with me and said I could borrow £1000 with them for one year. This is very good offer for me and is alot of money to go home with.

Quite often in the past I've found that when it comes to financial services, what a company claims to offer and what they actually offer you, are two very different things. For instance the APR rate I've been given on loans before, was never as good as the one that they initially advertise. I haven't got a bad credit history, so have often wondered what exactly you have to do to be given the rates as advertised. Then I found Clydesdale Bank, and finally I got what I was looking for. A great rate was advertised, and a great rate was what I received.

*Personal loan, Clydesdale Bank When I first decided to take out a loan, I naiively thought the only place where I could get one, would be the bank who I have my account with. I went in to my local branch and asked them for a quote, and they really didn't offer me a very good deal, so I decided to look for some other options. I found Clydesdale Bank, and was surprised to learn that even as a bank, they offer loans to people that are not existing customers of theirs, and they offered me a much better deal than my own bank. It definitely pays to shop around a bit before making a final decision.

When you make any purchase that costs a considerable amount, some stores offer you finance plans in order to be able to afford the product you want. I went to buy a new laptop the other day, and was very nearly talked into this method by the sales rep, but in the end I decided I should go home and think about it before making any impulsive decisions. Now I'm so glad I did, because I discovered I could get a much better deal with Clydesdale Bank. I made an application and was approved straight away, and could go and buy my new laptop the very next day.

I'm a typical girl who loves shopping, and wanted to be able to take full advantage of the January sales this year. Having just paid for Christmas, I had hardly any cash left over. I guess most people find themselves in a similar situation at that time of year. As a hard worker with a steady income, I felt that I deserved the chance to splash out, so applied for a personal loan with Clydesdale Bank. I thought I might have to answer some complicated questions such as what was the money for, but all they seemed interested in was my recent credit history and my affordability as a client. I've never defaulted on a loan before and have always made any payments I've had due on time, so I imagine this helped my application to be approved relatively quickly.

I thought Clydesdale Bank only operated in Scotland – my sister that lives there is always going on about their great service, but I've never seen any of their branches in my area so therefore assumed their services were only available to Scottish residents. When I was talking to my sister about looking for a loan a few weeks ago, she started going on about Clydesdale Bank again, and suggested that I look on the internet. Turns out, their services are available to the whole of the UK, if you're willing to do everything online. I went ahead and made an application, and received an even better offer than I was hoping for. Now I can understand why my sister has such a high opinion of them.

With the last personal loan I took out, I don't think I received a great service, and one thing that was really annoying was the fact that I had to wait several days to receive a letter in the post just to know if my application had been approved or not. The service that Clydesdale Bank were offering really appealed to me because it stated on their website that customers would receive an instant decision. I filled out the neccessary forms, and just like they said, I got an instant decision. This was a much easier service to deal with than one of their competitors I had used with last time.

My brother is currently going through a messy divorce, and it is unclear at the moment who will get to keep the house. We are more than happy with this personal loan from Clydesdale Bank, we are absolutely delighted with it because our local branch have gone above and beyond their duty to give us the most affordable and convenient loan we could have hoped for. We're borrowing rather a large amount to pay for our only daughter's wedding and we wanted to go with our own bank rather than use a lender we had no previous experience of. Clydesdale Bank rewarded our loyalty to them by providing us with a tailor made loan that suits us perfectly. We just wanted to show our appreciation by posting this review and we hope other Clydesdale Bank customers agree with us they really are with a very fine bank indeed.

We are having a very beautiful conservatory built this Spring thanks to the marvellous loan we have just had approved by Clydesdale Bank. The conservatory is something we have been talking about getting for the past 4 or 5 years but for various reasons we have never got around to doing anything about it until now.We will be celebrating our Ruby wedding Anniversary in May and we thought it would be lovely to have a garden party which could be extended into our home if we could get the conservatory built in time.Clydesdale Bank did their utmost to process our loan application as quickly as possible and we now have the money to go ahead with the building of the conservatory which should be ready in time for our May garden party and being as we live in Scotland there is a very good chance we will be making good use of it if it threatens to rain on the day. It will be money well spent, that's for sure!

