Aside from being the UK’s largest supermarket, Tesco (Tescobank.com) is now a major financial services provider, offering credit cards, savings, mortgages, travel products, insurance and loans, as well as a current account to its many customers. Tesco offers its customers the chance to collect extra points on their Clubcard when they purchase financial products, which can be redeemed for rewards and vouchers. Customers can access Tesco Bank online, over the phone, or in one of the in-store Tesco branches at their local supermarket.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Loans from Tesco Bank are available to UK residents, aged 18 or over. The offer given to each individual customer can vary, depending on their credit score, loan amount, and financial circumstances.

LOAN AMOUNT AND CHARGES:

The personal loan from Tesco Bank can be used to cover a wide range of expenses and costs, from paying for an important life event to making a major purchase. Customers can borrow anywhere from £3,000 to £25,000, with varying interest rates depending on the amount borrowed, the repayment term and the customer’s personal financial circumstances. Once you have received a rate, it will remain the same throughout the length of the loan, so you can rely on one predictable monthly repayment. The overall length of the loan can range from 12 months up to 120 months. Customers can repay their loan early, but will be charged up to two months interest.

PROCESS:

Customers can apply for a Tesco Bank personal loan online for an immediate decision. To receive the loan even faster, customers can pay an additional fee for a courier service to have the loan agreement documents delivered the next day.

PAYMENT:

Certain eligible customers can also benefit from a two-month repayment holiday at the start of their loan. Interest is still charged during the break and the overall length of the loan is extended by two months, but this gives you the chance to avoid repayments for the first couple of months if you’re concerned about making immediate repayments. If you’re interested in receiving the payment break, you’ll need to specify this in your application to be considered.

I was looking for a personal loan to cover some extra costs of the holiday I’m planning to take for some time. We’d been saving up all year but when some unexpected expenses cropped up we had to part with some of the cash, so I need a little extra to bridge the gap. I thought a loan would be a good way of making sure we enjoyed ourselves, and I could pay it back over the year. I’ve always been good about paying bills on time so I wasn’t worried about my credit score or not making the repayments.I saw the Tesco Bank personal loans advertised and I liked the look of some of the interest rates and repayment plans, so I applied online. I was approved in principle immediately, and was told to send in a few more details, including the past two months bank statements from my account. I send these in and a few days later the money was in my account- very quick and easy. I got a really low interest rate which I was especially pleased by, and the service was all smooth and efficient.I’ve got no complaints at all about the Tesco Bank personal loan and would happily use them again if I ever need the money. Getting loans isn’t ideal financially but with a great service like this it helps make the process much smoother. Thanks to Tesco Bank my family can now enjoy a much-needed holiday without stressing about money. I highly recommend the bank and their financial services.

I had high hopes for getting a loan from Tesco’s- I wanted to do some decorating as we have a family wedding coming up, but was disappointed by the process I had to go through. Usually, Tesco’s is very clear and precise in its marketing, but where their loans are concerned, this doesn’t seem to be the case. I applied for a loan that would give me extra clubcard points, but the original documents I was sent was difficult to understand and full of jargon. This was the first loan I applied for so I would have liked it to be easier to understand. I have to say that the people I spoke when I phoned up to try and get to grips with the paper work were excellent and were very understanding, especially when I took a while to get the correct information to them (my pay slips had to be re- issued). But the process seemed to be long drawn out and I nearly backed out at one stage thinking that I was never going to get the money. Since then, however, they have been great. The letters have been clear, and when I changed bank recently, the staff in the call centre couldn’t have been more helpful in rearranging the direct debit payments. All in all, it could have been a better experience, but we got there in the end!

I was searching all over for a personal loan to sort out some of the costs of sending our twin daughters to France for the holidays. Without a personal loan, there was no way that I could make my princess's dreams come true. My wife and I sat down to see if there was a way to cut corners and finance their trip without a loan, but we realized that it was just not going to happen. We wanted to get a personal loan that would not only cover the costs of the trip, but also leave us with a bit of extra cash to spoil ourselves. My wife noticed an advert online from Tesco Bank. There personal loans seemed very reasonable, their interest rates were affordable and their repayment plan suited what I had in mind. I could not believe how simple it was to get approved for the loan that I needed. The online application was set out clearly and there was absolutely no guess work involved. I sent in the relevant proof needed and within a couple of days I had my cash in my account. I got a great interest rate, especially since I was a first-time applicant.Tesco is one of the top lenders in the industry and their track record proves that! This is a company that you can rely on to help you when you need it most. The service is superb, the application process is user friendly and the turn-around time is amazing. There really is nothing that I can complain about. Tesco Bank was there when I needed them, they made the process so simple and they are the reason that my little girls are now living the life of luxury in France. I would definitely send all my friends and family their way. Thanks Tesco!

These days there are a huge amount of different companies that offer several different loan options and some are obviously better than others. Loans can be compared and contrasted against each other in a number of ways, such as the interest rate, the pay back time and how quickly the money enters your account. This lender offers a large amount of money to be loaned to lender and therefore you are likely to get the amount that you are looking for, which is very good. With only %4.1 APR, this loan is also very competitive with many of the other companies that offer loans. Their system is set in stone, there is no irregularity when it comes to the payment. The loanee will know exactly where they stand from when the loan is taken out, to when the loan is eventually paid back in.Typically, this company has a pay back period of around 60 months and it simply could not be easier to know how much you have to pay back and exactly when you need to pay it back. This company give you a good break down of your monthly repayments so that you can successfully stay on top of your finances. The great thing about Tesco is that they also offer a maximum of 120 months to repay your loan in, this is good, as this gives a ten year period where you can pay your loan back if you are worried you won't have the money in time. This is one of the longest periods of loan repayment compared to many other companies, which shows just how flexible the company are.The company will accept your application straight away and they will simply have to look at a few bank statements and possibly a few more bits of information in order to prove you are able to pay the loan back. This is actually a good thing because often, they will identify whether or not you can actually pay the loan back in time or not.

When we knew my partner was being made redundant we guessed we'd struggle to get by every week. He didn't qualify for any redundancy money as he hadn't worked for that employer long enough, so we applied for a Tesco loan before he had to leave the job. The loan cheque arrived quickly and made us feel much more secure because we had a small nest egg in the bank while he was looking for work.I couldn't believe just how quick and easy it had been to apply for the loan online. I've got nothing but praise for Tesco Loans, they made our lives so much better at a time we knew we'd be struggling. We even earned Clubcard points for the loan transaction, giving us extra benefits with our weekly shop.I was working part-time and upped my hours to make sure we managed our loan repayments each month and we dipped into our nest egg at the times we couldn't make ends meet. If we hadn't had that money in the bank I hate to think how we could have managed when we relied on my wages alone, it would have been impossible and caused so much added pressure. He got another job after about three months, so we even managed to pay back the loan early. Thanks Tesco!

Tesco Bank offers a competitive rate of 4.1% representative APR for loans of £3,000 to £25,000. The rate offered is one of the lowest and most competitive on the market. Loans can be taken out over a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum period of 120 months. Reviewers have pinpointed Tesco Bank as one of the upcoming lenders that offer exceptional customer service. If you were to borrow £7,500 over a period of 60 months (5 years) then monthly repayments would equate to £138.20 and the total amount payable would be £8,292. Tesco Bank is relatively new within the lending sphere, but with such low rates customers are placing their trust in the UK’s largest supermarket chain. Tesco is the United Kingdom's leading supermarket and always has strong advertising campaigns for every branch of their business. Taking out a loan with Tesco Bank is an informed choice because of their low interest rate and their superb customer services. When customers take out a loan they want to pay back as little in interest as possible and Tesco Bank offer this. Unlike many of the high street banks, Tesco Bank provide their customers with a rate that make monthly payments affordable, not astronomical.

I took out a personal loan with Tesco bank to complete some much needed building and renovation work on my home. The interest rates looked good to me and I was quite happy and confident I could make the repayments they were asking for, so we went ahead and took the loan. The application process was fairly straight forward, and a welcome change from some of the loans we have taken out in the past with millions of forms and a process that seems to make it near on impossible to get a loan without a printer. We applied online, and although we were asked for a couple more details these were sent over quickly, and we had our loan within a couple of days.A few weeks ago there was a bit of a mix up with my wages and I ended up having to pay it late by a couple of days, but after calling them and explaining they were fine. I think the problem people have with loan companies is seeing them as 'sharks' and not feeling they can talk to them. If you are forthcoming and honest with them they are happy to help, and I have found everyone I have spoken to at Tesco has gone out of their way to help me.I would use them again without a second thought, and have recommended them already to a friend.

I didn’t think that I was able to get a loan at Tesco until I saw their flyer one day when I was doing my shopping. I was thinking for a while that I’d buy a new car and had looked at some banks and other lenders, and of course explored some pay-day loan options as well. What struck me the most was their courier service for next day approval. We had to get a new car because it was in an accident (nothing serious, but the car was a complete write-off) and we needed a loan until the insurance money came through. We got a low interest rate of 4.1% and can take up to 3 years to pay it back.I even think we’re going to be able to pay off the loan earlier and they only hit you with a 2-month interest charge for this. It’s much less than with other providers. The rate is fixed as well so there are no worries with that.I can highly recommend their services, but you need to have a good credit record. Super-friendly customer service too!

After applying for a personal loan with Tesco, I was happy when my request was approved quickly. Two days later, I got my paper work. I quickly worked on it and posted after a day hoping to get the loan deposited in my account in less than 3 working days. Unfortunately, this was never to be. Two weeks later, I had received neither the money nor any information from the bank. Worried, I decided to make a follow-up. To my surprise, they informed me that even though they had received my application, it had not been worked on and, therefore, I had to reapply. I had to wait for another week as they conducted credit checks on me. What angered me during this time is that they never found it worthwhile to apologise for the inconvenience they had caused me. The hole week passed without hearing anything from them. It was on the second week after the beginning of my credit check that they called me. Finally my loan went through and was offered a gift voucher of £30 and an apology. However, the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. If you are planning to take a personal loan with Tesco, I would advise you not to. While not everyone will have the kind of experiences I had, it is better to take precautions.asdjyagdgajhdgh@yahoo.com

Tesco Supermarket in its endeavour to widen its services, ventured into financial services through Tesco Bank. One of the many products Tesco Bank offers is personal loans to individuals in the United Kingdom. The best part of this loans is that, they come with rewards in the form of extra points on Clubcard when you apply for them. The points can be redeemed for shopping vouchers in the Tesco supermarket.Tesco has representative APR of 4.1%, but this rate varies depending on the client’s financial circumstances, the length of repayment and the amount borrowed. The £3,000 to £25,000 Tesco offers to its clients are without any restrictions on the way to be used. The rate you get during application remains fixed for the repayment period you choose between 1 to 10 years. Early repayment is possible, but at a 2 month interest penalty. To apply for this loan, you can go to their website or over the phone or even just visit the in-store branches within the nearest Tesco supermarket. Some customers can access a repayment break of 2 months before commencement of repayment of the loan, giving them enough time to reorganise their finances to repay comfortably. The two month holiday is however charged interests. This is only possible if you state it in your application form.

I felt compelled to write this review following the exemplary and surprisingly personal service that I received from Tesco Bank.I've never been in debt before, never had a credit card and never taken out a loan. This was my first experience and, as expected, I was a little wary. There is a lot of scare-mongering in the media regarding loans companies.I was unexpectedly faced with several, simultaneous home-appliance failures. A faulty dishwasher, a leaking washing-machine and an (unrelated) water-damaged television. I don’t often have a large financial buffer to resort to in times of crisis, and I have had bad experiences with overdrafts in the past.I turned to Tesco as they are a large company with favourable rates. I know some of the payday-loan companies seem to have extortionate levels of interest. Tesco seemed reasonable though, and I was fairly desperate for the cash. The whole experience was smooth and easy. I was dealt with in a respectful and friendly manner. I was given a wealth of information on how and when to make payments. And my final payable mount was crystal-clear. I heartily recommend their service!I have now paid the loan off in full and have only positive opinion about the experience. It’s a great service to use in times of need.

I've been a happy customer of Tesco's since it launched its credit card so needless to say when the time arose to apply for a personal loan, they were the first name that sprang to mind. After reviewing the details on readies.com I was pleasantly surprised to find that it offered an APR of 4.1% which was amongst the some of the best, if not the best on the site.I've had personal loans through numerous other providers in the past and never have I had such a great deal! Surely there must be some mistake, a maximum loan term of 120 months? That's unbelievable! Combined with their manageable monthly payments and the option of a two month payment break (which I duly took them up on) I was only too happy to take them up on their offer. The online application process was quick and easy with an instant decision, I needed the loan as quickly as possible so I took advantage of their next day delivery to sign the loan agreement and get it returned to them, it arrived via courier the next day saving me at least three days of waiting. As I'm a returning customer I also didn't need to go through the process of setting up a new account, the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. As I say I've been a customer of Tesco Bank for years now and I'm used to their great offers however this exceeded even my high expectations.

When me and my wife was talking about us not having a holiday together since we've been married I was thinking of taking her away for the trip we would remember forever. The main problem was I didn't currently have enough cash to take her anywhere nice. It was when speaking to a friend at work where he mentioned about applying for a personal loan with Tescos. I was a little sceptical at first because it was Tescos, the place where I do my general shopping. It never occurred to me to actually borrow money from Tescos before. After a little bit of research I found out that Tescos was actually a pretty decent choice. They offered me a great rate of which I could easily make the repayments, and it meant our dream holiday was just about in reach. I really can't fault the service they provide in anyway. The thing that impressed me most was how efficient their personal loan service was and also how everything was clearly stated every step of the way. I thank Tescos from the bottom of my heart, and especially my good friend for advising me to apply for a loan at Tescos. I now feel I have an obligation to pass on this information so that others like myself can also apply for a loan and actually do something to make a dream come true.

Tesco Bank are now a market leader in the personal loans sector. The company who previously offered little more than your average supermarket goods now offer just about every financial facility you can think of. However, being a market leader should not necessarily be confused with being the best. Tesco's range appears to be limited and they have a very stringent lending policy, meaning a whiff of bad credit can put you well and truly out of the running. Additionally, they will not lend under £3000, meaning that a small loan is either out of the question, or that you will have to 'over borrow' in order to meet their criteria. An instant decision is available online; however, they do charge a rather high fee to receive the funds quickly, which is sure to tempt borrowers to try competitors who can offer the same speed of service for free. They are by no means the worst lender out there, but there are others who have been offering the same products for longer, and with better terms.

My father was terribly ill and admitted to a nearby hospital. I needed money urgently to pay for some of the bills. I had a very bad credit and I know that getting a favourable personal loan would be difficult for me. The first thing that came up to my mind was to consolidate some of my things at least to raise some money for my father’s medical treatment as I needed to deposit a certain amount for the treatment to proceed. I was disappointed to find out that I could not raise enough money after consolidating some of my possessions. A friend of mine actually talked me into considering loan option. I decided to find the most affordable lenders in the country that can help me with quick money, which I urgently needed. I was attracted to Tesco after I read some of its leaflets. The most important thing that attracted me was the fact that I can apply for their loan online and the signup was easy. I wanted to try it after taking time to go through their terms and conditions. I digested all the information about a personal loan and decided to try it.The application process was easy and the propping information guided me until I completed the application process, which took only a few minutes. The information really required was not difficult to provide. The amount I demanded from them was a big amount and I was afraid the application would be turned down because of my bad credit history. Secondly, it was the first time I was borrowing from them.I was surprised when my account was credited with the exact amount I requested from the bank. When I called the bank to confirm, they did not only confirm it but told me that confirmation would arrive soon. I am very much impressed with their customer support, a quick response rate, low interest rate, no hidden charges. The repayment terms were flexible. The loan helped save the life of my father. I am grateful for the bank and rate them highly for their high quality services.

First, I was sceptical taking out a loan from Tesco's, but by far they offered the best rate. I applied for 3000 pounds over two years and I got the money approved in an hour. I wanted to use the loan for home improvements, and got the money transferred in two working days. I have previously been let down by my own high street bank, and I am really happy I went to Tesco. Their rates are much lower, the application process is simple, and the advisors are based in the UK. At least I could understand when they were explaining me the different terms. I would recommend the customer service of Tesco Bank to anyone who wants their loan approved fast. I think that next time I will need a loan I will go straight to them and forget about banks' lengthy application procedures.

After spending all my life with the same furniture, I had it!After going through some health problems and coming out of it feeling like a new soul, I desperately needed to refurnish my home. I wanted to give a big new-chapter party at my house that felt refreshing and at the same time, that could give me a cosy feeling whenever I was home. After going through some furniture magazines, I chose all my furniture but having spent almost all my money in medications and doctor’s appointments I had to turn to a personal loan.I then found readies and after reading almost all the reviews, I opted with Tesco Bank. After a bit of a whirlwind romance our daughter announced that she was getting married to the young man we had only ever met a few times. Once my husband had calmed down and we had a long discussion with our daughter and her new fiancee we both agreed that he seemed like a really nice person and as our daughter is quite headstrong we knew we wouldn't be able to persuade her to wait a bit longer before taking such an important step so our next problem was how the heck were we going to pay for it.Because my husband works full time and I still have my part time job we knew we would be eligible for a personal loan and so we set about finding the right personal loan to suit our requirements. I never would have believed it but we have ended up with a loan from TescoBank at a much better rate than our own bank was offering and with an added bonus of extra clubcard points as well. The whole loan process from start to finish took less than a week and we were able to start planning our one and only headstrong daughter's dream wedding. I know I'm being very cynical and I shouldn't say it about my own daughter, but I said to my husband that I hope the marriage lasts longer than our loan period.

"When thing can go wrong, they'll go wrong." That's what counted for me too as I discovered lately. A seeming endless row of mini-disasters inside my house, suspecting British Gas to be the culprit at first but never found a real answer. At second thought I remembered that most of the appliances were purchased all together in the same yearReplacing the broken appliances seemed the only solution to prevent from more of such 'endeavors'. What worried me most was the question how to finance this all?A small loan with a installment company doesn't do the trick as I estimated the damages to rise above the 3000 quid so a personal loan seemed the best option to me, having my mortgage and credit card from Tesco my decision was made real quickly, calling them the other day finding my self to be eligible enough to opt for a personal loan, great £3,000, exactly what I needed and no need for more. I opted for a 12 month loan which was okay with Tesco Bank.I would like to state here that as far as I concern Tesco Bank once again has proven to be a great partner in life when it comes to the supply of quick services such as loans, debit cards and mortgages. Forced in the position not to be able to replace broken appliances 'on the fly', I notice ads from other of such companies but I ignore them, knowing that I'v found one of the best with Tesco.

After checking out several personal loan options online I eventually chose TescoBank. I had already approached my own bank for a loan and they were really slow in responding to my initial enquiry and as I have had several disputes with them over the years regarding overdraft facility charges I decided that maybe they weren't the best solution to my getting a personal loan.TescoBank were much more responsive to my application and before I knew it we had more or less got the loan for the amount I needed and it was just a case of dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's.It wasn't until I started telling my friends about the loan and asking them to guess which bank I got it from that I realised TescoBank is not such an unusual choice for a loan as lots of my friends had suggested them and some had even taken out loans with them before me.

We have just been approved a loan by TescoBank for the money to build an extension on our family home. We were originally thinking of moving to get more space but because we really love our garden and have great neighbours we felt it was too much to give up and that we should just make more room with an extension. We don't have any mortgage on our house and we didn't want to remortgage it and so the personal loan was a better option for us. Tescos interest rates weren't the lowest but the overall package for the amount we wanted to borrow was ideal for us.So now we have started our extension and it should be finished in time for Christmas when the place won't seem quite so crowded when all the relatives visit.

I took out my personal loan with Tesco Bank after both my children were thinking of moving out of the family home and needed some financial help with deposits for their flats. I had always said that I would help them with that when the time came but I wasn't expecting it quite so soon or for both of them to be moving out within weeks of each other. But that's typical of my two, they always were full of surprises.I looked at getting a loan from the usual High St. banks but ended up with Tesco Bank because not only were they charging less interest than some of these banks I also liked the whole set up for making the repayments. In short, the Tesco Bank loan package was much more agreeable to me.

When I had finished paying off my personal loan with Tesco Bank last year I realised that I had hardly given the loan a second thought after it was approved and the first repayments were made each month. The loan that Tesco Bank had sorted out for me was so straightforward and tailored to my financial capabilities that it didn't put any strain on my everyday living. But the amount they let me borrow was an enormous help in sorting out a few problems I had with my personal life and so for that reason I am going to apply for a similar loan with Tesco Bank so that I can propose to my girlfriend with a suitably impressive diamond ring to put on her finger if she says yes.

