Lloyds Bank (LloydsBank.com) is one of the UK’s largest and most reputable banks, with many happy customers who benefit from their savings and financial services. Customers of Lloyds Bank who hold a current account are eligible for the bank’s Flexible Personal Loan, a loan which has been designed to suit a wide variety of financial needs and purposes. Customers who take out a personal loan from Lloyds Bank can use it for whatever they see fit, whether they want to buy a new car, an engagement ring, or make improvements on their home – once the loan is approved, it’s yours to spend as you see fit.

If you’re looking to take out a personal loan from Lloyds Bank, you can use the bank’s website’s loan calculator tool to work out how much the amount you need to borrow will cost you over time. The interest rate will be set depending on the amount you want to borrow and how long you think you’ll need to pay it back. You can then go on to receive a more personalized quote through Lloyds’ online banking, and could then receive an instant decision on your application.

All Lloyds Bank personal loans fall between £1,000 and £25,000, and must be repaid over a period of one to five years. Customers can access longer term loans, but the interest rates will vary. To avoid paying back a higher amount in interest, it’s always cheaper to opt for a shorter term on the lowest possible rate. Customers will have the chance to pay back their personal loan earlier than expected without additional charges.

If you don’t have access to online banking, you can also apply for a Lloyds Bank personal loan by going into your local Lloyds Bank branch and speaking to a member of staff. You can also get more information and discuss loans by calling the bank’s contact number.

Hello, I wanted to include my experience of taking out a Lloyds Bank personal loan so that other people looking for a loan can get a sense of what the process is like.I took a loan out from Lloyds Bank last year to make some general improvements on my home. I have a mortgage from Lloyds, which I am still paying off, and was hoping to make improvements in order to increase the value of my home. I’d like to be able to sell it in the future and hopefully make a bit of a profit. Renovations and additions can definitely add up, especially with construction rates these days, so I wanted a personal loan that I could use to pay for the improvements- I figured it was something of a long term investment in my home. After speaking to the staff at Lloyds who had helped me out with my mortgage, I decided that one of Lloyds’ Flexible Personal Loans would be perfect for my circumstances. The repayments terms are really good- you can pick the length that’s most realistic for you (for me this was about four years), and get a personalised rate. The adviser offered me a rate that I was comfortable with based on my income and outgoing expenses, and the loan was mine!As usual, the Lloyds Bank staff were knowledgeable, helpful and efficient, and the process was faster than you might expect. I walked into the bank with nothing and walked out with the amount I needed to pay for the renovations and improvements. They don’t lend you more than you can pay back, and the whole process is upfront and honest. I’m as happy as ever with the financial service I get from Lloyds Bank and won’t be switching anytime soon.

I was already a Lloyd’s customer, so I thought I’d try them first- better the devil you know and all that. I’d had good service from them in my years as customer so thought it was a good place to start. I was so pleased with what they told me that, even though I checked out a few others just to make sure I wasn’t missing out, I came back thankfully to the great deal that Lloyds offered. I actually went into my branch to get the original quote as I work very close to it, but I decided to complete the process online when I’d had a think about it and done some other research. The online application was as easy as pie. There’s a calculator on the website so you can work out the interest, time span and repayments that suit you, and the decision was almost instant. I liked several things about the whole experience: the staff in the branch were friendly and informative, the online progression was extremely easy to manage, and the money was in my account before I needed it- which was a definite plus. I don’t think you can go wrong with an established name like Lloyds. They know what they are doing, they’re safe and they’re efficient. All in all, it was a smooth stress free time.

I have to tell everyone how I personally feel about this particular personal loans company! They have been my saving grace over the years and I am 100% faithful to them. I already have a loan with them from a few years back, which I am still paying off on a monthly basis. I needed their help a few weeks ago with another smaller loan so that I could get some new furniture for our home, as ours was already falling apart - small kids, need I say more! They were so helpful when I called them for assistance and they were more than willing to help me with any questions that I had. Our family was so happy when we got the email telling us that we had been approved for the loan that we needed so much. The flexible personal loans that Lloyds offers are prefect for everyone's situation. You get to choose how much you need and how long you need to pay it back. The interest rate that you are offered is very reasonable when compared to other companies who offer the same services. The staff at Lloyds are welcoming and friendly, ready to assist you with almost anything that you need and if they cannot directly help you, they will find someone within the group who has the ability to assist you with your needs. The professionals from this personal loan company are able to assist you with a loan from £1,000 to £25,000, depending on your individual needs and assessments.

As one of the most well-known and trusted banks around, this bank offers some great personal loans. Despite the fact that their representative APR is actually fairly high, they still get plenty of people applying for personal loans because of their reputation and great customer service. At Lloyds, you really do get a personal service and your loan is made just for you to suit you. This means you can loan the exact amount of money that you want for as long as you want. The honest approach of the bank mean that you will be advised and loaned an amount that you can pay back. Unlike many other companies that offer much lower APR, Lloyds really does care about the customer and has their best interest at heart. Like others, a customer can loan anywhere between £1,000 and £25,000 and the customer is much better off coming into the store in order to get their personalised loan. The representative 6.4% APR is a little higher than some of the other personal loan company's however the ease of repayments and customer service is well worth paying extra for.The loan can also be paid back early should your financial circumstances change and this is something which is absolutely free of charge, unlike many other banks that will charge you up to 58 days of interest in order to make an early repayment. This type of loan is extremely useful for those people looking for a short-term loan that they may be able to pay back early.

I am writing to praise the Lloyds TSB loans service. I have been a customer of Lloyds for several years now and recently applied for my first loan with the bank. I am adding a conservatory to my home and my windows company did offer me a loan for this renovation but I thought I would also try Lloyds to see if I could get a better deal.I have borrowed £8,000 from Lloyds over a term of five years and my monthly repayments are just over £150. I'm really happy with the loan I got, it's far better than the terms offered by the company that are supplying my conservatory. My Lloyds bank loan comes in at a fixed monthly repayments and the interest rate charged is 5.4% APR.I don't think I could have sourced a better loan anywhere but what really impressed me during the whole loan process was the helpful and courteous manner in which the customer service staff treated me. I applied for my loan on the telephone and Jenny, the telephone operator took me through the whole application process in a sympathetic way and finally told me my loan was approved with no problems. The money was paid into my current account on the date promised and I'm now waiting for the conservatory to be finished!

Lloyds TSB are probably one of the most well-known banks and offer a 6.4% APR representative rate for loans of £1,000 to £25,000. A loan can be taken out over a period of 12 to 60 months. The interest rate is exactly the same as NatWest and the Ulster Bank. If a £6,000 loan is taken out over a 48 month period, then monthly payments would be £156.33 and the total amount payable would be £7,503.64. Consequently, the interest rate increases to 11.9% when loans are taken out below a certain amount. Taken a loan out below £7,500 with Lloyds is not an advisable option because the interest rate is extremely high. Customers would be wise to seek another option and investigate other options if they plan to take out a loan less then the aforementioned amount. In the mentioned scenario the customer would end up paying £1,500 in interest and this seems an unviable option. Lloyds TSB has an extremely strong marketing campaign on all platforms and its brand is easily recognised because of the logo. Online reviews of Lloyds TSB loans are mixed and often site the high interest rate as a reason for staying away. Customer service is generally accepted as being excellent and their mortgage packages appear to be more appealing. Loans taken out with Lloyds TSB are probably taken out more by existing customers, rather then new customers because of the high rate of interest. Seemingly, Lloyds TSB need to take another look at their interest rates before they can properly compete with other online and high street lenders.

I have never had a product with Lloyds, but they kept coming up on loan comparison searches so I decided to investigate them further.I have seen some reviews online to say they are really efficient, and as I was using the loan for consolidation, it also benefitted me to get a loan through a company I have no other credit with. Rather than just go ahead and apply online, I decided to call and actually speak to a person, and I'm glad I did. After explaining my situation, the advisor, Tracy, took me through all of the possible options and advised me on what my options were within my affordable price range. Looking at all of the figures after I had gone through them on the phone made me realise the way I got myself into the mess of needing a loan consolidation was not leaving myself any leeway each month in case of an emergency like a problem with my car.I took out a loan with Lloyds and got the representative rate (although I wish to consolidate my debt my credit is by no means bad) which I was really pleased with. The loan was paid really quickly into my account, and thanks to the customer service advisor being so kind and helpful, I now have everything sorted and can make affordable monthly payments.

I ended up using Lloyds Bank because I did not want to take out a loan for a long period of time; I had to have some expensive dental work done and I wasn’t expecting to have the money for it within the next couple of months. They have better interest rates the faster you repay and also if you pick a short repayment term in the first place.I didn’t want to take out a loan for a long period of time, so I avoided most of the other providers, as their minimum terms were mostly one or more years. Lloyds was one of the only ones I could find where you could take out loans for just a few months. In the end I spoke to them over the phone and we agreed that a 6-month loan for £2,000 would be ideal for my needs, but I intended to pay it back within the next three months. They did a credit check on me over the phone and everything was okay. The money was transferred the next day and I was able to go to the dentist. All round great service!

When my wife fell sick, knew it was going to be a difficult task funding her treatment. My salary was barely enough for our upkeep and she was a stay-at-home mum. With all my options for getting money exhausted, I decided to take a personal loan. The first bank I approached was Lloyds. I have to admit I found their customer service excellent. Not only were they courteous and friendly, but also well-informed. I instantly decided to take a loan with them instead of shopping around for other banks. There was nothing complicated in their application process. In fact, at no time did I ever have to call them for any questions or clarification. A few minutes after my application, my loan was approved. I thought I would have to wait for 3 to 5 days. Amazingly, the money was sent to my account on that same day. I cannot describe how that loan was instrumental in giving my wife excellent medical treatment and care. She has now healed and I am about to finish my repayment. I cannot thank Lloyds enough.

Lloyds is one of the largest UK banks which has stood the test of time in offering customer friendly financial products. Lloyds gives loans which you can use for any purpose you deem fit without having to worry about restrictions. The Flexible Personal Loan which is available to current account holders in Lloyds banks is designed to meet different client’s needs. The representative APR for the loans is 6.4%, but different clients will get different rates depending on their past loan repayment histories, the amount being borrowed and the period of repayment the customer chooses. The amount available for borrowing can only fall within the range of £1,000 and £25,000, which is payable within 12 months to 60 months, whichever period you feel comfortable with. The interest rate that will be applicable to you can be known before the application process if you use the online banking loan calculator from Lloyds’ website. Decision is instant for online application of loans.UK citizens who are not fans of online banking, but need the Lloyds personal loan can visit the nearby Lloyds bank branch and get a quote from the staff. It can also be applied through a call by calling the call centre. A good lender will always have the option of early lump sum repayment if you get the money to do that. Lloyds seems to understand that by making it very easy and without any extra fee, unlike all other lenders who have a penalty for early repayment.

Two years ago, I was in the process of setting up a small business with my partner. I was still working full time while she was due to leave her job and take on the lion’s share of the work. The venture was a new experience for us, and although we had confidence in it, we knew it may be hard to sell our idea to others. We needed a fairly large loan for a lease and equipment. The loan was at the top end of what most of the banks offered. I didn't want the risk of going with a small lender and Lloyds seemed like a likely option. The length of term was important. In the short term, I was going to be paying the full amount with no reliable assistance from my partner. The 7 year term would spread the payments enough for me to cover them on my income at the time. The extra interest was a necessary evil but it would have been the same with any lender. We were happy to go down the route of a personal loan as a business loan would have required a more in-depth application and a less certain outcome. Now we are established, I am due to quit my job in the near future and work full time in the business. The loan payments are now covered by the business while I am setting aside a portion of my wages for my transition. For a large loan, the sign-up was pretty easy. Without it, we couldn't have made a serious go of our business. We are grateful for the financial backing and happy with the service provided to us.

At the time of applying for this loan I was in somewhat of a difficult situation financially, I was in the middle of switching jobs from a temporary to a permanent position elsewhere and as it transpired due to the switch from weekly to monthly pay I was going to be left with a substantial cash flow problem. I'm so glad that I was able to secure a personal loan from Lloyds, without the funds to tide me over I would have had no choice but to go to the likes of Amigo or Wonga who charge an extortionate amount of interest that hinders rather than helps.Putting aside my unique personal situation I was impressed with the overall experience I had with Lloyds TSB. I was happy with the rates and terms set out and felt the transaction went very well, with the funds deposited into my account with plenty of time to spare, which certainly put my mind at ease during a difficult period. The minimum loan amount of £1000 and the minimum term of 12 months were just right for me and the circumstances I was in, I was also dealing with a trusted provider safe in the knowledge that I was dealing with a recognised reputable bank.

Lloyd's Bank aims to satisfy their customers by helping them to choose the repayment terms that best suit their budget and needs. In order to apply for a loan, you must be a UK resident who is 18 or older. Once your loan is approved, you get the money instantly in your account. With Lloyd's Bank, you can borrow large or small amounts of money. Loans are available from £1,000 to £25,000. Personalised quotes are given to each customer and that does not have any impact on your credit rating. Lloyd's allows you to save by overpaying if you choose. You can also take a repayment holiday. Best of all, unlike other personal loan providers, Lloyd's does not charge you if you want to pay off your loan early. Lloyd's has very few cons associated with their service. The only drawback is that if you want to borrow less than £1,000, you cannot. At 14.9% APR, their interest rate is also very high. Lloyd's Bank is a really good option for people who need a personal loan. Their option to take a payment holiday, good service and the possibility of paying off the loan early without penalties are all good reasons to do business with them. They are recommended.

There comes a time in everybody's life when they have found the girl of their dreams and that special someone who they would love to spend the rest of their life with. Sadly though, even I found my dream girl and wanted to propose I didn't have enough money to secure the most perfect engagement ring. Luckily I was speaking to a friend of mine who was in a similar situation. He suggested that I apply for a personal loan to help buy the engagement ring to woo my girl with. I'm so glad that I took his advice because after searching out the best company for the job I finally settled on Lloyds . The main reason was that it had greats rates and quicker repayments than some other lenders. I never expected the process to be so quick and easy. Within less than a week I was approved and given the money. Of course, I immediately went out and purchased the perfect engagement ring. I haven't looked back since and don't regret anything. If it wasn't for the lovely people at Lloyds I don't think I would have ever proposed to my now fiancé this year. Next on my list of things to do is to actually get married! So, for anybody looking to make a dream come true, take the leap and apply for a loan at Lloyds.

For a bank that have been overwhelmingly praised for being honest and upfront, Lloyds TSB appear to be a great choice. A higher than average APR is easily countered and negated by the fact that customers with the bank can receive a fully personalised rate based in incomings and outgoings; this means that, if you earn less than the man next to you, your APR will potentially be lower, making it fairer for everyone on all steps of the ladder. Staff are universally acknowledged as being friendly, helpful, impartial and honest, and will happily drop what they're doing to see a 'walk in' customer there and then. Having been a previous customer of the bank, experience has been that it's possible to walk in at any time of day, and have funds in your Lloyds TSB bank account by the time you've left the branch. This is especially helpful for first time borrowers who have little or no credit history; Lloyds TSB's staff take a more personalised approach and look at your behaviour as their customer in order to make an informed decision. This goes a long way in today's personal loan market, where lenders begin and end with a look at your credit file. Repayment terms with Lloyds are very flexible too, meaning you can pay back within anything from 12 to 60 months, and with Lloyds' new flexible loans, there is also the facility to pay back early with no early repayment penalties. As with other high street banks, the competitive edge with Lloyds TSB is that they still have a high street presence, meaning you don't have to apply online or over the phone; you can sit with someone who can explain the loan in layman's terms and explain just what means what. It's no surprise that they have a stellar reputation from both new and existing borrowers.

Lloyds is a prominent bank in the UK. I used the personal credit facility of the bank for more than two times. I decided to use the bank for three reasons. First, I am a customer to the bank; I believe it is better for me to borrow from them because they already know my credit history and my personal details. Secondly, as a current account holder with the bank, I will benefit from the flexible terms they offer to their current account holders, which I am one of the holders. Thirdly, I liked the perfect way the bank treats its customers. Hence, I decided to apply for the loan. The application is quite simple and easy. With well-experienced staff and an excellent customer care my application was processed. I made the application online and got immediate approval. The paperwork was sent, signed, and submitted to them. The flexible terms of repayment are another thing that makes them unique.Borrowers have 12 to 60 months to repay their loans. In my case, I decided to choose a repayment period of 2 years because I do not want to owe the bank for a long time. The term is flexible enough for me to repay the loan and do other things with my income. The APR varies. Interests are rated according to the credit standing of loan applicants. It ranges from 6.4 to 11.43%.The customer service as I said earlier is perfect. I really valued the money I got from them. The application process is simple and easy. I recommend the bank, and I will continue to use their services.