Our folks are paying for our wedding but the honeymoon is down to me and I wanted it to be the best I could afford because I have a feeling we are going to be sacrificing a lot of holiday time once we settle down to married life and start a family.I went to my own bank for this personal loan because I have banked with Clydesdale Bank ever since I left school and got my first job. I have never had any problems with them and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful on the rare occasions I actually go into one of their branches.I applied for the loan online but to save time later I actually hand delivered the signed paperwork as I was in the area anyway and being a true Scotsman I like to save money whenever I can. Within less than a week I had the loan finalised and the money in my bank account and now I am just debating whether or not to consult my bride to be on the all important honeymoon location or to just keep it a surprise and just hope to goodness that I've got it right.

This will be our first proper holiday in the sun for quite a number of years and will probably be the last for another few years so we want to push the boat out and treat ourselves to a 5 star experience. In order to do that we had to get a personal loan but it had to be an affordable one because we don't want to be sunning ourselves on some far flung beach worrying about not being able to make the repayments on this loan. Luckily for us we were able to get a fairly decent rate on a loan from Clydesdale Bank which has allowed us to borrow enough for that 5 star luxury but we won't be struggling with the repayments because Clydesdale Bank have worked out a very convenient and affordable repayment package for us. We're settling down with the laptop now to book our dream holiday but just wanted to say a big thank you to Clydesdale Bank first for making it possible.

Apart from the time it took to sign and return the paperwork, getting this loan from Clydesdale Bank was probably one of the easiest bank transactions I have had in recent years.Being able to do the whole process online from the comfort of my home in Market Harborough was very convenient. I'm a farmer and don't have the luxury of much spare time, as any farmer will attest to. The biggest inconvenience could have been signing and posting back the paperwork as our nearest post office is several miles away. I used a very reliable courier service instead and it was worth the extra cost. The documents arrived the next day and Clydesdale Bank confirmed receipt of them by telephoning me and advising me that the funds were being paid into my account within 24 hours. So at the moment I am one very happy albeit overworked farmer thanks to Clydesdale Bank and this excellent personal loan.

I am absolutely delighted with my loan from Clydesdale Bank. Before I found them on the internet through the Readies loan comparison website I had no idea they offered loans to anyone who wasn't an existing customer of theirs. I read their website profile very carefully before making my decision to apply for a loan with them and I think I have definitely made a very good choice.Everything about the online application was very straightforward and my only slight hitch was when my printer ran out of ink but once that was sorted and I had printed, signed and returned the paperwork it only took 3 more days before my loan was finalised and the funds were deposited into my bank account. Thanks you Clydesdale Bank for this loan and for the excellent way in which you have handled it.

I am really pleased with the personal loan Clydesdale Bank have given me and I promise to stop moaning about them from now on. They have more than made up for the recent little fall out we had over my overdraft facility and now that I have this loan my finances are not going to be under so much strain because whilst I am not using this loan specifically to consolidate my debts, I will be paying off the remainder of my car finance loan which I made the massive mistake of taking out with the car dealers where I bought the car from. At the time I didn't realise Clydesdale Bank did such competitive car finance loans and thought I was doing the right thing. Big mistake which I am now trying to rectify by clearing the balance still owed and finally making my car 100% legally mine. I am going to book myself a nice holiday too which is long overdue. Clydesdale really are quite a good bank and I shouldn't lose sight of that.

We're going to use this personal loan to pay for a family holiday to Canada to visit my brother and his wife. We haven't seen them in over 6 years and we thought it was about time we all met up again before our children are all grown up and wont have seen their cousins. We agreed to make this an annual event with us taking it in turns to do the journey and so I've opted to start things off as it was only last year that my brother had to travel back to Scotland for our father's funeral. My wife and I are looking forward to this trip very much and we think it will be a very educational holiday for our children who haven't been further than Spain. We couldn't have even considered this trip without the loan from Clydesdale Bank so we just want to say thank you to them for giving us such an affordable loan.