I had experienced some problems with regular car finance companies in the past and so when I wanted to buy my first brand new car after getting promotion at work I decided to just get a personal loan instead.I looked at several loan options with the usual High St banks and with some of the big store banks and eventually ended up with Tesco Bank. When my mum and dad said they had just got a personal loan with Tescos I thought for a minute that they had lost the plot a bit. However after making the usual jokes about senility I was interested to hear more about it and I must admit I was very impressed with the loan Tesco Bank had set up for them and made a mental note to consider them if I needed a personal loan myself. And that is why I am posting this review as I have just got my very own personal loan with Tesco Bank and I am delighted that it has helped me move into my new flat and get some basic stuff such as a new bed and a nice comfy sofa to slob out on when I get home from work at night.

I applied for a personal loan with Tesco Bank on the recommendation of a work mate. I had just been divorced and was moving into my own place after ten years. I didn't want anything from the marital home and so I was literally starting from scratch again and although friends and family were very supportive and offered me lots of second hand stuff I really just wanted to have everything new.I didn't expect to be able to get everything at once but my loan from Tesco has allowed me to buy all the basics and make the place look a bit more like a home than just an empty shell. No doubt when Christmas and birthdays come around I'll be getting the sort of practical things that men forget to buy like pots and pans but I fine with that as my mum and sisters won't want me surviving on just takeaways.

Ironically both my wife and me work for a big High Street supermarket but not one that offers a banking and loan facility like Tesco so I didn't feel disloyal when I got a personal loan from them to pay for some home improvements and a last minute holiday to Spain.Of course I had heard about Tesco loans but until I applied for one myself I didn't realise just how competitive they are and how they can offer just as good if not better interest rates with their loans as some of the Hight Street banks. I've been saying lots of positive things about Tescos to my work mates but not too loudly as I dont want to upset the bosses.

I had been living on my own for several years after graduating from university and although my flat was nothing special it suited me and my bachelor lifestyle. The most important things being the microwave oven and the flat screen TV.All that changed when I met my girlfriend and I realised that there was more to life than microwaved ready meals and playstation games. So when we made to decision to live together my flat was the better option but we just needed to make it a bit more couple friendly. My girlfriend worked out how much we would need to borrow to make the place more comfortable and more importantly somewhere she would not be embarrassed to invite her family and friends to and before I knew it I was taking out a loan with Tesco Bank.I hadn't realised that Tesco had become such a keen competitor in the banking and loans market and was more than impressed with the loan they approved for me. Since meeting my girlfriend I have learned quite a bit and not just about having a comfortable bed in the spare room for when guests come to visit.

I have become a bit disillusioned with banks in general and so when I needed to get a personal loan recently I went online and checked out all the other alternatives to the usual High Street banks.I was pleasantly surprised when Tesco Bank appeared to be my best option and not just because their interest rates were very competitive. They seem to have made a real effort to offer people the complete package rather than just entice them in with an attractive interest rate and then let them down with the rest of the terms and conditions. Sometimes it is not just about the cheapest deal and that is why I applied for a loan with Tesco Bank..

When you have three daughters who are all engaged to be married you start to have sleepless nights worrying about how you are going to afford to pay for everything once never mind three times and all within a period of 6 months. My girls are all hard working, independent young women and weren't expecting my wife and I to pay for everything but we still wanted to make a contribution and so with the help of one of our girls who is good with money we looked at different loan companies and applied for a loan with Tesco. They sorted out a loan for us that was enough to give all three of our girls a nice contribution to their weddings and we are more than able to make the repayments each month. Once we have paid off the loan we can relax for a bit before the grandchildren start arriving and then our next worry is affording all the presents at Christmas.

Hi my name's Martin and I've always been under the impression that Tesco was the country's largest supermarket and boy was I wrong. We've been shopping there for years and I had been talking to my wife about the alterations we needed done at the front of our house which included raising the wall and improvement on the garage. We need to be really secure as we have two pitbulls who are part of the family and will never hurt a soul, but we all know what people think. My wife then told me that we could apply for a loan from Tesco Bank. It took me a bit by surprise but that is exactly what we did. We were looking at an amount of £5000, so our next step was to apply online to find out if we were eligible and we were. The interest rates were really good and we chose to repay over 36 months. We are so glad we dealt with Tesco Bank. They are really out there to help. The alterations are under way and that will also add value to our property. Thank you TESCO.

Oddly enough when one applies for a loan you tend to visit your own bank not realising there are other institutions that can offer you a far better deal, as was the case when I needed a sizeable personal loan and followed a friend's advice and approached Tesco Bank. I'd not seen my brother in many years and his pride and joy, his first born daughter was about to marry. This was something my wife and I and my son really did not want to miss. We did some homework and worked out that the trip which we planned would cost in the region of £4000 . This amount was just the flights to South Africa. I knew that we'd not have to pay for accomodation so a little bit of spending money and we were set. I applied online with Tesco Bank and before long our flights were booked and we were soon to be off for this trmendous family reunion. The amount I asked for was £7000 and because the exchange rate really favours the pound we were thrilled. The beauty was that we chose to repay over 60 months at a set rate which was easily manageable. Well done TESCO BANK.

My car had spent so much time in the workshop that I'd almost forgotten that I had one. Needless to say the repair costs were rising and all my friends and family were suggesting the time had come to put the old girl to sleep. I saw another vehicle at the local dealer and fell in love. Low mileage, 12 month guarantee and everything else you could think of. The dealer tried to offer me their inhouse finance but my brother told me about Tesco Bank. What a luck. I'd never thought about them so I followed the procedure online and requested a personal loan of £12000 which more than covered the cost of the car. I chose to repay over 72 months. Obviously there were certain conditions and I had to prove that I was creditworthy and also that my income could easily cover the repayments. Thank God everything panned out and the loan was approved. Even the interest rates were highly competitive and this from TESCO BANK. Incredible. Highly recommendable.

Looking around for a personal loan can be a bit of a nightmare. Some of them look too good to be true but at the end of the day you are paying ridiculous interest and end up being the big loser one way or the other. This was how I felt until I was told about Tesco Bank. I had no idea they did personal loans so was really surprised whwn I applied online and asked them for a loan of £5000 that I needed for some personal and private cosmetic dental work.I obviously had to prove that I was safe and solid and that the monthly repayments could comfortably be coped with. In my case 60 months. The rate was totally acceptable and my loan was approved without much fuss. TESCO BANK. Certainly to be recommended.

I have a bit of a hang up about most of the big High Street banks and I have had my run ins with a couple of them over the years. So when I needed to get a personal loan I deliberately avoided the banks and looked at some of the other options. After a bit of online searching and comparing I decided that the Tesco Bank option sounded the best one for me and so without hanging about I got straight on to the task of making my application. I was very happy when they approved my loan almost immediately and because I was in a hurry to get the loan finalised I paid an additional fee to have the loan agreement documents delivered by courier.Within less than a week I had my loan and the money at my disposal and so I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Tesco Bank for a fast, professional service.

A couple of years ago I took out a personal loan with another well known high street store and was very satisfied with the overall experience. So when I needed to get another personal loan recently I didn't bother with the banks but instead I concentrated on comparing some of the other high street store loans available.I finally decided on a personal loan from Tesco Bank because they were offering a similar package to the one I had previously but the interest rate was slightly lower. My advice to anyone looking for a personal loan is to give the high street store loans a go as my experience of them is that they are as good if not better than the banks.

After talking about it on and off for several weeks my husband finally agreed to us getting a personal loan to pay for a new kitchen. I was fed up with our old one and was threatening to go on a cooking strike if we didn't do something to bring it into the 21st century. One of the conditions of him agreeing to the loan was that I would have to do all the researching online to find the right deal for us and as I am much better on the computer than my husband I thought that was probably a good idea anyway. His face was a picture when I told him that I had found the right loan for us and that it was with Tesco. But once I had sat him down and gone through all the figures with him he had to agree with me.Within a week of making the application we have our loan and my new kitchen will be ready in time for Christmas and its all thanks to Tesco Bank.

I think the High Street banks had better watch out from now on if my experience of getting a personal loan with Tesco Bank is anything to go by.The loan deal I have secured with them and the overall service I have received from them during the application process has been extremely professional and helpful. Unlike my impression of most regular High Street banks.Tesco Bank actually seem to want to lend you the money and will do their best to provide you with a loan that suits your particular needs rather than making you comply to any rigid terms and conditions like a lot of banks do. They also talk to you in easy to understand terms and not confuse you with a lot of legal jargon. That gets my vote every time.

When I asked a friend at work for some advice about getting a personal loan she immediately suggested Tesco Bank and I thought she was joking. But it turns out she had just taken out a personal loan with them to help pay for her daughters wedding and she said that as she had done all the comparisons with other loan companies before deciding on Tesco Bank, I should take her advice and save myself the time and effort. So I did take her advice but only after checking out Tesco Bank personal loans myself before coming to the same conclusion as her and I am happy to say that Tesco Bank have at least two very satisfied customers.

Our eldest son is getting married and even though it is traditionally the bride's family that pay for the wedding we insisted on paying 50% of the cost especially as we are a large family and the majority of the guests will be from our side as our future daughter in law is an only child. We did have a bit of savings but we decided that we wanted to get a personal loan instead and we went with a Tesco Bank loan as we had used them for our daughter's wedding costs a couple of years ago. Unfortunately we were footing the whole bill that time but we didn't really mind.Tesco Bank have made both of our loan applications hassle free and straightforward and that is very important when you have all the stress that goes with planning a wedding even if you are not the mother of the bride.

I bought my flat a year ago with the help of some money that my gran left me in her will and I love everything about it except the awful 60's style bathroom. My mum had just had a loan with Tesco Bank to have a conservatory built and she suggested I give them a try for a personal loan as my bank weren't being particularly forthcoming with an offer. So I am just posting this review to say thanks to Tesco Bank for approving a brilliant personal loan for me so quickly and I can't wait to get started on designing my new bathroom.

As a frequent gamer I'm used to hardware that speeds, networks with a low latency and lots of RAM on board. No laptop but a self-built pc, preferably water cooled. Purchasing the goodies cost me a fortune, going for the best there is at that moment. To finance this I use a personal loan and I know this sounds weird and not very logic as most people ask me: 'what about the interest rate?' To be honest that don't even cross my mind, because after 1 year I sell the pc again for a good price which allows me to repay the remaining months in one time, minus 30 days with a little interest which is minor. My bank? Tesco. I can't think of an easier way to be in control of my expenses and everything including my regular shopping. As long as nothing changes or no WWIII breaks out I'm with Tesco. I use the Tesco club card, a credit card, a loan, and I'm satisfied. Everything under one roof is more efficient and cheaper on the long run. There's nothing for me in it, I only like to help you. Go look for yourself if you don't believe me: http://www.tesco.com/ Cheers!

As always in a rush as of my work I do not have the time to visit banks just for listening to someone about something I can find on the internet as well. That's what the internet is for!So I find it extremely convenient to do all my business at one address. Tesco Bank meets my needs when it comes to efficiency, easiness and comfort. When I pay a visit to my supermarket where I can do all my business at the same time at Tesco I wouldn't hesitate to take out a loan, a mortgage or whatsoever. Paying too much for being a customer with a 'established' bank is like throwing money into the water. The loan I took out with them one year ago was payed off in the same year. No obstruction, no hard dealing with bank employees who liked me to take out more of their services. Not a bad experience and exactly what I expected! If I had to do it again I wouldn't doubt for a sec.

A short time ago I was faced with multiple bills to pay and was left in debt. I ended up having to pay a huge amount of money and, at the time, I couldn't afford it. So, I turned to looking for a loan company that could help me in my situation. I found quite a few, including Tesco Bank. I knew that Tesco is a very well-known company, so for me it seemed to be the best option. I got in touch with them over the phone, where everything was explained to me, the customer service was great. They informed me that I would have to go online and fill out an application form and wait for approval. I filled out the form, didn't take too long, and then waited for a response. The response came through not long after, letting me know that I would receive the money shortly. So, overall I think I made the right decision in choosing Tesco Bank, and would recommend it to anyone in debt and needing a loan. Thank you.

I turned to Tesco Bank for a loan, because I heard a story from a friend of mine that had used their loan service and was very pleased with it. I was in need of quite a large amount of money, and companies like Tesco offer that kind of service. I went on the internet and filled out their online application, took me just a few minutes to do so. When I received the money it was as if a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders, and I could pay off what I needed to pay. I'm in the process of paying my loan back, and it's almost complete. It's worth it, because at the time that I was in debt, I had no one else to turn to for the loan I needed. I highly recommend their loan service, and if I ever need to, I would happily use them again. Hope this helps anyone looking into finding the right company. Thanks

When I received a huge couple of bills to pay I was in shock. They were so unexpected, but I knew that I had to pay them. Alongside these bills I also had to pay for repair on my car, so it was looking bad for me. I found out about the Tesco Bank personal loans, so I got in contact. The over the phone conversation was great, I told the nice lady about my credit situation and she told me to go apply for a loan and that I was the right kind of candidate. It was so reassuring. So I got on my computer and on their website to apply. When I received the money I was so happy, as if I could breath again. I was able to pay everything that needed paying and my car was repaired. This company really helped me through a bad situation, I hope it will do the same for anyone in the same situation.

But one day I was hit in the face with massive bills to pay and all I could think was about the horrible sticky situation I had got myself into. But as everyone knows, it can happen to anyone. So I started looking for help and asking around. A good friend of mine told me about Tesco Bank loans. She had never used it but knew someone that had done. So I looked into it too, mainly because tesco is a huge name in the uk so it must be trustworthy. I applied for it and everything and got in touch with them and everything went really well. Everything was done online, so no worrying about paperwork and our hands didn't get tired from all the signing.Just clicked the mouse a few times and that was it. Our copies were all in an email. We dealt with a Personal Loan Specialist who was so professional, answered all of our questions, and got us the rate and loan payment that we so desperately needed. Before this, we had considered selling our personal belongings to be able to get some cash back, but after speaking to Tesco Bank personal loans we no longer saw the need for such thing. We would definitely use this company again! We are very happy with this whole process and experience. Thank you to everyone involved in our loan process.

I was looking into getting a loan because there were a few things that needed to be done around my house. So I started looking into loan companies and what they had to offer. One of the first companies I tried was Tesco Bank. I contacted them over the phone and the girl on the other side was very sweet and explained all that I needed to know about their loan services.I decided to go for it and filled out the application. Very courteous and efficiently fast customer service! Very informative on every aspect of the loan process. This is my first time using Tesco Bank, and will continue to refer family, friends, and colleagues. Thank you for the great service!!!

I don't want to get into detail on why I needed a loan. The important thing here is that I needed one. ASAP. I would like to give a huge thank you to Tesco Bank for resolving this matter and assisting me with a loan. I very much appreciate the way this situation was handled by every one I spoke to over the phone, and the whole team just for being so comprehensive and helpful. I would like to mention that your level of customer service turned out to be absolutely fantastic. I will recommend Tesco Bank to all my friends and family members and will continue to use them should I need any loans in the future. So, if any one out there is reading this and is in need of a loan, Tesco bank is the one to chose. So easy, and great people wanting to help. I feel very grateful.

I've been doing business with Tesco Bank for a couple of years now. They were the only ones that were there for me when I needed the most. I needed a car to go to work and they were the only ones that gave me a hand out of all the other institutions. They were the only ones that believed in me.Thanks to them I was able to get a car and continue working. I always appreciate that from them. Now every time I need a loan they are the first ones in my mind. I know I can count on them and they always treat me good and never hesitate to help me.I've even recommended them to a few people who have used them and are very happy with the outcome. They are very professional and I will recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you Tesco Bank.

The people at Tesco Bank are lovely. They were very positive and helpful from the very moment I contacted them. They explained to me every step of the process and were never ever pushy. Every single one of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I went along and applied for a loan. It just seemed like the best decision I could make at this time in my life to sort out some financial problems I was having. Tesco offered me the best rate with the best terms for our loan. So, of course I was over the moon about the whole thing. I never thought that a loan process could be so simple and hassle-free. And paired with excellent customer service that makes this whole experience exceed my expectations! 5***** service, so pleased about making the right decision in choosing this company.

Needing a car desperately and having seen all the financial srevices that Tesco Bank have to offer, I was compelled to approach them for a loan. Everything was done online and the amount I was after was £12000. Obviously the necessary credit checks were carried out and a bit of red tape followed but nothing like normal. The loan was approved and when I compared it to the credit structure that the dealership offered it was laughable. Thank you Tesco Bank. My car is great and the loan repayments are manageable. What is also wonderful is that for the entire duration of the loan which is 72 months the instalment will not change. EXCELLENT.

With Christmas on the way and the twins' 18th birthday in late November my wife agreed that a bit of extra cash would see us through this costly period. Shopping regularly at Tesco gave us numerous opportunities to check out their loan options so we approched them and asked for a personal loan of £3000 . We had no idea it would be so quick and so easy. Obviously our credit rating had to be verified. As soon as the loan agreement documents were signed the money was deposited into our account and we are now really looking forward to Christmas. Also their interest rates are so fair and we are repaying the loan with 24 equal monthly repayments. TESCO are to be recommended.

Everybody knows that Tesco is the UK's largest supermarket. Not everybody knows that they also offer quite incredible financial packages designed to really help their clients, as was my case not so long ago. We needed £6000 for a personal family matter and we applied online and were given an immediate decision. Of course you have to be eligible for a loan so if your credit score is high, that's it. Once the loan agreement was signed the funds were transferred to my account and repayable at a fixed rate for the duration of the loan which was 60 months. This took so much pressure off us and at a really fair rate too. TESCO BANK to be recommended.

My son graduated from university just recently and did very well indeed. Unfortunately he has the student loan hanging over him and my wife and I really wanted to get him something he really needed which was a car. He was thrilled with the idea and we told him to find one in the region of £8000, which he did.As we've already used Tesco Bank in the past and were very happy with them we approached them once again online as we did before. After credit checks were carried out the loan was approved and we chose to pay off the debt over 60 months which was quite comfortable for us. As soon as the loan agreement was signed the money was available and our son now has nis car too. TESCO BANK are really great.

To be honest I have taken out the odd loan in the past. I find them useful and convenient from time to time. I do have a steady job and so does my wife. We own our home and yet find it necessary to spoil ourselves from time to time as we did recently and took out a personal loan with Tesco Bank for a well deserved Caribbean cruise. We applied online and our loan of £6000 was approved very quickly. Within days the loan agreement was signed and returned and the money transferred to our account. They were really professional and even gave us the best advice regarding the repayment structure which was really manageable. Thank you Tesco Bank. We'll certainly use you again.

Since September of last year i have had a loan for my VW Golf Estate through Tesco Bank. I have never had any problem and the payments are paid by direct debit, it comes out automaticly monthly and i never need to worry about this. At the time i originaly called tesco for the loan i was offered a deal to take out insurance, i could not at the time. This was due to my husband and 23 year-old son haven been named drivers on my existing policy it tied me into another 12 months with out my knowledge. Now that my policy is up i have been looking at tesco again for insurance and have a quote today.Since our son is considered a young driver, we paid around £640 for fully comprehensive cover a year, and with tesco for myself and family i have been offered full cover for £520 very very impressed. Need to check a few things out but it looks like you may have another service with tesco very soon.

I got turned away for a car loan from the Natwest even though i believe to have a great credit rating. I then applied through Tesco Bank online and was excited to see i had got accepted with them. I received the money in my account 5 days later (after signing and sending paperwork, providing bank statements) What made the whole service better for me was that the interest and total loan amount that i will be repaying with Tesco is way cheaper than what Natwest bank could have ever offer me.I would reccommend tesco bank to other based on my own good experience. Thank you from a happy Tesco customer

We've used Tesco Bank before and they've always been super helpful. The last time we applied for a loan of £5000 to go on holiday with the kids and the approval was immediate as soon as they'd carried out their credit checks. These checks are really just to make sure that you are gainfully employed so that no problems arise with the monthly instalments. All we then had to do was sign the loan agreement and the money was transferred to our bank account. We agreed to repay over 36 months which was very comfortable and we'd recommend Tesco Bank to anybody.

We don't only shop at Tesco but have also used their loan services on more than one occasion. The last time we applied online for a loan of £5000 to do some repairs on our car and with the balance of the money we popped off to the Algarve for a week. It's really so simple. All done online and approval is immediate as long as you are creditworthy and gainfully employed. We signed the loan agreement and chose to pay the debt in 24 equal instalments using a direct debit. The money was made available the same day. Tesco Bank is really helpful and highly recommendable.