After separating from my girlfriend, I found myself in a bit of a financial difficulty and went to Lloyds TSB to see how they can help. I called the customer service helpline and the advisor told me that a loan was a better solution than spending on a card. I had a chat with the lady on the phone, and she told me about the offers for existing customers, and the terms. I ended up going ahead with an application on the phone. The lady called Jane was very helpful and knew exactly what she was talking about. She asked relevant questions and we agreed that I should apply for 3000 pounds to cover the cost of moving and buying furniture and extra 2000 to cover my credit cards. She asked about my job, completed a professional financial review and told me that the application was accepted. I got a good rate from Lloyds, and the money arrived in my account in just three days. I was expecting for them to charge me documentation fees, as the last time I took out a loan I had to pay courier and documentation costs. I am really happy with the service and the loan. I can only recommend the service to other people.

Never believe what people say to you without checking! I learned my lesson when I needed to buy some expensive books for my study Japanese. Foolish as I was I stepped into the story of some elderly folks, telling me that I shouldn't go into a loan for that.Luckily I was able to escape before I signed anything and went to the Lloyds Bank website to read a totally different story! With my wages I was able to opt for a personal loan with a short term on a very low interest rate. I called the local Lloyd's Bank branch to confirm my interpretation which they did. End of story. Continuation of my study was guaranteed at low costs.

Need a loan from a bank without hustle, steady and secure? Check out Lloyds. Why? Because the bank's personal loan program is one of the most flexible there are within the UK.No limit to what you want to use it for, no other questions asked besides a few queries about your personal situation (obvious). The application is easy and done within moments. I opted for a loan online via the bank's website but its just as convenient to go to a Lloyds Bank branch in the area where you live. Important: paying back earlier then planned is not fined, as other banks used to do. With Lloyds there are no extra charges which is unique, I know.

I went to open my loan account an so i initially started this by doing the application online. An when i told i was accepted i decided to sign and seal the deal in person. Then went to the branch in Bolton the following day to show my identification and payslips and sign for the loan and receive my money. This did not go to plan as i hope. They could not find my application or my reference details i had to doing my application. A member of there financial team made an appointment for me and i had to apply for the loan again in the branch. This was an small inconvenience but Lee did take care of me when dealing with this new application and i was happy this one always went threw and i signed for it in person. Lee then arranged for the money to be sent in to my bank account, he was very helpful and well trained in his job. I had lee's number at the Bolton branch so if i had any problems i will deal with him.

Appalling service received from Lloyds from the outset of choosing to open a personal loan account with them I have had to do all the chasing around. I applied for a small loan to make a few changes to my bathroom as i was tired of always having a shower and would love a bath to relax for a change. I applied online for a loan of £2750 over 2 year period and i had nothing but issues. The application took me around 45 minuets and error messages online and then once i applied i was given a manual reply. No one contacted me threw phone or email over the next 2 days, so then i had to make multiple calls to Lloyd before someone contacted me back to find out whats going on.Once I was called back, i could check on the status of my application and to ask why I have not been contacted as promised. I spoke with a manager who was very apologetic and assured me this was a one off and they were having alot of problems online and with there systems. All my details were then taken again from him, and I was told I would receive details of the account to sign and return within 5 days. This did happen and sent back, everything else with the loan was done as promised from the manager (marc) who contacted me, and since i had had no other problems with lloyds bank.

I must say that my family and i have a number of accounts with Lloyds Bank and between the family members and i we cant fault them. Having been with a number of banks over the years and Lloyds seems to be much better than others. The staff are excellent but the automated system leaves something to be desired it makes simple transactions harder and longer to do. For example if you want to transfer money from one account to another within the Lloyds bank. It is not easy but it is immediate. It is a long process and is a lot faster to do online or in the bank. I find a lot of there simple automated options when selected take at longer to do. Often numbers are not recognized and repeatedly typing the number in to telephone system.Lloyds bank Online is user friendly and easy to log into your account, i have only been using this online option recently since applying for a loan. The application was so simple to complete and the whole process took around three working days to sign and complete for the money to be in my Lloyd's bank account. Some of there services are fantastic and others still need a bit of tweaking.Keep up the good work Lloyds staff very happy with your service!

I have never felt compelled to write about my experiences with a bank until now, and im happy to do so. My opinion of most banks from previous experience is that they are all the same and not entirely helpful but happy to take the money. I am loyal to a bank based on the way I have been treated as a human being and not a number. I have realized that since joining Lloyds they have treated me with kindness and respect and taken the time to deal with any and every enquiry and request, i have had.So thank you lloyds bank for given me an honest banking service and treating me as a customer. Keep up the hard work and great customer service!

Me and my girlfriend had of a bit of a bumpy start with Lloyds Bank but I decided to give them another chance and i am happy that we did.We moved everything over to Lloyds when we applied a few months ago for a personal loan. The APR rate was to good to say No and when we were accepted to though we might as well transfer our bank account to Lloyds also. No problem what so ever with the loan application and paper work, this was sorted with in around 10 days. The paper work to bring the bank accounts over was a mess. We were looking to have one account with Lloyds and this would be a joint account. This was to be transfered from two other banks into one with lloyds and was promised this would be taken care off and would be simple to do.Took around 6 weeks and missed bill payments and mix up of Direct debits. I am just glad to be told everything is fixed. But i am not impressed with how long this has taken. So overall I do have a feeling I'm going to be happy banking with Lloyds in the long run. Just a little annoyed that it's taken over a 2 month to get me signed up and everything to be up and working.

I signed up online for a personal loan to buy a new quad bike for my 12 year old sons birthday present. The application process was easy but I noticed a few small mistake with my address but there was not a way for me to change this online. So I just assumed they would be able to fix it at their end and submit the application. I then since contacted lloyds online to let them know about my address error and my application number so this could be processed. I was contacted two days letter threw email to call LLoyds to complete the application. This was all taken care of from by the adviser over the phone and my loan was approved and the money put into my current account. I have been happy with the service since becoming a lloyds customer and i hope this great service continues.

Lloyds are not terrible, but they are not great. I would say Lloyds are a good company I've not been very impressed with any bank i have been with since the financial changes in the uk banks in the past 6 years. I moved all my personal accounts over to lloyds after having some problems with my old bank after i claimed back the bank charges for my 11 years duration with them. Everyone was doing it at the time and the service and bad attitude i got from the company for doing this was horrible. Was enough to make me leave and i am ok in doing so.Since then i now have my personal account with Lloyd that is linked to my personal loan also this is threw LLoyds. I decided to go with lloyds than other banks due to there various options of loan repayments and good APR at only 3.8% They linked my accounts together and i have an application on my phone to manage me accounts.I hope to continue to have a good service with lloyds.

I opening a new personal loan account for a new business venture and thought I would try Lloyds although I personally banked with there competitor.I had recently passed my driven instructors test and need to buy a new car with duel controls to start given my own lessons. The car i was offered threw my job at DVLA was older and run down than i expected and i had passed my test in a new converted mini cooper and wanted to get my own car suitable for work. I had found a pre owned mini cooper s and could get this fitted for my job for all under £10000 It is alot of money and not an easy dessision after spending £1200 of my own money to be come fully qualified this was more money i needed to invest in my future. I contacted LLoyds as on comparison websites they offer a very good loan rate over with only a 2 year repayment period. I done my application in a local branch with Karen a financial planning manager and and rate i was given was satisfied to my needs and was still cheaper than what my own bank offered me. Good overall service with LLoyds

I made an appoitment at my local bank in mid lothian on a Saturday. The website says they are open but when i got there, oh no sorry that service is not available today. I was offered to make a new appointment monday to friday, i cant not do due to work, or a phone number to call up and apply or apply online. I do understand the other options and happy they are so many but it was an in convince to go into the branch and be told i can speak with to someone about lending.I only wanted to apply for the loan in person as this is the fastest way to get the money. The women in my local branch understood my situation and was only apologetic as nothing could be done. I did apply online for the loan and it has been accepted. The same branch did organised for me to go in a sign the paper work on a saturday so this was helpful of them so it was done a little faster. I had the money in my bank on the monday.Been with these for years and every year they frustrate me, so I'm off to try another bank as Sandbach branch is rubbish and so is the management of Lloyds which make all the enforced rules which remove coman sence!

I have a Lloyds credit card for a few years now and haven taken advantage of the rewards and 0 % APR benefits when we originally taken this out. Also the reward points you get are a great option and can save you money from time to time. I have been happy with my credit card service. When my APR ran out on my Master card with Tesco i had a small out standing balance and no room on my credit card with lloyds so i called up to look at my options. Speaking with Tony in credit card department she gave me alot of advise and suggested a personal loan. I was put in contact with Shaun at lending department who gave me info on loan options and let me go away to think about this. Shaun personal called me a few days later and ran thew the loan application with me. I applied for enough money to close both my credit cards down and in to one monthly payment. Shaun also told me in future i can always re apply for a credit card with lloyds and take advantage of future deals.Shaun was extremely helpful and can not thank him enough for everything he has done to help me. Shaun service is invaluable to llyods bank, very lucky indeed to have someone like him working for them. The customer service was excellent and exceeded my expectations.Lloyds Bank are a company that knows how to put the customer first.

At the time i applied to a loan i was needing help financially with all my monthly payments. Each month i found my self with less and less money for myself to last threw out the month. I had so many expensive outgoings and was looking to make some changes. I had a look at lloyds online to make sure these types of options were available to me and was happy to see there was a few options for myself. I messaged online the local branch to make an appointment. I do not remember the person who i dealt with direct, as this has been along time since i originally took out the loan. The loan was organised all on the same day and paper work and copies were given to me, i still have these some where. I always remember Lloyds have been helpful and friendly every time i have contacted them. I have been more than happy with my service.

Recently i have been contacted by lloyds to remind me my personal loan is coming to an end. I borrowed £3000 over 10 months ago with my local bank to pay for my stag weekend in las vegas USA.The most trusted and decent bank in the United Kingdom. There was Nothing, no hidden charges or costs when taken my loan.No hidden surprises and not had to contact anyone since originally taken out the loan. Good customer service and they offer a fantastic online and mobile access for all my banking needs. I have been with Lloyds as a business customer for 5 years and will never change this, and i have had an easy experience as a personal customer too.

I have had my Lloyds under 19 account for quite some time now. So i contacted lloyds to look into changing this as i needed a maestro debit option. Speaking with wendy about account upgrade options she also told me about lending and insurance options. Wendy was helpful and arranged info to be emailed to me and an appointment at my local branch. Wendy was right when telling me all the paper work was better in person, saved me time.I was looking into a maestro account so i could have the option to set up direct debits and pay bills as i was looking to get car insurance and breakdown cover i needed to have an account that i could do this from. Also an account to could buy things online from. There was a lot of things i was limited to do with a 19 account plus i was 20 now. Not only did Wendy help with this, putting me in contact with the branch i was able to apply for a car loan. Buying a new car is not cheap and having a little extra money i can buy the car i want and not the one i was budgeting for.Staff always have been so helpful and also every branch I have been into always has a nice easy layout and friendly service. Mobile and Internet banking is secure and very well laid out. Could not fault lloyds bank they continue to help me.

I went into the Branch to get advise on lending and tried to see if they knew anything or could look at options with me and the accounts there and then. They said someone would ring me back the next day with an appointment or i could make an appointment online or apply online. Its had been 2 working days and no ones phoned me back and i could not go into the local branch. So i then phoned the telephone banking number for new account line, was once again placed on hold for so long, passed threw to someone else, put on hold again. I did not go threw with the application or have enough time to look at this process as the hold time and being put threw to the correct person to help was so long. They did make me an appointment to go into a branch to see Karen Anderson.Karen was extremely helpful and apologetic for the service i had received in trying to get an appoitment/ I felt karen was grateful i was still looking to keep my service with lloyds bank and by the end of the whole process i was happy to be staying with lloyds bank.I would like to say a big thank you to Karen and i would be coming to see your personal in future.

I have a normal current account linked to my lloyds personal loan account. I make my payments monthly online from my business account into lloyds account. I have done this for years now with no issues.Like it says.... there has been no issues with lloyds bank. They are reliable and trustworthy company and I have never had problems with security on the website. No missed payments and no issues with my i phone application. Which is the most important thing when making monthly payments on time having easy access to doing so.Online website is very simple to use and takes me a few minuets to do any bill payments or funds transfers i need to do. There app do not let me do as much as i can do online so it is great to have both service options available.

I have had good and bad service with lloyds.I have had my bank account and ISA with lloyds tsb for 8 years and counting. The online banking service is fantastic and deserves a 5 star rating, as this service has never let me down.Customer service staff are really nice but getting things done falls short, so that is the reason for only giving a 3 star rating. I was assurance that a DD for my personal loan, with lloyds as well would leave me account on 28th of the month then had left my account on the 1st of the first month. Customer service was good but there was so many small mix ups and payment returned as no funds in account, then getting around to fixing bank charges. That was only last Friday and I am still waiting for the charges to appear back into my bank account. My loan account was set up over the telephone and was done in around 10 days once i sent the documentation back. and APR was reasonable. I would rate them a 3 star for this.

I approached Lloyds about a student overdraft and the male member of staff told me that they don't do student overdrafts any more, She Instead told me of other offers options of lending and continued to ask me questions on what i needed the money for. I feel this member of staff has done a great job in matching me to my new personal loan. I did not apply with this member off satff, i do not remember the name. I did make a branch appointment to speak with someone there. My first appointment i did need to cancel and re book this and was a little tricky to do with out calling up. Could be made easier. Since my first original call it was around 16 days before everything was finalized and i have the money. I though doing this in branch would be faster as i was told this but getting hold of the branch unles going in is not so easy. Happy with the service and would recommend online, website is easy to use. Just need to look around and find what you need.

I opened my first account with LloydsTSB as a naive teenager. I wanted a basic current account to pay my wages in to every month. Little did I know at the time a underhanded member of staff had signed me up for a select account. That i was charged £10 per month. This was not what i wanted or agreed so I returned to the bank and asked him to change this for me. I was told how sorry they were about this mix up and they were experiencing system problems and to come back in to get this done. Due to the time scale and going back into the bank this could not be done and was an on going dispute with lloyds.I made an appointment to speak with Branch Manager in Irvin and demanded to close down my account and to stop the progress of my loan application and my insurance transfer to lloyds. I had not signed the paper work due to the problems i had with the bank account. You have no idea how angry i was to find out that my bank account had passed its cooling off period due to system errors at the bank, or so i was told this. I was stuck with a 12 month bank account and to pay £120 for this. This was refunded to me there and then as i was told this could not be done every month but could give me the full amount now. There service and confidence that was restored back in to the service given by lloyds was done by there branch manager at the time. He also got my loan approved while i was in the branch and money in my account by the time i left. He got all the paper work signed and everything set up for me. He also took care of all the insurance paper work and has a female colleague helping him at the same time to help me get everything organised to keep me as a customer. Due to no fault of my own i had a few problems but thanks to hard working and caring management my whole experience was turned around an i am satisfied with the outcome.

I have been a client of lloyds Bank for the last 15 years. I hold a current account with them and a savings account. I'm a happy customer. My daughter is getting married in November and we are getting ready for a big wedding. I know it will cost me a significant amount, so instead of using all my savings I've asked for part of the money as a personal loan. Before asking Lloyds for £8000, I checked with two other institutions what they offered, however decided in favour of Lloyds. As they are a very reputable bank I felt safer with them. The interest rate that I have to pay over 48 months is not too excessive, pretty much within the norm. I applied on line but then went to the branch near me to just clarify a few things. They were most helpful. My loan was granted with no headaches and I'm pleased it went smoothly.

When I decided to propose to my girlfriend of 3 years my mates at work really spooked me when they said you had to spend at least 3 months salary on the ring. That being the case I would need to seriously reconsider the proposal or just bite the bullet and get a loan to pay for it.My girlfriend means the world to me and putting off the proposal wasn't really an option for me so I did the sensible thing and applied for a personal from my bank. I have been with Lloyds for 10 years since leaving school and I have a good relationship with my local branch so after checking out their loan calculator online I then went into my branch and spoke to their loan advisor who just happened to have got engaged himself so he fully understood the importance of getting the right ring. It would seem that this is one area where size definitely does matter so I am glad Lloyds Bank were able to help solve that particular problem.

I have had several personal loans from Lloyds Bank since I first opened my account with them nearly twenty years ago and I have always been satisfied with the agreements. Now that you can make your applications online and even work out how much it will cost by using the online loan calculator tool it makes things even easier. So long as Lloyds continue to offer me a competitive rate in line with the other High Street banks I will always go to them first. This most recent loan is very competitive and I am reassured by that. If I think I can get a better deal somewhere else I will ask Lloyds if they can match it. If not I will go with the other loan. Its as simple as that.

I took out my first personal loan with Lloyds 2 years ago to pay for some building work on the property my wife and I had just bought. Within a year we had done the building work and sold the property for a very nice profit that well exceeded the cost of the loan. This enabled us to pay back the loan earlier than anticipated but without incurring any additional charges. So it is no surprise that I have just applied for and been approved a second loan a similar building project but this time my wife is insisting that when the work is finished we get to live in the property for a few years before selling it.