I'm delighted with this personal loan from Clydesdale Bank for two reasons. Firstly they are my bank and have been since I left school many moons ago. I didn't want to go to a lender that I had not dealt with before for such a large loan. Secondly they are rewarding my long standing relationship with them by giving a very good APR for this loan amount, saving me several hundred pounds compared to the quotes I took the liberty of getting from other banks using the online loan comparison website Readies. If I thought there was a much better loan available I might well have been inclined to take my chances with them but that wasn't the case. So I went ahead with my loan from Clydesdale Bank and I couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome.

My personal loan from Clydesdale Bank has just been finalised and before I forget I just wanted to post a review to say how pleased I am with the service I have had from the staff at my local branch and also the customer services phoneline staff that dealt with some of my initial enquiries. Both teams have been exemplary and went out of their way to help me secure this loan with as little trouble as possible. I explained the urgency of my need for this loan and after that they pulled out all the stops to ensure the loan application was processed quickly.First class service from a First class bank. Thank you Clydesdale!

Can't fault the service I received from Clydesdale Bank with this personal loan. If I could find a complaint I would say so because I don't believe in mincing my words but there is nothing about this personal loan that I can criticise without sounding petty. At the end of the day I am more than happy with the interest rate I am being charged for this loan although anybody would welcome getting a cheaper loan no matter what they are paying. As usual Clydesdale Bank have provided me with an excellent service which is one of the main reasons I have been banking with them for so long. Good banking is not just about getting the most competitive rates.

I've been with Clydesdale bank for a couple of years now and I've always been happy the service I've received but I never thought I'd be loan worthy! At the risk of sounding like a dumb teenage boy... The reason I wanted a loan was to "pimp" out my ride! Ha! Basically I had just got a steal on my dream car - a secondhand original VW Beetle, but it needed massively updating and quite a bit of stuff doing to it including new CD player/speakers etc. So I thought why not apply and see if I can get a couple of grand loan. I was really happy when I got my loan approved and stoked it was with my bank so I could keep it all in one place. Lovin working on my car. Carl.W

Last month I went on an awesome holiday to Portugal surfing with mates I hadn't seen for ages. We had a wicked time but on my last fricken day I snapped, yep snapped my board in half. My favourite Al Merick was destroyed beyond repair. I was totally devistated as the holiday had cost me loads and I had like no spare cash to replace it. Surfing is like my life, if I can't get in the water (even cold uk shores) I'm a totally different person.my mate suggest getting a loan to replace it, he'd used Clydesdale bank before and said it was a cool easy loan system. So once I'd agreed and they'd agreed on terms and that my loan was accepted and I could go and get my new board. It took about 2 weeks from breaking my board to getting a new one.. Super stoked!

Like a lot of parents I wanted to take my 2 beautiful children on a fun filled ski holiday, I've been promising my kids for god knows how long. As a single mother I work so hard to give my children the things that all there friends at school that have to working parents are able to have. I don't want them feeling different or less fortunate than their chums and to be honest I got fed up with saying "no not this year darling" every time the subject came up. So I took the leap and decided to surprise them for Christmas, all I needed to do now was find out about loans! I did the usual flicking through comparison sites and applied to a few that I liked the look of. I'm happy that after a few loan quotes I decided to go with Clydesdale Bank. They have been so helpful and on hand to help with the application. It was the best thing I've done, we had a wonderful time.

Both my wife and I have accounts with Clydesdale Bank and when we need to take out small personal loans we generally take it in turns as we both work full time and are very much a 50/50 partnership. It's my turn with this current loan which we are hoping to use to upgrade the kitchen and buy the long overdue new bed.Clydesdale Bank have consistently given us competitive and affordable loans each time and we still look around to make sure we're not missing out on a better deal somewhere else but have yet to be tempted to go with another lender. So the new kitchen will be going ahead soon and as for the new bed, well that's getting top priority because we're both fed up with the lumpy old mattress we've had since we got married 15 years ago. Like I said, it's very overdue!

It was very good news when we were told our loan with Clydesdale Bank had been approved. We were hoping we wouldn't have to start looking elsewhere for this loan because we like keeping this sort of financial business within our bank just to make things easier for ourselves. My husband has been ill and we wanted to try and get away for a long break somewhere where he can recuperate. Our bank were our preferred choice for this loan because Clydesdale have always looked after our money well and provided a good service all these years. We have our loan now and we're busy looking at holidays but we might consider a cruise so we'll just have to see where this loan money is going to take us!