We shop regularly at Tesco and found out only recently that they are also leaders in banking services. A personal loan was what we were interested in and knew that there could be a lot of red tape involved and also excessive charges and hidden ones too. This had always prevented us from going ahead in the past. But this time we decided to bite the bullet and applied for a personal loan of £6000 as we needed to do some patch up work on our house. what made it easier and helpful was the fact that we could apply online and after the usual credit checks the loan was approved. We signed the loan agreement choosing to pay the debt over 4 years in equal monthly instalments using a standing debit order. The funds were deposited into our account the same day. We were really impressed and would readily recommend TESCO BANK.

My wife and I decided to take a deserved holiday this year and go abroad to either Spain, Portugal or Croatia. My wife did the looking and booking after I applied for a loan online from TESCO BANK. We thought that £5000 would more than cover flights, hotels and all the other good things one has on holiday.Once their checks were carried out and our affordability confirmed the loan was approved and all that remained was for me to sign the loan agreement. That was done and the money was transferred to our account. We opted to repay over 36 months which suited us perfectly. We thought if the opportunity arose we might even pay it off sooner and save a bit.My thanks to TESCO BANK for their helpfulness. We had a superb holiday.

I needed to buy a second hand car urgently. Mine was really taking strain and the regular repair costs were mounting and quickly. I looked for a good 2-3 year old car with low mileage and found it after a day or two searching online. I even went to see the car at the dealership and it was just perfect. I then approached Tesco Bank online and asked for a personal loan of £8000 and the loan was approved almost immediately after their checks were done. The next day the loan agreement was signed and the money was put into my account with me having to pay equal monthly instalments over 60 months. These instalments were less than the monthly repair bills I was getting on my last car. Thank you so much TESCO BANK.

I needed some cosmetic dental surgery done and to my dismay this type of surgery was not covered by the medical insurance I'd been paying all these years. I was left with no option but to request a personal loan . Searching online and trying to find the loan institution that suited me most, I applied online with TESCO BANK and they were wonderful. After their credit checks the loan was approved and I signed the loan agreement opting to repay the £5000 over a 3 year period which was affordable. The great thing was that I needed the money quite urgently as my appointment with the dental surgeon had been booked already and I would have had to wait ages for the next appointment. Thank you TESCO BANK for your efficiency. I highly recommend you.

Often I skip doing reviews for mediocre experiences but this one turned out really positive. I have been a loyal Tesco Supermarket shopper since my children were born and a Clubcard member for several years. I found out about their personal loans upon being approached shopping one day and though initially resistant (I normally avoid any kind of credit card offers etc. through supermarkets) I began considering.I had been putting off renovations on our summer home and by winter it would not be great without the proper heating and insulation in place, as well as some other structural issues. I think what probably made my decision was the lower APR for loans in the bracket I was quoted (£7500 - £15000). 6 or 7 percent seemed a bit much for me. I gave my payment plan a bit more time than I initially had planned, and over four and a half years, it seemed very manageable. And after 3 months that proved to be true.Didn't have any problems with the application, approval and any interaction with customer service representatives, they were friendly and helpful and I did not have long waits. I don't know why I hadn't thought of this option sooner, but glad I finally did, and would do it again with Tesco.

I was looking for a personal loan to get my life into order. What I mean is that I'm paying ridiculous interest rates on silly debts that I've accumulated over the last few years and doing the maths, if I were to settle all these debts and then just pay one monthly instalment it would turn my life around. I needed a substantial loan so I applied online to TESCO BANK and just hoped that the loan would be approved. I asked for £20000. I knew that I had a good credit score and I was gainfully employed earning a fair salary. I couldn't believe it when almost instantly the loan was approved. I then signed the loan agreement and opted for the 5 year repayment structure purely because the instalment was a lot less than all the instalments I had been paying all this time. The really good thing is that it was a fixed rate loan which meant the instalments would not change for the entire repayment period.I am really happy and I thank TESCO BANK for their help. It's certainly turned my life around.

My personal loan from Tesco Bank wasn't for anything as exciting as a holiday or a new kitchen but it was for a very necessary reason and that was to pay for a much needed operation on my knee.I was in too much pain to wait for the NHS to get around to doing the keyhole surgery needed and because of my past brush with cancer it meant the cost of private medical insurance would be far too expensive for some one like me to afford and even if I did take out private medical cover now I would still have to wait several months before I would be eligible for the treatment. My next door neighbour told me that he had been in a similar situation recently and he managed to get his operation done privately with the help of a personal loan from Tesco Bank and that I should find out how much my operation would cost before applying for a similar loan. So with my grandsons help that is exactly what I have just done and I am relieved and delighted to say I have been approved the loan and my operation is scheduled for next week at a lovely private clinic not far from me. So I have asked my grandson to type this for me so that I can say a big thank you to Tesco Bank.

After months of nagging my husband about sorting out our very dated and uninspiring kitchen, I took matters into my own hands and applied for a personal loan with Tesco Bank.We had used Tesco Bank 3 years ago to buy a new car and that went very smoothly and we have paid it off now so I wasn't worried about affording this new loan but to make things a bit easier I opted for a two month repayment holiday which means we won't have to start making the repayments until after Christmas.I have chosen my new kitchen and because the work doesn't involve knocking down any walls and other messy stuff we should have my new and very inspiring kitchen in time for Christmas. Now I just need to dig out my Jamie Oliver cookbooks.

I applied online and asked for £6000 which would certainly help make this yuletide really special. The loan was approved straight away. I know that my credit rating was very high and the fact that I am steadily employed must have helped too.The loan agreement was signed the next day and the money was transferred into my account. My daughter had just split up from her long term boyfriend and I was extremely relieved because he was not a very nice person and didn't treat her very well.I wanted to help her get back on her feet with a place of her own and that is why I took out a personal loan with Tesco Bank to get the deposit for a flat and a little car of her own so that she could get to work easily and come and visit me whenever she wanted. Up until now she had relied on the boyfriend to take her everywhere which meant I didn't get to see her very often.I am not very confident when it comes to dealing with banks and such but for some reason I felt a lot more relaxed about dealing with Tesco for the loan and even though I don't know much about interest rates and APRs all my friends have told me that I have got a very competitive deal with Tesco Bank and as I am not worried about affording the repayments I am very happy with this loan.I am helping my daughter move in to her new flat this week and I just wanted to thank Tesco Bank for helping me to help my daughter.

When my own bank refused me a personal loan recently I went back to the drawing board, as they say, and looked at a loan comparison website to see if there was an alternative out there for me.I am pleased to say there were a couple of lenders that were prepared to offer me a loan but by far the most appealing was the quote from Tesco Bank. Not only were they offering a very competitive APR but the loan period and the repayments were both right for me and my budget allowance. My loan has been confirmed and the money is being transferred to my bank account within the next 24 hours and maybe when I get a bit of spare time I will look into what else Tesco Bank can do for me that my own bank can't.

When I told my dad I was looking for a personal loan and what advice could he give me, he said choose your loan the way you would choose a new pair of shoes.I know how my dad's philosophy works and what he was saying was just because the shoe box has your shoe size on it you wouldn't buy the shoes without trying them on first. Like a pair of shoes it is not just the size to consider, and with a loan it's not just the APR, but also the repayments and the period over which you are borrowing the money. If they don't fit your particular circumstances then the loan will be as uncomfortable an experience for you as wearing ill fitting shoes. So when I got an online quote from Tesco Bank and liked not only the APR but the other important factors of the loan I didn't hesitate to accept the agreement. Within a week I had the money in my bank account and that felt very good.I have never bought a pair of shoes from Tesco but I now know from experience that their personal loans can be very comfortable indeed and I would recommend them to my friends and family.

If only I had gone to Tesco Bank first I could have saved myself a lot of time and frustration. I had initially approached my own bank for a personal loan to pay for a new bathroom in my house and my bank didn't exactly refuse me a loan but they spent so much time putting all sorts of obstacles in my way that I just gave up and basically told them what they could do with their loan. It's not as if they were offering a particularly great APR and so I didn't feel like wasting any more time with them. When I was venting my frustration at work one of my colleagues suggested I tried Tesco Bank as they had recently had a good experience with them when they applied for a loan. So that's what I did and before I had left work that evening I had applied for a loan and had it approved subject to a credit history check.By the end of the week I had my loan from Tesco Bank and went shopping for a new bathroom suite that weekend. What a great service from Tesco Bank and not an obstacle in sight.

I received the loan agreement Thursday morning which I signed and returned straight away (I wasn't asked to send any further documentation in). Following a rejection from my own bank I was slightly concerned. As a household we earned more than 3 times the requested loan amount. We have open, long standing and well maintained credit cards with nominal balances. Pondering the refusal from my bank I therefore applied for a copy of my credit file from Credit Expert to find my score was 992 and Excellent. I Googled loans and Tesco came top of best buy tables. I therefore applied online and was given an immediate acceotance. I requested the courier service so a Tesco Rep called me and arranged for tomoroow. What a fantastic rate and service. When after university I had £10k in credit cards debt charging me 34.9% APR I applied for a loan to refinance those and my own bank rejected my application even after I was managing my finances quite well for 6 months and got a rather well paid job. I had no hope as I was continuously paying off something that won't get paid off. I constantly felt under pressure. I started looking for alternative ways to borrow and Tesco Bank came very well reviewed. The process was very easy and representative called me a day later. Said they can offer me 12.4% APR, no more paper work, just sign the agreement and send it back to them and money was in my account the next day. I didn't expect to get the advertised rate of 4% or something but considering my situation I was well over the moon. At least I can put myself back on track and pay off fixed monthly amounts. I opted for the courier service and Tesco rang on 16/9/2015 and arranged for the courier to bring the documentation for me to sign on 17/9/2015. The courier arrived as promised and took the signed documentation with them. To my surprise I checked my account on 18/9/2015 and the money was already in my account. I cannot fault how they dealt with my loan application and their super efficient service. Would definitely recommend people to apply for a loan with Tesco. After seeing the interest rates had lowered I looked at transferring my current 12% apr loan to cut costs and came across this one for tesco for 4.1% apr. With nothing to lose and a potential saving of over £3,000 I decided to apply for a £14,500 loan to repay my old one. The application process was very quick and easy and took around 5 minutes to complete. I was a bit disappointed when after the home page promised an instant decision that I was informed that my loan had been passed to the underwriters. This usually means that I either won't be accepted or that the apr will be much higher than advertised. 2 days later I recieved a phone call from Tesco advising that my loan had been approved at the advertised apr of 4.1%, the paperwork arrived 3 days later and asked for nothing more than a signature. I posted it back to them on the Saturday and by 10am on Monday the money had been transferred to my bank. Really impressed by the quick and easy process and I'm now paying £63 less per month than what I was over exactly the same time as my old loan.

After applying for a loan at lots of different high street banks, I was rejected by all but two - my own bank who offerred me a rediculous APR of 26.6%, and then Tesco, who offered me a fair APR of 9.5%.After applying online, Tesco approved my loan in principle. I then had to provide 6 weeks of bank statements. A few days after providing these, an underwriter called me to check what the purpose of my loan was for, and then transferred it - I received it about 30 minutes later.I couln't thank Tesco enough, and given their excellent rates on their loans and credit cards, I am now going to look into moving my current account to them aswell.

I sent my agreement back and it was received today 17.06.15( I called as I felt anxious) they told me the money would be transferred within 48 hours and at 5pm today here it was. 6 days all in all including the weekend. brilliant service with a great rate. I was a little worried after applying and reading all the bad reviews. I thought it was too good to be true. im now paying £11,242 over 5 years so just £1245.00 interest over the term including 2month payment break at the beginning. it just shows everyone's experience is different and sometimes its good to take a chance.

Hi, my name is James and I'm 24 years old and in steady employment. My fiancé is a pub manager but earns cash in hand (still pays tax). Now we tried applying for a loan with our bank before and they declined us for whatever reason, it was to pay off overdrafts, credit cards and personal family loans, leaving some nice money left over for a few bits for the house (rented) and maybe a night out or two. Now as I said before our banked declined us and told us to do so much and come back in a couple of months still declined. One night I randomly tried Tesco's loans and got approved in principle! Which was music to our ears. They asked us for proof of our earnings, payslips letter from employer etc. and sent them away. A few days after we were having a small argument about money and to prove a point I went onto our online banking and there is was £25,000! They gave us a chance when other banks including my own would. What a great bank and if you were like us you have a great chance at a fresh start. The rate isn't the best but at least we got our load, and cause its over 8 years, as soon as our credit rating is great without any other debt then we can get a better loan with a better rate. Honestly I/we are so happy and still cant believe it, everyone and everything is payed off and now we have one target with smaller payments! Brilliant bank, very fair and if you were like us and have tried everything then this is perfect for you. Just be honest about everything and make sure that you can prove it. I would recommended Tesco's to anyone.

I applied on a Monday evening online, fully expecting a rejection as I have little credit history other than my current account. However I was fully 'approved' (not even the dreaded approved in principle!) they would send the documents out by courier for £50 or standard post for no charge- I was still sceptical so opted for postal delivery incase it was £50 and I didn't end up with the loan. The documents arrived on Friday which in a rural area wasn't bad, they asked me to sign and return with proof of Id and address, no statements or wage slips; it sounded too good to be true! I returned everything and it was received on Saturday. I happened to check my bank statement in my lunch hour on Monday and the loan had been credited! So less than 7 days to get a £3000 loan for a new car; thanks tesco! I am thinking of switching to some of their other banking products too now.

applied for a loan of £24,000 to consolidate existing debts at a APR of 6.9%. Much to my surprise I was accepted for this loan almost immediately. Paperwork was posted and received within two days and only required signatures and one months bank statements to accompany this. Posted back and within three days of receiving the paperwork the money had been paid into my account. Speed of service and helpfulness of call center staff was great. Thanks very much Tesco!! I will recommend you to everyone in messy situations or even who just need an extra bit of cash like me! I can't thank you enough!

Just thought id voice my review as there alot of negative reviews. Me and my partner orginally went to our bank for a loan as we have a joint account with them for a while now, and my partner has already had a loan from them, anyway to cut a long story short we wanted a 15k loan for a car and home improvements the women fillied it all in, the system then came back with that we couldnt have a15k loan over 5 years but could have a 14k loan for 15.9 % apr we couldnt believe it we were being ripped off by our own bank even the women dealing with us couldnt believe it she even said dont take it. So we turned it down. So I then came home and had a look at tesco fillied the form and was accepted I also got the courier service just make it a little quicker, advice here if you get this service ring and remind them at the end of the process otherwise theh will try and drag their feet, anyway they rang on the wednesday and said a courier would come at a certain time thursday he then took it back, I rang this morning no paperwork had arrived, so I left it abit longer and rang again, they said they had recieved the paperwork and the as long as the last check was fine it would be in my account by monday at the latest, within half an hour we had a phone call saying it would be in account by the end if thd day or tomorrow morning checked the bank the money was there we can now buy the new car tomorrow very happy would also like to mention our apr never changed throughout the application and it does state that evwryones apr is catered to thier situation. Very happy thank you tesco loans.

After years of suffering bad credit scoreing and being knocked back from loan companies to consolidate my debts I thought I'd have one last ditch attempt, I applied for my tesco loan of £4000 on Saturday night, I had provisionally passed and was happy, Tuesady I received my paperwork to sign and confirm details and posted the same night, Thursday morning the cash was deposited into my account. I am now clear of all old debts and paying back just one, not only was the service 1st class I have a new lease of life after only having to concentrate on the one bill debited each month. Definetely recommend to aall family and friends and everyone viewing this website!

I would just like to say that I have read a lot of these reviews and I felt I really must add my own. I would just like to say that from start to finish I had nothing but excellent customer service and that the whole process was seamless. I was provisionally approved and asked to send in my bank statements. I did this and within 3 working days the money was in my account. The rate I ended up with was the one I was offered on the initial application and I was even sent my supporting documentation back in the post. All in all a fantastically quick and professional service

I applied for a loan from my bank of over 20 years - Halifax. I have a good credit rating/disposable income etc and the rate I was offered by Halifax was a shocking 15.5% APR.My loan was for Home Improvements as I had recently moved at the end of last year. The Loan amount was £14k over 7 years.I decided to try online for other options and came across the great rate offered by Tesco at 5.1% - after another online application and to my delight this time round it went through as a straight accept for the 5.1% rate applied for.Loan papers arrived to sign within a couple of days & money in my account b4 the end of the week!!Great speed of service and very satisfied customer - would 100% recommend.

After clearing a lot of bad debt last year (various high intrest cards and other loans) I decided to try and get a home improvement loan for a much needed new central heating system. My first application was with my own bank of 7 years, Santander. I was surprised that they even said yes to be honest, given that my credit rating was in a bad state last year with the now cleared debts. The rate offered was 12% and considerably higher than advertised (as exteceted). I thought that I'd at least try one more application as a comparison hence my application to Tesco Loans. They replied instantly (online application) with a YES! I was even given the low 5.2% rate. Application = Wednesday, paperwork received - Thursday (sent straight back), funds transfered to my account - Saturday. This was all during the Easter Holiday Weekend too. I would highly recommend Tesco loans given my personal experience with them.

I applied for a loan of £12,000, as the final payment of my car was due. I visited a number of high street banks and although all were willing to offer me the full loan the APR was extremely high, some even quoted me 13.9% - despite the fact i have an excellent credit rating.I went online and noted Tesco were offering 5.2% apr. I applied online, paperwork arrived at my house within 3 working days and once it was signed and returned the money was in my account the following day! cannot fault them at all! I think people should give them a try. They were quick and easy!

Money, money, money. Unfortunately that's what makes the world go round and a little while ago I needed some to fill a gaping hole in my personal economy. Now I've taken out loans before and never really had a problem, only I always grabbed the first one that came along and ended up paying silly interest rates. This time I decided to do a bit of homework and chose to approach TESCO BANK for a personal loan of £5000.I'd always paid my debts in the past and always punctually so my credit score must have been fine and the loan was approved within no time at all. I signed the loan agreement the next day and the funds were transferred to my account that same day. I was taken aback by their efficiency and their rates and the 2 year period I was allowed to pay back suited me perfectly. I will certainly use TESCO BANK again.

I'm only 21 years old and have never asked for a loan in the past. Only this time it was a matter of urgency. I had just been promoted at work and I know this sounds funny, but the promotion meant that I had to do shift work which meant that that I was compelled to leave the office at 4 am and public transport at that time of the morning was not readily available.I needed to buy a second hand car and quickly. I saw the vehicle I wanted and it was a little gem at £8000. A personal loan was next and my mother advised that I use TESCO BANK. She was of the opinion that their rates were the best and that there were other advantages as well i.e fixed rates etc. Also the repayment structure could be negotiated so that I wouldn't be under any pressure. In fact in my case it was 48 months. It was really very simple. All done online. As soon as I was checked out the loan was approved and soon thereafter I had the funds in my account. Needless to say I am now the proud owner of my first vehicle all thanks to TESCO BANK.

My wife tells me I work too hard and my children tell me they hardly see me. So to keep the peace at home I told them all we'd go on holiday together, somewhere memorable. They were thrilled and now I had to keep my word. Summer was due and I had time off due to me so the family decided on the venue and I had to arrange the finances. We had savings that could well have covered the holiday but we opted instead to take out a loan with TESCO BANK.We are regular Tesco shoppers so knew all about their great personal loans at fixed rates. I applied online and the loan of £4000 was granted instantly and the next day I signed the loan agreement electing to pay off over 24 months and the money was made available immediately. We had a great family holiday, spending one week in blissful sunshine all thanks to TESCO BANK.

I little while back I decided the time was right to replace the the thing that had become the biggest irritation in my life, namely my piece of rubbish car. This car spent more time in the workshop than on the road and the costs accompanied it.I found a second hand vehicle that suited me down to the ground and the price was right too. The dealer wanted £8000 and even offered credit but I felt that I could certainly get a better deal elsewhere. My parents advised that I approach TESCO BANK which is what I did and I'm so glad I did. The whole process was so simple. An online application and the usual credit checks, followed by the loan approval and the signing of the loan agreement and the £8000 was transferred to my account. I chose to pay back over 4 years and now have my new car and am so proud, all thanks to TESCO BANK.