I wasn't too keen on the idea of borrowing money for anything as I had always been brought up to believe that if you wanted something badly enough you should save for it. But getting a personal loan to pay for my daughter's wedding threw all those principles out of the window when we discovered she was three months pregnant. My parents would have been mortified to see their granddaughter walking down the aisle looking obviously pregnant and so we had to organise the wedding very quickly. My relationship with my local branch of Lloyds Bank was very good and they did all they could to speed up the loan process so that we could go ahead and plan the wedding. I am sure I would not have got such a quick response if I had gone somewhere else for the loan so I just want to thank Lloyds Bank for all their help and co operation.

I just wanted to thank Lloyds Bank for approving my recent personal loan. I was in a bit of a mess financially and just wanted to consolidate all my debts and get back to normal. With their help and advice I borrowed enough to pay off all my debts without struggling to make the repayments and I was even left with a nice little sum to keep my bank balance in the black for the next few months.Hopefully if I have to get another loan with Lloyds it will be to buy something nice like a holiday or something instead of clearing old debts.

Up until recently I only considered my bank account with Lloyds as somewhere my wages got paid into and where the money to pay the bills came out of. I had never had the need for a personal loan and had managed all these years to get by paying cash for most things and never using a credit card. But times change and when my wife was seriously ill I promised her we would go on a cruise when she was well again and to make sure I kept my promise I spoke to my local branch manager and asked about getting a personal loan to pay for. I am delighted to say my wife is fully recovered now and thanks to Lloyds Bank we are going our first ever cruise. Well its true what they say, there is always a first time for everything.

When the opportunity came up to buy a little strip of land at the bottom of our garden I was delighted because it had been causing us no end of trouble due to people trespassing on it and dumping all sorts of rubbish. After speaking to my local branch manager at Lloyds we managed to get a personal loan approved for the amount of money we needed to purchase the land and a bit extra so that we could pay to have some new fencing erected to make sure there was no more trespassing or dumping. It was certainly worth the money for the bottom of our garden looks lovely now and will certainly have added a bit of value to our property.

I consider myself quite competent when it comes to using computers but when it came to applying for a personal loan with Lloyds I was much happier dealing with someone face to face. Dont get me wrong, I did all the usual loan comparisons online and checked out Lloyds online loan calculator before meeting with the loan advisor at my local branch. He was very impressed that I had done my research first and said it was very important for borrowers to be well informed before agreeing to any loan. Within a week of our meeting I had a loan agreement I was happy with and the money in my account the next day.

I applied for a personal loan with Lloyds Bank to pay for the work that needed to be done to create a granny annexe for the wife's mother who had just been widowed and was unable to live on her own anymore.I had looked at a couple of other loan companies but my instincts told me to just go with the bank I have used and been happy with for the past 30 years. Lloyds didn't let me down and within a fortnight of applying I had the moneyin my account and the work on the granny annexe is well under way and should be ready for the mother in law to choose the paint colours any day now!

After discussing it with my wife I decided to get a loan from Lloyds Bank to pay for the membership fee to my local golf club. Up until then I had only been allowed to play there as a guest and I had been on the waiting list for a couple of years. My membership application had finally been accepted and I was up against a deadline to confirm things and pay the fees.I spoke to my local branch manager who happens to be a keen golfer himself and so he was fully aware of the prestige that comes with the membership and said he would do his best to speed the loan process up so that I didn't miss the deadline for putting in my membership acceptance. In return for his help I have invited him along as my guest for a round of golf and the obligatory pint of beer at the 19th hole.

My husband is pretty good at earning the money but not so good with the management of it and so that has always been my role up to now and it is something that I am happy to do as I have worked in several financial institutions for most of my adult life. When we decided to take out a personal loan recently to help pay for the eldest son to set himself up in a small business venture I did my usual online checks with the loan comparison website but was delighted to find that our bank Lloyds was still as competitive as the other major High Street banks and most of the other new loan companies. It therefore made my task a lot easier when applying for the loan. When you have a busy life and a million and one things to do it really helps if your regular bank can provide just as good a loan option than the specialist loan companies. I would always recommend using the comparison website first but don't dismiss your regular bank without giving them the opportunity to give you a quote too.

My parents opened their first bank account with Lloyds when they moved to the UK in the 1960's and are still customers to this day. It was just a natural thing for my brothers and me to follow them when we were opening our first bank account after leaving school.I think our family loyalty to Lloyds must be paying off because we have all had a very good relationship with our branch managers and when I applied for a personal loan recently I was given the undivided attention of the loan advisor at my local branch and came away with the approval of my loan with the promise that the money would be deposited into my account by the end of the week. My family have had similarly good service when applying for their loans and I think that is why we all choose to remain with Lloyds Bank.

I don't mind admitting that I am not a particular fan of these modern loan companies with strange names and when I am looking for a loan I prefer to go down the more traditional route. for me it is not just about who is offering the lowest interest rate but more about knowing that loan agreement is tailored to suit my individual circumstances. My personal loan with my bank Lloyds is just that and I am sure I would not be saying the same had I gone elsewhere for the loan. Being able to discuss my requirements face to face with the loan advisor at my local branch was very helpful to me and that is not something I would have got from an online loan company.

My personal loan with Lloyds Bank has just been approved and they have been extremely helpful from the beginning to make sure the loan agreement is right for my particular requirements and affordability. When I made my initial inquiry over the phone I said I was worried about taking a loan out that would stretch my budget too much each month and so the loan advisor suggested I visit my local branch and go through some figures with her before committing myself to any loan agreement. The result is I have a loan for the amount I needed and the repayments are well within my budget. I don't think I would have got such a good service with an online loan company.

I have been a Lloyds customer since leaving college and wouldn't dream of changing banks because they have been brilliant right from the word go, offering good advice on all sorts of things to do with managing my money. So when I got engaged last month and started planning my wedding I knew straight away that I would be applying for a personal loan with them.I did look online to see what sort of interest rates were being offered by other banks and loan companies but to be honest the slight differences were not enough to make me want to go elsewhere. I suppose if you are desperate and need the money in your bank within hours of applying then maybe those other loan companies would be a better option but for me the main thing was just getting a loan that was well planned and tailored to suit my particular needs and Lloyds have just given me that.

My best friend gave me the idea when she said don't get mad get even. Which is why I got a personal loan from Loyds Bank to buy my very own little sportscar and the look on my husband's face when I showed him it was priceless. I have been with Lloyds Bank for many years but they weren't my first choice when I was looking for a personal loan a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I got drawn into the trend for online loan company applications and before I knew it I had agreed to a personal loan that really didn't suit my personal situation at the time and the repayment schedule was not ideal for my affordability. I was glad when the final repayment was made and I could relax and not worry each month. This time I have gone down the traditional route and applied to my local branch of Lloyds for a loan to help with the cost of my daughters wedding and I am confident that the loan arrangement that has just been agreed will be far less stressful than the previous one. Sometimes traditional is the best way and being able to walk my daughter down the aisle at her wedding is all thanks to Lloyds Bank and their traditional but still very competitive way of providing loans to their customers.

I haven't taken out a personal loan with Lloyds Bank for many years but I was very happy with the terms and conditions of the loan at the time and so I didn't hesitate to go to them first when I needed another loan recently to pay for a once in a lifetime trip to South Africa for me and my wife.I did take my son's advice and check out the loan comparison website but after an hour or two I was beginning to get confused about who was offering the best deal. I did manage to figure out what the average rate of interest would be for the amount I wanted to borrow and so I simply called my branch of Lloyds Bank and asked if they could match that figure. They assured me they could give me a very competitive rate for the amount I wanted and so we went straight ahead and started the loan application. After a visit to my local branch to sign the relevant documents a week later the money was in my account. We have booked our trip to South Africa and will be sending a postcard to our local branch of Lloyds to say thank you for all their help.

Also what I liked about Lloyds is that I did not have to apply on line. I feel its impersonal and personally hate it. We are just numbers. By hearing the reps voice on the other side of the line I feel a lot safer and am able to enquire on certain points. I requested £5000 over 4 years for some improvements to my apartmen and had an answer immediately. I thank them for the guidance and the help. It is so nice to see in todays day and age.

My name is Laura Barham and I live and work just outside of Manchester. Myself and my boyfriend decided it was time to move to better instalations as our cottage will be a little tight now that our twins are soon to be born. To move and refurbish our new place we needed to take out a loan of £4000. It was difficult to make a decision on which bank to contact for this, as the choices are plenty and doubt sets in... It was only because my sister vouched for Lloyds that I went ahead with them. The fact that one can pay the loan off before the time with no extra charges interested me, so Lloyds it was! I have to congratulate them for their professionalism as they were on the ball all the way.

What made me apply for a loan with Lloyds bank was the fact that they are one of the few banks that do not make you pay a penalty fee if at any stage you are in a position to pay back your loan before the end of the due time and decide to.That is very fair as others charge you interest if you do so, or don't even allow it at all. This is the main reason why I requested £22000 over 5 years to do some alterations. If all goes as planned in our lives and we cash out one of our insurance policies, we actually will be able to pay it al back in 2 years time and save a considerable amount in interest.I discussed this in depth with the bank's representative over the phone, which was extremely convenient.I liked the way they handled the whole application.

Then, suddenly , one week before our trip my sister phoned me in tears... Her husband had walked out on her after a 15 years marriage. She was distraught...and so was I as we are very close. I decided the only way I could help her would be by taking her mind off it all by inviting her to come along with us. The problem was, I did not have any cash spare. Breaking my own rules I applied to Lloyds bank for a personal loan of £2000 over a 24 month period and hoped it would be granted and quickly. Indeed it was and my sister was able to join us. I would like to thank Lloyds for their speed at approving my loan.

I normally save for my holidays as I do not believe in borrowing money and paying interest for luxuries. But this time I had do go against my own rules when my daughter suddenly announced she was getting married in Australia and ofcourse wanted us at the wedding. It was time for me to take an unexpected holiday, as money or no money I had to be there on her very special day.I approached a bank who offered me the £6000 euro loan I needed but asked for very high interest rates, so I tried a second bank. Lloyds! They offered me a fair deal and the payments over 36 months were not too high so I decided to accept their terms and sign on the dotted line.A positive rule of theirs is to allow clients to pay the loan back before due time and not be penalised. That is unusual and a strong point in their favour.

I have been comparing, with various bank website calculators how much I will pay on a £3000 loan.Different banks offered different features, charges and interest rates as can be expected, but the wisest is to try and find a good balance overall. It was a tedious slow search that required patience and I compared different options for days. When I was satisfied that this was probably one of the best deals around I went ahead and applied on line for the loan.It was approved and given to me over a 24 month period, with the guarantee that I could settle it at anytime if I came into unexpected cash. That is a good feature that must gain them many clients I guess.

In 2012 I got in a car accident, luckily no one was too seriously injured but I have had some ongoing whiplash and back injuries. I was doing physio but I wanted to somehow accelerate my full recovery so I looked into a personal trainer, osteopath, and massage. I did not have enough to budget for this so I approached Lloyds where I have done banking for 12 years. I took the max payment of 5 years, as it brought me to a reasonable £100 payback per month. Process was surprisingly simple and easy, will recommend to friends and/or family with similar needs.

My family has always used Lloyds and I started my own savings account when I was eleven. I took out a graduate loan with them to finance my education several years ago and was quite happy with the process so when I needed a loan again for purchasing a summertime RV I went right to them. No need to look further, they offered a competitive APR rate and a lot of flexibility. I was impressed with the customer rep who actually advised me to take out a bit less so I was sure I could afford it, versus advising me "more is better". All in all, I'm satisfied.

Before going to Lloyds Bank for a loan to buy my new car I did look on the car loan comparison website to get a general idea of what the current interest rates are for this sort of loan, but to be honest until you start putting in your own personal details and requirements you don't really get an accurate idea of what it will cost you. Choosing a lender based on their advertised APR isn't necessarily the right way to go.As I have been with Lloyds Bank since leaving school nearly 15 years ago I decided to keep things simple and just get a quote from them before committing myself to anything. Low APRs weren't really the issue for me but what was important was getting a loan that was suited to my situation and affordability. And who better than my own bank to give me that loan. Lloyds Bank came up with the goods and so I am glad I went for their loan option instead of jumping in feet first with the lender advertising the lowest APR.

I just wanted to say how delighted and very impressed I am with Lloyds Bank for the way they have just handled my recent personal loan.I spent hours online looking at different loan options and was really not sure what I should be looking for in terms of what was best for me. My boyfriend had recently taken out a loan with one of the well known online lenders and wasn't very happy with the eventual loan set up they gave him. I didn't want to make that mistake and so I decided to play safe and just go with my own bank.I am so glad I did because Lloyds Bank have just approved a loan with a very competitive APR and more importantly a convenient and affordable repayment schedule which sadly my boyfriend didn't get from his lender. He is pleased that I leant from his mistake and so am I.

When my wife stopped work to have our first child we decided she would need her own car. We went online and eventually found a lender that we thought would be right for us. Well we did get the loan and buy the car but we have regretted it ever since because the loan really wasn't tailored to our specific financial circumstances and we struggled with the repayments. That was five years ago and we have certainly leaned a valuable lesson when it comes to loans. Mainly that is isn't just about getting a low APR and that is why we have gone to our own bank for this current loan to help with some DIY work that we want to do on our house. After sitting down with our local branch's Loan Adviser we came away with an ideal loan package tailored to suit our monthly affordability so there will be no struggle each month making the repayments which was our biggest worry. We just want to thank Lloyds Bank for their time and patience in making sure we went away feeling satisfied with the loan they had set up for us.

I wanted to surprise my kids and give them the skiing holiday of a life time that they had dreamed of for quite a while. They needed new ski clothes and equipment and I did not want to use my savings. I decided to look into a personal loan with my bank, which was Lloyds in the high street. I did do some research first to make sure I was going in the right direction. There are many lenders with varying interest rates and criteria that you have to meet.I stuck with Lloyds and went onto their website as I believed they offered the best deal. I knew the amount I needed and when I used their online calculator to determine the repayment amount, it was certainly affordable. I decided on the short term option to get an even better rate of interest and believe I hit the jackpot. So I continued with the application and it was approved, which was great. The money was available within a few days and I took the kids shopping for their clothes and ski equipment.

I had to help my niece last month when she ran out of money because she overspent on her holiday. I can remember when I was 21...how easy it was to overdo it...and her being that age and having gone on holiday to the Greek Islands with her female friends, it was obvious it would happen. She phoned me 4 days into her 10 day holiday to ask me please to deposit £800 into her bank account as she needed it badly. As the minnimum one can borrow is £1000 I applied to Lloyds bank for a loan and asked to repay it over 12 months. The decision was quick, the loan was granted and I was able to deposit the money into my nieces account 48h later. I saved her holiday with the help of Lloyds and Im thankful to them.

Summer is over but its the best time of the year to go on holiday to certain warm countries where its still warm, pleasant and the flights and hotels are cheaper. I found a lovely deal on the internet for myself, wife and 2 kids. As they are not school age its so much cheaper to take them now that its cooler but still nice. I booked to go to the Algarve for 10 days and what a pleasure it was! The weather was around 21 degrees and we could even sit by the pool and go to the beach. As I did not have the spare cash I applied to Lloyds bank, in fact it was so simple, as I applied on line at like 3am. I requested £1000 as I had saved some money too. I asked to pay over 1 year so that the interest would be lower. They accepted and approved our application and tks to them we had a lovely time and paying it back willl not be stressful. The imnterest rate was average but client services very good.

Teenage sons can be a pain...and mine just did not stop nagging us to buy him his first small car. Now that he has a drivers licence he just cant wait He is 19 years old and a responsible kid but he still does not work, which means daddy had to help out. I certainly did not want to touch the families savings and as he is starting to work soon, I made a deal with him but insisted he save money every month and the moment its possible he gives me the money so I can pay off the loan before the end. I chose Lloyds bank as I saw they allow you to do so without any penalties. I also saw the interest rate is not bad. I applied for £4000 over 48 months but intend to settle it long before that. I went personally to the branch and was well treated. I thank them for being so helpful and so does my son who now drives around feeling really important. Tks Lloyds Bank.

I needed some new gardening tools and a lawn mower so I felt that I should borrow the cash rather than use my own money. Times are a bit tight and we are expecting our first baby, so with so many expenses I didnt want to stress myself. My brother has borrowed from Lloyds bank twice and seems to think they offer a fair rate of interest and are quite uncomplicated, so I followed his advice and applied with them for £2000 payable over 12 months. I applied on line but did phone them while I was online as I had some questions. They were answered in a satisfactory manner, so I went ahead. The loan was approved with no fuzz and the money was in my bank in 2 days. Im happy enough with them.

I could not believe that a big bank very well known refused me a loan of just £3000! Laughable really. I earn a good salary, have no debt and am 25 years old. I was really angry at first but they say that everything happens for a reason, so I tried with Lloyds bank. I half expected them to also refuse me, after my dismal experience but they approved the loan over 24 months and gave me a better rate of interest than the bank I originally approached. Unreal! Tks Lloyds for being professional and fair. Maybe you should teach the other bank how to do business, they sure could do with the help.