Clydesdale Bank have been a bit of a revelation to me. I don't bank with them and knew very little about them until I started looking for a competitive loan. The loan comparison website brought them to my attention and I have to say I am very pleased they did because I now have a very agreeable loan that is both competitive and affordable. I don't think I would have even considered looking at someone like Clydesdale Bank if it hadn't been for the loan comparison website. So I'd like to say how helpful that has been and I think it provides a very good service.

I am not a current account customer of Clydesdale Bank but they have just agreed a great loan for me that I couldn't get from my own bank which makes me wonder what I am doing with a bank that can't even match the current rates for a personal loan. Lucky for me there are a lot more options open to people when it comes to finding a decent loan and even though I am surprised I have ended up with really good loan from the Clydesdale Bank that I hadn't even heard of before now I am not going to forget them in a hurry once this loan is paid back.

The loan comparison websites are great for helping you find a loan and without them I don't think I would be getting this loan from Clydesdale Bank. I am not even sure if I had heard of them before now because I don't recall seeing them advertised on TV or anything and I certainly haven't seen any of their branches locally. So I have to thank Readies for bringing them to my attention. Clydesdale give loans to people from anywhere in the UK so they make it easy for you to apply online. You do have to print off the loan documents and sign them before returning them which could be a problem for people if they don't have a printer but I was able to do my printing easily and got the documents sent back asap. Within a week I have got my loan and I just wanted to say how impressed and pleased I am with Clydesdale Bank and my great personal loan from them.

We're going to have a much needed holiday to Spain to help my husband recover from a recent illness and I had to get a small personal loan to pay for it. I never even considered going anywhere else but my bank so was delighted when Clydesdale quoted me a very good rate for this loan and processed it all so quickly to enable me to book everything as soon as we got the all clear from the hospital that it was ok for my husband to travel abroad. I wasn't able to book anything too far in advance and at one point I wasn't even sure if we'd be needing the loan so I had to wait and then get organising things as soon as the hospital gave us the thumbs up. If Clydesdale Bank hadn't been so helpful I might still be trying to book something now but thanks to them the holiday is booked and we're busy packing, or rather I am. Hell will freeze over before my dear husband packs his own suitcase. I don't mind though because at least I know there'll be enough clean underwear for him if I do the packing!

There'd be no wedding happening next June if we hadn't got this loan from Clydesdale bank so I want to say how grateful I am to them for arranging such an affordable loan for us. We're planning quite a big do because the family will be expecting it but if we'd not got such a good deal with this loan we might well have had to cut some corners. My partner has left the majority of the organising to me, surprise surprise and I have a feeling this is how married life is going to be if I don't knock him into shape before then. I wonder if I can even trust him to sort out the honeymoon!

I wasn't really expecting Clydesdale bank to be so competitive with their loans so this has been a very welcome surprise for me. I was preparing to go with a different lender even though I would always prefer to use my own bank for a loan of this amount. Searching through all the loan comparison websites I could see that I really wasn't going to get a much better offer than what Clydesdale bank were quoting me so I felt happy going with my own bank for this loan and keeping everything simple and straightforward, which has always been my modus operandi!

I'm getting married next year, the important things like the church and the reception venue are booked so I am not panicking too much. But I did start to see that the money we have managed to save up for the wedding was diminishing at a vast rate of knots and so my fiance and I decided we needed a bit more if we were going to avoid having to cut corners and compromise on things at the last minute. So I took it upon myself to take out a small personal loan with Clydesdale Bank which is just for a 1 year period. I've got a really good rate for this loan and it will be paid back within a few months of married life so we aren't going to be burdening ourselves with too much debt at the start of our married life. I know once we have settled down and started our family we will be going without a lot of things so we felt we owed it to ourselves to have the wedding of our dreams before we start a family and our priorities have to change. Clydesdale Bank have been brilliant sorting out this loan for me and I just wanted to say thank you with this review.