I had just over a week to try and secure a personal loan before I lost out on an amazing opportunity to purchase a guitar that had once been owned by a very famous musician who I had been a fan of for as long as I can remember. It was going to be auctioned and that auction was taking place in America but I was hoping to make my bid over the phone. Without the money being in my bank before the start of the auction I wasn't going to even consider making a bid.So when I had a look at the loan comparison website and looked at the Tesco Bank profile I thought I'd chance my luck. I thought I stood a good chance once I got the immediate online decision of yes but I still had to speed things up with regards to getting the paperwork signed sealed and delivered as the song goes. So I opted for the courier service to ensure I got the documents the next day.I'm posting this review to say that I got the loan in time for the auction BUT I didn't purchase the guitar because it seemed everyone underestimated it's worth and it ended up selling for much much more than I could afford even with my loan from Tesco Bank. But at least I tried and now I just have to decide what else to do with my spare cash.

No one believed me when I told them I had just been approved a personal loan from Tesco Bank especially when I told them I had made the application online all by myself. You see I have a bit of a reputation for being very irresponsible with my money and I only ever used the internet to watch TV programs I had missed and films. But this loan was important because it meant I could get to Canada to see my brother get married. One of the reasons I chose Tesco Bank is that I felt comfortable using a company that I had grown up with and didn't feel in the least bit intimidated by their loan application process.Once I had completed application and got an immediate decision, the rest was just as straightforward. Within a week of signing and returning the documents I had the money in my account and went straight back on the internet, not to watch TV but to book my flight to Canada.

I have just booked next year's summer holiday to Antigua and it's all thanks to a personal loan from Tesco Bank.I had got fed up every year trying to book some last minute holiday for me and my husband and ending up paying over the odds for a mediocre holiday just because we had left things too late. I was determined not to let that happen in 2016.Getting the loan from Tesco Bank couldn't have been easier as I was able to do the online application during my lunch break at work and before I was clearing my desk to go home that night I had accepted the online quote and arranged for the documents to be couriered to my office the next day. That was 4 days ago and Tesco Bank have just confirmed the loan and transferred the money into my bank account. So before clearing my desk today I booked the holiday and I am counting the days to it already.

Hi, My name is Tracey and I have never been in debt or in need of a loan. My boyfriend got himself in a sticky situation. He was a producer so you can imagine that money was not a problem for us. After a few years, everything started going wrong. We went from a 100 to a 0 in less than a month, and that affected me alot psicologicly. He got really sick and I couldn't run the studio, so he past it on to his brother. His treatments were expensive, and I couldn't pay for them all, even with family help it wasn't enough, and each day I saw my supposed "man to be" get sicker and weaker. I was a nervous wreck. One day when I was doing my daily shop I informed myself about Tesco's bank loans and I was impressed how much they supported me and fully understood my situation. Thanks to Tesco loans my man got tall the treatment he needed, and left me to look after him in peace. I highly recommend to people in my situation or worse!

The old saying '' there's many a slip twixt cup and lip'' is so true. I had planned a holiday with my fiancee and everything was planned and about to be set in motion when my car decided that it had had enough. It couldn't even be repaired as the motor had burnt out completely and the cost could just not justify repairs. So I desperately needed to replace the car with a good second hand model and that meant asking for a personal loan. I had heard about TESCO BANK and about how good their rates were so I filled in the application online and asked for £8000 and a 4 year repayment plan. I was amazed at how quick everything was done. The loan was approved and the money was made available as soon as I signed the loan agreement. Obviously I met their criteria and qualified for the loan. I now have another car that I really needed and our holiday still went ahead as planned. All thanks to TESCO BANK.

I am a Tesco shopper and knew that they offered some financial services other than credit cards and mortgages. I was interested to know whether they would offer me a loan to help with the expenses of my daughter's upcoming wedding.I had looked at their interest rates for the amount I thought I might borrow and considered them fair. I did not want to borrow the amount for too long so the repayment was a little higher but affordable. I decided to proceed and went on line to complete the application. I was happy to receive their approval and immediate decision. I decided to pay for the courier to deliver the documents quickly so we could obtain the funds as soon as possible. It was great working with Tesco I can highly recommend their services.

I have a mortgage with Tesco's and have always been happy with their services. I thought I would try applying for a personal loan as I needed to fund a special home project. I had previously talked with their representative at the local store and felt confident that my application would be successful.I went on line and looked at their application. I was pleased with the interest rate and repayment plan for the amount I wished to borrow, I also decided to delay the repayment for the two-month idea at the beginning of the loan, to get my feet back on the ground. I received an immediate reply after pushing the go button and am happy to report that Tesco Bank came through again for me.

My husband had to retire early due to ill health and can no longer drive. I'm not keen on driving but I do it because it means we can get out and about more. Our car is our lifeline and we can't be without it.When it came to the time to think about getting a newer model, it was nearly 20 years old after all, I decided to take charge and sort out the loan myself because it would be based on my salary and because I knew Tescos did loans and a couple of our friends had had loans from them I went to them first.Maybe I should have tried other lenders as well but I just was so happy with the way Tesco dealt with my application and the fact that I was able to borrow far more than I thought but still find it affordable, I didn't really need to look elsewhere. Now that the loan is sorted I am handing over the responsibility of choosing our new car to my husband who is much better qualified in that area but I might suggest we get one with an automatic transmission because I really don't like having to keep changing gears..

Tesco Bank have just approved my personal loan and for a small additional fee I am having the paperwork delivered by courier tomorrow. As far as I am concerned it will be worth it just to have the money in my bank account sooner rather than later because the reason for the loan is so that my wife and I can go to Australia to spend Christmas with our daughter and the flights are going up in price every time I look at the website.I wish we could have applied for the loan much earlier in the year but we didn't want to be presumptuous and our daughter has only just got around to inviting us!

It's off on holiday we go in June. Two weeks of cocktails and sunshine or so I thought until tragedy struck. Unaccounted for repairs to the roof of the house and motor car repairs to both family vehicles left us in a bit of a pickle but nothing was going to stop this vacation.I worked out that it would be no train smash as long as I could take out a personal loan for about £4000 and that's exactly what I did. Just from comparing loan institutions I found myself asking Tesco Bank for a personal loan repayable over 2 years. All this was handled online which made everything so simple. The loan was approved and shortly thereafter we had the money. My credit score must have been positive and they knew that I was no risk. So we all had our Summer holiday thanks to TESCO BANK.

I really want this to be the best Christmas ever so that they go back to Australia with lots of happy memories. After a bit of a chat with my husband we decided to push the boat out a bit and get a small personal loan so that we could afford a few more extra presents for our wonderful grandchildren. We decided on Tesco Bank because we had used them before when we were replacing our old car and we were very satisfied with the loan they gave us then so we saw no reason not to use them again. The loan has just been approved and we can get started on the Christmas shopping of which the list is very long and I know I shouldn't really say it but I do hope we get lots of snow for Christmas because my youngest grandchild has never experienced it and that would be the best Christmas present of all for him and I think for me and my husband too.

My wife and I both knew that another car was desperately needed as our current vehicle had reached its end so when we did our last shopping at Tesco we found out a bit more about their loan deals. That same evening we applied online for a personal loan from TESCO BANK and asked for £8000 which was the amount we wanted to spend and the loan was approved very quickly indeed. Quite obviously certain financial assurances were required and once that was done we received the loan agreement at home and signed it to pay back over 3 years at a very good fixed rate. We had the money in our account soon thereafter. We have since bought the car we felt suited us and we are very pleased. Our thanks to TESCO BANK.

We also asked to repay the loan over 5 years so the instalments would not be a strain.Certain credit checks were done and the next thing was to sign the loan agreement and the money was made available soon thereafter. My son is getting married soon and has categorically refused any financial assistance for the wedding. His mother and I certainly want to help with something and we remembered him complaining about the interest rate he was paying on his car. We then found out that he still had 2 years to pay on his loan that he acceptrd from the dealership when he bought his car.He still owed about £5000 on the car and we agreed that I would settle it for him.I then applied for a personal loan from TESCO BANK at a much better rate and paid off his car as a wedding present. Everything was done online and took a matter of a few days and I chose to repay over 2 years so it was basically just a swop of the loan and all worked out well. Tesco Bank were really helpful.

The only quick way I thought would be a personal loan so I went online and looked up all the loan companies and found one that I see almost every day, well certainly the name anyway. I filled in the application online and asked TESCO BANK for a personal loan of £5000 to repay over 2 years and the loan was approved almost immediately. I am gainfully employed and own my own home so my credit rating must have been acceptable so the next thing was to sign the loan agreement and the money was transferred to my account. I especially liked the fact that the loan was fixed so the monthly instalment would not change for the duration of the loan. Good for you TESCO BANK.

All we needed to do now was sort out the finance. As this is not something we will do again for some time we felt it better not to use our savings and rather take out a personal loan. We do all our shopping at Tesco and heard about their loan services so went online and applied for a personal loan of £6000 to be settled over 3 years so that the instalments could be debit ordered and not put any pressure on us.It was so simple. My fiancé and I got married in a nice small chapel and we had a small ceremony, only inviting family and close friends. The reason for a small wedding is that we would rather spend money on a nice honeymoon in Hawai. We could have taken a loan with any of the many banks in the UK, as there are many, offering so many different deals, and competing for clients...however none beat Tesco. They allow certain clients, us incuded, to benefit from NOT paying the installment during the first 2 months. This is fantastic, as it gives us breathing space to go on honeymoon and then return and get organised as a married couple before starting to pay the loan. Im impressed with Tesco because of this benefit and therefore we applied with them for the £3000 loan, which luckily was approved. Good benefit, great honeymoon. Thank you Tesco.

Tesco offer it all, I must admit. Not only is it a superb supermarket, in my opinion, but they also offer financial services, something I was surprised to learn. I have shopped with them for so so many years and had never noticed this! When I was on the readies.co.uk site comparing banks , to apply for a £3000 personal loan, I realized, to my amazement that Tesco´s name was on the list. Wow! I studied what they offer with curiosity and realized that I could accumulate points to use to shop, if I borrowed from them. I did just that, and found that even the interest rate was acceptable. My application was approved and I´m a happier customer than I ever was. Thank you Tesco.

My boss has just given me a generous increase ,as I train sales reps and my team has broken the last 2 year´s sale records. I am very excited about this and felt it was time to buy myself the car of my dreams. As I had saved some money I only needed to borrow £10 000 and so I approached Tesco, as I already have a credit card and insurance with them and like the way they work. I could have gone to my own bank but they do not offer the possibility to pay back the loan before the end of the last payment, which does not suit me. With my type of work, if I reach target I get commissions which can be high depending on my team´s performance, so I would like the option to pay back early if possible. For this reason I opted for Tesco. The loan was given and I´m a very happy young man.

I´m not very good with technology, so going " on-line" to apply for a loan is something that makes me a little nervous. I´m quite capable of writing emails and even doing what I´m doing now, typing out a review to express my experience with others, but to apply on line is not me! I was therefore happy that with Tesco I could just pick up the phone and apply for the £3000 I needed that way. The gentleman that helped me and guided me from the other side of the line was polite and patient and with his help I got the cash I needed with no ado. I´m sure there are many folk out there that are unaware that Tesco is not just a supermarket, they offer a lot more including loans of all types and telephonically too! So, I´m writing this little review to tell those people that Tesco´s clients services department is very "together". I recommend them to anyone who, like me ,likes to deal with friendly people and likes the " warm" human touch, as over the computer its so impersonal.

I have a steady job an above average income and do not have any debt, but saying that, this also means that I do not own my own house.I live with my parents as I´m still a young man of 26 and do not feel I need to move out and be lumbered with unnecessary extra expenses. It may not be so good when one needs to take a loan as they see you have no credit history...but I guess at least they see you don´t have any debts either...I guess it must count for something as I did not get penalized for it when Tesco looked at my on-line application for a £4000 personal loan.Even with no track record they granted me the funds so that I could enjoy a superb holiday with my girlfriend this year. The interest rate seemed low enough and I have absolutely nothing unkind to say about Tesco. I can advise others to try them out, with a certain degree of confidence.

I am starting a new life with my soon to be wife Melanie. We are getting married on the 31st of December so it will be a double celebration. New years Eve and our wedding night. We have been living together for a few years now and have our apartment nicely decorated with lovely furniture, all paid for in cash. The wedding ceremony however will cost us a fair amount of money leaving us very broke...so we had no choice but to ask Tesco Bank to lend us £2000 for our honeymoon trip. Not wanting to come back and start repaying the loan immediately,we applied for a 2 month break, meaning we would only start paying 2 months after the cash was handed over to us. During those 2 months we would only pay the interest. This was a huge relief to us as we could relax for a while. I would like to congratulate Tesco on this feature.

I needed a personal loan in a big rush to help out a friend in dire straits. He needed £8000 as he had to pay a supplier urgently and as he had had some financial issues recently we both knew the loan would probably be refused, so I decided to apply and then pass the money on to him, as I trust him and know he will pay me back asap. As he needed this urgently I applied on line with Tesco and paid an extra fee to have the loan agreement delivered to my offices via courier to speed up the procedure. One of the reasons why I applied with Tesco instead of with another bank is because the moment my friend paid me back i wanted to pay off the loan at once, to get rid of it. I will gladly pay the extra charges associated with early repayment as its not a high fee. Tesco gave me the loan in record time and I have helped my very good friend. Tesco was efficient and I was impressed.

I am a client of Tesco and I shop with this store every week. My sister recently needed a £5000 loan to give to her son so he could buy his first car and I advised her to approach Tesco for a loan as I have had many dealings with them not just shopping but with financial services. Up until today they have always treated me well and I´ve never felt abused or ripped off. My sister went to one of Tesco´s stores and applied face to face as she preferred it this way, as she hates computers. They helped her fill in the application form, she signed it and within a few days the money she applied for was in her bank account. She asked me to write this review to let others know that she had a good experience with Tesco.

Thanks to Tesco Bank we will have a nice Christmas this year without outlaying a cent...yet. My family are here from Wales and I want to spoil them, by taking them to a wonderful upmarket restaurant for New Years. There are 12 of them and I was not about to part with almost £2000 cash, so I applied for a loan with Tesco back, so that I can pay them back over the period of 12 months without feeling the dent to my savings. Filling in the on line application form was easy, even for me, a 58 year old lady who isn´t the best on the other side of a computer. Tesco sent me the agreement via post which I received and returned about 4 days later. The loan was granted instantly and I have to put a good word in their favor as it all went smoothly. Congratulations Tesco. This way I will recommend you.

I was after a personal loan to do some work at home and the wife told me about Tesco. Now we do all our shopping at Tesco so when I found out that they also deal in the financial world it made a lot of sense for me to approach them for a personal loan. It was really pretty straightforward. An online application requesting the amount, which happened to be £7000 and the repayment period, which was 3 years. The loan was approved very quickly and all that remained was signing the loan agreement and the money was available. What also impressed me was that the instalments would be the same for the duration of the loan. I also signed a debit order so the instalments would be automatically deducted from my account. Thank you TESCO BANK.

It was my wife who told me about TESCO BANK. I had no idea that they offered personal loans and other banking services. We wanted to upgrade our car. We'd seen the one we wanted and the dealership offered us £6000 for ours which meant we needed another £10000 to settle. So the next thing we did was to go online and fill in the loan application for the abovementioned amount and very quickly the loan was approved. We asked to pay off over 4 years which suited us especially as the instalments would be the same for the duration of the loan as it was a fixed rate loan. All we then had to do was sign the loan agreement after our creditworthiness was confirmed and the money was ours. We now also have our dream car and all thanks to TESCO BANK!

To take out a personal loan it's important to do some research before just going ahead and a bit of advice from me is that you don't have to look too far. My wife told me about Tesco's services and it was really helpful. We needed a sum of £6000 just to fill a gap and applied for a personal loan from Tesco Bank. The loan was approved so quickly and all we then had to do was sign the loan agreement after a small amount of credit red tape and the money was transferred to our account. We asked for the 3 year repayment schedule and that was fine. It suited us perfectly and for my wife so did the bonus shopping points. Tesco Bank are the best.

There were two things that I needed to do before the Summer holidays. The one was to have my car repaired which was to set me back about £2000 and the second was to ensure I had enough cash for my wife and I to go across to Barcelona for a week and have a great time.As we shop at Tesco regularly we found out about their loan services and applied online for a personal loan of £5000 which was enough for the hotel and the flights and still left a bit over for spending money. We elected to repay over 24 months and appreciated the fact that the rate was fixed which meant the instalments would be constant. As soon as our afforability was checked out we signed the loan agreement and without much red tape the money was transferred to our account.TESCO BANK are on the ball.

I recently applied to Tesco for a personal loan of £5000 for some home improvements, as my wife is about to have our fist baby and we need to add a nice cozy bedroom for him, as well as buy furniture.I was careful to ask, on my application, to be allowed a 2 month break at the start of the loan repayment, for some breathing space as the child was going to be expensive..new clothes, cots etc.As we needed the funds quite quickly once the loan was approved, I paid an extra fee and the documents for me to sign arrived by courier the following day.The whole procedure went smoothly and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever against Tesco who are not just a great supermarket but also a great Bank.A good option to consider if you are looking for good service.

My wife and I had long been planning a trip to South Africa to see our son, his wife and our two grandchildren. We had all lived there and my son schooled and grew up there. We decided to move back to the UK to live and our son carried on with his life in sunny SA. We knew that the Pound was very favourable against the Rand and knew that we wouldn't need that much spending money. It was really just for the flights and a bit extra. We do all our shopping at TESCO and without a second thought we applied online for a personal loan of £6000 to be repaid over 2 years. The loan was approved almost immediately. They carried out their credit checks and a few days later the loan agreement arrived at home which we signed and returned. In a matter of a couple of days the money was transferred to our account. We've since booked our flights and the family are overjoyed. It's been a number of years since we've seen them and it's all thanks to TESCO BANK!

My family have been regular shoppers at Tesco for many years and a little while ago with Xmas looming in the not too distant future my wife suggested we take out a small personal loan so we can really spoil ourselves and the kids this Xmas. Very simple as everything was done online. The application was filled out requesting the amount of £3000 and the 2 year payoff period as well as our details to confirm creditworthiness. The loan was approved and after signing the loan agreement the money was transferred to our account. A very good benefit is that the loan ia a fixed rate loan.We thank Tesco for making our Xmas a good one.

This brilliant loan from Tesco Bank is going to make this the best Christmas ever for me and my family this year. After being unemployed for 18 months all my savings had been used up but now that I am back in full time employment I can afford to take out this very competitive loan with Tesco Bank . Being able to opt for a repayment break also means I wont have to start paying back the loan until February of next year by which time I shall be back on my feet financially and the monthly repayments wont be a problem for me. My kids are so excited and I can't wait to see their faces when I put all their presents under the tree!

Right from the start everything went smoothly and I was beginning to think I might have missed some vital bit of information when I applied because I had been turned down for a loan with my own bank only a few weeks before.I am very happy to say Tesco Bank were fully aware of all my financial circumstances and were still happy to approve my loan and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate their service which has been second to none. However it does make me wonder what my own bank have against me?

Top Marks to Tesco Bank for sorting out a brilliant personal loan for me in time for Christmas. I had been debating whether or not to take the plunge and after looking online at Tesco Bank's website I decided to give them a go. I am not very good with dealing with banks as a rule and I didn't even consider going to my own bank for a loan but I have several friends who have had loans from Tesco Bank and they all said very good things about them. Tesco Bank have also given me the option to take a two month repayment holiday which means I don't have to start making repayments until Christmas is over and done with. For the first time in a long time I am actually looking forward to shopping for Christmas presents knowing that my debit card is not going to be declined and that is such a a nice feeling at what is usually a very stressful time of year for me. Thank you Tesco Bank I feel like Santa has come early for me this year!

My wife's sister recommended Tesco Bank to us when we told her we were looking for a personal loan to pay for some new furniture before Christmas. We were on the verge of taking out store credit to purchase the items we wanted but the cost in interest rates was very high and we couldn't justify paying so much extra for the items. When we made the online application with Tesco bank and discovered that not only were their interest rates much lower, we would also be eligible for extra Clubcard points which my wife was delighted about.I don't often take a lot of notice of my sister-in -law's advice but I have to admit she has come up trumps this time and we are very glad that she did.

Tesco's, I discovered, had a wide range of financial services and I was able to secure a personal loan from them. I wanted to let the readers know how easy they are to work with and how accommodating they can be, should your reader want to borrow money to fund extra expenses.I wanted a personal loan to buy a second car for the family and did not want to touch our savings. I was in a Tesco branch and just went to talk with their finance people. They were really helpful and I was filling out an application right away. After a few days, the documents arrived at the house, which I signed and returned to them. Within a few more days, the money was in our account, Very pleasant experience.