It is almost Xmas. It seems that life is passing us by...a few weeks ago it was summer. I decided to go do Xmas shopping this weekend to beat the madness of the crowds. I had made my list of what to buy the family long ago, all I needed now was the cash. I applied for a loan of £2000 from Lloyds bank and took the loan over 12 months, knowing all too well that Ill get a Xmas bonus and be able to repay the loan back if I want to, before the end of the 12 months. I like this feature that Lloyds offer, I feel its very fair, thus I opted for them instead of another bank. They offered a decent interest rate too, so all in all I think its a fair deal to borrow from them. Cant complain. The loan was approved and I get to go shopping. Hurray.

What happens at Xmas time is that it is impossible not to overspend if you have 3 children, specially if they all teenagers. Its the best time for them to nag for plasmas, Iphones and expensive gifts. As Xmas comes but once a year, and they are all behaving and doing well at school, my wife and I decided to make their Xmas special this year. We were not keen to touch our finances, so we asked Lloyds for a £2000 loan over 2 years. It is not a problem to pay back fortunately, but it just means that we do not touch the savings as once we do, it never goes back, so paying instalments over 24 months is easier for us. We went over the counter to Lloyds as we dont like to deal with money on line. The staff were helpful and answered all our questions givingh us a good interest rate. Tks Lloyds for the yes answer to nour application.

But I just felt as though I should let other borrowers know how impressed I was with the speed and efficiency of Lloyds Bank when it came to approving my loan.I was also very impressed with their loan calculator tool which helped me to decide on how much I should be borrowing. With 3 easy steps I had decided how much I could afford to borrow, had the application approved and, finally, the money in my account within less than a week. Now that's what I call service and I am glad I chose to go with NatWest for it.

Lloyds Bank have helped me out of a very difficult situation with this personal loan. I had promised my stepdaughter a car when she passed her test but just before she did pass my own daughter asked me to lend her some money to help with her rent arrears before her landlord evicted her.I had spent many years building up a good relationship with my stepdaughter and I didn't want to let her down. So I applied for a personal loan with Lloyds and just hoped they would approve the loan and let me have the money in time.Being able to do the whole process online helped a great deal because I work from home as a writer and didn't have to leave my desk to do it, which saved me a lot of time and trouble.Lloyds didn't disappoint, and I am happy to say the loan was approved and the money paid into my account with 48 hours which meant I had been able to help out my own daughter and reward my stepdaughter which makes my life a lot easier and happier .

I don't have a so called 'Bucket List' as such but I do have a few things that I am determined to do before I reach 30. I am 28 and time is running out!Seriously though, the main thing I wanted to do before reaching that milestone birthday was to be out of the family home and renting my own place. Most of my friends had flown the nest years ago and I was starting to come under a bit of flak from them and my new girlfriend wasn't too happy with my current living conditions either.Sad as they would be to see me move out my parents encouraged me to get a personal loan and after doing a bit of research online I ended up getting a loan from my own bank Lloyds. I got a good APR on the amount I had reckoned I would need and the best part was the repayments were well within my budget.I will still be paying off my loan when I reach the Big 30 but at least I will be able to throw the best party ever without having to worry about my parent's gate crashing it like they did my last one!

This is the second loan I have taken out with Lloyd's Bank and even though I am not getting the lowest APR that I have seen other lenders advertising I am not really bothered because this loan has been tailored to suit my monthly repayments affordability.I was prepared to pay a little bit extra on the APR to ensure that I could have a loan that was giving me the maximum amount I needed to borrow but with repayments that were within my affordability.I have got a couple of friends who are struggling to make the repayments on loans they have taken out and there was no way I was going to get myself into that situation. I had leaned with my first loan from Lloyds Bank that it is possible to get the right balance and that is why I didn't think twice about going back to them for this loan.

I do agree that Lloyds bank is very well known and has been around for a long time, having a good reputation. Personally I am happy with them, as they were there for me when I needed a £4000 loan a few months ago. I have been paying them monthly and have had no problems, in fact the loan I requested was approved very quickly and over the time frame I requested. However having read through their rules again last week when my sister needed a loan, I suddendly realised that they seem to only give loans to their clients...as my sisters loan was refused. I find this to be a negative point in their favour. A client is a client, and if they can afford to pay back, why not consider them? Strange indeed...so I can tell you that my sister is NOT impressed with Lloyds...though I personally cant complain.

I am a businessman and have been a Lloyds Bank client for a fair amount of years. They sure have a reputation to mantain as are known as one of the most prestigious banks in the UK. As I have a current account with them, I had no problem in asking for a £8000 loan to make home improvements and having the loan granted, although over a short period of time, as I wanted to keep the interest down therefore repaying over 2 years. They were efficient and quick at making a decision, obviously because I have a credit history with them. I do feel that they should however, reconsider offering loans to others who are not their clients as I´m sure they´d get more business. That seems a little harsh to me, but I guess they may have their reasons. Notwithstanding I have to congratulate , their client services department for good work.

My best friend works for Lloyds bank and I guess this is the reason why I considered applying to them for a personal loan when I needed £3000 recently. I ran into difficulty however, as I was not their client, therefore I certainly did not have a current account with them. This slowed the process down, as my application was refused. When realising why, I made the decision to open an account with them hoping that the 2nd time round I would not be knocked back. It did the trick as the loan was granted and they did warn me that if I paid over a shorter period of time the interest rate would be lower. I felt that was fair of them. I did get the 3000K credited to my new current account to do with what I pleased. Thank you lloyds. My advice is if you do not have an account with them, open one before applying.

Being able to borrow the amount I needed over a one year period with a low APR is the ideal solution for me and I have tried but failed to get as good a deal with any other lender. It seems that for a lot of these lenders short term and low APR just don't come hand in hand.So for the time being I will stick with Lloyds bank for short term loans unless the other lenders start being a bit more flexible and try a bit harder to win people like me over.

I bank with Lloyds and have done so for a number of years, they are a good bank to work with and I decided to ask them for a loan to pay off some credit cards, consolidating my debts so I am not paying the horrible interest rates cards offer these days.I asked for a quote on line having completed the application. I did use the calculator to see what sort of terms I might get, this I found to be very useful. When I plugged in the amount I wanted to borrow I played with the period of time to repay to find the most affordable amount. I submitted the completed form and within a short time they came back with a quote and instant decision. The process was easy and I can recommend Lloyds Bank as a good bank to deal with.

I had contemplated applying for a loan to help my son through college. As I had an account with Lloyd's Bank it seemed the obvious choice to go to them first. They have always treated me well and I read up on some literature about their loans and interest rates, which seemed comparable to other lenders. So I applied on line for a personal loan. I used their loan calculator to help me decide what kind of amount I should borrow and the terms that I might expect. The results from the calculations seemed doable so I continued with the application and submitted my information and requested a quote. As I had perceived the quote came back with like figures from the calculations I had made so was doable. I accepted the quote and waited for the bank's decision. It did not take long before a positive response came bank which pleased me of course. This had been a painless experience and one that I just had to share.

Lloyd's Bank refused me a personal loan about 15 years ago and I was very annoyed at the time but the truth is they did me a big favour because I really wasn't in a financial position to borrow that sort of money at the time and it would have had awful repercussions for me if they had been irresponsible enough to lend me the money. So when I decided to take out a personal loan to help pay for my wedding next year I went back to Lloyds Bank first, because in spite of that early rejection they had proved to be a very good and reliable bank for me.It would seem Lloyds Bank think equally as highly of me now because they have not only approved my loan but they have given me a very respectable APR to rival most of the other lenders and the monthly repayments are going to be very easy to meet. So all in all, I think staying with Lloyds Bank all this time eventually paid off and there are definitely no hard feelings on my part any more.

My parents asked me why I dont try another bank and I explained why, With Lloyds bank I have the possibility of paying off my loan earlier than initially agreed. To me this is a big advantage and one that other banks don´t allow and those that do, charge you an extra charge but not Lloyds. As life is about ups and downs, I like this possibility. She then asked why I did not consider requesting it over 48 months as If I wanted I could always pay it before the time without ant extra charges and at least thShe was a honey and indeed I got the loan and it was a pleasant experience.Good bank to deal with.

My daughetr is getting married in January and I do not fancy taking a huge chunk off my savings to finance it. Applying for a personal loan was obviously the only way to go as this way the installments can come off my wages as I get paid and I will not feel it, specially if I spread the payments over many months. I therefore requested the laon from Lloyds bank, which is the bank I´ve used for many years. I´m a civil engineer earn good money but ofcourse wanted to have the best benefits possible. I had a look at what Lloyds offer and looked at 2 or 3 other institutions just in case they gave me a better deal. Most couldnt beat Lloys interest rate, but the ones that could, either charged hidden fees, or the interest rate varied from month to month in accordance to the Bank of England...so in the end I decided to opt for Lloyds bank. Their are well known and possibly one of the safest. The loan of £9000 was approved and I took it over 5 years with option to pay it off at any time I wish with no extra charges.

I did it all on my own and felt rather proud as Im almost 60 years old and not too good with technology. I needed £1000 to help out my grandson and as my savings are on fixed deposit accounts, taking out a bank loan with Lloyds seemed to be the solution for me. I have been saving all this time to buy a nice car and when last month I found the one I really liked, I realised that it would cost £1800 more than I had saved. As it was the perfect car for me, I knew I would have to borrow £2000, much to my dismay.... The debate came when I was deciding which financial institution to approach, as there were about 2 banks that offered similar interest rates and fees. Eventually I filled in the application with Lloyds, only because I read that they allow the client to pay back the loan before the time with NO additional charges. This was a good point as who knows maybe I come into unexpected money and indeed pay it off long before the time. I was very pleased that they approved my loan without any red tape. I have my new car now and am over the moon.

My name is Nigel and I live on the outskirts of London in a nice littel cottage with my family. I´m ony 23 years old and in no rush to live on my own as the expenses are so much lower this way. We have a table tennis table as well as a dart board in our garage but I felt it was time to get a nice pool table as well. I applied to Lloyds bank for a £1000 personal loan payable over 12 months. The interest rate was quite low and its easier to pay it this way than in 1 go. They were pretty efficient and there were no qualms about authorizing the loan. Im rather pleased as I expected it to be drawn out with burocracy but it was fine. Good experience.

I am a young man who enjoys a bit of a gamble, or shall we say, I enjoy taking risks.I have been playing in the Stock exchange for a few years and have not done badly at all.I like to invest and believe that if we are not greedy we can make the money work for us.Last month I opted to buy shares in a certain company, that I felt, would raise in valuation.I applied to Lloyds for a £4000 loan as this is a bank that does not ask you what the loan is for, which suits me perfectly, least they thinks its a high risk business I´m in...Another reason why I opted for Lloyds is because they allow you to pay back the loan before the due time with no additional charges, so i can pay it back sooner if I make a quick profit on my shares.Lloyds approved my loan over 36 months, so I´ll use their money to hopefully make more. Im happy with them.

Myself and my wife have lived in the same house for almost 20 years. It is fully paid off, so no mortgage to pay. Its a comfortable home but we have been considering some alterations for a while now. We needed to borrow £8000 and had a look on line at Lloyds website. We used the loan calculator and worked out what our repayments would be, but still had some unanswered questions, so we went along to our Lloyds local branch to speak face to face with a representative. It was a lot better, as it was all explained to us. The loan was approved in no time. We are happy with a few points, like the possibility of paying the loan back before the 5 years that we opted for, should the opportunity arise. Good client services. Recommended.

I have been searching all the possible avenues to take out a loan to buy myself another car, as mine has seen its better days, breaking down often and costing me a bundle in repairs. With so many banks in the market offering loans, it wasn´t the easiest task...but eventually I chose Lloyds as when I calculated to borrow £4000 over 36 months, with their calculator, it worked out to a little less than with the other banks that I tried. Also its good to see the loan can be paid off before the end, if we are able to make such happen. The fact that Lloyds has also a good reputation, made my mind up. They gave me the loan and didn´t seem to worry that I´m a single mother with an average paying job. I guess my credit rating was good enough. I can speak up in their favour, I guess.

My husband and I are now close to 60 years old and are debt free as we have paid off our mortgage, which is a wonderful feeling. As it is Christmas and our grandson is 21 years old soon, we decided to give him a double present. A holiday to Mauritius with his girlfriend! It will cost almost £2500, so we applied for a personal loan with Lloyds and to keep the interest down we applied to pay it back over 12 months. They do not expect to hold your property as collateral which is what some banks do. As we do not like to use thechnologies we went to the branch itself and dealt personally with an assistant. She was professional and helpful. Thanks to her help we filled in the documents and received the funds, booking already their trip.

As we are less than 1 year away from paying off the mortgage on our cottage it was time to do some renovations, long overdue. We applied for a personal loan with our bank Lloyds, in the amount of £8000 as I wanted to also revamp the kitchen. We have been clients of Lloyds for a long time and until now we have not been dissapointed. My husband did get a quote from another bank but we realised that we would pay more than with Lloyds and also although we opted to pay it back over 5 years its good to have the possibility to pay it back earlier if possible for any unexpected reason. We were pleased that everything was done relatively quickly and that the service was good. So many banks charging unreasonable rates that its good to see Lloyds being fairer.

I was introduced to readies.co.uk a few months ago by a friend that uses them to find the best deals when he needs a loan of any sort. I myself decided to use this site when I needed to take out a personal loan of £3000. I realised that there are many banks and loan institutions lending money, so, for a couple of hours I used the calculators available on the site to see what bank was for me the best. I eliminated them as I went along until I was down to 2 banks, one of which was the bank that I hold a current account with, Lloyds. At this point I felt compelled to apply with them as it is a bank I´m familiar with and the odds of getting a loan with them were higher as they had immediate access to my financial bakground history. In fact the loan was granted and I´m paying them a very acceptable monthly amount. The process was uncomplicated and quick. Im pleased.

Lloyds is a very well known bank and as we all know there are branches all over. I have been a client of theirs for less than 1 year, so can not have an exact opinion of how they work yet, but from what I´ve seen so far, they seem to be quite professional and appear to be efficient. I guess the biggest test comes now that I phoned them to enquire about a loan. The lady who I spoke with was very helpful and answered my questions happily over the phone. After speaking to her I went on line and filled in the application for £6000. I was impressed that they didn´t enquire as to what I needed the money for, they just focused on my credit history and on their calculations of whether or not I could afford to repay over the 4 years that I opted for. The loan was granted and I hope that they continue to give me a good service throughout this period.

I got a little carried away last week when I went to the casino and was playing Black Jack. I lost almost £2000 and was not happy when I woke up the following day and realise it. I had drank a little too much and the result was losing money. As I used the money from my current account , which I needed for other commitments, I had to find a way to replace it quickly. As I am a client of Lloyds I went on line and took out a personal loan which was approved in a short period of time. I was grateful that they didnt ask me what the money was for and also happy about the rules that allow a client to pay back the loan before the due date, without any additional charges. I may be in a position to do that before the 2 years are up. Lloyds processed this application swiftly and with no complications. Not a bad bank.

Im fashion crazy and last month I went to Milan shopping. Before my departure I loaded myself with a healthy bank account as I wanted to buy some designer clothes that are on the expensive side. I asked Lloyds to lend me £3000, over and above what I had in my current account. The reason why I borrowed from Lloyds and not one of the other institutions, was because they allow us to pay the loan before the time. This is good for me as my cousin owes me money and if she pays me when expected I can simply pay the loan off with no extra charges. I took the loan over a period of time that felt comfortable to me. Lloyds handled my application in a professional manner and shortly after the application I received the funds in my current account. I´m the proud owner of some nice clothes. Call me vain, I do not care. I deserve being pampered. Tks " my dearest" bank.

I was advised to apply on line for a personal loan with Lloyds, as I was told by both my friends that the application was easy to follow, even for me, who is not known for my computer skills.I can do the essential on a PC and can send emails, receive, go on FB, but felt that asking for a loan on line would be pushing it.I thus went to my local Lloyds bank rather.I spoke to a very friendly young man who set my mind at ease and helped me with my application every step of the way.I explained that I needed £2000 to buy Xmas presents for my 2 young teenage sons and could pay the loan back over 12 months. He suggested that maybe I opt to pay over 24 months, as I could always at any time pay extra without suffering extra charges and at least I would not be under any pressure.I felt that this was sweet of him as he showed that he cared and that I was not just another " number". This little gesture meant a lot to me and I shall recommend Lloyds in the future as they seem to train their staff well.

Two members of my family have in the past borrowed money from Lloyds and I have always heard good comments about this bank. However, see to believe, is my motto. Maybe they just got lucky...and as I´m not the luckiest of people I wanted to put them to the test myself by borrowing also. After all I´m married to an Irishman and my surname being Murphy, I always said that if anything could go wrong, it would... I filled in the on line application for the £3000 (over 2 years),that I needed for my holiday with my family, gave them the required information, salary, background history etc and then waited. As the interest rate seemed to be about average and I did have the possibility of paying back the loan before the time with no penalties, it all seemed acceptable, but I was waiting for the refusal...as my salary was not too high at all. To my surprise they agreed to give me the loan but advised me to take it over a longer period of time. I did so and was delighted that they approved it. This was 5 months ago and up to now nothing has gone wrong. " Murphy´s law didnt apply with Lloyds". :)

Lloyds is a good bank and I am here to congratulate them for their excellent customers services as well as for the quality services that they provide. I have taken out loans with a few institutions over the last 10 years but a few years ago I started banking with Lloyds and just last month I applied with them for a personal loan of £2000 and they did not just give me an instant decision but also the funds were transferred to my personal account in like 48 hours! They are also are charging me a low interest rate, not crippling me and are allowing me to make extra payments, over and above my monthly installment if I want. I´m writing this here to let others know that if you are undecided, maybe you should seriously consider this bank!