It's always a bit harrowing to think about borrowing money but I was in a Tesco shopping with my girlfriend and I decided to bite the bullet and go speak to their customer service. I had wanted some extra cash to buy that all important ring, so while my partner was shopping, I filled out an application and asked all the relevant questions. They made me feel at ease and I was less stressed about my decision to borrow. When they worked out the terms I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome, which was affordable and doable on my budget. When the documents came I signed without hesitation and returned them. I am glad I went to Tesco's as they made it very easy to get my personal loan.

I have a credit card and mortgage with Tesco's so did not hesitate to contact them about a personal loan. I have always found them to be helpful and I was confident about pursuing a loan with them.I needed some extra cash to take a trip for a family emergency and went on line with all my necessary details and account numbers with them. The form was quite easy to complete and an added bonus was extra clubcard points. They sent the documents to sign for the personal loan within a few days and after returning the loan documents, the cash was in my account within a few more days. I can highly recommend using Tesco's financial services.

I needed a loan to get me over the holidays and when I read that Tesco's had a special deal where you could delay payment, I went for it. I was waiting on a bonus from work, which had been delayed, so I was anxious to find the money quickly. Tesco's came through for me and allowed me to buy the items I needed.I went on line and found it was easy to complete their personal loan form. I could afford the repayments and the interest rate was comparable to the current market. I considered this a win-win situation as I was able to pay back the money early, although I did have to pay the interest for a few extra months, but it was worth it to get the job done. Thanks to Tesco's I am solvent again.

My daughter was having a baby, our first grand child, and I really wanted to help her out with all the expensive equipment you need for a new born. I did not want to dive into our savings and decided to take out a personal loan to cover the cost of baby items, big and small.I went into Tesco's to speak with their customer service representative, while the wife did our shopping. I thought it might take a long time but after consulting with a very nice lady, we filled out the application in no time at all and she explained the process. We looked at the repayment amounts with the different interest rates and loan amounts, they all seemed very reasonable. So I went ahead and signed on the dotted line. She said it would take a couple of days to process and she believed I would be receiving an offer of a loan if the administration felt I reached all the criteria they needed. Sure enough, the loan documents arrived within a few days which I signed and returned. The money went into our account soon after that. Great people to work with.

I don't pretend to be a big fan of Tescos and I very rarely shop in their supermarkets but I can't deny that they are right up there with the regular high street lenders when it comes to competitive loans and that is precisely why I chose to go to them for this personal loan. When it comes to borrowing money I have always had the ability to put aside preconceived ideas and opinions about certain institutions and Tesco Bank is one of them. So much so that I even have a Tesco Clubcard now and I shall certainly be putting it to very good use in their supermarkets now that I know I am being rewarded each time I make a purchase as I am also certainly not one for looking a gift horse in the mouth. My advice to anyone looking for a personal loan is to firstly go into it with an open mind and you may just be pleasantly surprised.

My wife took out the personal loan with Tesco Bank and I did wonder what on earth she was thinking of going to a supermarket for something our own bank was perfectly suitable for. As it turns out our bank had declined our loan application and my wife was so hopping mad with them that she was determined to get the loan from somewhere else by hook or by crook. She did the usual online loan comparison and decided on Tesco Bank and I think the whole street must have heard her shout with delight when she was given the approval. Within less than a week we had the money deposited in our bank account and my wife is currently on a mission to spend it as quickly as possible on Christmas presents.I swear if she'd had the option of getting the loan in cash and storing it under the mattress she would have opted for that instead of giving our bank the benefit of the money. They say Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and if you met my wife you wouldn't disagree with that.

We spent a magnificent summer away in Miami and got back ready for the next season of festivities, namely Xmas. Unfortunately we spent too much money and when we returned the car's engine seized and to have that repaired really drained our resources.Xmas is a very special time for our family and not a time to be short of cash so we did the next logical thing. We applied online for a personal loan from TESCO BANK and asked for £5000 to be repaid over 2 years. After checking our credit record the loan was approved and a short while later we had the money.TESCO BANK saved our Xmas this year and for that we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

An online application and a very quick approval followed by the signing of the loan agreement which included the amount of £6000 which we asked for and the accord that we would repay the debt over 2 yearsAs soon as these documents were signed the money was transferred to our account and we were thrilled. Ever since we were refused a loan by our own bank several years ago we made a decision never to approach them for one again. We felt we had been unfairly judged by them because of a misunderstanding about our overdraft facility and ever since then our relationship with them has been strained and my wife even feels awkward when she has to go in to our local branch. However, thanks to the internet and in particular these loan comparison websites we have not had any problems getting a loan elsewhere and the loan we have just been approved by Tesco Bank is just right for us. We have even been given the opportunity to delay the repayments until the new year which will be a great help to us.It is nice to know that there are alternatives to getting loans from your own bank and Tesco Bank are a very good alternative in our opinion and we would recommend them wholeheartedly.

I am writing to say how much I appreciate all the help the staff at my local Tesco's gave me when I enquired about one of their personal loans. The young lady on the customer services desk was extremely kind and explained how easy it would be for me to make the online application. I wasn't sure if I could manage it by myself and she said to just call them if I got stuck and had any problems. To my surprise I did manage to do the online application and I was very pleased with myself. I didn't have to wait too long for the paperwork because the nice young lady also advised me to opt for the courier service which meant I had the documents the very next day.I won't think twice now about doing this sort of thing online but I have to say it was very nice to have the personal touch from the staff and in particular the charming young lady at Tescos in Orpington.

I didn't even know that Tesco did loans but I always trust my grandson because he is a very clever young man and will go far in life.So we did the application on my daughter's computer and my grandson had a huge grin on his face when he told me that my loan had been approved. He recommended that I have the loan documents delivered by courier the next day for a small extra charge. He even had the cheek to ring me to make sure I hadn't forgotten and popped out to the shops or something. As if I would. Anyway I have my loan money now and the first thing I am going to do is buy my grandson his Christmas present which I think is called an Eye Pad but I might be wrong so I had better check with his mum first.

It was my wife's idea to get the loan from Tesco Bank because she said our next door neighbours had just got one and they were very pleased with it. I said we should do some research first before taking the decision but we did look at Tesco Bank first and I found myself agreeing with the wife and our neighbours which has got to be a first!Tesco were offering a very reasonable and competitive APR on the amount we wanted to borrow and we were able to work out how much the monthly repayments would be before we went ahead and made an official application for the loan. We have just signed and returned the loan documents and hope to have the money in our account by the end of the week. Its nice to know that our neighbours don't just gossip over the garden fence but give out good advice as well and I will have to say thanks to them as a matter of courtesy. After a lot of discussion I finally got my husband to agree to us taking out a small personal loan in time for Christmas. I am not saying he is a Scrooge but he just doesn't see the point of all the commercial side of the Festive Season and our poor kids would end up with a lot less to open on Christmas morning if it were left to him to do the shopping! The reason I wanted the loan was because even though I am normally very good at budgeting for Christmas we had two large expenditures earlier in the year which ate into our savings and I had to make up the money somehow. On the understanding that the loan repayments wouldn't work out too expensive each month my husband agreed to the loan and because I knew he would give in eventually (he usually does) I had already made the online application with Tesco Bank and so when the loan agreement documents arrived the same day I had to tell a little white lie and say I paid extra to have them couriered. What he doesn't know won't hurt him!

The only thing that I wasn't too happy with was the idea of giving up my old apartment and moving closer to work. I found an apartment that was suitable but I needed to do a complete revamp. I'm very particular about where and how I live. For me to do all that was necessary I took out a personal loan with TESCO BANK for £8000 and chose the 3 year repayment schedule. It was a simple procedure, all done on line. My credit score was high and the loan was quickly approved. I waited a few days for the loan agreement and as soon as it was signed and returned the money was made available. My apartment is now starting to look like home all thanks to TESCO BANK.

We had some neighbours move in next to us and although we like them very much we just could not come to grips with their dogs' continuous barking and they only bark on sight so we believed that if they didn't see us they wouldn't bark at us. Our neighbours agreed so we decided to do something we wanted to do long before the new neighbours moved in. We would build a wall between the two houses high enough not to look like we're in prison but rather to give us both more privacy and at the same time look really good. We had our neighbours approval and so we went online and asked TESCO BANK for a personal loan of £6000 and had the loan approved very quickly. As soon as their credit checks were carried out the money was transferred to our account. We're paying back over 3 years and let me tell you something it's the best £6000 I've ever spent. My personal loan from Tesco Bank is worthy of a positive review on this website and here's why.Firstly, the whole process from the moment I made my online application to the minute the funds were available in my bank account took less than a week. Admittedly I had to pay an additional fee to have the paperwork delivered by courier but I think this a good way of sending this sort of important documents and I would have requested this service anyway.Secondly, the two most important factors for me when taking out the loan was competitive rates and affordable monthly repayments. Tesco Bank delivered on both those requirements. And thirdly, being able to take a two month repayment holiday at the start of the loan means I don't have worry about it until after Christmas and my bank account has recovered from the extra expense of Christmas. Need I say more? Thanks Tesco Bank and a very Merry Christmas!

We started thinking about taking out a personal loan way back in August after we got back from our summer holiday and we realised we had spent far more of our savings than we intended to. We knew it would leave us very short for Christmas and as both our kids wanted iPads amongst other things we would have to rob a bank or get a loan.Obviously, I was joking about robbing a bank, hubby's a policeman for one thing, and so I went online and started looking at loan options. I decided that Tesco Bank were a good choice for various reasons, the main one being the option to take a two month repayment holiday. Being able to borrow the money and not have to make the first repayment until February was just right for us as it would give us plenty of time to get our finances back on track. So now that we have the loan and most of the kids presents are under the tree, I can relax a bit and enjoy the Festive season.

I'm delighted with the very competitive and very convenient personal loan I have just been approved by Tesco Bank. With the APR that is much lower than other lenders were quoting and the option to be able to take a 2 month repayment break I am already feeling the benefit of the loan without having had to part with a penny in repayments until next year.I would definitely recommend Tesco Bank to anyone looking for a similar deal with a personal loan and I am pleased that I was able to find such a great deal with the help of the loan comparison website Readies which I had not used before. All in all, my experience of taking out this personal loan has been very very satisfying and I would not say that about past experiences I have had with borrowing money.

We managed quite well to afford Christmas and all the extra expense that entails but we knew it would leave us very short when it came to booking our summer holidays. So we thought ahead and applied for a personal loan with Tesco Bank and we are about to start booking our fortnight in the sun now that the funds have been deposited into our bank account. We have used Tesco Bank before and were very happy with the previous loan but this time we have taken advantage of the 2 month repayment holiday so that we can get ourselves back on our feet financially after Christmas. By February we will be back to our usual budget and the loan will be more than affordable for us. We will even be able to put a bit aside for some extra holiday spending money which is always nice to be able to do. I shall just have to keep an eye on the wife when it comes to the all the sales in the shops as she does like a bargain or two!

i was in quite a state not too long ago because I had my eye on a car that I thought was a real bargain. My car had reached it's end and was due to be scrapped. I went to the dealership and asked him if the car could be reserved for a while. He couldn't agree to it as a few people had shown an interest and it was first come first serve. My wife was the clever one who told me to ask TESCO BANK for a personal loan of £10000 and to repay over 4 years. After a few credit checks the loan was approved and allI I then had to do was sign the loan agreement and the money was mine. This was all over in a matter of days and I was really pleased that the car had not been sold when I went back to the dealer. The vehicle is now mine and all thanks to TESCO BANK and their promptness and professionalism.

I am delighted to be writing this review because it means I have just been approved my personal loan from Tesco Bank. This is the first time I have used the internet to apply for a loan and I am pleasantly surprised at how well I coped with it. I usually rely on my son to help with this sort of thing but he is away skiing at the moment and my wife and I wanted to get the loan sorted before the year was out.I took advantage of the courier next day delivery and all being well, when my son returns from his trip I will have signed on the dotted line and have the loan money in my bank account ready to start looking for a nice new set of golf clubs and the main reason for the loan, to replace our old bath with a nice shower cubicle which should help keep the wife happy too.

Well I never thought I'd be getting a personal loan from the likes of Tesco but then I never thought I would be using a computer at my age but here I am with my recently approved loan that I managed to apply for using the internet. My late wife would be very impressed with me as she was always one for keeping up with modern technology and spent hours trying to teach me how to use our laptop. The loan is for me to do some home improvements before I sell the family home and move to something smaller. I like to keep myself busy and doing the work myself will be challenging but I can afford to get the professionals in to do the bits that I am not very good at such as plumbing. This loan is going to take care of all that and i can just get on with the painting and decorating side of things which I am not too bad at if I do say so myself.

After narrowing down my search to 3 similar loan company options I finally decided to go with the Tesco Bank loan mainly due to the fact that they were giving me the option of a two month repayment holiday.Taking a loan out so soon after Christmas meant that my budget would be a bit tight so not having to make repayments on the loan for the first two months was ideal for me. By the time the first repayment is due I hope to be back on my feet money wise and the first repayment won't put such a big dent in my bank account. It's a shame all lenders don't offer the same option but as Tesco Banks lending rates were very competitive I would probably have gone with them anyway, the repayment holiday was just a nice bonus on an otherwise very good loan.

Despite not being a regular shopper in the Tesco supermarkets, I have had a couple of previous loans with their bank and this 3rd loan is just as competitive and convenient as the last two.I am borrowing a considerably larger amount this time and the loan is going to be spread over a much longer period of time which means the monthly repayments will still be easily affordable for me.It may be a while before I take out another loan but I will certainly consider Tesco Bank again and who knows, I might even start shopping regularly in their supermarkets now that my wife has decided we should share that particular task. That new Tesco advert has got a lot to answer for!

Good old Tescos haven't let me down again. They have given me another loan that is competitive and affordable which are the only two things that I really look for in a personal loan.I took out my first ever loan with them 3 years ago and when the final repayment was made I started thinking about what I could use another loan for and having three daughters all coming up to marrying age I had a feeling it wouldn't be long before the next loan would be to help out with a wedding for one of them.I wasn't far wrong and my eldest daughter is set to tie the knot in June with a bit of financial help from me and her mum. We won't be able to pay for all of it but our daughter and her partner have been very sensible and saved a bit themselves. The other girls are dating and I am just hoping they both have very long engagements before they decide to get married as I have had to take this current loan out over a longer period due to it being for quite a bit more than the first loan.I never realised how expensive weddings can be these days and I am hoping the other girls might consider eloping to Gretna Green when their time comes although my wife would be very upset if they did!

My mum recommended Tesco Bank to me when I said I was thinking of taking out a personal loan to pay for a new kitchen in the flat I have just bought. So before I put it off I got my laptop out and had a look at their Website. I was surprised at how competitive their loans were and how easy it was to get a a quote and an immediate decision. Before I had finished my cup of tea I had been approved the loan and on mum's suggestion I applied for the 2-month repayment break that they were offering which will be very handy and means I will have had time to recover from my overspending at Christmas before the first repayment is due.Mum has also told me to opt for the courier service to have the loan documents delivered the next day which, all being well, means I should have my loan in my bank account by the middle of next week and mum and I are going to keep the laptop out so that we can look at new kitchens now.

After using the loan comparison website I decided on Tesco Bank to apply for my personal loan mainly because I needed the loan immediately but the option to delay making the repayments for the first 2 months was a real bonus for me. I think with the loan being so soon after Christmas a lot of people in my position would do the same. By the time the first instalment is due I will have caught up a bit with my finances and the money won't be as tight as it is currently. If I could have waited six months before taking out the loan that would have been the best option for me but unfortunately for some reason boilers seem to have a tendency to break down at this time of year and going through winter without central heating just wasn't an option for me. Fortunately Tesco Bank were happy to allow me the repayment holiday which was a relief because I didn't want to have to start looking for another lender.

I can remember laughing to myself when I first heard that Tescos were getting into the banking and loan business a few years ago. But I am not laughing now because I have just taken out a personal loan with them that has knocked the loans on offer from my own bank out of the ball park.Tesco Bank have come a very long way since those early days and they appear to be able to compete with major banks like my own which is good news for everyone because stiff competition is what the banks need to keep them on their toes and Tesco Bank are certainly giving them plenty of that.My personal loan is not only competitive with all the high street banks but it comes with the option of taking a repayment holiday which I have taken advantage of although the monthly repayments are quite affordable anyway. I am more than satisfied with this loan and I wouldn't dream of laughing at anything else Tesco decide to branch out into as I am sure they will make a success of it. They don't seem to have failed so far.

A while ago I got myself into a situation where I was paying off a load of bad loans and it was costing me a fortune. I had a pretty good job with an above average salary and a good friend of mine who knew my position suggested I take out yet another loan and settle all the bad ones and then only pay off one.I went online to do some research and liked what I saw about TESCO BANK and immediately filled in an online application asking for a personal loan of £14000 with a payback schedule over 4 years. I was checked out for affordability and the loan was approved. I then just had to sign the loan agreement and the money was transferred to my account. I also signed a debit order so the instalments could be deducted automatically. The only reason I did this was because the loan had a fixed rate status which meant the instalments would be the same for the duration of the loan. I have since settled all those ugly debts and it's turned my life around. I have so much more cash at the end of each month and it's all thanks to TESCO BANK.

Getting the option for a two month repayment holiday at the start of this loan was one of the main things that swayed our decision about which lender to choose. With us needing the loan so soon after Christmas we were financially short and needed a bit of breathing space before the first loan repayment would be due. Tesco Bank have agreed to this and that has made our decision to go with them justified.Being Tesco Clubcard holders and regular shoppers in their supermarkets we are also going to benefit from the extra points we have received with this loan and so all in all we have come off very well with this loan. We certainly wouldn't be saying that if we had got our loan from our own bank and I think that is the reason lenders like Tesco Bank are such a success.

I couldn't say no to that and couldn't let him pay our flights as I knew that the whole do would set him back quite a lot.We had some savings but my wife suggested we ask TESCO BANK for a personal loan. So we went online and filled in the application requesting £5000 and a 2 year repayment schedule so as not to put any pressure on us. As soon as our affordability was checked out the loan was approved and the money was made available just after signing the loan agreement. My brother was really pleased and so were we as we'd not met his future wife and this would give all of us the opportunity to get together. All thanks to TESCO BANK!

Getting the approval for my loan from Tesco Bank and the option to take a two month repayment break has been an absolute life saver for me. I put off applying for the loan before Christmas because I knew I would struggle to afford the repayments in the build up to it what with all the extra expenditure but had I known about the repayment holiday option I may have taken the loan out sooner. The loan is to pay for a new central heating system and boiler and I really could have done with getting the work done earlier. But we got by with the help of log fires and extra duvets on the beds and with all the floods that some people are enduring all over the country we really couldn't complain about our own predicament too much.Tesco Bank were a good choice for our loan not just because of the relatively low APR and the repayment break but because they were quick off the mark in approving the loan and within 2 days of returning the loan documents we have our money in the bank and the work has started on the new heating system. The first monthly payment isn't due until March so I'm confident the family finances will be looking a bit better by then.

We have just booked to go on a marvellous cruise with some very dear friends of ours and it wouldn't have been possible without the personal we have just got from Tesco Bank.It was our friends idea to get the loan from Tesco Bank because they have had loans from them before and they are using a Tesco Bank loan to pay for the cruise and suggested we did the same.We weren't sure about Tesco Bank being the best option for us but when we approached our own bank for the loan they were quoting a rather high interest rate compared to Tesco Bank and so it really made more economic sense to get our loan from Tesco Bank.We don't shop a lot at Tescos but we may well start going there more often because we are so delighted with the way Tesco Bank have dealt with our loan application we feel giving them a bit more of our custom is the very least we can do to say thank you for the very competitive loan they have given us.

I had been looking at engagement rings for my girlfriend and was a bit taken aback at how much they could cost. I did not want to skimp on that perfect ring so decided to take out a personal loan. I was aware that Tesco's had a bank and offered financial services, so decided to give them a try and apply for a personal loan. When I read up on their website the criteria I needed to meet and the kind of loans that they offer I was pretty impressed as it seemed a very simple process. I liked the idea that you could pay off a loan early if you wanted and could take a break from repayments. I made an application on line and waited for their decision. They came back really quickly and I was offered the loan I wanted at a very reasonable interest rate. They was easy and now can go shopping for that special purchase.

I needed some extra finances to take my son and daughter on a family trip, I did not want to dive into my savings and thought getting a personal loan might be the way to go. I noticed when shopping at my local Tescos store that they offered loans at very competitive rates so I decided to go on line and see what they could do for me.I filled out the application which seemed fairly simple, I liked the idea that I could earn some extra clubcard points, that's always a bonus. They got back to me fairly quickly and asked a few more details, which I supplied. The next day, I received a decision to offer me the personal loan that I had applied for. The money appeared in my account by the end of the week so we could start making plans for our trip. Tesco's were easy to work with, I highly recommend them.

I was reading a flyer that was posted outside of the customer service area in Tescos, I had no idea that they were a financial provider offering different services. I had been considering getting a personal loan to consolidate some debts that had accumulated, and wondered if I would qualify for a loan.I figured the only way to find out was to apply so I went on line to the Tescos website to look at the details they needed. The form, upon reading through it, seemed simple enough, so I filled it in and hoped for the best. I liked the idea of being able to pay off the loan early and having a break from payments if I wanted. The decision was immediate, which surprised me, and after going through the agreement documents the money was deposited into my bank within a few days. Very cool.

My wife needed surgery urgently and we could not wait for the long waiting list to be dealt with, so I decided to get a personal loan so we could take care of her needs. We had planned a trip and as the surgery was going to take a long while before it happened, we went privately, which of course, costs money. But no matter, we decided to find the financing and we used Tescos to do it. We shop there and we knew they offered financial services, so it was an easy choice.I went on line and applied for a personal loan. We knew how much it was going to cost so we did not hesitate to apply for the same amount. Luck was with us and an instant decision came back, we were delighted. My wife was taken care of and is recuperating and will be fit and ready for the trip we planned. Good on you Tescos.

I applied for a personal loan at Tescos to cover the cost of buying a second hand vehicle for my son. He had been successful in finding a job, after university but needed transportation. I could not loan him my vehicle as we only have the one, so we decided to buy him a car partly as a graduating present. I was aware that Tescos did offer financial services so I went on line to find out what the finer details were for getting a loan.It all seemed pretty reasonable and the form was simple to complete, so I filled out the loan application and submitted it for a decision. It was haggle free really and within no time at all they came back with a decision. I was very impressed with their process. The money was funded to our bank by the end of the week and we were able to start looking around for a vehicle.

My wife had heard that New Year's Eve on the Portuguese island of Madeira is special. The weather adds to the spectacle and the fireworks display is top notch too.A personal loan from Tesco Bank was all that was needed. We'd used them before and just like we did the last time it was all taken care of online. We asked for £4000 which nicely took care of flights and hotel and the loan was approved without too much red tape. What is it with supermarkets and stores now becoming financial lenders also?I had NO idea that Tesco also lent out money,,,,and was rather surprised to see them on the list of lenders at readies.co.uk.What next? Ice cream parlours will do it too?Well, after the initial shock, I kind of thought it was not a bad thing. Afterall Tesco is a reputable reliable supermarket and if they are efficient in that field, why not in the financial world? After all, they can´t do much worse than banks. As I am sick of hearing about how banks steal from us, I decided to take a different approach and ask for the £6000 that I needed to do home improvements, from Tesco.I applied on line and was given the option to start repaying the loan 2 months later, so as to not be pressurised. The interest rate was below average, compared to the other banks I had checked and they even sent me the documents to sign via courier on payment of a small amount. The loan was approved and up until now they have been professional. I hope it stays this way!

Our Tesco Bank loan is not just the first loan to have been applied for by me and not my husband but it is the first time I have used the internet for this sort of thing so I am delighted that I managed to do it unaided. I would put the achievement on a par with being able to use the self serve scanners at our local Tesco when they were first introduced although I did have to call for assistance several times before I finally got the hang of it.This was much easier and the result was much more rewarding because I got the immediate approval for the loan at a rate that my husband was very happy with. We have signed and returned the documents and once the funds are in our bank account we can relax and start putting the money to good use which is booking our summer holiday and that has always been something that I am very good at so I won't need any assistance although my husband will probably want some say in where we are actually going

We are so happy that Tesco have said yes to our loan and we can't wait to get planning our summer holiday. We haven't had a proper holiday in years and we are fed up with the British weather and want to have something to look forward to. 2 weeks of guaranteed sunshine is what we want and without putting too much strain on our finances we have taken out this loan to pay for it. We know it will be a few more years before we can have another holiday but this holiday in Orlando will be one to remember for a while. We chose Tesco Bank because they offer a repayment break which is very handy because it means we won't have to make our first repayment until March which will give us time to recover from Christmas. We think this is a really good thing to offer lenders and it certainly had a big influence on our final choice of lender. More lenders should offer this option as it would give us a much wider choice but we are still very happy with our choice of Tesco Bank and probably would have gone with them anyway.

We wouldn't be booking our holiday to Florida without this loan from Tesco Bank and we are so happy that we just had to post this review to say how much it means to us.We haven't been away on holiday as a family for nearly 5 years and that's mainly due to my husbands work but this will be the first time in ages that he can be with us for more than a week before he goes back on the oil rigs and so I want to surprise him with this holiday. Our eldest is 16 now and it won't be long before she won't want to go on holiday with us any more.I use Tescos for a lot of things and so it was my first choice when I decided to get a loan because I wanted to pay for this holiday without my husband having to contribute a penny and not having to go to our own bank for the loan suited me.As always Tesco have proved to me to be a reliable and competitive company to deal with and getting the best possible rate on this loan was a big factor. My kids are so excited and they can't wait to see their dad on Skype to be able to tell him the news. So thanks Tesco Bank for making this holiday possible.

Well done to Tesco Bank for giving me yet another great deal on a personal loan. I'll keep using your loan facility whenever needed so long as you keep giving me such great interest rates.I haven't had large loans with Tesco Bank, just the minimum amount over a 12 month period so I don't know if they can offer me such a great deal if I'm borrowing a lot more money. But my car is coming up for a long overdue replacement and if I can hold out until this loan is paid off next year then I may well try out Tesco Bank for a larger loan to buy a new car.

We nearly missed out on it because were were about to speak to our own bank until our daughter told us all about Tesco Bank and what competitive loans they are offering. Every little helps, you can say that again! Tesco have got it right with their slogan and this small personal loan I have just got from Tesco Bank is proof of that. After Christmas I found myself with a few debts that were becoming a bit of a struggle to pay and so I sat down and did some sums before I decided on how much I would need to borrow to be able to consolidate all of them into one affordable monthly repayment with a personal loan taken out over a 12 month period.Once I had worked that out I applied for the loan with Tesco Bank after choosing them from the loan comparison website. It was really quite easy and straightforward which made the whole decision to take out a loan much more agreeable. If I'd come up against too much red tape and bureaucracy I might have changed my mind and just soldiered on with the debts I had.Instead I am starting off 2016 with all my outstanding bills sorted and just the one easily affordable loan from Tesco Bank and as I also opted for the two month repayment holiday my first repayment isn't due until March which gives me a bit of breathing space. I think this is one of the best decisions I have made with regard to my finances in recent years and I hope to continue with that and not let debts build up again.

January started off with a few unexpected bills and we had to delve into our savings to pay them. It left us a bit short for our summer holiday which we like to book early in the year so that we can take advantage of discounts for early bookings. If we haven't sorted out our holiday by February we start to panic. So this caused us to think about borrowing the money and we spent an afternoon on the internet looking at lenders such as Tesco Bank. We chose them in the end because we felt they were a well established lender now and had a good reputation but were offering a much more competitive loan than our own bank.We haven't been disappointed with our choice and within a week of our initial application we have been approved the loan and the money has just been deposited into our bank account. So before we get on to booking our holiday we thought we should submit this review to say how delighted we are with our first experience of dealing with Tesco Bank.

I couldn't surprise her with it bacause she had to choose it but it pleased her immensely nontheless.I was compelled to take out a personal loan as I had no idea it would be that expensive. But it was beautiful and worth every penny and it was our house after all.We chose TESCO BANK and applied for a personal loan of £7000 and also asked fot the 3 year repayment plan. It was all taken care of very quickly with the loan being approved and the money becoming available as soon as the credit checks were carried out. I signed a debit order to ensure there'd be no slipups with the instalments. The work is nearing completion and looks incredible all thnks to TESCO BANK.

Our daughter announced she is getting married sooner than originally planned which didn't give us much time to save up some money to help with the cost of the wedding. So we took out a personal loan with Tesco Bank which they have just approved and we are rather pleased with the whole thing because we had never taken out a loan before and we don't even have a mortgage so this was all new to my husband and me. But we managed to do the most of it on the computer and then took the option of a courier service to get the loan agreement documents delivered the next day.We wanted to get the whole loan sorted before our daughter started planning the wedding and once she knew how much we were planning to give her for her wedding budget she was delighted and burst into tears saying she couldn't possibly let us borrow that much money on her behalf. We told her not to be so silly and to just get on with planning her dream wedding before we change our minds!

Supermarkets giving loans isn't unusual nowadays and as long as they can compete with the high street banks I think its fair to say that there is nothing wrong with that. Personally I feel a lot happier dealing with Tesco Bank for my loan rather than my own bank because Tesco Bank seem to have a more down to earth approach when dealing with customers and for working class people like me that is quite a relief. My own bank don't seem to have a lot of time for customers like me that don't have enormous bank balances. Tesco Bank are completely different and make the process of applying for a loan very easy and straightforward and treat each customer as a valued client no matter how small the loan they want.I got my loan without any hassle and took advantage of the 2 month repayment break so that I could be properly ready to make the first repayment on the loan without compromising myself. Until my own bank start taking that approach to lending I'll keep using lenders like Tesco Bank.

H i everybody! My name's Billy and I'm crazy about golf and snooker. I've been to most of the golf majors LIVE and I needed a small personal loan to go to London to see the MASTERS snooker tournament. I had already found suitable accomodation and just needed to get there. When I watch these two sports i'm overwhelmed by the skill and dedication of the players and I will spend any amount necessary to be part of the audience.Snooker fortunately costs a lot less to watch than golf and all I needed was a small personal loan and I'd be happy. I'd used TESCO BANK in the past and did the same again. An online application and a quick approval followed for the £3000 I requested. The 2 year repayment schedule also suited me fine and as soon as I'd signed the loan agreement the funds were in my account.I just can't wait! And TESCO makes all of this possible.

Every couple of years I look forward to taking out a small personal loan with Tesco Bank to pay for my trip to Spain to visit my sister and her husband who retired out there a few years ago.I wait until Christmas is over and work out what state my bank balance is in before deciding on how much to try and borrow. My sister always says just get your airfare together and not to worry about anything else but I like to be able to pay my way when I visit them.I have used Tesco Bank for the last couple of loans and they have suited me very well. I get a very good rate on the amount I borrow and even though I have to take the loan out over an 18 month period I am happy to do so because it means I am not going to struggle with the repayments. This latest loan is for just a little bit more than the last one but it means I can spend 3 weeks in Spain and afford to put my two dogs in a very nice boarding kennels this time instead of asking family to look after them. After all my little dogs deserve a nice holiday too.

Tesco Bank have just approved our online loan application and we have opted to have the loan documents delivered by courier tomorrow. We want to be able to make use of the funds as soon as they are in our bank account because we have been offered a great deal on a second hand car for my wife and the seller wants the cash asap and is reducing the asking price for us if we can guarantee the money by the end of the week. That gives us 4 days to get the money and Tesco have promised the money will be deposited into our account as soon as all the documents are signed and delivered so the courier service was the best way to speed up the whole process and we are crossing our fingers that we are able to meet the deadline and that my wife gets her car at a really great price and paid for with a very competitive loan from Tesco Bank.

I needed a lump sum a short while ago just to sort out something that I'd made a huge error of judgement on. I was gainfully employed and earned a fair income but all my savings were lost too. My wife told me about TESCO BANK and we went online and asked for a personal loan of £10000 which we'd settle over a 48 month period via a debit order. We liked this because the loan had a fixed rate status. We were thrilled when the loan was so quickly approved and after credit checks we then just had to sign the loan agreement and the money was ours.I must say that this has put us back on our feet again and thank TESCO BANK greatly!

I had accumulated a vet bill that had gone out of control. I have four dogs that are more than just pets. They are really part of the family and all four of them were desperately ill a while ago with a virus that almost took their lives. The vet is excellent and his work saved their lives. I also need to retain his services more than anything else so I needed to pay the bill.I was compelled to get a loan and so opted to go online and look for the easiest and best deal. Readies pointed me in the right direction and so I appled online for a personal loan of £4000 from TESCO BANK. Coincidentally we shop there all the time. They were great and after their usual credit checks were done my loan was approved. I'm not one for borrowing money so I chose to repay over 12 months which suited me and the wife down to the ground. We both work and the monthly payment suited us. Within a few days we had the money and the vet has been settled. He was really nice about it too. We thank TESCO BANK for treating our issue with the urgency they did and would recommend them with confidence.

I had originally planned to wait until about March or April before applying for a personal loan because I was still trying to get my finances back on track after Christmas. However the purpose of the loan was replace the boiler and hot water cistern in my flat which were old and inefficient and I really didn't want to go through the rest of the Winter months without proper heating and hot water. My friend at work suggested I try getting a loan that came with the option to defer payment at the start of the loan which would mean I could get the work done but not have to worry about the repayments for a couple of months. It was the best advice ever because I had never even considered that option. After a bit of research on the loan comparison website I found Tesco Bank were offering that option on their personal loans and I immediately decided to apply for one with them.Just over a week later from that good advice and I had my loan approved by Tesco Bank and the funds are due to be deposited into my account today, ready to pay for the work which has already started. So thanks to great advice from my friend at work and a great loan from Tesco Bank I'll be coming home from work to a nice warm flat from now on.

I wanted to get a personal loan to purchase a newer car and I found myself reading about Tesco's financial services because I had taken out an insurance policy with them. Might as well keep it in house I thought, so when I was last in my local store, I went and talked to a gal behind the service desk. She gave me some information and said I could either phone or go on line, she was not able to help me in the store as the loan person was not there at the moment. She was very nice and helpful and I said I would probably fire up the computer when I got home.I pulled up their website and read some more, I believed I fit the criteria they were asking for so I filled out the application and submitted it. What a nice surprise when an immediate decision came back and I was approved for a personal loan. The extra Clubcard points would go down well too. Great company to do business with.

I applied to Tesco's recently for a personal loan so I could consolidate my credit card balances. They offered pretty good rates and I expected them to beat the interest rates I was paying on my cards. So I applied for a personal loan and found their process to be pretty efficient and simple. The forms on line were understandable and easily completed. They said they give instant decisions, they were not wrong.I was really pleased when they came back with a decision so quickly and after all the loan documents were dealt with, the money was in my account to spend right away. Very good outfit to deal with. Folk should try them first.

Although I had several months before the wedding day would be upon us, we still needed some extra cash to make deposits on several items. If we waited too long, the prices would go up and we would end up paying a lot more. Better to get a personal loan we thought and set the price so we would know our budget.A friend had just been approved for a personal loan with Tesco's Bank and we decided to apply to them too. We had heard good things about Tesco's financial services, and that their rates were very reasonable, so we went on line to have a look at their website. We liked what we saw and read so applied for a personal loan with them. The application was user friendly and having completed all the information they needed, we submitted the form and hoped for the best. We were not asking for much so we felt it might be possible to be approved. We received an immediate decision and by the end of the next week we had the money for the deposits. I am so glad we listened to our friend, Tesco's came through for us too.

I had previously asked for a personal loan with Tesco's and was approved without any hassle, this was a couple of years ago. It's all paid off now and I needed to consolidate some debts and bills I had, so I decided to apply to them again. I was hopeful that having been a good customer in the past that I would also be successful this time.I went into my local store and sat down with the customer service person. We went through my financials and I was still in their computer system. We completed the application and he said that I would hear back from them in a day or so. I was delighted to get a phone call the next day to say I had been approved and I went back to fill out another form and sign on the dotted line. The money was in my account by the end of the week. Great store to do business with is Tesco's.

I had to make some substantial improvements to the house before we could put it on the market to sell. So the wife and I decided to apply for a personal loan to cover this expenditure. We would be able to pay it back when the house sold, or if it took some time at least we would have some breathing space with the chance to avoid repayments for the first couple of months. We shop at Tesco's so knew about the financial services they offered, in fact we did have an insurance policy with them at one time..We applied on line and as they said, we did receive an immediate decision. This was very pleasing and we could start planning for the remodeling. It was a quick and easy process, applying for a loan, and the bonus of course, was extra Clubcard points.

I was looking for a personal loan to complete some home improvements. We had begun the work and had to put it on hold because of a few unexpected expenses.Being regular TESCO customers we thought they might be the ones to approach. Admittedly we did have some debt but we were both employed and at a stage where a reasonable monthly payment could quite easily be sorted out.We liked the fact that if a loan was approved it would have a fixed rate and you could possibly select the repayment period to make the instalments manageable. We applied online and the entire process took a matter of a few days and we had the £6000 we asked for deciding on a 3 year repayment schedule.TESCO BANK were really helpful and we're grateful to them.

Tesco Bank are just as competitive as the other high street lenders and we had a few to choose from when we were looking for our personal loan. But we shop at Tescos on a regular basis and have done so since we first got married over 30 years ago and they suit our shopping requirements and tastes. Although we will always pop in to other supermarkets when there is a special promotion or discount on something we like, Tesco will usually manage to beat that price or at least match it. I think this is the approach they use with their loans also and that is why we didn't feel the need to go to another lender for our personal loan because we knew we'd be getting just as good or even better deal with Tesco Bank. Notching up plenty of extra Clubcard points was another incentive for us to use Tesco Bank because as Tesco would say themselves, 'every little helps'!

Getting such a good rate on this loan and having the option to take a two month repayment holiday at the start of the loan was the two main reasons for me choosing to go with Tesco Bank for this loan.I wouldn't normally consider someone like Tescos for this sort of financial commitment but my own bank weren't offering a particularly flexible loan and I really did need that option to defer payment for the first couple of months which Tesco Bank were offering and my own bank weren't.It really is as simple and straightforward as that. If my bank had been more flexible I would have gone with them. So they lost out to a supermarket chain and I think they really ought to be re-thinking their loan policy so that their customers don't jump ship and go to lenders like Tesco Bank.

My husband should really be writing this review because he is the one that is chuffed with this loan we have got from Tesco Bank. I am pleased we got it because it means he will shut up about the state of our garden patio and finally get around to having some nice decking put down.We talked about getting this loan months ago and never got around to it until now and that was only because we saw that our next door neighbour was ripping up his old patio too and we didn't want him laying his decking first and then thinking that we were copying him.We got in first and told him what we were planning and he said he was digging his patio up so that he could bury his wife under it which we thought was in very bad taste as his wife was standing right next to him when he said it. As it turns out his drains were blocked and he just needed to get to the manhole cover that was underneath. He'll be putting back the old patio slabs once he's unblocked things which means our new decking is going to look even better when its done and we needn't have panicked about getting the loan so quickly but I am glad we did.

Tesco Bank have proved to be more than just a competitive lender because they also offering borrowers the option to take a 2 month repayment holiday at the start of the loan. That tells me a lot about them as a bank because they genuinely seem to want to help people as much as they can with their loans. For us being able to take up this option was a real bonus because it meant we could start the work on our extension right away and not have to worry about repayments until March. If we had realised about the repayment option beforehand we might well have taken out the loan towards the end of last year. But we didn't want to leave ourselves short just before Christmas. We could have had the extension finished by now if we'd know but its better late than never and at last we will have the house back to normal in a few weeks and only then will we have to think about paying the loan back.

Hi everybody! All my mates call me Larry and it was one of them getting married and deciding to have the Stag in Barcelona. I'd never been there and also would never miss his stag so I needed to take out a personal loan and decided on TESCO BANK after searching online. Believe it or not this would be the third stag in under 8 months and all abroad so this time I was compelled to take out the loan. The entire process was done online and they were really helpful. After checking out my credit rating they approved my loan of £3000 and within a few days I had the money. I chose to settle via 12 equal monthly payments hoping there wouldn't be another three stags next year. But TESCO BANK were great and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Our last child had just moved out of home and we now found that 4 bedrooms were really too many. A big ensuite bedroom for us and another ensuite bedroom for guests and/or family would be more than sufficient. We called a home improvement specialist in to redesign the inside of our house so that we'd have more leisure area as well as an open plan kitchen. We needed a personal loan to do this work and TESCO BANK was the one we chose. We applied online and asked for £12000 which we'd repay over 5 years. We chose a long repayment period because it was for our house and we weren't going anywhere and we didn't want to be under any pressure with the repayments. Also the loan had a fixed rate status so the instalments would be constant for the length of the loan.Everything went well and within a week we had the cash. TESCO BANK were professional and helpful. We don't believe we could have chosen a better company.