I have been nagging my husband to please buy new furniture for our chalet for like 3 years now. He always says we must wait as he is saving the money and only pays cash as banks cripple you with interest. I keep saying that I will be an old lady by the time he has saved enough. Finally last week he surprised me by telling me he had saved £4000 and only needed another £2000 so that we could get all the furniture I wanted. He told me he had a friend at work who had helped him to go on line to readies.co.uk and look for a good bank who would lend us this amount with a low interest rate. I was so happy as this way we could get it by Xmas. According to him getting the loan was easy with his friends help, who filled in the on line application form with him. I would like to thank Lloyds bank and my husband for the Xmas surprise.

I am a client of Lloyds bank and have banked with them for the last 7 years. I needed to buy a car for our 21 year old son as his birthday coincides with Xmas and as he is a good son he deserved a special gift this year. I bought him a £7000 car and used £5000 cash that I had saved for this purpose. I was £2000 short so applied for a personal loan by phoning the bank itself as I felt I needed to discuss the interest rate and question them regarding some fees that I felt they may charge. The loan was given with no qualms and the interest rate they charge me is a fair one. Also it is fixed. I´m proud of being a Lloyds client as this was done start to finish in 48h! Happy birthday Gordon.

My local branch of Lloyds is a 5 minute walk from my workplace and so it was just as easy to pop in and speak to their loan adviser than to do the whole online thing. I sit in front of a computer all day long so it is nice to do some things the old fashioned way. That said, there is nothing old fashioned about the personal loan they have just approved for me and I am delighted with the very competitive APR they have quoted and monthly repayments for the amount I am borrowing. I really do feel as though this loan has been tailor made for my personal requirements and that means it really is a personal loan in the true sense of the word. I'm not sure I'd have got that if I'd gone elsewhere.

My wife is insisting we post a review to say how delighted we are with the personal loan we have just been approved by Lloyds TSB. I did remind her that this isn't the first loan we have had with Lloyds and probably won't be the last and we have never posted a review before. She said that we had been very remiss and that it was common courtesy to say thank you when you have received good service and I suppose she is correct but I wonder if the fact that she has been a silver service waitress all her working life might have something to do with it? Anyway, by way of a 'tip' we'd like to say thank you Lloyds and keep up the good work!

My personal loan from Lloyds TSB means I can start 2016 with a nice new smile. I have just booked myself in for some cosmetic dentistry that is going to make such a difference to my self confidence. My family and friends kept saying my teeth were fine and I shouldn't worry but that's what family and friends would say isn't it. I knew I wouldn't be happy until I got the work done and that is why I am absolutely thrilled that Lloyds approved my loan.I might be the only person in the world that is looking forward to going to the dentist but that really is true and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Lloyds for making this particular girl a very happy bunny!

My husband and I are delighted that we have been approved this personal loan from Lloyds Bank because it means we can visit our son in California next January to help him celebrate his 40th birthday. We thought we might as well make the most of it and spend a bit of time visiting other places in the USA as we don't know when we might next be that side of the Pond as they say.We have been given a list of 'must visit' places by our son and we just hope we don't run out of money or energy before we manage to see them all but this loan from Lloyds will certainly help us achieve most of them.If we manage to survive the adventure we just might take out another loan and go back and do it all over again or maybe just blow it all on a trip to Las Vegas but we won't even mention that to our son for the moment.

Getting my personal loan from Lloyds Bank was so much easier than I thought it would be. My friends are always telling me horror stories about their experiences when taking out loans and now that I know how straightforward it can be I do have to wonder what they were doing wrong.Once I had checked out the Lloyds Bank loan calculator and realised I was in with good a good chance of getting an affordable loan I couldn't wait to proceed with the application. In less than a week I have had my loan approved and I am more than happy with the terms and conditions that Lloyds Bank have set.The most important thing is that I can easily afford the monthly repayments and I think that is probably where some of my friends have been going wrong. I am far too sensible to let that happen and it would seem that Lloyds Bank agree with me.

When I approached Lloyds Bank for this loan I was fully expecting to be given a polite but firm 'No' because I haven't always been a model customer of theirs over the years. Fortunately for me Lloyds Bank don't appear to hold a grudge for too long and to my surprise and relief they agreed to put together an affordable loan package for me.Taking into consideration my not so exemplary financial past and the fact that I am now in a very well paid stable job with no recent bad credit they were happy to wipe the slate clean and give me a loan that doesn't come with a sting in the tail high APR. I was worried my past credit history would be a problem but I am glad to say it wasn't. I might not have been so lucky if I had gone to another lender but I am not going to dwell on that thought.

How's that for service?I was hoping that the interest rate wasn't going to be too high either and thankfully it was more than competitive enough for me to be happy to agree with the overall loan package Lloyds Bank were offering me. I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth and so I said yes straight away and within less than a week of my initial application I have the funds in my account. So I am one very happy, satisfied customer and just wanted to say thank you to Lloyds Bank for giving this customer what they want and I wish other companies could do the same instead of giving you what they think you need!

We have taken a second personal loan with them and although the first loan was several years ago we were hoping that Lloyds would be able to match the value for money service that we got the first time round. We didn't want to have to go elsewhere for this loan but we would have if Lloyds had not been able to give us a similar loan agreement.Well they have done so and proved to us that they are consistent and still very competitive and that is a good thing for any bank to be and that is why we are very glad that we have remained customers of theirs for all these years.

When they informed me the loan was approved I told them I had found the perfect 4x4 and they said they would process the loan application asap and get the funds into my account by the end of the week.So now I have my lovely new 4x4 and I can't wait for the snowfall which I probably shouldn't say in front of our poor postman who had a terrible time last year trying to deliver our post in 3 foot of snow!

Its our 25th wedding anniversary next month and so we thought we would celebrate it by sampling our first ever holiday on water so to speak. We told Lloyds Bank exactly what we wanted the money for and they were very happy to say yes to the loan and wished us all the best for the next 25 years. I don't think I will need to make that call but it is nice to know that I can.

The interest rate on my student loans was crippling my finances and I had to do something about it. The job I am working pays a good wage so I would be able to afford the payments on a loan to pay off the student loans and just have one payment. Seemed like a smart idea but I was not sure how to go about it.I have an account with the Lloyds Bank and thought that was a good place to start. I went into my local branch and sat down with a staff member to discuss my options. I thought it might be a complicated affair but was pleasantly surprised when the loan officer offered to help me apply for a personal loan. We filled out the application and she went on line to look at the terms, percentage rate and repayment values. We chose wisely and what would be within my means. She was so helpful, I really appreciated her assistance.I received a phone call later in the day to say that I had been approved for a personal loan, this was music to my ears. Remodeling a home was not my specialty so I had to get a quote from the local contractor. The price of materials blew my mind and then when you add the labour it was cost prohibitive. I really wanted to make these improvements because I would be attempting to sell the property next year. So I had to bite the bullet and obtain the financing somewhere.I knew that Lloyds offered a flexible personal loan and wondered if I would be approved. Only one way to find out so I applied on line. The application form was simple but did ask for a lot of information, that was not difficult just made me find answers to items I had not thought about for a while. So having completed the form I submitted it. I was confident about the repayment amount having used the calculator they provided. I received a personalized quote fairly quickly and when I agreed to the terms, an instant decision came through and I was going to see the money in my account within a few days. Brilliant, Lloyds came through like a charm.

For the wedding anniversary I wanted to take the wife on a special shopping trip to New York. She has always talked about going and I wanted to surprise her. I figured it would be nice to have extra money to spend on her, as well as the plane tickets etc. and rather than touch the savings, a personal loan might just be the answer.I knew that my bank, Lloyds, offered short term loans and so I went on line when the wife was out to look at the terms, rates and repayment amounts. That calculator they have on line is really useful. I also liked the fact that you could pay off the loan early without any additional charges.I completed the application which appeared to be quite easy and submitted it with the amount I thought I would want to borrow. In no time at all they came back with a quote, this was pretty impressive I thought. Then an instant decision followed. I would have the funds deposited into my account, they said, in a couple of days. And it was. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about a loan to try Lloyds Bank.

The family decided we needed another car, our lives were getting so busy, it was becoming impossible to go in different directions for the kids sports etc. We talked about going to the local dealer but I really do not like having to be at the mercy of those salesmen. I would rather go with cash in hand, I think you get a better deal anyway. So we decided to apply to our bank.I went on the Lloyds website and looked at the criteria they asked for and felt that we qualified. I liked the loan calculator as it showed you the terms you could expect, so there were no surprises. I submitted the application and sat back and waited for a reply. Well, they were certainly fast at responding. They gave me a personalized quote which I thought was reasonable and I accepted it. Then an instant decision came through and they granted me the personal loan. Gosh that was so easy, I was car shopping before I knew it. My husband was in a lot of pain with his knee and needed a total knee replacement. The waiting list apparently was really long and he did not want to wait very much longer. We talked about him going privately although this would cost us a pretty penny, but if you have not got your health, life can be pretty miserable. I suggested to try Lloyds bank for a personal loan to take care of this necessity, he agreed. So we went on line to Lloyds and looked at their website to read up on the whys and wherefores, it looked like we could qualify so we went ahead and completed an application. We had an idea how much the operation was going to cost, we had plugged that amount in to the calculator. The repayments were doable and we did not hesitate to submit the application for their attention. In a short time they came back to us with a quote which looked reasonable and they also made a decision to grant us a personal loan. Thank goodness we said, now we can plan for the operation and there would be no more suffering that horrible pain. Lloyds were so flexible they are a good bank to deal with.

Just like I used to do as a kid at Christmas, I sat down and made a list of what I wanted to find under the Christmas tree this year. But instead of posting it to Santa I applied for a personal loan from my bank instead.I know this time of year should be all about giving rather than receiving and in my defence I do give a lot to my family and friends which is why I generally end up with not a lot left to treat myself to the sort of things I always drop hints about but never seem to get on Christmas morning. I swear if I get another daft 'onsie' this year I'll strangle whoever gave it to me!So this Christmas regardless of what lies in wait for me under the tree, I will have bought myself all the little luxuries I have been dreaming about all year and the only thank you note I'll have to write is this one to Lloyds Bank. It was my mum's idea for me to get a personal loan from Lloyds Bank. I liked the idea of being able to apply for the loan online and my dad helped me do it to make sure I wasn't overstretching my finances.Anyway, the purpose of this review is to say that thanks to my mum, dad and of course Lloyds Bank I have got my very first personal loan which is well within my affordability (dad's words not mine) and I am really looking forward to Christmas and my ski trip so let's hope we gets loads and loads of snow on the piste but not at the airport!

Borrowing money no matter how little or large the amount is should always be a last resort. That's the advice my grandad used to give all the family. But then grandad never had the need for a mortgage or finance to buy a new car and the list goes on and on.The reality of modern life is that 99.9% of people will need to borrow money at some point in their life and for me that is certainly the case. I have just taken out a personal loan with Lloyds Bank and even though I didn't heed my granddad's advice about borrowing money, I did make sure I went to a responsible and competitive lender who just happens to be my own bank. Now I think that is one thing my grandad would approve of because he had a grudging respect for banks and made sure his money was very safely tucked away in his bank account and not under the mattress.

I am so delighted that Lloyds Bank have approved my loan that I wanted to post a really nice review to say what a great bank they are. My friend thinks it's a bad idea because I will sound all gushy and stuff but the truth is this loan means so much to me and the things I want to get sorted early in the new year will all be possible thanks to this personal loan.So in spite of what my friend thinks and at the risk of sounding 'all gushy' I just want to say thank you to Lloyds Bank for giving me this loan and a special thanks to they guy in your Customer Services department that took the time to explain to me exactly what APR means, I have learned a valuable lesson from him!

Applying online for our personal loan with Lloyds Bank was so easy because I spend most of my day in front of the computer and it was just a case of taking time out from my usual job and clicking on to the Lloyds website. I did do a bit of a search on the loan comparison website but decided that using our own bank for this particular loan was in our best interests as it was for quite a large amount and Lloyds Bank have always had our best interests at heart in all the years we have been banking with them.We have had the initial online approval for the loan but we plan to call into our local branch in the new year and just go through the terms and conditions of the loan once more before signing the paperwork. But we thought we should make the effort to post this review to say how happy we are with the online loan application facility and would recommend it to other Lloyds Bank customers who are looking for a loan.

I've been a customer of Lloyds Bank for nearly 40 years and so it didn't occur to me to go elsewhere when I needed a personal loan. That's because I know a good deal when I see one and the deal Lloyds Bank are giving me for this loan is not just very competitive but it is tailored to suit me and my current financial circumstances.I have a very good relationship with the staff at my local branch and that goes a long way when you are relying on your bank to do their best for you. I am in no doubt that this loan is the best one for me and if I am proved wrong I'll eat my hat!

I have banked with Lloyds for several years now and both my wife and I are very greatful to them for giving us such a good service when we first became customers. That is why we decided to ask them for this loan and we hoped Lloyds would say yes because we did not want to look for this loan from someone else. We are very very happy that we did not have to because Lloyds said yes immediately which made us think that they thought we were good customers and were not going to give them any problems when paying back the money we are borrowing. We now that we would not have problems paying back the money and it is good that Lloyds Bank think the same way as us.

Thank goodness for online banking and in particular thank goodness for Lloyds Bank approving our personal loan. It would have been a bit of a pain if we had been refused and had to start looking elsewhere which we knew probably wouldn't be the case because we have a very good credit history and have never had any problems with our account. But you always have that worry when it comes to important things like borrowing large sums of money and getting the approval so quickly was such a relief for me and my partner that we wanted to post this comment before putting the laptop away. Thanks very much Lloyds, we can relax and enjoy our evening now.

My partner and I are tying the knot after 10 years of being together and we couldn't do it in the style we want without the help of the personal loan we have just been given by Lloyds Bank.We want to get married in the Maldives with just our 3 children, parents and a few close friends and even though it will work out a lot cheaper than having a big wedding and having to invite all our family and friends it is still going to set us back a few thousand pounds. We worked out exactly how much it was going to cost and didn't dare go over that amount because we wanted to be able to afford the repayments without struggling. Lloyds were happy to meet us on the amount and worked out the repayment plan to suit our tight budget and we are very happy with the final figure they have arrived at and so all there is left to do now is get on with the wedding plans and try to keep the wife to be from getting too carried away with the cost of the dresses for her and the bridesmaids.

Getting the loan to pay for a surprise trip to Dubai for our wedding anniversary was much easier than actually keeping the surprise from my wife who has a habit of picking up on the slightest little clue and whilst it wouldn't have been the end of the world if she found out about it before the day I was taking no chances with the kids and told them we were going to Scotland instead that way she would get her surprise even if the kids spilled the beans. Our wedding day was a very cold one weather wise and so ever since then I have always had the idea to whisk her off somewhere hot and Dubai at this time of year will be just the right temperature for us.When I told the loan adviser at Lloyds Bank what the loan was for she came up with the best bit of advice I could have asked for because I really hadn't given a lot of thought to what the wife would be packing at the last minute and so I had to let the sister-in-law in on the secret so that she could pack the right stuff in advance and hide the suitcase.I'm still a bit nervous about it all because if the truth be known the sister-in-law is even worse at keeping a secret so I might have to bribe her as well.

I have been asking my girlfriend to marry me on several occasions for the past year and she said she wouldn't consider it unless I got down on one knee with a suitably impressive engagement ring. A year later and with our first baby on the way I decided I had put it off long enough and applied to Lloyds Bank for a loan to get my girlfriend the engagement ring she deserved. The money from the loan has just come through and I am taking my girlfriend's best friend with me to help choose the ring because I don't have a clue what sort of style she would like and when I propose and slip the ring on her finger I want to be as sure as I can that she is happy with it and won't want to exchange it for something else. As she did that with most of the Christmas presents I bought this year there is a good chance of that happening without her friends guidance so let's hope that between the two of us we get it right.

If Lloyds had refused my application for a personal loan I knew I'd get one from some other lender because I have never had a problem getting loans before. However I wanted to get this particular loan from my own bank because it was for a lot more money and the loan period would be for much longer.Being able to manage it through my online banking facility was very important to me because the loan was for building work on my house and it is going to involve making payments to the builders in stages and paying the suppliers for the building materials as and when they are delivered.I am taking on the role of overseeing this project because it will save me money in the long term as experience has taught me that building projects have a tendency to go over budget very easily if you don't keep an eye on things and that is precisely what I intend to do.