I would never have believed it a few years back that I would be taking out a personal loan with Tesco. But I am always keen to get the best deal with any transaction I make and getting a personal loan with the most competitive APR was my main intention and so I certainly wasn't going to dismiss Tesco Bank when I looked on their loan comparison website. They were offering what looked to be the best option for my requirements and I would have been daft not to go with them just because of my past misconceptions. Tesco Bank are right up there with the rest of the well known high street banks and they are proving they deserve to be there by giving such competitive loans like the one I have just got from them.

My wife and I are very pleased with the loan we have just got from Tesco Bank and we will definitely be recommending then to other people.I'm not sure if most people realise just how good Tesco Bank have proved to be when it comes to competing in the huge market of lending. But I know enough about banks to know that Tesco Bank are offering me a very good deal on this loan.A quick search of the loan comparison website proved what I already suspected and that is that Tesco Bank are definitely the bank for hard working people with average incomes. They even offer a 2 month repayment holiday at the start of your loan which was a great help to me so soon after Christmas which my own bank would certainly not have been able to match that's for sure.I would advise anyone looking for a competitive loan to look at Tesco Bank first and see what they come up with. If it's a good deal and your own bank can't beat them then you know where to go.

Once Tesco Bank had approved my personal loan I opted to pay the additional fee so that I could get the loan documents delivered by courier the next day. It was worth it to get the loan finalised as quickly as possible and get the money into my bank account. If Tesco Bank hadn't been offering this service I would have suggested it myself. There are certain things you just don't want to trust to the Royal Mail.So with the help of the courier service I worked out that it took less than a week to get my loan from Tesco Bank which is pretty impressive. I have to wait longer than that to get an appointment with my doctor!I never thought I'd be getting a loan from the likes of Tesco Bank but I wanted a better deal than my bank were offering and Tesco Bank came up with it. They also gave me the benefit of a two month repayment holiday so that went in their favour when I was narrowing down my search. What's that Tesco slogan? "Every Little Helps", and they are absolutely right about that.

Tesco Bank personal loans are in my opinion, one of the best deals on the market at the moment. this is my second loan with Tesco Bank and I have come back to them for this loan because the first one was so straightforward and uncomplicated. I didn't have a single problem with the terms and conditions of the loan and it just seemed to suit me very well. A good interest rate and affordable repayments were all I was looking for and if Tesco Bank weren't offering the same this second time around I simply would have gone somewhere else for the loan.We have plenty of choice these days and so there is no excuse for putting up with a loan agreement that doesn't suit you. Tesco Bank were even offering what they call a repayment holiday but I didn't take it because I am happy with the loan and just want to get on with paying it back sooner rather than later.

Just to take care of my daughter's new apartment she bought I promised her that we would spend a further bit just to make sure she'd be really cosy. The floor needed some work and so did the kitchen and bathroom. She was my firstborn so I almost felt it was my duty.Online I discovered TESCO BANK and approached them for a personal loan of £8000 which I would repay over 3 years of equal monthly instalments. My loan was approved and within a short while after signing the loan agreement the funds were in my account and the remodelling began in my daughter's apartment. Our loan from Tesco Bank has just come through and we are going to book our holiday today. We were going to give the Summer holiday a miss this year because of the expense of Christmas but it would have meant we'd gone without a proper holiday for 3 years and we decided that life is too short to keep putting things off. You're a long time dead my husband kept saying and so I agreed to get a loan but just enough to afford a nice couple of weeks in Majorca which is our favourite place for a holiday. We chose Tesco Bank because we shop there regularly and we had a small loan from them a few years back and we managed it very well. If we needed to borrow a larger sum of money we would go to our own bank but for this type of loan Tesco Bank is ideal for us and as we get extra points on our Clubcard with this loan it just makes more sense for us to go with Tesco Bank.

My parents put me on to Tesco Bank when I said I was looking for a loan. They looked a bit alarmed when I first mentioned it because I think they thought I meant a loan from the Bank of Mum and Dad!I fully intended going to my own bank but the loan wasn't going to be for a huge amount and my banks rates weren't particularly great and I was looking at other lenders on the internet when my mum said Tesco Bank were a good choice and that they had had a couple of loans from them in recent years and were satisfied with them.So I applied to Tesco Bank and got my loan and the cheek of my mum. She said as payment for her financial advice I should let her have the Clubcard points. What could I say, she is my mum after all, and I'd do anything for her except tidy my bedroom!

With our Tesco Bank personal loan we are also getting loads of extra points on our Tesco Clubcard which will come in very handy for us. That is one of the reasons we chose to apply for our loan with Tesco Bank instead of our own bank. We do most of our weekly shop at Tescos and we will benefit a great deal from these extra Clubcard points. Our own bank couldn't offer a good enough interest rate on a loan to be able to persuade us to go with them for the loan. They could match Tesco Banks rate but we wouldn't be getting anything else and so those Clubcard points won us over to Tesco Bank and we are going to make sure we get as many Clubcard points as we can throughout our loan period to make it even more worthwhile and profitable for us.

I got the idea to apply to Tesco Bank for a personal loan while I was doing my weekly shop in, you guessed it, Tescos!I'd been thinking about taking out a loan to sort out some debts and possibly trade in my old car for something a bit more reliable but my bank were not offering very competitive rates so I knew I'd have to look elsewhere if I wanted to get the best deal.I tend to forget just how big Tescos are within the financial services business but a quick chat with their customer services in store gave me some good advice and so I went home and immediately applied for the loan. The loan has all been finalised now and the funds are due any time son. So I thought I would post my review to say how pleased I am with the loan agreement and I will continue to shop at Tescos because I like their F&F clothes range and I love their bags of freshly made doughnuts, mmmn!

We have a really great Tesco store just down the road from us and it must be one of the biggest and best in the country because it has so much under one roof. We can quite easily spend a whole day there at the weekend doing our food shop and browsing through their clothing department in between grabbing a coffee in their coffee shop.Being able to do all that and also come away with a personal loan has to be the best days shopping ever. We had talked about getting a loan to pay for our summer holiday and when we were next in Tescos we decided to speak to one of their customer services staff before we started our weekly shop. Before we knew it we had set the wheels in motion for our personal loan and left the store a few hours later having done our shopping and got the approval for our personal loan subject to their usual credit checks. The next time we go in it will be to sign on the dotted line for our loan because the credit check went well and we have got our loan along with some extra Clubcard points which are always handy.

I've surprised myself by applying for a personal loan from Tesco Bank because I worked for a big high street bank for years before retiring and had a bit of a low opinion of supermarket banks as such.I don't mind being proved wrong because I have been given such a competitive interest rate for this loan that I know for a fact my own bank wouldn't even consider offering me and it makes me wonder why I felt such loyalty to my bank all these years when it doesn't seem to work both ways. That doesn't really matter now because I am delighted with this loan which is going to allow me to do some lovely things that I have been putting off until I retired and now the time has come and I am going to do them all one by one thanks to this loan from Tesco, my new favourite bank!

I did not hesitate to consider asking them for a short term loan, therefore, when we needed to find some extra cash for an unexpected trip we had to make.We actually telephoned them, providing our details and asked if we could be considered for a personal loan and make an application while on the line with them. It was not a problem at all and the loan officer we spoke with was very considerate and helpful. We received a response the next day and they granted us a short term loan for our needs. We were really pleased with the terms they gave us and liked the extra clubcard points that came with the deal.

My twin girls are in school together and whenever there is a school event or outing, its always double the price for me to pay. I don't mind of course but sometimes expenses get up there and are a bit beyond me. I never want to let them down so when the Paris school trip came up the only option for me was to take out a personal loan, so the girls could go with their friends.I had a savings and checking account with Tesco's so it seemed appropriate to apply to them for a small loan to pay for this outing. I was in the store the other week and decided to speak to someone about this issue. The lady was very pleasant and completely understood the dilemma I found myself in, she considered it not a problem at all and together, we filled out the application.A few days later I received a call from her to say that I had been approved and after I signed off on the documents the money was in my checking out ready to pay for the girl's trip. How wonderful of Tesco's, they were so understanding.

When I visited the dentist with my young son I was really hoping that it was not going to be an expensive one. But, it turned out to be just that. We needed braces for him and they cost a pretty penny I can tell you. What's a parent to do, if the kid needed attention to the teeth then you have to abide by the experts.I did not have the funds for this expense so I figured I would have to turn to a bank for a loan. I remembered reading about Tesco's offering loans when I took our an insurance policy with them. So I decided to visit them and ask about a personal loan. I had to go shopping anyway, so the timing was perfect. The man I spoke with was very helpful and provided some good information and suggestions as to the type of loan I should go for.I completed the application with him and he submitted it for me. After I had finished shopping I returned to his office and he said that I had received a decision pending credit checks etc. Gosh that was easy, I felt a lot happier when I next took my son to the dentist.

I have a savings and current account with Tesco's Bank and have always been pleased with their services. I was considering asking them for a loan to buy a bigger car, ours was getting a bit tight to fit everyone in these days. The kids with all their sports gear and what not. I figured it was about time to upgrade.I was on line the other week and just ideally pulled up their website to see what they had to say about personal loans, what they needed and if I qualified. I studied their information pages and it seemed pretty reasonable so I retrieved the application form there and then. It was easy to fill out and I submitted it in the hopes of an early reply. Well they were back to me within the hour, that was pretty quick. They offered me a good deal which I took, and after I had signed the documents, the money was in my account by the end of the next week.

We did not have a garage on the side of our house but we had the room to build one. I had been meaning to put a plan together and finally I got around to it. The idea was to obtain a personal loan to deal with this project, which I could build myself with help from my brother, I just needed the funds to do it.I had been looking at a lot of lenders and banks on line to see the deals they offered, I opted for Tesco's Bank who seemed more reasonable than most with their terms. So I went ahead and looked at their online information and felt comfortable with what they had stated in their detailed pages.I clicked on the application box and filled out the forms which were straightforward and simple. I sent the forms off and waited for a response. Within half a hour I received a decision to grant me a personal loan pending the approval of my credit check. I was lucky enough to get that approval and the garage is on its way to being completed. Good bank to do business with is Tesco's.

Both of our recent loans over the past 5 years have been from Tesco Bank and because we are so delighted that we seem to be able to get approved for their loans so easily we don't think we will spoil our run of good luck and go to another lender just in case!We are just regular working class people and we feel a bit intimidated by our own bank so we wouldn't go to them for a loan if we can avoid it. We might be doing them an injustice but we have heard and read things about banks in general that put us off.We have applied for this loan using the internet but before that we have spoken to the customer services department and got some help which was most appreciated. The staff seem to know quite a bit about the financial side of Tescos business which is a good sign. I bet a lot of their employees get loans from Tesco, I would if I worked for them.

Tesco Bank is a very good bank. People should forget that they are a supermarket too and just look at the loans they are offering as a bank. They are offering better interest rates than my own bank are and that is why I went to them for a personal loan and not to my own bank. Also I get lots of extra points on my Tesco supermarket Clubcard and that is the time to think of Tesco as a supermarket when you are using all your points to get lots of free things and offers when you are shopping.

My wife and I shop regularly at Tescos, we do our weekly shop after work on a Friday and the car is always loaded so when it broke down half way home one Friday and had to be towed away we decided it was time to get a new car.We are not ones to use our bank for loans but we don't mind using some of the other loan companies from time to time. But the amount we needed to borrow for the new car was a bit more than we have normally taken out loans for so we had to be more careful about who we got our loan through. Our daughter did some searching on the internet and told us that Tesco Bank were offering very competitive loans and so we decided to apply for one. Within a week we had the loan and we were also able to take advantage of what they call a two month repayment holiday which was very handy as it gave us time to adjust our finances a bit before the first repayment is due.We are really happy with this loan and the new car is running beautifully, and hopefully there's no chance of this one breaking down for a while.

We haven't had a proper holiday as a family for several years and we decided to try and get together for a really nice one before our eldest daughter gets married next year. My husband suggested we hire a nice big villa in Spain or Portugal and invite all the kids and their partners to join us. They all said they were up for it so we had to get a move on a get the money to pay for the villa and our flights. We went to Tesco Bank because we like dealing with them. We had a loan from them a few years ago to pay for a new kitchen and we were very happy with the terms of that loan and didn't have a problem making the repayments. We've found that we need to borrow almost as much this time because as we are finding out some of the villas we are looking at don't come cheap. But this is a one off holiday and so we are going to make the most of the loan money and book the villa we have all agreed looks the best for our requirements. We wouldn't be doing this without the very good deal we got with this loan from Tesco bank. We always said we'd use Tesco Bank again after we got our new kitchen and we meant it.

very relieved to have got this loan from Tescos as I have been refused loans before, usually when I am at my most desperate for the cash. but that has been a while now and I haven't needed to borrow money for anything. I don't need to change cars but there is a lovely motor that has come up for sale and it would suit me down to the ground because it is an upgraded model of my current car. so for less than I paid for my car 5 years ago I can get a better model. nobody in their right mind buys a brand new car anymore because it devalues the minute you drive away from the dealership. everyone nows that.

We are going to Spain for our first holiday abroad since we've been married and it was 6 years ago so we are really looking forward to it and getting some guaranteed sunshine for two weeks. We shop at Tescos regularly so that is one of the reasons why we got our loan from them. they have a big advert for their loans as you enter the store and we can't help but see it every time we go shopping. We used their online loan application to save us some time but we also spoke to the customer services lady who told us a bit more about Tesco Bank and their loans. We wouldn't bother with our own bank when you can do your food shopping and get a great loan all from the same place.

My son had just graduated from university and as a present his mother suggested we all go to Miami for 4 days. It was a travel deal she'd seen online and wanted a bit of fun in the sun and pat Andrew on his back at the same time.So we needed a personal loan for two parents and 2 kids to go on a 4 day getaway and the wife led us to ask TESCO BANK online for a personal loan of £5000 which we'd repay over 2 years. We'd used TESCO BANK in the past and not had a problem and so it proved this time too.The loan was approved without much red tape and we just had to sign the loan documents and away we were. We all giot back with sunburn and thank TESCO BANK for their help.

I was in a bit of a hurry to get a personal loan and Tesco Bank were the best choice for me. they approved the loan online and couriered the paperwork to me the next day. I signed them and got them straight back to them. Within 5 working days I had my funds in my bank account. Really couldn't have asked for a better service and the rates weren't extortionate either.Another good feature of my loan was that Tesco Bank were allowing me to take a 2 month repayment holiday at the start of the loan so even though I have my money now I don't have to worry about paying it back until April.

Our family car broke down and they said it was not worth the money it would cost to fix it so we had to think about getting another car very soon because we need it for our business and to get our children to school. We decided to get a loan and we spent many hours looking on the internet and then we chose Tesco Bank because they are charging very reasonable rates for the loan and they also have said we can defer the repayments for 2 months which will be a great help. Our old car is only scrap value now but the new car we are going to buy is so much nicer and bigger so there will be more room for the children who are growing by the day. It also has four doors so no more struggling to get in and out especially for my elderly mother who will be most pleased when she sees it.

My mum and dad were applying for a Tesco Bank loan and that gave me the idea to try and get a loan from them also. Mum and dad use Tesco Bank quite a bit and they said they are always competitive. I wasn't too bothered about how competitive they were I just wanted to borrow enough to pay for my summer holiday and my hair extensions. My dad helped me do the online application and he advised be about interest rates and keeping the monthly repayments affordable so that I don't get myself into trouble each month. I took his advice and I am only borrowing the exact amount I need. The monthly repayments don't seem to bad at all and I am sure I could have borrowed more but I did as my dad said and now I have had the loan approved and there is no going back now.

What good loans we have been getting from the Tesco Bank. This is our third loan and we have not had to complain about anything at all. We get a good interest rate every time and they dont make us wait too long for the money to be put into our bank. This loan has only taken one week and a day to be sorted for us. We can make good use of the money now and buy the new furniture we need for our house. We tell all our friends and our family to go to Tescos not just for their food but to get loans from them also.

My son wanted to buy his first car and couldn't get credit anywhere. I understand how the loan companies work and respect their decisions. My son is as stright as they come and although he has only been working for 4 months, I took it on me to apply for a personal loan of £6000 from TESCO BANK and I would then pass the money over to him to buy the car he chose. I would then make him responsible for the monthly instalments with me as his backstop, of course.I applied online with TESCO BANK and without too much fuss the loan was approved and I purposely opted to pay back over 36 months to make it manageable for my son. It was a matter of days and the money was in my account. My own credit rating must be very good. TESCO are topnotch.

Some refurbishing and remodelling was urgently required at home and my wife had been nagging for such a long time that I was compelled to take out a personal loan. I told her we needed to do this together so that no blame could be put on the other. She agreed as long as she got to choose the interior decorator.Knowing who the boss is we went online and applied for a personal loan from TESCO BANK. We used them because we shop with them regularly and know they are credible. It didn't take too long and we had the funds. We had asked for £8000 and wanted the easiest repayment plan which for us was to be 48 equal monthly payments for which we signed a debit order. And that was that and things are taking shape at home all thanks to Tesco Bank.

Everyone know who Tesco are and they are every where in the uk with supermarkets and clothing ranges and even stores for your home I even think my son has a Teaco mobile. I was not surprised to see them offer good loan deals. I was looking to get my son a car for his 18th birthday that's coming up and I wanted the best rate for the quicken amount off time. I have a good job and make good money so the monthly repayments were not a problem to be a high amount to get the loan paid back faster was ok with me. I applied with Tesco to borrow £3000 over 12 months and when I search online not many companys could offer a low Apr rate like Tesco could for a short term loan. I found most company's offered better rates the longer you took the money and I didn't like this and I definitely didn't want this so Tesco was my best option.I applied with them and my son now has his new car so everything worked out for me thanks to tesco. No one else could come close to this type off loan and I am glad I went with them and I now have a Teaco club card.

After a quick conversation with them I was approved me for even more than I had asked for and even needed at the time. My daughter was getting married in Austria in a few months. She'd been living there for the last 5 years and we knew she had met somebody and marriage was on the cards. Understanding our financial situation which was not bad, she still insisted that they did not want us to pay for anything. All they wanted was for us to be there. We had some savings but decided instead to take out a small personal loan from TESCO BANK for £4000 and we'd make a holiday of it too. They were going to Italy on honeymoon and we'd take a little trip down to the Algarve for a few days. Our online application was approved and we opted to pay back over 2 years.Within a matter of days and after signing the loan documents the funds were available and we booked the necessary flghts and hotels. It was a beautiful wedding and our 2nd honeymoon in the Algarve matched it.Thank you TESCO BANK.

I took my very first loan with Tesco Bank. I found them online when I was looking to get some money and I liked the look of tesco payments plans and there low rates so I applied with them. Never haven taken a loan I was not sure what to exspect so I read as much of the information I can that Tesco gave me after I done the application. The application side of things was the easy and best part , it was simple to do. It took tesco the 3rd day to contact me after they had done a credit check for them to offer me the loan at a low rate. I was not to thrilled it took them a few days to get back to me but I am glad that they did and the paper work took alot faster to get to me than tesco took to call me. I signed and read over the terms and the contract a few times before I decided I was happy and this loan was the right thing to do , I then send them back direct to tesco.Everything took around 8 days in total and I had the money on the 8th day. I could have done with the money a little bit faster.

Can there be anything worse than continuous motorcar trouble? I really like the car we have and it is used by both my wife and I. What's really bothersome is that my wife uses it to get to work and on three occasions the car has broken down on her. Also each time it goes in for repairs it costs a fortune. So we decided to buy another car and keep the old one as a standby vehicle with the possibilty of selling it at a later stage. We saw the car we wanted and applied online for a personal loan from TESCO BANK following our daughter's advice. And what good advice it was. We filled in an online application asking for £8000 which we wanted to pay off over 3 years.Without much fuss the loan was approved and as soon as we'd signed the loan agreement the funds were made available. It's really beneficial to have a good credit history. We now have the second vehicle and it's taken a load off our minds. We have a lot to thank TESCO BANK for.

We had in the past used TESCO BANK without any problems so once again we applied for a personal loan online and asked for £10000 and also asked for a 5 year payback period so we would not have any problem with the monthly payments.Once again a credit check was carried out and very quickly the loan was approved. As before we then just had to sign the loan agreement and the money was transferred to our account.TESCO BANK are so helpful.

Before I had even looked on the loan comparison website I knew about Tesco Bank giving competitive deals on personal loans. A friend at work had recently taken out a loan with them to buy her car and she said that her husband had spent hours online researching the best deals and couldn't find one better than Tesco Bank were offering.I suppose maybe I should have found all this out myself but as her husband had gone to more than enough trouble for the both of us already I thought I should take advantage of his findings and give Tesco Bank a try.Suffice to say I was very happy with the outcome and when the loan was approved and Tesco Bank informed me I had only 24 hours to wait for my money I rang my friend and told her to thank her hubby for all his hard work but he didn't have a clue what we were talking about!

However, my eagle eye wife wanted to check that there wasn't a better deal to be had elsewhere and she insisted we look online first before committing to Tesco Bank. The long and the short of it is we couldn't find a better deal and so we went with the Tesco Bank loan and like the one before we are more than happy with the terms and conditions of this one and we are about to buy our daughter's first ever car and hope she has many happy times driving it.

Tesco loans first got my attention due to their maximum loan term – 120 months! This is a much longer period than any other lender I've used in the past, and that's what I was looking for. Although I have never been late for or missed payments in the past, it has been a struggle. This time I wanted a similar amount but for a much longer time period in order to make paying back the loan a little less stressful. The process with Tesco has been simple and easy, and the repayments that are coming out of my account each month are so small that I hardly even notice them.

When my partner and I split up, things started to get a bit messy, and I decided the best course of action was to get a lawyer. Services of a lawyer don't come cheaply, and because most of my personal money was tied into our joint account, the whole situation was quite complicated. Then I found the reasonable deals you could get with Tesco loans. It was really good to be able to keep things separate, and because I had good credit history, my application was approved straight away. Now I can relax, knowing that my case is being handled by the best lawyer in the area, and money constraints didn't have to be part of the equation.

What was so great about taking out a loan with Tesco, was the repayment holiday at the start. I needed some extra cash urgently, but didn't think a loan would be possible, as I couldn't start making repayments for a few weeks. Then I found Tesco. After explaining my predicament to them, they informed me that I was an eligible customer for the repayment holiday at the start of my loan – for a whole eight weeks! It was nice to know that I could get the money I needed, and not have to worry about being late for repayments as I had been provided with a plan to suit me.

A few months ago there was a water leak in my house, and a lot of damage was caused. Luckily my house insurance covered most of the reparation costs, but I stupidly hadn't updated my policy in quite some time, so there were a few things to replace that weren't covered. I really wanted to get my house back in order, so decided to take out a personal loan to repair the damages that weren't covered by my insurance. A friend of mine told me that they regularly use Tesco Bank and have never had any problems, so I went on to their website and applied for a quote online. They got back to me really quickly, and from there on the proceedings ran really smoothly. Now I understand why my friend uses them so regularly and recommended their services.

My personal loan from Tesco Bank has just been approved and I am so happy and delighted to have got it that I felt I should just take the time to say how much this loan means to me and my husband. We have both been working very hard but my husband's recent illness meant he was out of work for a while last year. When we decided to treat ourselves to a nice holiday abroad this summer we couldn't get a loan from our bank and so with our daughter's help we looked for an alternative way of getting a loan on the internet and thats how we ended up with this loan from Tesco Bank. This loan is not only a very affordable one, it was so easy to get and we thought there was bound to be a catch somewhere but there really wasn't. The simple fact is we have got ourselves a very good loan that is competitive and affordable. Tesco Bank even give you the option of a 2 month repayment break but we didn't need it as we were delighted to have got this loan and just want to go straight ahead with the repayments.By this time next year we will have paid the loan back and who knows we may even take out another one and treat ourselves to another holiday.

The big banks had better watch out if this loan from Tesco is anything to go by. My wife and I are delighted that we chose Tesco for this loan. Our own bank were very unco-operative when we approached them about getting a loan to help our daughter with her university fees. They deserve to lose out to the likes of Tesco Bank who were only too happy to approve this loan for us and they aren't charging us the earth for it either. It's a competitive and affordable loan which is all we were asking our bank for but it seemed to be too much trouble for them. We are very disappointed in them but very impressed with Tesco Bank and will certainly use them again.

As this year will probably be our last family holiday for quite some time, due to both the children hopefully going off to university in September, I wanted to make it a really special one, and not be constrained by finances like we are every other year. For this reason, I took out a personal loan with Tesco Bank. It's not the first time I've used their financial services, and as always, I'm a satisfied customer. Their loans are easy to apply for, and I was able to choose a repayment plan that suits me and my family. The holiday will be payed off before we even go on it, but it's nice to know that it's already booked now, and I won't have to pay extortionate prices for last minute flights.

When my son told me that he and his girlfriend were expecting a baby, I reacted badly, and wasn't exactly pleased about the news due to their young age. However, when I had some time to get used to the idea, I felt really guilty about my initial reaction and wanted to apologise and help them out financially to start off their family life together. I remember how expensive all the baby equipment is, and even nappies and formula seem to cost a considerable amount these days. Taking out a Tesco loan was a great way to be able to give my son the help he needed, and with a lump sum he can now purchase everything they need, and I will just pay it off gradually in a way that I can afford.

When my niece told me the wonderful news that she was getting married, I really wanted to be involved with the organisation and help financially. She was insistent that I wasn't going to pay for any part of the wedding, so instead I was allowed to organise and pay for the perfect honeymoon. With no children of my own, my niece is like a daughter to me, and I really wanted to give her a magical honeymoon, so I decided to take out a loan to finance a no expense spared holiday. Tesco were fantastic, and I even got a two month repayment holiday at the start of the loan which was great.

I am a big big fan of Tescos now that I have got such a great deal with them for this personal loan. I don't like going to my bank if I can avoid it so getting a loan so easily just by going online and doing the application was the perfect solution for me. I looked at all the high street lenders on the loan comparison website but I shop at Tescos and just felt comfortable using them. The two month repayment holiday was also a good reason to go with Tescos because I won't have to make the first repayment until the end of May which gives me plenty of time to sort out my finances and make sure I have made allowances for that all important first repayment to go through without a hitch.

We have started work on our lovely new designer kitchen thanks to the loan I got from Tesco Bank. My husband was against the idea of going to our own bank because they were not particularly competitive with their rates and so I said I would do some searching on the internet to find the most competitive loan and to my surprise it came in the form of a personal loan from none other than Tescos. So it would seem that it is not only their supermarkets that offer their customers great deals. They have a very good financial service that is doing the same. I will certainly be telling all my friends about how good Tesco Bank are, its the least I can do to say thank you for this great loan.

What a great idea it was to take out this personal loan with Tesco Bank. We have the luxury of being able to pay it back over a 5 year period, making the repayments so affordable as to hardly miss the money going out of our bank account each month. This loan is going to allow us to clear a few debts and most importantly, book the cruise we have been promising ourselves for years. With such an affordable monthly repayment we really can't think of a better way to use this personal loan. Sorting out our debts and having a nice leisurely cruise to spend reflecting on our new debt free situation, what could be better!

Well we're delighted to have got this loan from Tesco Bank which is going towards the cost of our only daughter's wedding. We're using it together with some of our savings to make sure she has the wedding of her dreams and we hope she won't have to scrimp on any aspect of it with the money we are giving her.She was reduced to tears when we handed her the cheque and for her mother and me it was a wonderful sight to see such happiness in our daughter's face. We have told her to spend every last penny of it making sure that nothing is missing and that she has a day to cherish for the rest of her life. When you only have the one daughter, it is a lovely feeling to be able to do this, but hopefully just the once!

I applied online Tesco loan 18k 2 weeks ago (the reason is to pay back my highest interest loan from my bank because tesco offer low APR % ) they give me reference number (silly me i didnt wtite it down) because they cannot decide online ( I guess is a NO) but no rejection letter? And of course I am still wondering did they accept me or not ? And when I applied my credit score is in a good" position and now ofcourse it has been decrease to fair" because of credit check by tesco, but I am still didn't get any decision from tesco.

In all honesty I wanted to take out a personal loan with Sainsburys Bank because I liked the idea of getting a load of extra Nectar points with their shopper reward loan. But my husband was more concerned with the APR they were quoting and wasn't budging on his choice of Tesco Bank, which not only came with a slightly lower rate but another good feature of the loan was being offered the option of a two month repayment break at the start of the loan. I had to agree that this was a much better perk for us as it would mean our first repayment wouldn't be due until after our holiday, which is what we wanted the loan for in the first place. Now that Tesco Bank have approved the loan I am more than happy with being overruled by the hubby. It doesn't happen very often so I am letting him enjoy it while it lasts!

When Tesco Bank approved our personal loan we were absolutely delighted. It's the first loan we have taken out since getting married last year and apart from our mortgage this is the biggest amount we have ever been in debt with. We are not in the least bit worried that we have borrowed such a large amount because we are both working full time and won't have any difficulties making the monthly repayments. We would rather put our hard earned salaries to good use with a loan that is going to allow us to build a small summerhouse in our garden so that we can make the best use of the surprisingly large garden area we were lucky to get with our new house. We chose Tesco Bank for the obvious reason that they were offering a really competitive APR but also we liked that they were offering us the option of a 2 month repayment break at the start of the loan. We took advantage of this because we have a couple of large expenses this month, one being a friend's wedding in the south of France and the other being my parents 30th wedding anniversary. Not having to make our first loan repayment until June is going to be a great help. We really couldn't be happier with our choice of Tesco Bank for this personal loan.

I knew that Tesco Bank did loans but until I started looking online and comparing their loans to the other banks I had no idea just how good they were. Their rates are one of if not the best I could find for the small personal loan I was looking to take out. Within minutes I could see they were my best option and I went straight ahead and made my loan application. Even applying for the loan was made as easy and as straightforward as you could hope for and. Tesco Bank even recommend a next day courier service for a small additional fee to ensure that you get your loan finalised faster. I am absolutely delighted with every aspect of this loan from Tesco Bank and will be telling all my friends about it, although I am sure a lot of them will already know just how good Tesco Bank loans are.

We have just had our personal loan from Tesco Bank approved which means we can go ahead and book our cruise. These will be two 'firsts' for us, our first personal loan that hasn't been courtesy of our own bank and our first ever cruise. We hope the booking of the cruise goes as well as applying for this loan did. We found doing the online application much easier than we imagined it would be as we are not great using the computer but it couldn't have been more straightforward for us so maybe we are not as bad as we think we are. Let's put that to the test now with booking our cruise and see how we get on.

I'm not normally one for writing reviews but I thought it was worth taking the time to write one as the tesco bank loan provided some much needed relief at a very stressful time. The gentleman that helped me was so helpful and explained everything thoroughly as I had no idea how these small loans worked and was worried about the payments back. Speaking to him made me confident that it was worth doing to get my sons op done privately rather than waiting around for the nhs to get their act together! I now have a much happier baby and I'm a happy mummy!

Thanks to taking out a Tesco Bank loan I have been able to get back on my feet again after not being able to work for quite a long time putting strain on my partner to support us both. I used the money to pay for a course that has enabled me to do a job more suited to me following my accident and that I actually enjoy! The staff were so helpful and answered all my queries which made the process stress free. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and it hasn't taken long to pay back either!

I really didn't want to have to resort to taking out a loan, I've heard so many stories of high interest rates and people getting themselves into even more trouble from small loans! But after speaking to the Tesco Bank loan team I knew it was the right move for me, I was up to my eyeballs and the stress of it was starting to take its toll to say the least. I was able to give back some money to my parents who were in much need too after helpng me out on many occasions. Thank you for making the process painless and help me get on the right track again!

I have had personal loans in the past but Tescos online loan application system was great. I wanted to buy a new good quality sofa . But I couldn't afford to buy it all outright. So when I saw them on line I thought how simple it was to be able to just fill the form in online. Once all that was done I got an answer straight away. You can also defer the payment for I think it is 2 months. Which is great over holidays like christmas etc , when you have got lots of outgoings but want to buy something now.

I decided to go with the TESCO Bank last year for a personal loan because we wanted to go on a family holiday to Disney Paris. They had a great deal on that we couldn't pass up. My husband decided to look into getting some sort of loan so we could treat ourselves. We were happily surprised with how much we could borrow without a massive interest rate and low payments. We got such a fab quote we actually decided to get a bit more! We had a good experience with TESCO over all but did find there email responses a bit slow. Would use them again!

TESCO was a really good personal loan for me, I'd used another company before and felt ripped off. I really wanted to take my time and find the right company for me this time. Readies was a really useful comparison site for me, they made making my choice super easy. I managed to borrow exactly what I needed at a good rate of repayment. It arrived in my bank in plenty of time for me to get my dads 70th birthday gift made and delivered! I have almost finished my repayments now and haven't had any issues with the interest. I'd use TESCO again.

Now a days there is so much pressure to throw the best party for your kids with the best gifts, I'm sad to say that I fell under the pressure for my daughters birthday this year and once it was nearing the big day and time to start paying for the venue, food, entertainer etc. I had a little panic when I realised I don't have enough to cover it all. I thought I was going to have to change it all or even cancel, then my aunt told me about tesco personal loans. Thank god she did they really saved my bacon! I had a nice easy and quick experience with them and will use them again I think.

With regards to personal loans I have never taken one out before and was very nervous about being in debt. I tried to use Tesco online application , but found I was happier with talking to an operator. Her name was Jenny and she was very sympathetic to my dis trust. She gave me an answer immediately and informed me that the rate would stay the same the whole time through my repayments. I was really happy with the service I received and it helped me out so much. I would definately consider using them again if I had to borrow money for any reason.

The chance of a lifetime came up for us and all we needed was to find the money for our airfare and a bit of spending money. We are talking several thousand pounds for us as a family of 5 to fly to California and stay at a friends holiday home for 3 weeks rent free. Included in this was also free day passes for all the theme parks and other attractions. Our kids were so excited we just had to get the money from somewhere and thankfully for us Tesco Bank answered our prayers with a very competitive and affordable personal loan. We'd used Tesco Bank a few years ago for a similar loan amount to replace our family car and that worked out really well for us so to be able to get an almost identical loan package with the added bonus of a 2 month repayment holiday at the start of this loan is more than we could have hoped for. We can't wait to tell the children that we are gong on their dream holiday and we wouldn't be doing so without this great loan from Tesco Bank.

I've got to hand it to Tesco Bank, they may not be my favourite supermarket but when it comes to personal loans they can compete with the best of them. I spent several hours checking out all the high street banks and other lenders such as M&S but none of them could beat the rate Tesco Bank were quoting me for a 5K loan over a 1 year period. I know rates can vary widely depending on how much you want to borrow and perhaps if I wanted to borrow more or even less than 5K Tesco might not have worked out the best deal for me. I would have to do a bit more research to verify that one way or the other but for the time being I am very pleased with the 5K loan I have just been approved by Tesco Bank and just wanted to show my appreciation with this review.

My personal loan from Tesco Bank has just been sorted and I am awaiting confirmation that the money is being transferred to my bank account. So I thought I should use this time to say how pleased I have been with this whole loan application process. It wasn't nearly as nerve wrecking as I thought it would be and to be honest I found the whole experience quite enjoyable. I impressed myself with my computer skills and Tesco Bank have a fairly easy online application process that is virtually idiot proof. To top it all off Tesco Bank have even given me a 2 month repayment holiday at the start of my loan which means I don't have to worry about the repayments until I get back from my holiday at the end of August. In a word, this loan from Tesco Bank is Brilliant!

The good thing about a personal loan is you can normally borrow money for many reasons, thats why its a personal loan. I wanted to borrow some money so I could leave my job basically. It was like a bridging loan. I had been offered a new job to start in 6 months but I wanted to take some time out and leave my existing job earlier than planned. I had to show them the contract for the new job and the Guaranteed income and then it was agreed and the money was in my bank account within 2 weeks. I would highly recommend Tesco as they have great customer services..

I had to take some time off work with illness so I fell behind with the rent. Being faced with eviction I decided the only way forward was to take out a loan with small repayments over a longer period of time. I asked to borrow £6000, enough to pay off the arrears and cover the next couple of months while I got back on my feet. I applied online for a tesco bank personal loan and was quickly accepted. The paper work that I had to fill in was simple enough and I had the money in my account within 10 days of applying. I am very happy I now have to time to get back on my feet.

Being a regular Tesco’s customer I always see advertisements for Tesco’s Personal Loans, so when I needed to borrow money they were the first that I thought of. Happily I needed look no further. I looked online and I was pleased with the interest rates and the fixed repayment sums I was offered. I borrowed £3000 and this covered the cost of my grandmother’s funeral with a little left over to treat the family. I applied over the phone and the rep I spoke to was helpful and sympathetic when I explained what the money was for. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

I wanted to treat my husband to something really special to celebrate his 40th birthday but I didn't have a lot of spare cash without dipping into our joint account which I really didn't want to have to do. After some thought I decided to try for a small personal loan but didn't want to involve our own bank as we only have a joint account with them and wanted to keep this whole birthday surprise as separate as possible. That's where the loan comparison website came in really handy and before I knew it I had applied for this brilliant loan from Tesco Bank of all people. I had no idea they were so competitive with their loans and that their loan application process was so easy. To cap it all they are even allowing me a 2 month repayment holiday at the start of the loan which means I have plenty of time to budget for the repayments which will be coming out of my personal savings account which I use for my twice yearly bonuses from my job to be paid into. They aren't huge bonuses but they'll be enough to cover the loan which is perfect as it will mean this 40th birthday surprise will be paid 100% by me which is how a birthday present should be I think.

My new bike is all down to a great loan from Tesco Bank and I just wanted to say a few words in their favour on this review website.Tesco Bank were a real eye opener to me and without the benefit of the loan comparison website Readies I don't know if I would have thought to try Tesco Bank for my loan. The comparison website is set out so well that it makes it really easy for you to see at a glance who is offering the most competitive loans and that happens to be Tesco Bank at the moment so I didn't need too much persuading to apply for my loan with them. They even offer a two month repayment holiday at the start of the loan but I didn't really need it so I am just happy to have got the loan and get straight on to making the first repayment at the end of this month. Really like the Readies loan comparison website and am delighted with my loan from Tesco Bank.

I have only ever had one other loan which was with my bank a few years ago and I found it all very complicated and didn't really understand how they worked out the interest rate they were charging me. When me and the wife decided on a whim to get a loan and book a cruise we got straight onto the internet before we changed our minds. We used one of the loan comparison websites to help us with our search for an affordable loan but it probably would have been quicker if we'd just popped down the road to our local Tescos. Thats' were we ended up getting our loan but we didn't realise at the time how good Tesco Bank were as a bank as we'd only ever shopped for food and the usual supermarket items. What a surprise Tesco have turned out to be. We got this great loan and we can't find anything to complain about with the loans terms and conditions It all seems to suit us very well and we just wonder why we never thought of using Tesco Bank before because we've been hankering after a nice cruise for ages.

Having to take out this personal loan coincided with a lot of family upheaval and the last thing we needed was more stress trying to get an affordable loan. We thought about approaching our bank for the loan but they weren't offering particularly good rates and we needed the loan in a bit of a hurry so we didn't have time to do too much research. In the end we went onto the internet like a lot of people do and looked on the loan comparison websites. That's how we found out that Tesco Bank were offering such good rates. We also noted that they offer you a two month repayment break at the start of your loan which would be very handy for us so we jumped at the chance of trying to get a loan through them. We managed the online application easily and were delighted to get the instant approval we were hoping for. Taking Tesco's advice we opted to pay for the next day courier delivery service and that helped to speed up the process. Within less than a week we have our loan and the money firmly in our bank account. We've got two months now to get the family situation sorted and then make the first payment on this loan and we can't thank Tesco Bank enough for coming to the rescue with such a great loan.

I must admit to not being a regular customer of Tesco's supermarkets so I really wasn't aware of their financial services and in particular the loans they offer. So it was a very pleasant surprise to see their name on the loan comparison website and to see just how good their loans really are. The rates they were quoting for the loan amount I was looking for were considerably better than those my own bank were advertising. It wasn't too difficult a decision to make to go with Tesco Bank for my loan.Within a week the loan was finalised and the funds deposited into my bank account. I was even given the option to defer the first two months repayments if I so wished but I was more than happy with this loan and just wanted to start repaying it as soon as possible. Who knows, I may just decide to take out another loan with Tesco Bank after being so pleasantly surprised with this one.

Thank the lord people like Tescos decided to go into the banking business otherwise I might not have got such a great loan to help pay for my daughter's wedding. She wasn't expecting it but there was no way I wasn't going to be paying for my only daughter to get married. I wouldn't feel right walking her down the aisle otherwise. Her mum and I divorced when she was little and I've always felt grateful that we were able to do it amicably and still remain friends today. So this Tesco Bank means a great deal to me because it's an affordable loan that I couldn't get from my own bank and applying for it and getting it approved the same day was more than I could have hoped for. Once that approval was confirmed I could stop worrying and start looking forward to walking my daughter down the aisle. Thanks Tesco Bank you've made a not quite so old man very happy!