I have taken out personal loans with Lloyds Bank on several occasions over the years, mainly for small amounts over short periods and have always found LloydsBank to be competitive. So when I needed to borrow a much larger sum of money I hoped that would be the case again.I did a bit of online research beforehand to see what the other lenders were quoting for the same loan amount and had a fairly good idea of what the going rate was and just hoped that Lloyds Bank could match it because I would much prefer to use my own bank whenever possible.Thankfully, Lloyds Bank were able to come up with an equally competitive and affordable loan package for me and they were even able to beat the overall monthly repayment amount which will make a lot of difference to my monthly budget and making the repayments won't compromise my finances at all. If the monthly repayments had been much higher that might have been a problem for me but fortunately that isn't going to be the case and so I am confident that this personal loan is the right one for me.

Being a longstanding customer of Lloyds Bank I would always go to them first when looking for loans and so far over the years they have been able to oblige with competitive, affordable loans. It has been several years since the last loan I took out and so I had to get my head around the new online approach to applying for their loans but I have to say I found the whole process rather impressive and much easier than I imagined it would be.Both my wife and I like to use the computer for various things but getting our personal loan was by far the most convenient and easy use of the computer to date. We are even going to start managing our banking requirements online from now on but we may have to ask our son for a bit of guidance to start with. This personal loan from Lloyds Bank has had a positive effect for us in more ways than one and we will most definitely be using the internet a lot more from now on. It has been a great learning curve for us.

I needed £1500 to use over the Christmas period as I felt my kids deserved to be spoiled this year.I decided to use the on line calculator to try and work out how much my bank Lloyds, would charge me monthly if I repayed over 2 years.I was satisfied with the amount as it was one that I could afford.I felt that the interest charged was not excessive and it was within the fair boundaries that most institutions charge. My request was accepted and they gave me the laon, making it possible for us to have a very nice Christmas.I will use them again, if in need.Thank you Lloyds.

Although I absolutely hate borrowing money, I must admit that when I am stuck, I always approach lloyds Bank.I have borrowed from them a few times over the last 10 years and up until the present I have not had reasons to complain.I have never borrowed more than 1k or 2k, but the loans have always been approved in a quick matter of time, its always been a smooth experience and I´ve never noticed them overcharging me.A bank is a bank and they have to make a profit of course, but in my opinion they do the job.We borrow and pay the interest and they lend and receive the interest.Straight forward and simple. Thus I write this small review to speak of my experience and to say to others that may not have borrowed from them before that lloyds is cool.

We had an unforgetable holiday in December on the snow in Switzerland, an experience I will never forget. My kids learned to ski and my husband and I learned not to hurt ourselves too much, everytime we fell, trying. Ha Ha.It was worth it for the kids sake and it was only possible because 1 week before our holiday, in the spur of the moment, we decided to go on this trip, but although we were short of cash, Lloyds granted us a personal loan of £3000 and deposited the money in our bank account in less than 4 days.It was great efficient work from their side and I am very happy that I bank with them. The interest rate was not too high as we agreed to repay over 2 years.

I am a 61 year old man that only has access to the internet when we go to our daughters cottage on the weekend. This stopped me from applying on line for a personal loan as I knew that if I did it at her house she would be snooping around and I wanted to keep this private.I therefore decided to go to lloyds bank, the local branch where we live, to speak to someone personally and get their help.I needed £6000 to make some home improvements and surprise the family when they came to visit at Xmas time. The lady who helped me was very professional, helped me to fill in the application and told me excatly how much I would pay over the 4 year period.I am very happy with their service and the repayments will be affordable to me.Thanks to Lloyds quick release of the funds, I was able to have the alterations done before the New Year celebrations in our garage.I am full of praise for them.

A year ago I applied for a personal loan , on line with Lloyds Bank. The loan was for £8000 and was due to be paid over a period of 4 years.Every month I have paid the installment required and there have been no problems.I have not detected any hidden charges and overall I have had nothing to complain about.Last month I won some money on the euro millions, not a lot but enough to pay off the whole amount outstanding, which was a lovely relief.I was surprised to see that Lloyds allowed me to pay it off before the time without charging me any additional penalty charges. This is great news and I am very impressed that they would do so.Very nice to see indeed.

There are so many institutions offering the possibilities of borrowing money, so many loan sharks, charging outrageous interest when people are stuck and need a lending hand.....I am glad that I followed my brothers advise when I needed to borrow £3000 overnight, and applied with Lloyds, as opposed to with another lender. They were professional, ethical and I feel, honest.Once they checked that my information was correct and that I earned what I said I did, and saw I had only the expense of my car, they approved my loan. What made me comfortable was the fact that they did not enquire what I needed it for, considering that I was not keen on exposing the reason.Their decision was immediate and the money transfer took about 2 days only.I´m now convinced that I did the right move by going with Lloyds.Tks bro!

When our third child was born we found the house really was becoming too small for us but we loved the house, the lovely garden and the neighbourhood is very good especially for the local schools and shops. So we didn;t want to move and so decided to build a extension . We applied for planning which came through in December and so now we are borrowing the money from our bank to pay for the work. We already spoke to our local Lloyds Bank branch manager a while ago and he said as soon as the planning was approved we should straight away make our loan application online and if we had any problems to speak to him directly, but we have had no problems whatsoever and we've been informed that our loan is approved and the money will be with us very soon.We think the service from Lloyds Bank is excellent and most competitive with other banks and so we want to express our sincere thanks to them for approving this loan.

Lloyds Banks were very helpful when I applied for my loan. After doing the online application I had a few queries and wanted to re think my initial loan request before taking it any further. I thought they might think I was a bit of a time waster and not really serious about wanting to get a loan but they were fine about it and did their best to answer every question and concern I had before I finally felt happy to go ahead with the loan.I wasn't looking to borrow a huge sum of money but it was my first loan and I wanted to be sure I wasn't taking on more than I could chew with regard to the monthly repayments. Lloyds were great and went through all my monthly outgoings with me before recommending the right loan package for me. This is a good first experience of borrowing money for me and I hope I remember all the sound advice Lloyds Bank have given me especially with regard to maintaining my good credit history for when I might need to take out another loan.

My advice to anyone suffering from post xmas blues is to get busy booking your summer holiday like I've just done. If you can't afford one then a get a loan from your bank like I did. It's really easy if you have a great bank like mine Lloyds but it does help if you have a job and earn good money and you haven't got loads of debts. If you don't have a job then can I suggest you try getting one and maybe a holiday rep in Ibiza might be a good choice in which case you won't need the loan to pay for your holiday in the sun because you'll already be living it full time. Actually that doesn't sound like a bad idea and my job is quite boring so maybe I should consider becoming a rep because I just luv Ibiza. Its my second favourite place to party after Marbella!

Thanks very much to Lloyds Bank for the loan. I thought it wasn't going to happen because it took a while for me to get the approval. I wasn't sure if there was something in my credit history that was going to affect things but I couldn't really do much about it except to sit back and wait.It was worth waiting because the delay in getting approval wasn't down to anything negative in my credit history but just a typo in my online application which actually my wife had typed for me but I daren't tell her that.So I wanted to say thanks to Lloyds Bank for approving my loan and I know there won't be a problem with them reading this because I have typed and posted it and not the missus but I hope she never read these reviews or I've had it!

Lloyds Bank have managed to satisfy my banking requirements more or less during the 10 years I have been a customer of theirs. This is only the second loan I have taken out with them the first one being to pay for my wedding which sadly ended in divorce 5 years later but at the time it seemed like the right thing to do and no one has a crystal ball when it comes to these things. This loan is to pay for another wedding and I know some people might think I should have learned my lesson but I am just a romantic at heart and my second wife to be deserves to have the best wedding day that we can afford. She is paying for half of it which is more than my first wife did and though I still don't have a crystal ball I think this marriage just might be forever. We are equally committed both financially and emotionally and I think that's as good a start as anyone could ask for in a marriage.

I've just been promoted at work and it comes with a small but very much appreciated pay increase which means that I have a bit of spare cash each month that I want to put to good use. I got turned down for a loan a few years ago and ever since then I vowed never to even try to borrow money from my bank unless I knew I had enough left over each month after paying all my bills to comfortably afford the repayments.I know that is going to be the case now and fortunately Lloyds Bank agreed with me and have approved a loan that is going to help with the purchase of a new car. I'm trading in my old one and hope to get the book price for it which will be more than enough to make up the shortfall on the price of the new car. I wanted to make the most of my small pay increase and I think this is the best way to do it. It will be a nice way of reminding me that all my hard work has been recognised and rewarded by my boss.

I don't know what I would do without my online banking facility. I certainly wouldn't have been able to apply for my personal loan in between my full time job and working in a local bar most evenings.Hopefully with this personal loan I won't have to do quite as many shifts in the bar and maybe for once spend some time on the other side of it! I got this loan so that I can consolidate all my debts and give myself a simple solution to the problem. I can easily manage and afford the monthly repayments on the loan but it was trying to balance all the individual debts that was causing me so much stress.I would recommend this solution to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation. Lloyds Bank were totally in agreement with me that this was the best way of dealing with my financial problems and gave me a great deal of advice and help to achieve this .I hope the next time I take out a loan it will be for something nice but maybe once I have got myself back on an even keel and paid off this loan thats something I might just be able to do.

My new car wouldn't be a reality if it wasn't for the loan I just got from Lloyds Bank. I have been driving my old car into the ground because I wanted to wait until I could afford to borrow enough money to buy a new BMW X1. I have just got a salary increase which means the loan repayments will be much more affordable for me because as much as I wanted this new car I didn't want to be struggling with a loan just to get it.As soon as I did the loan calculator bit of the application I just knew it wasn't going to be a problem for me and I got straight down to our local BMW dealer and did a deal on my new car as soon as the loan agreement was approved and finalised. It will be great driving around in my new BMW X1 but even better knowing that I can afford the loan and that I haven't taken on something beyond my financial capabilities. Thats why I think its best to go to your own bank for larger loans because they are most likely to know your financial circumstances better and be able to give you the best advice and the best loan where possible.

I am definitely a happy Lloyds customer now that they have approved my personal loan. I wasn't exactly unhappy before but i never really had much to say about them bad or good up to now.I am glad to be writing this review with a positive attitude because if I'd had a bad experience with NatWest when I applied for this loan I would be quite upset because I have been a customer of theirs for about 15 years since leaving school and I have never been overdrawn or done anything to give them cause to refuse me a loan.My boyfriend said its not just about not going overdrawn its also to do with how much debt you have in the way of credit cards and stuff and even though I always pay my credit card bills on time I did worry that they would be the one thing to go against me when Lloyds were considering my application.Fortunately I was worrying unnecessarily because I got the loan approval and Lloyds have set up a really affordable repayment plan which shouldn't affect my ability to continue using my credit cards and making the monthly repayments for them and my loan on time of course!

Who knew getting a personal loan could be so easy? Actually, doing the online application was easy but being eligible for a loan is another matter altogether. If I had applied to Lloyds Bank for this loan a few years ago I would have got a flat refusal because I was in a lot of debt and behind with all my credit card payments. My parents helped me sort them all out and got me back on track and I have maintained that for the past 3 years and brought my credit score right back up to a good rating.I decided now was the right time to take out this loan and it was a little bit like testing the water because I have only borrowed a small amount but it will allow me to pay for my summer holiday without putting it all a credit cards again which is how I got myself into such a mess before. Not this time though, I can easily afford the repayments on this loan and I shouldn't have to use the credit cards too much on holiday because I will have a bit let over once the holiday has been booked and paid for.

I've had a couple of regrettable experiences with loan companies over the years and have learned a valuable lesson. That lesson being to stick with your own bank whenever possible because they won't give you a loan that you can't afford to repay easily. It doesn't make good business sense for them to allow their customers to get into unnecessary problems managing their bank account and so if they think your monthly budget allows you to afford one of their loans they will happily give it to you.I really wish I had considered that before I got myself into problems with previous loans from other lenders. I certainly won't be making that mistake again and I know Lloyds Bank will help me to make sure of that.

This loan is a big, important one for me and I had to make sure I was getting the right package because it was going to be part of me for a few years and I didn't want to be stuck with an unaffordable loan that was going to create lots of problems for me.I would normally go online to apply for my loans but this was one loan that I wanted to discuss with my local bank and it was a good decision to do it this way because I got some very good advice from the loan adviser and between the two of us we have come up with a really good loan that is going to suit me perfectly. My advice to anyone looking for a personal loan is to speak to your banks own loan adviser before committing yourself to any loan. As a Lloyds Bank customer I did not hesitate to consider applying to them for a personal loan. They have always been a professional and reliable bank to do business with. I wanted to consolidate some debts I had accumulated and needed a short term loan to take care of this issue.Because I knew the amount I needed to take care of these debts, I used the website's loan calculator to see what sort of terms I might be offered, if I was successful in my application. The terms were reasonable and the payment was doable so I went ahead and applied. I received a personalized quote pretty quickly and after accepting the quote then received an instant decision. I had a pretty good-paying job so we decided on a short term personal loan, getting the best possible interest rate. My credit card balances were getting a bit too high and with the varying interest rates, my payments were not making too much of a difference to the amounts owed. I decided it was time to consolidate these card balances and although I had looked at other lenders to obtain a loan, it seemed prudent to stay with my bank as I had been a good customer for a number of years.Lloyds Bank has a good reputation and I have always found them to be pleasant to deal with. I pulled up their website and took a look at the loan calculator. It was a useful tool because I could get an estimate of what my terms might be. With a figure in mind I completed the application for a flexible personal loan. They came back with a personalized quote that I thought was reasonable and I asked for a decision. Lloyds Bank have made applying for a personal loan much easier than I remember it being nearly 20 years ago when I first opened my account with them. But I was only in my early 20s then and wasn't applying for the loan from the comfort of my own home with my wife doing the typing for me. I did get the loan all those years ago and I did get this loan very quickly but from what I can remember from the first loan it was still a very affordable loan and I didn't have any problems making the monthly repayments. That is what I wanted with this loan and that is what I have got. So I am glad that I decided to stick with Lloyds Bank and I am glad that they are still offering such competitive loans.

I was so happy and relieved when Lloyds Bank said yes to my loan application. It means I can pay off all my credit card debts and put some cash away for my summer holiday. My credit cards were the main reason for this loan because I had used them far too much over Christmas and they are all up to their maximum so until they are paid off I might as well just put them away for a while and forget about them.I had heard people talking about getting loans so that they could consolidate all their debts and I never really understood what that meant. But now that I know I think it is a really sensible thing to do and its great that banks give you loans to encourage you to do this. Lloyds were happy to give me this loan when I told them what I planned to do with the money and I would like to say a huge thank you to them for helping me out in this way.

This weekend I am going to buy my first car at auction and that's why I applied for this loan from Lloyds Bank. When you buy at auction you can get a really good deal but you have to have the money available up front or they won't let you bid.Lloyds understood that I was on a time scale so as not to miss the auction and they processed my application really quickly and got the funds into my account after only a couple of days from when I first made my application for the loan.I definitely wouldn't be going to this auction if it hadn't been for Lloyds Bank sorting out my loan for me so quickly and I just think they deserve a good review from me as a way of saying thanks to them.

When I was looking at the options for the Lloyds Bank personal loan I wanted, it was a difficult decision trying to decide on whether to opt for a short term loan with a lower rate or a longer loan period with a higher rate. The overall cost of the loan would be cheaper if I went for the short term loan but it would mean a higher monthly repayment and that is where I had my dilemma. Do I go for the short term loan and not have much of my salary to spare after making the higher repayments or do I opt for the longer loan period and have a much more affordable monthly repayment that will still leave me with a nice buffer of spare cash.I decided on the second option because at the end of the day the purpose of the loan was to enhance my life not complicate it. I'd rather have five years of comfortable repayments than 1 year of watching every pound I spend so as to make sure I can meet the cost of the monthly repayments. Some people might think I made the wrong choice but Lloyds Bank seemed to understand and accepted my reasons so I'm happy with that.

I can't believe how easy it is to get a personal loan these days. Well what I really mean is how easy it is to apply for one. Doing the whole thing online didn't necessarily mean I was definitely going to get approved for a loan but I had a pretty good idea I would get it because of the really helpful loan calculator tool that most banks like Lloyds seem to have these days. The only thing you can't guarantee is that your credit history check won't be a problem and for me personally that was my biggest worry. Fortunately, it turned out that my credit rating was much better than I thought and my loan was approved by Lloyds Bank within a couple of days. The money has just been deposited into my account and apart from the slight worry about my credit rating, I couldn't ask for a better method of borrowing money unless my bank manager looked like David Beckham. In which case I would insist on meeting him personally to discuss the loan at great length!

Lloyds bank is a very good choice for people who want to borrow money but like to know exactly where they stand. I say this because they offer a FIXED interest rate with no sudden unexpected surprises.... No hidden fees either and this I know because my cousin borrowed from them £7500 2 years ago and now 2 years later , he is still paying exactly the same installment. He days they have always been on the level. For this reason I too applied to borrow £4000 last week, and today less than a week later the funds are already in my account ready to be used. Good work Lloyds. Keep it up!

It is my husbands birthday today the 22nd of January and I decided to surprise him by booking a 4 days little break in a lovely quaint hotel in the countryside. I confess that as I wanted to keep it a secret I could NOT go draw the money out of our accounts, so the answer to the dilemma was to take out a personal loan with Lloyds. They are a reputable bank and I was sure the loan would be approved with no ado and quickly. I did it on line. It was easy and the small amount of £2000 was granted and available in a question of days. I thank Lloyds for living up to expectations.

I congratulate Lloyds Bank for being quick at authorizing the loan I requested, for the professionalism in which they handled the entire application and for offering a fair interest rate. I was able to secure a £9000 loan to refurnish our cottage and make my wife happy. The loan was granted over a 48 month period as Im happy that I can cope with the repayments, and so is obviously Lloyds. Thank you Lloyds for the excellent service you always provide. Its my 2nd loan with you and again you did not disappoint. Great also that your interest rate is fixed as this way I always know where I stand.

I have a lot of respect for Lloyds Bank as I have taken out 3 loans with them in the last 20 years since I started banking with them. I feel that they are a reputable Bank that live up to their reputation. With all the loans, I have never noticed them take out any more money than what they have committed to. There have never been hidden charges and they have always been professional with me. I recently advised a friend to approach them. He did so, and is equally satisfied. With so many negative vibes out there about banks, I felt I should write this. Fixed interest rates that they offer are a major plus too.

My name is Filomena Cannobio, I am a business woman and not so long ago,I decided to borrow £6000 from Lloyds bank because I had heard from a family member that they were one of the banks offering the best deals around. I used the calculator to see what my installments would be but although enlightened I did not feel comfortable to go through with the application procedure online. Therefore I went to the branch itself and posed some questions. Once satisfied I finalized my application. The loan was granted rather swiftly. I like the possibility of going to speak to someone face to face. I think they are a viable option.

I've just spent a couple of hours booking my Summer holiday and it has taken me longer than it did for me to apply for my personal loan with Lloyds Bank to pay for it! If only everything in life was so simple and straightforward.I'm not the most competent when it comes to using a computer but I still found the whole loan application process much easier than I thought it would be. I wasn't too clued up on interest rates and APRs but my flatmate works for a bank and she told me I had got a good deal with this loan so that make me feel even better. She's been trying to persuade me to change banks and open an account with hers but I think she has just shot that argument right out of the water by telling me that my own bank has given me such a good deal. Silly girl!

I didn't do my loan application online because I wanted to discuss my options with someone over the phone before I committed myself to any particular loan.Lloyds Bank have a really helpful loan advice service which enabled me to discuss every aspect of the loan I was think of taking out before I signed on the dotted line. They advised me on the best way to keep the interest rate as low as possible for the amount I needed to borrow and that is really what I wanted to know before going ahead with the loan.I'm taking this loan out over a shorter period which does mean higher monthly repayments but they are still within my affordability and that all important interest rate is much lower than if I had taken the loan out over a longer period. So I am very happy with the outcome and it was definitely worth having that conversation with the Lloyds Bank loan adviser.

Im Peter Huxley and for Xmas last year I wanted to surprise my fiancée with a little car as hers was really falling apart, too many engine problem and the repairs were too much to make it liable to keep the piece of scrap! I went on line on the readies.co.uk website, hoping to be able to borrow from Lloyds the £6000 that I needed. As I have a current account with them, it stood to reason to check them out also before opting for another institution. I had checked what the others offered, so when I compared it to what Lloyd offered, I realized that it was a fair deal. An installment of less than £170 payable during 48 months was acceptable, so I applied. The application was accepted and approved and to my delight I was able to present my fiancée with her car on Xmas eve. They not bad at all Lloyds.

As Lloyds is a bank with a good name and reputation and as I also happen to bank with them, it was my first choice when I needed a quick £3000 loan last week. I am aware that the competition is fierce out there, with many lending institutions offering loans, but I decided that I would do a quote with Lloyds first and if the installments seemed too steep I would then approach another institution. Also if there was too much red tape, I would go elsewhere. Fortunately none of the above were an issue. The interest rate was fixed and the application was simple and straight forward. They approved my request in less than one hour and 4 days later the money had been credited to my account. I am rather impressed with the whole procedure, so am letting others know that with me, it all went smoothly. Hope the same happens to others.

I am writing this review to say that I am a happy Lloyds customer. I have a current account as well as a savings account with them and now I also have a personal loan with them. I applied on line for £2000, filled in the very simple application form, requested the loan over 24 months, gave all my details, information, salary, expenses details etc and submitted it. I did check out and compare the interest rates that they offered before making my final decision. I had an almost instant answer from them and to my delight the loan was conceded. I am able to use the funds for any purpose I want. Thumbs up Lloyds and thank you. Proud of my bank!

My fiance and I have taken out this loan with Lloyds Bank to pay for the renovations on our house. Our parents are paying for the wedding which is brilliant because it means we can take out a fairly big loan to do the work needed without having problems making the repayments. There is no way we could have afforded to do both without seriously cutting back on either or both of these projects or getting a much larger loan which we really could not afford to do.Lloyds Bank have given us a really good quote on this loan and if all our calculations are correct we should even have a bit of money spare to have a nice honeymoon which we have decided to postpone until the summer so that we can get started on the renovations immediately.

With our personal loan from Lloyds Bank we are going to be able to pay off all our credit cards and start 2016 with a clean slate. We've been married 3 years and we've still been socialising like we were still footloose and fancy free when the reality is we have a mortgage and we hope to start a family in the not too distant future. We wanted to clear all our bad debts and get ourselves back on track so that if and when my wife has to give up work we will be able to get by with just my salary.Once the cards are paid off we will have so much more spare cash even after the loan repayment is made each month. We are going to put that money to better use and we definitely won't be hiking up the credit cards again. My wife has even suggested that we cut them up but I said we might need them in an emergency so we should just rely on willpower instead and she reluctantly had to agree with me even though she knows my willpower is much stronger than hers.

It took me a couple of days to sort out my online loan application with Lloyds Bank. I kept getting interrupted by my flatmate and her latest boyfriend dramas. Finally, when she had finished with her Bridget Jones histrionics and gone out for some retail therapy, I had the flat to myself and could concentrate on the important and now rather urgent task of getting a personal loan.I was on a deadline to get the money in time to pay off my credit card debts before I could book my holiday to Spain. Fortunately for me I got the loan just in time and I have been able to sort out all the credit cards and book my flights. It feels really good to have been able to do that so early in the year. I am going to be much more strict with my use of credit cards in future but judging by the amount of retail therapy my flatmate seems to need I don't think she'll be ditching her credit cards any time soon!

Lloyds Bank have finally put me out of my misery and approved my personal loan. Everything started off quickly and the loan calculator indicated that I would be able to afford the loan but once I applied for the personalised quote everything seemed to grind to a halt.I ended up having to chase them up by phone which was very frustrating but once I realised they were just checking my credit history and that it had all been given the OK I was just more relieved than anything else.I have a few friends who have been refused loans because of their credit history and I would have been mortified if that had happened to me because I am always going on about how important your credit rating is and they think I am a bit of a goody two shoes when it comes to managing my finances.I don't really mind being labelled goody two shoes because I'm sure there are worse names they could be calling me and at the end of the day I did get my loan!

Lloyds Bank have a loan calculator on their website so I knew roughly what I would be taking on with my personal loan before I had it confirmed with my personalised quote. If it's your first time taking out a loan it can be really helpful and you can avoid applying for a loan that you are going to be refused. I learned out the hard way with my first loan application a few years back and it goes against you when you approach other lenders for a loan if you have had a recent loan refusal from another lender. Looking for a loan can be really stressful but I found it so much easier with the Lloyds Bank online loan calculator tool.

We took out this loan with Lloyds Bank rather than trying to wait until we had saved the money for our trip to New Zealand or dipped into our savings. Goodness, we'd still be driving out first car, a battered old mini clubman, if we'd not got a loan to buy our Ford Cortina when our twins were born and we needed a bigger car. We've always banked with Lloyds Bank and we've had our loans from them over the years and they have been able to give us competitive loans each time. We are delighted than now nearly 30 years later we are still getting loans from them and what little bit of savings we have managed to accumulate can remain safely in our savings account for a few more years.

Lloyds Bank have been my bank since I left school and went to college. I have never really felt the need to change banks since then because I really didn't have a great deal of need for them on a day to day basis and so I was just happy to continue in this way.It was only when I needed to take out this personal loan that I began to think about my bank in a different way. All of a sudden competitive APRs and interest rates became an important issue for me and I had to figure out whether or not Lloyds Bank were going to 'cut the mustard' when it came to giving me a competitive rate on my personal loan.I didn't have to do too much work to find out because their online loan application with it's loan calculator tool gave me a very good idea of what they were offering and I was happy with it. I applied for a personalised quote immediately and have just been approved a loan that is even better than I thought it would be.So no need for me to think about changing banks for the time being. As the saying goes, 'if it isn't broke, don't try fixing it'!

When I went on to the Lloyds Bank website to look at what they were offering by way of their personal loans I was relieved to see that they have one of those loan calculator tools because it really did help me to make up my mind about how much I could realistically afford to borrow without compromising myself. Once I had done the litmus test so to speak, I then decided to speak to the loan adviser at my local branch because I just wanted to make doubly sure that I hadn't miscalculated. The loan adviser was really helpful and we went through all my details and financial outgoings before he did his own calculations. I even more relief because his calculations more or less agreed with mine and that meant I could afford to go ahead with the loan with confidence in my ability to be able to make the repayments.I could have just gone ahead and applied for the loan without speaking to the loan adviser but I am glad I took the time to do that because it does make me feel a lot happier about taking on this loan.

It was time to change my car and as I have owned my current vehicle for several years I was not going to get much of a trade in value for it. I would have to come up with cash or use the dealerships credit company.I always wonder if the credit offered by the dealerships are above what the market rate is and decided to apply to my bank for a personal loan.Lloyds have always been a good bank to work with so it did not take much effort to make this decision. I went on line and with the help of the calculating tool, worked out how much my payment was likely to be. Having settled on a figure I plugged that into the application form and submitted it with my other information. I asked for the Flexible Personal Loan which offers a bit more flexibility and the terms would probably suit me very well. I was not surprised when Lloyds came back with a favourable quote, which I liked and accepted, a decision in my favour came through, Great now I could go car shopping. Lloyds Bank has not failed me yet.

I was in my local branch of Lloyds Bank a few weeks back transacting some business when I decided to speak to a member of staff about getting a personal loan. It was a spur of the moment thing, but one that worked out very nicely.I had totted up some debts that I would rather have turned into a one payment deal, therefore consolidating the out goings. A personal loan was one way to achieve this I thought, so went ahead and sat down with the member of staff. The lady was very helpful and assisted me in completing the application. It was a pretty easy form and in no time at all, she was calling me with a quote. The terms were doable and I asked for a decision. Within the hour they came back and offered me the personal loan I was seeking. There was no hanging around and it was a quick process. Very pleasing.

Having banked with Lloyds for a couple of years I was interested in asking for a personal loan to pay off my student fees. I was not sure if they would consider me or grant me a loan for this reason. I figured it was best to go in and talk to them. So I did.The loan officer in the bank was very pleasant and said that my banking practices were in good stead and I should try to obtain a loan for the purpose of paying off my student fees, he did not think that would be a problem. We filled out the application and I went for a short term loan to keep the interest rate down. He submitted the forms and said he should hear back soon, so I went shopping and returned to find he had received a personal quote for me. The terms were acceptable so I asked for a final decision. That came through as well and the money was in my account within a couple of days. I'm glad I went to Lloyds,it was a good decision.

I was disgusted with the credit card statements I received last month, the interest rates never seem to stop going up. It was time to put a stop to these balances and I figured if I went to my bank, I might be able to get a loan to pay them off. Lloyds Bank has always been a good bank to do business with so I thought I would go on line to their website and have a read of the terms and conditions they offered.I liked what I read and really expected nothing else from Lloyds, they are a no frills bank, no small print just the facts. I used the calculator and could see what sort of repayment I might get, which was okay and I could afford it. The interest rate was certainly a lot better than I was getting on the cards. I submitted the application and within a short time they came back with a quote, wow that was quick. It all looked pretty good to me, so I said I will take it and then a decision came back offering me the loan. I was on my way to paying off those cards.

I looked at their website to study up on the loan requirements and decided to go for it and fill out the application. The calculating tool was really handy and I could see what I was getting into, as regards payments and possible interest rates.I liked the idea of being able to pay back early too, if I came into some money, they said there would be no charges. It was not too long after submitting the forms that I received a personal quote, this was very doable and I waited for a decision. They did not make me wait long at all. I had access to the funds within a few days.

He was convinced we could find a better loan but I was sure my own bank would be just as good if not better. We'll never know if you don't check them out said my godson but I do read the newspapers and watch the TV enough to know what the going rate is for a decent loan and Lloyds Bank were offering that for short term personal loans which is the type of loan I wanted. At my age you don't think long term for things! We finally got the loan application done and I was more than happy with the quote I got back from Lloyds so I agreed to it there and then. When the finalised loan was ready and I had agreed to all the terms and conditions the funds went into my account.I gave my godson his money. I went to my own bank for a loan to buy a really nice secondhand BMW. I was originally going to take out the finance that the dealership were offering but I knew that would be a bad move. So I went to my local branch of Lloyds during my lunch hour and sounded them out about a loan for the amount I needed and not only did their loan adviser warn me off the dealership finance but he also told me that I could be eligible for an affordable loan based on my salary and subject to a satisfactory credit check. Alarm bells rang a bit when he said about the credit check because I have friends that have missed out on loans because the credit check went against them. It was an agonising couple of days before I got the thumbs up but since then I have been on cloud 9 because I have got my loan and that BMW is very shortly going to be mine thanks to Lloyds Bank.

This is the first loan I have had from Lloyds and thats not to say its my first loan but as far as loans go this is by far the best deal I have had with one. I have been using the online lenders for short term loans and probably been paying over the odds in interest rates but thats the price you pay for quick results when you need to borrow money fast.I had plenty of time to think about this loan and it was going to be for much more than I've borrowed in the past so I took my time and after doing a bit of research I decided that Lloyds were my best option.I've been banking with them for quite a while and they know me and my credit history. Lloyds Bank don't always suit me when I need to get a loan because it is usually at the end of the month when I just need a couple of hundred quid to tide me over to pay day. But they are the best option for me when it is serious lending because they're well established responsible lenders that look after their customers and don't let them take on loans that over stretch their financial capability. I need to be with a bank that is not just competitive but one that has a conscience and knows their customers and what they can and can't afford to borrow.

We as couples clearly have different ideas about what constitutes a Summer holiday and for me and my husband that almost certainly has to include some proper sunshine and not a quick glimpse of it in between the clouds. So we are going to book our villa in the sun and my sister and her husband will be more than welcome to join us because I think that's the only way we will be getting together with them this Summer.

This is a big moment in my life because I am taking out this loan with LLoyds Bank, my first ever loan, and its to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I really don't know what I would have done if Lloyds had refused me the loan. My dad said he sold his car to buy my mum's engagement ring and I thought there is no way I'm doing that.Fortunately Lloyds were on my side and they worked out a loan for the amount they were happy that I could afford to pay back easily and it wasn't too different to what I was hoping to borrow anyway. My money has just come through and now my next problem is buying the right ring. My mum says I should just propose and then take my girlfriend shopping so that she can choose the ring. But my dad said I should make sure I steer her clear of the expensive ones unless I want to be going back to Lloyds for another bigger loan!

I had to find the cash quickly to get the wife another car after her little runaround finally gave up and we had to have it towed away for scrap. She can't be without a car for too long because of her job and I got through the first couple of weeks by hiring a car from a local rental firm. We obviously didn't want to be doing that for too long so I had to act fast.Lloyds Bank were very helpful and they approved the loan straight away I just had to wait a couple of days for the usual checks to be made but in the meantime I found another good little car for the wife and put a deposit on it until the loan money came through. We got it all sorted just in time so that I didn't have to pay out for another hire car and my wife is delighted with her new car and that always makes for an easy life!

I have been able to borrow the money from Lloyds bank to pay for my parents to come and visit me here in London. They have never visited me here since I moved to take up my teaching job 5 years ago.I have a spare room now so they will be able to stay with me and not in a hotel which they would not like because they are very simple people and don't like a lot of fuss.I opened my bank account with Lloyds when I first moved here and they have been a very good bank to trust with your money and now that they have approved my loan I think they are an even better bank.

My first big loan with Lloyds Bank and it really couldn't have gone smoother. I knew roughly how much I needed to borrow but had absolutely no idea what they was going to cost me in monthly repayments until I went online and started doing the application process. It didn't take long for me to see exactly what Lloyds loan calculator considered my limit to be but fortunately it wasn't too different from what I needed to borrow. I just hoped that once the loan got to the credit check part Lloyds wouldn't have any issues with it otherwise I would be in big trouble. Luckily they were ok with everything to do with my credit history and they approved the loan straight away. A little bit of a heart racing moment but I got the loan in the end so thats the main thing.

Lloyds bank is a household name. very popular and very well know across the UK. For this reason I applied with them for a £6000 personal loan. I did compare the interest rate they offer with other institutions, I did not see too much of a difference, so I went with them only because I felt safer with a reputable bank, I guess. I did not want to pay a huge installment each month, so I decided to spread the payments over a longer period of time. 4 years was good, as it meant repaying only £156 per month which I could comfortably cope with. I was also reassured that I could pay the loan back earlier if I cared to, which I felt was also a good sign. Their answer was instant and my loan was authorized. I liked the fact that it was all smooth.

I was playing around with the on line calculator last weekend, to try work out how much my installments would be if I borrowed £3000 from my bank Lloyds.I checked what the repayments would be over like 5 years, and over 2 years.I was SO shocked to see that there is a huge difference in the interest charged, depending on the length of time it takes you to pay the loan back.Based on this I finally settled for paying it back over 2 years. It meant tightening the belt a little more, but a huge saving overall as I was offered a lower rate. The loan was given to me within a few minutes and the cash transffered to my current account.I am happy enough with Lloyds and think they are ok.

My name is Paula Hensley and I am soon to be married to a wonderful man, my high school sweetheart. He is a good man but when he proposed to me and asked me to marry him, he took me to the jeweler store so I could chose an engagement ring and was a little taken aback when my choice cost £5000! He could not afford it, so I agreed to pay for it myself as we were soon to be married and what is mine is his and vice-versa. I earn good wages and have banked with Lloyds for the last 4 years, having a good credit rating. I filled in the application form on line and chose to repay the loan in 4 years, so that we would not feel it at all. The interest was higher than what I expected but I would rather it be that way, than struggle during the repayments. Lloyds bank was very professional and it all went well from beginning to end. I now have my favorite ring and in April we will be married. Lloyds made it possible with no stress!

I did not realize that because I have banked with Lloyds Bank for the last 8 months, that I am now eligible to apply for personal loans if I need to.It was my sister who pointed this out to me, as I drive an old car and lately it has gone for repairs far too often. She suggested I take advantage of this fact to apply for a loan.I have a reasonable good job and my car was a cash buy, so I decided to take her advice.I went to the branch of Lloyds in my own town and applied over the counter for £5000, payable over 48 months.the lady helped me to fill all the document in and one week later the cash was in my current account, to do with, as I pleased.it wasnt even a hard procedure and they were very helpful at customer services.Good show!

My name is Peter Fowler and I am a young business man who live in London.I have saved religiously for the last 8 years with the intent to buy myself a nice Mercedes sport and have succeeded in putting together everything I need , well....almost.I find myself £8000 short and just am not willing to wait any longer, so I feel that if I borrow from Lloyds it will be an affordable amount to pay back over 2 years.Being the first time I apply for a loan, I was a little apprehensive, but with the help of my wife, I did manage to apply on line and use their calculator to calculate what the installments would be.Filling in the application was simple enough. The interest rate offered also seemed within reason and I did keep reminding myself that this was a reputable bank....The loan was given and I have since bought my car. What I am most pleased about is the simplicity of it all and thus can recommend Lloyds to others that may have their doubts.

Overall this whole experience of taking out a personal loan with Lloyds Bank has been fairly good. In spite of the fact that we found the whole loan calculator tool pretty unreliable and we actually ended up with a completely different calculation by the time our loan application went through and the final loan bore no resemblance to the initial quote. In the end we got the amount we needed and the loan period is far longer than we would have liked but it has made the repayments much more affordable and the overall interest rate is within the parameters of what we were willing to pay.Applying for a loan online isn't always as straightforward as you would like, but with Lloyds Bank we got there in the end and we are more than happy with the loan agreement we eventually ended up with.

Lloyds Bank have done a good job with the personal loan they have just approved for me. I had a few specific requirements which I couldn't put across via their online application so I dealt directly with the loan adviser of my local branch who has done a superb job at tweaking their standard personal loan to fit in with my requirements. Its not quite tailor made because I have had to compromise slightly with some of the terms of the loan but all in all I am very happy with the final loan agreement and it came with a very competitive APR which was a very important factor for me. I would definitely give them 8/10 for this loan.

I actually wasn't a customer of Lloyds initially, and did all my banking with another company, but my sister had always used them for all her banking needs, and told me about a great deal she got on a loan with them. I had also been thinking about getting a loan for quite some time, but assumed she had just been given a great deal because she was a long term customer. I decided that the best way to find out would be to go in and speak to one of their advisers, and although they couldn't offer me quite the same deal as they had given to my sister, it was pretty close, and certainly better than what I'd been offered by their competitors. I've since decided to change and do all my banking with Lloyds too as they offered me such a great service.

I saw an advert for Lloyds on television and they advertised some great rates. When I first looked into applying for a loan, I used one of those loan comparison sites, but they actually only compared a few companies, so I'm not entirely sure I was getting a fair comparison. So after seeing their advert I decided to go to their website directly, and compare what quote they could offer me with the other offers I had gotten previously. I don't know if it's just because of the type of loan I was applying for, or because of the way they calculate client affordability, but they offered me a much better deal, and this is what made me choose them above everyone else.

The website for Lloyds is great. It can seem a bit overwhelming at first, or at least it was for me, but I think that was just because I had been looking at other companies that offered just loans, rather than a whole range of financial services like Lloyds. I was looking for help with debt consolidation, which had put some other lenders off, but Lloyds were very helpful, and presented me with my options in a clear and understandable way. After filling out my details on their website, all the following communication happened very quickly, and the money was in my account before I even had time to worry about missing repayments from my other outstanding debts.

When my daughter told me she was getting married, I was so so proud, and knew right away that I wanted her to have the absolute perfect wedding day, no expense spared. I looked into several different financial options, and in the end settled on a personal loan. Even though my daughter tried to dissuade me, it was important to me to be able to provide this. After all, I hope she will only be getting married once! My financial history is reasonably good, so I wasn't expecting any problems in getting a loan approval. What was a nice surprise though was the great rate Lloyds offered me. They outshone their competitors I had also got a quote with, and also came up with a repayment scheme that fitted in with my salary perfectly.

A new car is such a large investment, and one that I just couldn't afford without a little financial help. My Mum had told me that taking out a loan was a bad idea as the interest rates are always really high and that I wouldn't be able to cope with the large repayments. Thankfully, the service I found with Lloyds certainly proved her theory wrong. I was able to find a personal loan that suited me perfectly – I got a low interest rate, and can pay the money back over the next five years in very manageable repayments. It's been great to finally get the car I've wanted for ages, and even better to prove my Mum wrong.

My grandmother is a really keen gardener, and when she came to visit the new house I've just moved into, she gave me a whole lecture about how terrible the garden was and all the things I needed to do with it. I knew she wasn't going to stop going on about it until I did something, so I decided to just hire a local gardening company to do all the hard work for me. Such a service wasn't cheap, so I took out a loan with my bank. I know a lot of people turn to the internet these days for their financial needs, but I've always been happy with my banks services, so wanted to remain loyal to them. I wasn't disappointed at all, and got quick and good value service.

It was such a relief for me when Lloyds approved my personal loan application. As a first time borrower, I wasn't really sure what to expect, and didn't really know a lot about credit scores or interest rates. With Lloyds I was able to speak to a member of their team on the phone, who talked me through the process and helped me with some of the more complicated parts of the application process. Now I have not only received the money I was in desperate need of, but I understand a lot more about loans and even learnt a couple of tips to help me keep track of my finances.

I don't know why people are always moaning about their bank. If you aren't happy with them, change them. I have been with Lloyds Bank all my working life and they have never really let me down. This current personal loan is a good example of how consistently they have managed to stay competitive in spite of all the competition out there. I don't suffer fools gladly and I certainly wouldn't stay with a bank for over 30 years if they weren't doing their job properly and Lloyds Bank are, in my opinion, doing a good enough job if this personal loan is anything to go by.

I am not a great one for change but I have to say I rather like the fact that I could apply for a personal loan from Lloyds Bank without having to leave the comfort of my own home to do so. I'm sure most banks operate this online system now so its just as well I have taken some computer lessons from my grandson. I don't want to be left behind when it comes to technology that is going to be of benefit to me. I applied for my Lloyds Bank loan this morning and I knew exactly what I was letting myself in for because they have this marvellous loan calculator tool as its known, which gave me a fairly accurate quotation before I made my formal application. I received the approval this afternoon and hope to have the funds in my account within the next couple of days. I can even manage the loan online as well now that I am au fait with internet banking. You see, you can teach an old dog new tricks!

I hope Lloyds Bank can keep up this competitive streak of theirs when it comes to loans. I am very happy with the personal loan they have just approved for me and next year my fiancee and I are planning to get married and we will be requiring another personal loan to help with the cost of it. My fiancee isn't a current customer of Lloyds Bank but we plan to open a joint account next year and get our loan for the wedding paid into that account. Hopefully it will all go to plan and will get just as good a deal as I have with this loan. Don't let me down Lloyds Bank I'm counting on you!

Thank you so much LLoyds Bank for this really great loan. It's going to help me massively with my move to my new flat and without exaggerating, I don't know what I would have done if you had refused me this loan. I am not a big fan of using online lenders as my sister got her fingers burnt with a loan she took out a couple of years ago with a lender we had never heard of before but her bank had refused her a loan and she went to this lender in desperation. It all ended rather badly for her. But I don't have any worries on that score because I like banking with Lloyds. I trust them and I really didn't want to get my loan from anyone else, so I am really glad I didn't have to.

My wedding in June is going to be fantastic and its not just because I will be marrying the love of my life. Its also because I will be doing it in style thanks to this brilliant loan from Lloyds Bank. I don't plan on walking down the aisle more than once so this wedding has to be perfect and the loan I have taken out with Lloyds Bank is going to make sure that is the case. I know my fiance has taken out a loan to pay for our dream honeymoon although he wont tell me where it is going to be until our wedding day but I just know it is going to be one of our dream locations in either the Seychelles or the Maldives. So me taking on this loan myself is the least I can do because we have already saved up quite a bit of the cost already. It will be paid back long before I am thinking about giving up work to have a family so I am not worried at all about being able to afford the repayments.

I must be off my head or just very much in love because the loan I have taken out with Lloyds Bank to buy an engagement ring is bigger than the loan I had to buy my last car. My mates think I am definitely mad to be spending that much on a ring but that's because none of them have met their dream girl yet but I am sure they would be doing the same if they were in my position.I got my car finance loan from Lloyds Bank but I went onto the Readies loan comparison website to make sure they were still offering competitive rates for their personal loans. They were so I just went ahead and applied online during my lunch hour at work and before I had left to go home the loan had been approved. The loan money has come through now and I am going to make my second largest purchase this weekend although it will be coming in the smallest of boxes.

I thought finding an affordable personal loan to help with the cost of some major DIY work that I was about to tackle would be time consuming and frustrating. That's until I took my wife's advice and looked on the internet and in particular the Readies loan comparison website first. I am so pleased that I did because within a couple of hours I had not only discovered that our own bank were offering really good rates on their personal loans, but that I could do the whole loan application through my online banking.Lloyds Bank really couldn't make it any easier for their customers to get a competitive loan that is both affordable and convenient. Being able to manage this loan through my online banking is going to be so useful too as I don't think I will have much spare time on my hands once I start the DIY.

I had a few other loan options on the back burner in case I didn't get approved for my personal loan with Lloyds Bank but thankfully I didn't have to use them. I wanted a loan to help pay towards my wedding and ideally I wanted to take the loan out with my own bank so that I could manage it with my online banking.I know a lot of people don't bother with their own bank for loans these days because there are so many other options but if your bank are advertising good rates I personally think it is better to get your loan through them. I took out a similar loan with Lloyds 3 years ago and it went very smoothly with no problems at all so I just wanted to get a similar package with this current loan. I actually think I have got an even better deal than the last time so I am even more pleased to have been approved this loan.

My poor little boy had his brand new bike stolen just days after his birthday from out back garden. He was absolutely devastated and cried himself to sleep for days. Me and my misses were beside ourselves with what to do, we'd just spent a small fortune on him for his birthday and his bike was easily the most expensive and loved gift of them all. My misses was talking to a friend about what had happened and he suggested Getting a personal loan, he'd not long got one himself from lloyds to do up there garden for summer. We decided it was worth applying to see what kind of quote we got and what the terms would be. We were really surprised at how affordable the loan was, we couldn't borrow less than a grand thou witch was more than we needed but we decided to use the rest of the money to buy a shed for the garden so we could now securely lock the kids bikes away to prevent this happening again. Lloyds TSB worked well for us! So a little while ago me and my boyfriend accidentally broke my bed, now don't get any funny ideas it wasn't due to any silly business! We were actually moving the furniture around so we could paint the walls. While moving it I dropped my end in an awkward manner so the main wooden bed support broke badly. I was really upset with myself for being so clumsy but then my bf told me about this loan his flat mate had gotten from lloyds for a new car and that maybe I should see about a loan for a bed. I was a bit worried about getting what would be my first loan but once I'd had a long conversation with Alice (my loans officer) about the best amount and way to pay back my loan I felt so at ease. I ended up borrowing enough to buy a whole new bedroom set, I love it! Turns out the bed breaking wasn't so bad after all!

As a long time customer of Lloyds Bank I was always going to opt for one of their Flexible Personal Loans if the interest rates were favourable. I was keeping an eye on what the other high street lenders were offering with their personal loans and fortunately Lloyds were keeping up with them and were a lot more competitive than some of the banks that I thought might be offering the best deals. My 25K loan over 5 years is a very big commitment for me but I feel a lot happier knowing that I have taken out this loan with my own bank and that with Lloyds Bank having given me such a good banking service over the many years I've been with them this will continue to be the case with this loan.

This is the second Flexible Personal Loan that I've had from Lloyds Bank in the past 5 years. The first one was to buy a car for my daughter after she passed her driving test. Now it's the turn of my youngest daughter to take to the roads and I wanted to borrow a bit more for her car as car prices have gone up a bit in 5 years and she should be driving a safe and sturdy little car like her big sister did. She's traded that in now for a flashier model now that's she's working and earning her own money. My wife did a bit of research online this time to see if we could find a better deal but Lloyds Bank were still offering very competitive rates on their personal loans so I didn't see the point of going with a different loan provider. I can manage this loan easily with my online banking facility which means making the repayments each month will be very straightforward. So that's another good reason to stick with Lloyds Bank as there's no point in complicating things when you don't have to and I certainly found the previous loan from Lloyds Bank was problem free.

My Flexible Personal Loan from Lloyds Bank is one of the best deals I could find after hours of looking online at different loan comparison websites. For me personally it would have to have been a really competitive deal from another lender for me to not go with Lloyds Bank. I don't think the best loan necessarily means just getting the lowest interest rate and for me this loan from Lloyds is more about the convenience which comes with the Flexible Personal Loan that Lloyds Bank offer. My loan is over an 18 month period which means the monthly repayments are going to be much more affordable than if I was paying it back over a 1 year period that most of the other lenders were insisting on. This flexibility in loan repayment periods is what made my choice to go with Lloyds bank so easy.

I found Lloyd Banking department excellent service.I have been a customer of the local branch for many years and find them very helpful. I first used the online calculator to work out how much I could borrow etc and then called an advisor to talk about the maximum loan limit. I wanted to borrow the full 25,000 to buy a new conservatory for the house. The length of the loan was set at five years with an assured APR. I found their service very quick and efficient with such helpful staff. I was able to order the conservatory immediately for delivery in 3 weeks.

Lloyds TSB have a great loan calculator tool on their website which made it so easy to work out how much I could realistically afford to borrow before I took the plunge and applied for my personal loan. I think it's really great that banks like Lloyds make applying for a loan so much easier than it used to be. You feel more in control of the situation and there shouldn't be any nasty surprises when you get that final confirmation of your loan agreement. My loan has just been finalised and Lloyds have transferred the funds to my account. I was fully informed and well aware of every aspect of this loan before I signed on the dotted line and I am very pleased indeed with the outcome. It was definitely worth going with my own bank for this loan and I hope Lloyds stay as competitive as they are at the moment.

My loan from Lloyds TSB comes after several hours of research on the internet using all the available loan comparison websites, only to discover I'm better off going to my own bank for the loan. Well at least I am 100% sure I've got the best possible deal for my personal circumstances after checking out what was available from several other lenders. I have also managed to get a fairly flexible loan that might not have been possible with another lender. There's a chance I might be able to pay back the loan earlier than the 3 year period I have opted for and if that happens I won't be hit with any additional charges. That's good to know and is a real incentive for me to try and repay the loan in a shorter period.

This is the first big loan I have taken out since my mortgage and I did a lot of looking on the internet before I eventually decided on going with my own bank. I was keen to get the very best APR I could for this loan and I was rather surprised to see that Lloyds Bank were amongst the top lenders for competitive rates. It also helped that Lloyds offer their customers a Flexible Personal Loan that allows you to tailor it to suit your specific loan requirements. For me it wasn't just about getting the lowest possible rate it was also about getting the shortest loan repayment period possible because I wanted to have this loan repaid before I ease myself into retirement within the next couple of years. I plan to reduce my working hours which in turn means a reduced salary and so having this loan repaid before that happens was a must for me. Lloyds were able to set up a repayment plan that will allow this so I couldn't be happier with the agreed terms and conditions.
